A spectacular piece of art. One of the best VNs out there and highly recommended.
Theway this game uses different peoples perspectives to tell the stories, reveal new sides and twist the meanings is fantastic and gutpunching.
Great unique drawn art and music as well.

One of the best visual novels I have read. While at times grim dark and emotionally devastating, it always managed to be hopeful in the end. It is a quite complex tale, spanning one thousand years, yet was never hard to follow. In it's core it is a story about humans, about how the best intentions can lead into unimaginable tragedy. It also shows that a story can change, if told from multiple perspectives.
While the art wasn't the usual anime-esque style you are used to from other visual novels, it was quite gorgeous and very expressive.
I was not as fond of the soundtrack as I would have liked, but it still fit very well and enhanced individual scenes.
Ultimately, this is a must read for fans of visual novels and for people who like good stories in general.

Truly an amazing VN and it has grown close to my heart. Probably, one of my favourite pieces of media ever. I can only encourage everyone to give it a try, as the experience really is a unique and beautiful one.

Not only does the story itself depict so many different and complex topics such as self-acceptance, identity, fate, love, abuse, understanding one's situation, humanity, family, trauma and so many more, but it does it in such a beautiful and tragic way I can't even describe.

The storytelling, writing and atmosphere was phenomenal throughout the entire game. On top of that, beautifully written characters with the most tragic and heartbreaking backstories I've ever read. Some of them like Michel and Giselle really grew on me, so much I was scared of finishing the game.
They had such an emotional impact on me that sometimes I could only sit there and cry. The twists that came with every door and revealing more of the truth and more of the characters really had me in tears.

But what I really loved is that you can really see each characters personal journey throughout the game. Watching the main characters grow mentally, as well as the whole cast. Seeing everything through Michels perspective, how he connected with everyone and how he tried to help them truly was an amazing journey to witness.

And of course, the beautiful art and music. In my opinion, one of the best OSTs. They perfectly amplify the emotional scenes and make the game 10x better. I love listening to them even when I'm not playing Fata Morgana. Cicio and The House in Fata Morgana are my favourites. :)
Overall, an easy 10/10.
