Music taste is incredibly subjective.

With that in mind, I still like this pack despite the fact that I am not the hugest country music fan to begin with.

To be fair, some of these songs seem a little more like alternative songs with a country flair to me. Still, they managed to make a genre that I don't have the greatest interest in something I actually go out of my way to hear. That's something.

The DJ does a good job of being in theme, and he references a few of the other ads that play on these packs. With him and the music, this pack feels very appropriate if you are building out small towns, rural communities, etc.

I recommend picking this up as part of a bundle, and/or when it is on sale. Full price isn't much, but save where you can, right?

My personal review for Cities Skylines: Country Road Radio

So this radio station is not the best one (the best is Rock City Radio according to me). Though I think this is actually the third best radio station in my opinion but i recommend it because it's some really nice and cozy music in this pack :)

My favorite station by a long shot. The tracks are very well done and the music makes you feel really comfortable and warm. I love what this game has become!

I don't usually write a review. But this radio is more enjoyable than any realy life radio I heard in my life

Other than the fact that one of these songs is certainly not country, I really like this station. Unlike the rock station, the tracks work together nicely and form good ambience for your city when it is in its smaller stages or if you're big in farms and country looks.

don't be turned off by it being "country" road radio. There's elements of country music, but it's not kenny chesney or whatever. good vibes, especially for when your town is still just taking off :)

A very enjoyable and relaxing radio . Tune it up when creating parks, doing the small improvements in your city in you'll sure find yourselves in a dreamy state.

I don't listen to a ton of country music, or write a lot of reviews, but this is well deserved. There aren't a ton of tracks ( https://skylines.paradoxwikis.com/Country_Road_Radio ), but they're all great. Really makes you wanna to create n old timey farmin town.

Picked this up cause it was on sale. I didn't think I'd like it very much but got it anyway for completions sake.

I LOVE this radio station!

Pitchfork Blue - Downstream is such a soothing track

As a country music fan I do enjoy the radio very much. It has good quality tracks and gives a lovely vibe when playing CS.

Not bad but you can do a lot better on spotify (or whatever else) compiling a playlist of classic country and those modern country artists that are 'outlaws' (as in, not pop country). Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, James Carothers, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Colter Wall, Tyler Childers, Hank Williams, Hank Williams Jr, Buck Owens, David Allan Coe, and more.

And of course there's plenty of bluegrass, Appalacian, and old time type music from artists like Tim Eriksen, Anna and Elizabeth, The Dead South, Rhonda Vincent, Lonesome River Band, Balsam Range, Nothin' Fancy, etc.

Jokes aside, it's decent if you're into this sort of thing.

Great, though not a single radio channel can prove to be 'enough' for Cities Skylines. You won't be impressed by any of the actually wonderful music and I promise, there will be a perpetual thought lingering in your mind like a devil that won't be banished: 'Why! It's playing the same song AGAIN!'

Doesnt sound like "normal" country music at all but it's still my absolute favourite radio station DLC

The Country Road Radio adds a bunch of new country themed songs. The songs aren't like other country songs but they still have that country flair to it. The songs have a little bit of hipster in them which is not what i wanted but it's ok. Some of the songs are really good and definitely can sing along to.

Great DLC, would recommend. Yes it costs $4 ($2.20 in my steam region) but the music are just really pleasant to listen to.

Okay, I feel bad downvoting this. If you like country music, this is probably great. I don't. I hate it. So I have to give it a thumbs down. However, I do think it's not entirely fair for me to pass judgement on this radio station since I just hate this genre in general. As with all the stations, you also have the annoying "adverts" that, while initially funny, become repetitive and annoying. They are the same ones on all the stations, so they don't even change with each station you buy.

Absolutely brilliant, very relaxing. My favourite song's Pitchfork Blue - Cross the river, it fits perfectly well a relaxing C:S session when you want to relax and do something you enjoy.

Totally worth the 4$!! There are some pretty awesome songs in this DLC!
My favorite is definitly "A Better Man" by King's Road

----WARNING----
Don't buy if:
1- You don't like country, folk or bluegrass music.
2- You expect "Country Roads" by John Denver

That being said. It's a must for me!

I have bought this one and Parklife together in a combo. I always think that DLCs of radios are not worth the price but it was just a little more money so I got this one. I really loved, it's really relaxing and I loved the vibe. It was all made for the game, I was searching for the bands and they are ghost bands, I got a little disappointed about the few information on internet I found, but anyway, congratulations for Paradox for this beauty selection.

(Análise em PT-Brasil)
Eu comprei esta DLC juntamente com Parklife. Eu sempre acho que DLCs de rádio não valem o preço, mas como foi só um pouco mais caro, decidi comprar esta. Eu amei, bem relaxante e amei a vibe. Foi tudo feito para o jogo, procurei mais informações sobre as bandas, mas são bandas fantasmas. Fiquei desapontado pela pouca informação que achei na internet, mas de qualquer forma, parabéns para Paradox pela bela seleção.

First radio DLC I bought and it is now the only one I listen to. Never gets old even hours and hours into gameplay. I do wish there were a couple more songs but owell! Worth the money for sure.

I bought 5 radio stations for this game (during a sale)- Country Road, All that Jazz, Deep Focus, Synthetic Dawn and Downtown Radio.

Country Road is by far the best of all those - no comparison, in my opinion. The music fits the game perfectly, and it's wonderfully satisfying to look down on your free-flowing, (apparently) well-designed city with these mellow tunes playing.

I don't even listen to the others anymore.

If you were the type who played Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, but still listened to K-ROSE even though you didn't like country music, this will be kind of the same thing. The songs are delightful ear worms, and provide great atmosphere, especially when your town is still small.

Great pack to make the hours pass. Easy to listen to over and over, which you will and some good laughs as well. A really well done adder to Cities

Kind of don't know how this got downloaded. Didn't even know it exits. I have no use for it. I thought it might of been a cruel joke cause I'm deaf. It been in my Library for awhile. It showed up when I purchase Parklife back in 2018. Guessing it was part of that package.

Was excited for the Country Roads DLC to get some country music in the game when building small towns... Except this isn't country. [Edit: okay, some of it is country - so that makes it more worth it... But the CA pop-music in there is jarring when I'm listening to a country station, y'know?)

If you're a real country fan, be warned this includes "California urban country" music - nasal singing, "oah-oh" kind of lyrics rather than anything close to Reba, Garth Brooks, Linda Rondstadt, or anything remotely "country".

Edit edit: I did find a radio mod that lets you pick songs that play/do not play however... So vanilla I would not recommend this one, but if you have that mod - then it's more worth it!

I love Cities:Skylines, and I love the rock station & most of the radio stations! Just not this one as a country fan who hates the "wannabe pop" country style music. Needs more Merle Haggard or Hank Williams Jr. and less Los Angeles.

A very pleasant set of songs. Not fully country. No Johnny Cash, John Denver, or Tim McGraw. And more folk pop than anything. But it's still worth the money for a refreshing listen.

Country Road Radio is basicly a relaxing radio station if oyu just want to have a Wild West vibe and also it just feels so good, Even though my favorite radio station is Offical Mars Radio (Vanilla) This would be my 2nd favorite.
