- einen First Person Shooter Dating Sim
- freischaltbare "erwachsenen-entertainment" Videos

Sehr sehr nices Game !

Pretty good game
Story 10/10
Characters 10/10
Grafic 7/10
Substories 7/10
Nuttable 2/10 (Those "erotic videos" you can watch by finding some random ass card are pretty lame. BUT I have to admit Kiryu is pretty hot tho)

Just finished the main story while doing a bunch of other shit on the side (didn´t 100% it). Back then I got it for 5 bucks and holy shit that was the best investment of my life.
Hot action, lotta great substories (=sidequests), amazing main story, sadness, CHADNESS, meme-worthy minigames that are actually really well made plus u can hire a fucking chícken as your financial advisor.
The game has its flaws that u will notice throughout the game, but only had to restart the game TWICE in a 70-hour playthrough because of bugs. Fighting gets a lil bland at the end because it stays the same in the core, but there is a lot of action and drama going on which kinda evens it out again.
Overall I would 100% recommend it because it´s still available for a great prize and it definitely made me wanna play the next yakuza games aswell.

I was stunned by the awesome story and the fights on hard mode with the custom rule of not healing in fights made it a good challenge and provided a lot of fun.

Alöso what i like about this game is how Real the 2 citys look like compared to the real citys its a very good jb what the developers did there and i will definetly continue the whole story till the end.

On the surface and main storyline: Dark and gritty Yakuza drama about murder and betrayal.
Substories and minigames: Absolutely wholesome and very weird and crazy. You basically teach people about honor, integrity and kindness with your fists.

After 3 hours of playing Mahjong I still don't understand it. Love it.

The game is generally speaking fun. The sidequest are fun, the minigames are fun and the exploration of the world is fun. But the fighting system is so shit, that it ruins the game for me. I dont know if im simply bad at the game, but i dont know what i am suposed to do when i get attacked by 5 dudes at the same time. Its impossible for me to execute proper attacks, because when you`re half done combing the attack, then somebody attacks you from behind and you go to floor and dont finish you attack. It works in 1vs1 but if have to fight a large crowd you can forget doing anythíng except running around hiting enemies once and repeat

First game I tried from the series. Had real fun for a couple of hours. Then came to the car chase scene, which is ridiculously out of line with the rest of the game. Died 30 times. Didn't get any better. Got very angry. Deinstalled it. Never will touch a "Yakuza" game again.

It's one of the best games I've ever played. I cried, laughed and this game gives you a special feeling that I've never had in my gaming career. It was so good that I played it twice in a row and I don't usually do that, especially with story games. I own almost every title in this series now, even one that is only available in Japan. I wish I could forget all my memories of these games to get the same special feeling I got every first time i played one of these games.

What a journey! Took me 300 hours until I got what I wanted: 100% completion.
Yakuza is a fighting game series revolving around gritty street fighting and brutal attacks as well as whacky side content that makes the games all the more diverse.

Yakuza 0 is no different. In fact, what makes Yakuza 0 special among the Yakuza series are the multiple switchable battle styles (there are 8 in total) and the ability to play as both Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima in a unified storyline.

The story is stellar with really well-made cutscenes. I won't spoil, but I can at least say that it's set in the year 1988, ten years before the events of the original Yakuza. You really have to experience it yourself. I loved it.

The graphics are good-looking. Yakuza 0 is more of an open-city than a real open-world game, but even for that matter you can spot lots of details here and there by just looking at your surroundings. Hell, you may even visit places from later Yakuza games just to see what they looked like in 1988. The places you'll be in most of the time are Kamurocho and Sotenbori and the two places look very similar to versions in other Yakuza games. But all in all, the graphics are solid for a modern game.

On a technical level there were a couple things that I wish I hadn't found. Most of the time, the game runs smoothly with no problems at all, but just tabbing out of the game causes it to freeze, making waiting in the game a nightmare, as you sometimes have to wait for things to happen and you can't just open up YouTube to watch something in the meantime. I'm especially talking about Real Estate Royale. Real nightmare.

