I won't ever recommend this as a first dlc to the game, there are better packs that cost much less. For comparison, the late cretaceous, feathered dinosaur, marine reptile, and cretaceous predator packs cost 7.99 and add 4 dinos a piece. This dlc adds 5 for 17.99. It also adds some jeep skins (that you likely won't see or care about) and it adds some building signs (which should have been in the base game, like a couple building signs?!?!?!? Such a lame piece of dlc content.) The new species are pretty mediocre, like they're cool and all, but they don't compete with most of the other packs and the Biosyn Expansion. Get this expansion if you already love the game, you've bought other essentials first, and you want to support the developers, otherwise don't bother.

Not worth buying on its own unless it's on sale, just buy the deluxe edition of the game if you want these.
The selection is mostly good, but the huayangosaurus is a weird edition being a returning species even if it was changed. Rest of the species selection is good and the vehicles are cool to have.

Five dinosaurs, and a few vehicle skins. The main thing that rubbed me the wrong way was that Huayangosaurus was in the base game of JWE 1. Aside from that, these are all incredible dinosaurs that flesh out the roster! I think this is an easy recommendation, as long as it is on sale. $18 USD seems a bit crazy for this type of DLC, however it is only $10 if you are buying it bundled with the full game. I'd say if you're getting it for $10 or less it is a worthwhile buy!

I honestly have been looking for a good dinosaur game and i think i found it Its very fun i only got it bc of the winter sale and thought meh it wont be that good but oh it is great very good gameplay and good graphics Tho i never played JWE1 Its still great

The megalosaurus, geosternbergia and attenbouroughsaurus are medium quality dinosaurs. The huayangasaurus is a rip off seriously exchange it for something better. The pachirhinosaurus is a must have walking with dinos on disney.

This one is interesting, if I'm honest. The only thing I can knock against this pack is the Huayangosaurus, which was included in the first game. The exclusion of the ONLY missing non-hybrid species from the original Jurassic World Evolution in the sequel's base game, only to include it in an $18USD DLC... It doesn't sit right with me. Now, that's one dinosaur out of three, plus a marine reptile and flying reptile. Megalosaurus (One of the first dinosaurs ever discovered, alongside the likes of Iguanodon), is the weakest link here, not counting the aforementioned Huayangosaurus. It looks almost nothing like the real thing, which at this point, is to be expected from Jurassic World, unfortunately. Now, Geosternbergia, Pachyrhinosaurus, and Attenborosaurus are EXCELLENT, with Pachyrhinosaurus having been originally planned in place of Sinoceratops in Fallen Kingdon, and Geosternbergia cut from The Lost World, we finally have more soft-cannon species. Attenborosaurus is no doubt one of the best marine species, and THE BEST plesiosaur. On top of all of that, you get some pretty neat vehicle skins. I'd highly recommend picking this one up, just maybe in a sale. $18USD for five species and three vehicle skins is not great, but it does go on sale for much, much cheaper around the summer and winter sales.

Why is Huayangosaurus in this pack? While the rest of the selection is really good, please don't buy this pack at full price. The average species pack is 8 USD so paying 18 for the same amount of dinosaurs plus a returning one (when every other returning one is in the base game) is absurd.

This DLC is too expensive.
Megalosaurus - Has the same behaviours as Allosaurus, a budget version if you will.
Pachyrhinosaurus - Only Ceratopsid in the game that has a bulge instead of horns to defend itself
Attenborosaurus - Most cost effective Marine Reptile in the game, high appeal to cost ratio, probably main reason you buy this DLC
Huayangosaurus - Only dino from the previous game that has to be bought as DLC
Geosternbergia - nothing special

This is an Insane DLC, BUUUT not Biosyn level of Insane. Okay my Favorite Dinosaur from this is the Megalo. And it (almost in my opinion) doesnt need any Changes. I find this DLC Almost perfect for what its supposed to be, Although it would be nice if they could add some behavioral updates for this DLC. An example is sauropods fighting back in someway Instead of being a huge living chunk of meat for carnivores like Giganotasaurus. Thats all I really have to say. Most of these DLCs in my opinion always have room for some form of improvement. I say most cuz the Biosyn DLC isnt the only Dominion DLC for this game.

