Although loads of people don't like that clone wars and rebels are included in this dlc,it is still an amazing add on to one of the best star wars games to date. There will be future dlc for this game most likely including rebels and clone wars so don't fret lmao. Also this is what makes the game 10 times better than it already is
suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Character Collection 1 - A Galaxy of Variety in LEGO Form
LEGO® Star Wars™: The Skywalker Saga Character Collection 1 invites players to expand their roster with seven character packs, each featuring iconic Star Wars™ characters from various corners of the galaxy. This comprehensive DLC collection includes characters from The Mandalorian Seasons 1 and 2, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Classic Characters, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and the Trooper Pack. Here's a review of what this character-packed DLC brings to the LEGO Star Wars universe.
Pros:
Diverse Character Selection:
Character Collection 1 boasts an extensive selection of characters spanning different Star Wars eras and media. From the beloved characters of The Mandalorian to the iconic figures from Rogue One and the classic minifigure designs, the DLC offers a diverse and engaging lineup.
Comprehensive Content Inclusion:
This DLC serves as an all-encompassing package, incorporating various character packs into a single collection. Players who acquire Character Collection 1 gain access to The Mandalorian Season 1, The Mandalorian Season 2, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Classic Characters, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and the Trooper Pack, ensuring a well-rounded and complete LEGO Star Wars experience.
Free Inclusion in Deluxe Edition:
For players who have purchased the Deluxe Edition of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, this DLC is included for free. It adds substantial value to the Deluxe Edition, offering a diverse array of characters without an additional cost.
Cons:
Missing Clone Wars and Rebels Representation:
One notable drawback is the absence of character packs based on The Clone Wars and Rebels animated series. Given the vastness of the Star Wars universe, the exclusion of characters from these popular series may disappoint fans who were expecting a more comprehensive representation of characters.
Conclusion:
LEGO® Star Wars™: The Skywalker Saga Character Collection 1 is a commendable addition to the LEGO Star Wars universe, offering players an extensive and varied selection of characters from different Star Wars media. The inclusion of character packs from The Mandalorian, Rogue One, Classic Characters, Solo, The Bad Batch, and the Trooper Pack ensures a diverse and engaging experience. While the absence of characters from The Clone Wars and Rebels may be disappointing, the overall content and free inclusion in the Deluxe Edition make this DLC a valuable addition for LEGO Star Wars enthusiasts. As players embark on their brick-built Star Wars adventures, Character Collection 1 provides an enhanced and comprehensive roster to explore the galaxy far, far away.
The Silenzeio guide to: Lego DLC
I would make an actual review of what this collection entails and if it's worth the price vs getting them individually or such but since there's a pack that combines this and Collection 2... Why would you get this? Aside from purchasing the deluxe edition of Skywalker Saga before the release of the "Galactic Edition".
In any case, you get the following character bundles in Collection 1.
Mandalorian S1/2
Rogue One
Classic Characters
Solo
Bad Batch
Trooper Pack
But again, since you can just go out and buy the Collection 1 + 2, this is just not worth it.
This collection gives you all the DLC character packs in this game. Lots of cool stuff in here; such as Mandalorian characters, Classic characters, Rogue one characters, and more! Plus the base game is just super fun, having these character bundles makes the game more vast in content. Recommend for sure!
This DLC pack includes all other character packs, so if you want to get them all (and didn't buy the Deluxe Edition for whatever reason), this is the way to go. And honestly, it's LEGO Star Wars, more characters are always welcome, as it's great to have some variety.
Still, I'd use this opportunity to express my disappointment at the lack of character packs based on The Clone Wars and Rebels. With this game being THE ultimate LEGO Star Wars game, they should've taken the opportunity to go all out with character packs and DLCs, but here's hoping they return to the franchise in the future.
I recommend this DLC.
Very nice game i was very pleased.
Double the characters, double the fall
Worth the extra $10, these packs are great and I am excited for the new ones to come
I hope rogue one, mando season 2, and bad batch have voiced characters, otherwise I wouldn't recommend getting this. Aside from the classic characters, no one has dialogue and it makes them very boring and generic.