I also found a game-breaking glitch that swaps out all your possessions for random items in the game. In the final chapter of the game, you can trigger a glitch using using the "Swap Protagonist" function to begin the final battle, but have all your items swapped out for random buggy stuff. For example, my medicine items were partially swapped out for weapons, my car parts became materials, my valuables became debug items and my gear stuff became menu items like beer and stuff. Funny at first, but all these replacements aren't visual - they literally make everything you have unusable. Make sure you save a lot in the final chapter.

Side content is always a fun way to drag out gameplay time and engage the player to keep exploring, even if they already saw every poligon in the game world. Except in Yakuza 0 they forgot the "fun" at home. There are exactly 100 substories which are mostly interesting, but also either too short or kind of repetitive. Most substories even give you a little bonus such as assistance with your business or some item. That's it. Every other thing you could do in the game, isn't fun. Let me spell it out.

The Completion List is a way for yourself to earn points for exchanging them for certain items/bonuses you can't otherwise get in the game. You can get an overpowered weapon, more running stamina or some upgrade to your business through those points. Seems legit so far, right? Wrong. Because the only way you'll earn these points is through doing Completion List stuff. There are 374 completion points in total and 85 of them are locked behind playing MINIGAMES!

And just so you understand... The minigames are horrific. Horrendously badly designed. Not fun to play, least of all fun to grind through. Some minigames where there is money involved such as gambling ALWAYS require you to win a certain amount of total cash out of it. And I'm talking winnings, not earnings. If you start with 1000 chips, you need to leave the minigame with more than that or it won't count. Now imagine every damn minigame involving money, where you play against AI opponents who ALWAYS have better luck than you, and your objective is to outluck them about 10 times.

All minigames involve some kind of RNG, may it be what kind of fish you get at fishing, how the cars position in OutRun or if the AI has got better cards than you in Poker, it's a long gamble ultimately based on luck whether or not you make progress towards one of your 85 minigame goals. The Mahjong minigame is especially bad - out of 100 long rounds, you may "go out" (win in Mahjong) only 5 - 10 times, if you're lucky. Or if you wanna try Shogi, well, you have to be a professional chess player, otherwise you'll always lose. Even on beginner difficulty.

Getting all 374 things done is a soul-crushing grind that is extremely frustrating when you lose promised progress because you ran out of luck at the last second. It's definitely possible, it's just seriously badly designed. It's never good game design to base a grind on RNG. NEVER.

So, in full view, is it worth it? Maybe. I got like some slightly cool stuff out of selling my soul to the Tojo Clan, like Ebisu Socks that give you 100 yen per footstep and make an annoying sound or the ability to keep eating when my health bar is full. Well, the only thing it was worth doing this for was the platinum trophy for 100% completion.

To sum it up, play Yakuza 0 for the story and it's fighting mechanics. Those are really good. The battle styles are fleshed out with their own unique movesets and characteristics. Everything else isn't. Just trust me.

Yakuza 0 gehört zu einer meiner Alltime-Favourite Single-Player-Games!

Pro:
- witzige Substories
- etliche Mini-Games (Disco, Karaoke, Retro-Arcade Games, UFO Catcher, Mahjong, Carbaret Club, etc.)
- gutes Kampfsystem (pro Protagonisten vier verschiedene Kampfstile)
- unzählige legendäre "Nani?" und "Nanyatte?"

Contra:
- verpasste Gelegenheit ein 2-Spieler-Coop-Game daraus zu machen

Sehr empfehlenswert für alle Japan-Fans!

Do NOT get this on PC.
There is a known Glitch regarding Gamepads in the PC Version. It's basically up to Chance whether or not the Game recognizes your Inputs correctly or at all. About 35h in for me, the Game first forgot that D-Pad Left existed and then swapped D-Pad Up and Down. I managed to fix those Issues temporarily by forcing a Steam Controller Config Profile, but now the Game constantly registers a Down Input even when i UNBIND THE LEFT STICK AND D-PAD COMPLETLY.
The Gameplay and Story ARE great, Get it on Console if you want to play it.

If you have never played a Yakuza game, Yakuza 0 is the perfect entry point.
It's my first game in the Yakuza series and I'm definitely getting the next ones. The story is very well written, there can hardly be better characters, the humour and atmosphere are top-notch. But what I liked the most is the combat system because there are so many different options in combat such as switching fighting styles and a great Movementset.
The game is a 10 out of 10.