The five species is nice, but Huyangosaurus being resold feels like mockery. The price is also extremely high for such little content. I only recommend it on initial purchase so you avoid extra pricing later on, just out of obligation.

Personally I would get it on sale I don't think it's worth the $18 (minus tax) I do think it is still awesome just not worth 18 bucks

I got this pack together with my pre-order and to be fair for a standalone pack... it's not worth it's price. The creatures and vehicle skins it adds are very pretty, however I suggest getting this pack on a sale.

I really like this game. It is fun, and even more fun to kill everyone in your amazing, 5 star park. The campaign and Chaos Theory modes are very, very fun as well.

in this DLC i its bad for me because the new dinosaurs looks rare like some dumb (its my opinion) this DLC contains only new dinosaurs and a skin for the guard team (the car and the helicopter) so in my recommendation dont buy it

Terrordactyl

Definitly worth its money, they really put a lot more thought into the creature designs then in the originale game.

I am enjoying my time with this game so far. The main story of the game was more akin to a tutorial of all of the systems as opposed to an actual campaign mode. Chaos Theory seems to be the actual campaign mode (That was in the first game at least). I did notice that there are quite a few complaints regarding dinos locked behind DLC, objectively this is true. The Deluxe Version of the game did indeed come with 5 additional species, there are still ample species to fill your parks without the ones in that pack. People acting like they locked the T-Rex and Raptor behind a paywall. Game does have some graphical bugs which I come to expect at launch but other than that I haven't experienced any game breaking issues. A few things I dislike with all of my heart, the added micromanagement of fueling your generators and overabundance of tedium that comes with dealing with sick/injured dinos is annoying. Also the sabotage system needs to go. With that said majority of my time has been enjoyed and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface. Excited to see how Frontier updates this game moving forward.

I love the new dinos and the skins are nice, but really? Just in sandbox and challenge modes? $18 isn't cheap either. If you're debating this at all, just buy the deluxe version of the game instead.

I have loved playing this game. One thing that was annoying me after I completed the last challenge mode it still said 75%. I checked someone else who did it on youtube and it was the same for them... is this a bug?

I didn't realize the deluxe upgrade was 20 dollars (CAD). I got the deluxe version of the game cause it was the same price as most base games, new ones. So it was nice to see a new game retail at 69 dollars instead of 79 dollars. Lol. The dinos are pretty cool, and honestly the vehicle skins are pretty cool. So I suppose I like the deluxe upgrade.

Zalabar
Zalabar

The pricing on this seem really off as it was only $10 more than buying the base game. The dinosaurs are great additions however, and I'd advise you pick it up if it falls back into that $10 range on sale.

Mecha

The absolute fact Frontier thought adding some signs and 3 vehicle skins warranted an increase of 6 bucks over the previous game's deluxe upgrade is baffling to me,
sure the vehicle skins are nice and reference the lore but still... 6 bucks..

On the bright side, at least most of the animals in this pack offer something to the table, I don't really dislike any of them.

Megalosaurus is nice but it reuses Metriacanthosaur sounds and is missing its yellow pattern from the promo image.

Pachyrhinosaurus has some amazing skins but it's way too small.

Attenborosaurus is precious, seriously one of the best creatures in the entire game,
worth it for the model and sound design alone.
only nitpick I could have about it is that its promo pattern looks better then the in-game one.

Geosternbergia is a nice counterpart to the Pteranodon and just generally has nice skins.

And now we get to the idiotic inclusion of Huayangosaurus...
a Dinosaur that was in the base game of Jurassic World Evolution 1...

If we ignore the fact they are reselling an old dinosaur and still ask for more money,
I'd say Huayango is still pretty good, but it sadly lacks the cute hop it did in the first game.

In conclusion:
Get it when it's on sale or when you pre-ordered the deluxe edition.

(Buy it for Attenborosaurus though)

I’ll keep this quick. If you buy this with the base game for only the 10$ more then it is worth it because they are my favorite creatures in the entire game. But 18$ is way too much.