Having trouble getting mine to work. The Mandalorian Season 1 And Solo: A Star Wars Story are showing up. It is saying this one is in my library. And if I go to purchase this it wont let me because it says I already own it. Any help would be appreciated.
no one can stop me from playing through the whole game as a death trooper
Although loads of people don't like that clone wars and rebels are included in this dlc,it is still an amazing add on to one of the best star wars games to date. There will be future dlc for this game most likely including rebels and clone wars so don't fret lmao. Also this is what makes the game 10 times better than it already is
this DLC pack won't download at all. The other ones do fine
No levels and the characters aren't even voiced
Very nice pack included in the deluxe edition for 33% cheaper. Worth the money for grogu alone but hey you get more than that!
Edit: Wow. Valid criticism gets some shiny awards, thank you for the steam points, you clowns!
The Review:
-----------------
Characters like Mando+Baby Yoda companion, Ashoka Tano all have great looks and movesets. The Classic pack even uses the classic guns from the old games.
One bonus, using this at the start of your game unlocks them all immediately - so the second you're able to freeplay, you can get right to unlocking new areas/getting collectables sooner. Convenient.
A complaint I had with the base game is present in the DLC too - they kind of disappoint you with the voices.
Death Trooper doesn't have their iconic unintelligable voice. The Mandalorian doesn't sound like The Mandalorian etc. Most characters don't even have voice over. The entire Bad Batch DLC doesn't have voices.
Sadly there's no playable Baby Yoda either.
Overall, the recommendation depends completely upon how much you like ALL of these characters as they're sold in cheaper, individual packs. That's how I should've went about the DLC because the Mando packs where the best for me.
I'm not recommending this because the above reasons and the fact that there's 300+ characters in the base game already that are more useful, higher quality and more beloved.
this is the droid we've been looking for!
Got the deluxe edition and have received the other bundles in game but not this one even though they all show up in my steam library. Anybody know why?
elden ring and now this.. finally some finished, perfect games.
only downside is the bad batch isnt functioning for it rn TT
Should have been a free unlockable in my opinion.

10/10 pumped for the upcoming DLC's
Buy the Deluxe Edition instead, it's cheaper
It’s fun! And a pretty good dlc for what you get.
i love lego games!!!! this one is sooo good!!!
Its a cool pack but i wouldnt say its worth 15 euro. Only buy this if you are buying deluxe edition or if you are a collecter
Like this game, especially the gamepaly and the character Collection. And it`s my childhood.
buy the deluxe edition instead
ONE OF THE BEST LEGO GAMES IVE PLAYED IN A LONG TIME
You know when I was a kid these used to come standard
DEFINITELY worth it if you like the game and the characters (why would you not)
didn't get the trooper pack, even though it clearly states that it comes with it. My friend has it why do I not?
Edit: Resolved, certain dlcs come out at a later date
Day 1 dlc is number 1 bullshit
Very fun lego star wars game, I wasn't thinking I'd buy this but here we are and so far I've enjoyed it greatly.
don't get individually, get the deluxe edition.
also i find it funny how they put the "Grogu is a companion character." text there
suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
I love the game but my Character Pack DLC will not download
my pre order dlc missing 10/10 would star wars again
update, got it figured out, great pack.
Whilst the game is fantastic. The character packs are honestly pretty disappointing. They are what they say on the tin and nothing more. Buying the packs simply adds the characters to your game, no need to earn them and no missions associated. Most, if not all, of the characters are not even voiced. There are a couple of clever details, like the fact that Tusken Raiders do not attack the Mandalorian, but it feels like the developers weren't given any time / money to really sink some love into creating these characters. Why not have a short story sequence or even a unique area to go along with the characters, make them feel like they belong in this game? This makes the asking price feel steep.
I disabled them all until I had one of each character type because having early access to certain character types felt like pay to win / cheating somehow.