This deluxe edition feels disgraceful even compared to Evolution 1's deluxe edition. There are two main reasons for this. One, the recycling of a dinosaur from Evolution 1 into this content pack (the Huayangosaurus). As a side note, the other species are at least new and relatively well done. Two, the sold separately price point. The deluxe content for Evolution 2 is almost $20 on it's own, roughly a third of the cost of the base game. Suffice it to say, do not buy this separately. You will be wasting money if you do. I recommend that if you are going to get it, than get it with the base game to lower the overall price. Please take my advice, do not buy this separately. Save yourself a bit of money.

P.S. To clarify, what I was trying to say is do not buy this separately from the base game because its a waste of money doing so and because the almost $20 price separately, particularly when you consider there is partially recycled content, is not worth it. Also, when I called this deluxe edition disgraceful compared to Evolution 1, I was referring to the high separate price and the unsettling practice of recycling content from Evolution 1 into this "additional content pack". Overall, if the price were slightly more reasonable and Huayangosaurus was in the base game and replaced with something else here, it wouldn't be too bad. Truthfully, I'm mostly neutral except for those two or three sticking points. Don't entirely understand the intent behind a few of the awards to this review, but I hope this additional information clarifies things a bit.

I pre-ordered JWE2 For this content, and I'd say the extra variety in animals is nice. The extra content is also alright, but honestly not what youll be buying the pack for since the DPG vehicles are a bit single use, and the extra amenities stuff is just mediocre at best.

The Animals you get in this pack are alright and help bring some fan-favorites to the roster.

The Megalosaurus is a great nod to the origin of Paleontology. Its got some neat colorations, and sounds quite intimidating.

The Pachyrhinosaurus is marvelous. My favorite ceratopsid is one of the best animals in the game as far as Im concerned.

The Attenborosaurus is sort of underwhelming, but charming. More natural than the batshit insane Elasmosaurus, and a nice nod to David Attenborough, the brother of the late Richard Attenborough who played John Hammond.

The Geosternbergia is a nice stand in for the pug-ugly Pteranodon, and is the species shown at the end of the Lost World. Inoffensive, and quite nice on the eyes.

Huayangosaurus is here because it was a fan favorite in the first game. It shouldnt have been gated off by this pack.

In total, I dont think the extra content and animals really warrants this price, as its nearly double the price of the first real DLC. Wait for a Sale.

this dlc is epic i know theres a lot of people angry at the fact that Huayangosaurus is in this and not free but for all those people think about ALL the dinosaurs that were dlcs in evolution 1 that arent now also i think they kinda made the Huayangosaurus more realalistic but making it smaller for example of some of the dinos that were dlcs that now arent is nigersaurus i think thats how you spell it and also dryo and majungasaurus and you cant forget about herradontosaurus and suchimimus and i think like a ton more

The Great Linguini

If you like the game, you might as well pick this up.

Geosternbergia is really cool, with lots of colorful, fancy crest options.
Attenborosaurus is, in my opinion, probably the best designed aquatic in the game--and it's one you can keep in numbers!
Pachyrhinosaurus is a nice, classic dino with some neat crest options, though it isn't my go-to ceratopsid.
Megalosaurus is neat, but not drastically different from others of its type. It does have decent stats and can be a good number booster though if you have it.
And, finally, Huayangosaurus...well, I love this JWE dino, but I don't know why it was placed in this pack. Something new probably should have taken its spot, but oh well...It has some of my favorite skin patterns for a stegosaurid.

Oh yeah, there's also some vehicle skins and stuff, but I don't think I ever even look at that menu. It's a neat feature, though if you want to specifically build a park around the DPG being involved...but, again, I hardly ever change any vehicle skins...

A cool pack to get some more variety in your park and hear some new voicelines, etc. Work picking up, especially on sale!

Nearly $17 is far too expensive, this doesn't feature much more content than the Early Cretaceous Pack for the same game and yet it's $10 more, it's even more expensive than the JW Camp Cretaceous DLC and that has more content, wait for a sale to buy this pack after buying the main game by itself.