Honestly if you REALLY want a certain character, buy the individual pack at most but you really have to be motivated to use them since they don't specifically overlap with the story / missions any more than existing characters and in free play you're going to be constantly swapping characters anyway.
Great, but I can't download the trooper pack. Any help?
The thing I like most about the characters are the voice lines. These DLC characters don't have any so I find them boring and would not recommend them.
I made a huge mistake buying this. I know its my fault, but you only get for 15€ a couple of characters. When I baught this I thought this is a DLC with new Missions, but it is only some lame charecters. Not worth the money.
Misleading content. Does not come with all included until a certain date. Which it doesn't state.
None of these characters have voice lines, vehicles or levels, and the DLC doesn't even come with new character customiser parts because the base game doesn't have a character customiser. The LEGO DC Super-Villains season pass had more to offer and retailed at the same price as this character collection.
Wait for a discount if you really want this DLC. It can help you cut corners around character classes if you're starting a brand new save, but even then it's hard to justify the price tag. Overall, I don't recommend the character collection.
trooper pack doesnt work. can anybody help?
For the game, I would suggest the Deluxe Edition over the Regular Edition because of the Deluxe Edition having character packs. it is way cheaper to get deluxe instead of regular for not paying more for the game.
anyone know when the bad batch and mandorlian season 2 pack will be available
I have this and nothing has shown in my game, season 2, trooper, nothing. I understand some of the DLC comes out may 19th but nothing is showing. Ive already verified game cache too so idk.
I have the deluxe edition of the game, but I can't access the three character packs that were supposed to be released today (May 4th). Anyone know how to fix this issue?
ah yeah for some reason the bundle dose not include bad batch and the season 2 of mandalorian packs even though it says it does it doesnt.
mr white i need you to cook kyber brickamphetamine for los legos hermanos
its the character season pass pack thing, get it if you like funny lego ppl
Quite a bit of the characters are cool. Ahsoka, Mando, Moff Gideon, Krennic, and many more are great additions to the game. I am disappointed though the characters don't have voicelines. That extra step would have made this DLC much greater. It'd be cool to see interactions between Ahsoka and Anakin, or Bo-Katan and Maul. I'm also confused why the Clone Wars and Rebels didn't get any dlc characters, those shows are both great and have many great characters that could have been added. Other than that this collection is still decent. I wouldn't have paid the extra 5$ for getting it stand alone from the deluxe edition of the game, but for the 10$ extra I paid on top of the base game it was worth it.
Jokes aside, i don't feel it's worth $20 or even more because you're basically getting reskins, nothing unique, nothing that makes it different to anything else and with all the characters you have in the game you are not missing out at all and all base game characters are enough to keep you invested. They had the chance to give unique voicelines, abilities, literally anything to make it be worth the extra cash but sadly not.
If you REALLY REALLY...want this then atleast wait until it's on sale.
Getting Ahsoka is great, Bo-Katan is op (she can double jump and fly, this means you can skip most of the stacking challanges or only complete them half way). I like many of the characters that were added.
Still, I'm disappointed that they didn't even voice some key characters. Having a silent Mando just makes him feel shallow in comparison to e.g. Jango.
If I could give a thumb sideways, I would. Still, paying for just the characters, no missions no nothing, and not even getting voicelines feels cheap.
There are some really cool characters in this collection but they feel of lesser quality when compared to the characters of the base game. They all look great both visually and animation wise (albeit some animations are reused). That's all fine and dandy but none them have voice lines other than grunts and yells when attacking and getting damaged. Your experience of the Skywalker Saga will not be worse or better if you choose to skip out on this DLC. Especially, since it's only characters with no new stages or hub worlds.
It's great BUT there isn't anyone from ,"Star Wars:Rebels". Kinda the only reason I got it and was dissapointed because only The Ghost spaceship is playable... im hoping there is MORE in the future otherwise I kinda feel like I just wasted my money
The way to buy allo the character packs.
They are nice to have, but sadly it they do not add any new quests or story to the game.
