Solid RTS, like a Mix from Starcraft and Command and Conquer. Has a lot of potential.
Im looking forward for future updates and the multiplayer. The KI is very intelligent and is hard to beat - TRY IT!
Summary: A lot of potential and similarities with "Command and Conquer" and "Supreme Commander", the graphics are ok, no multiplayer for the moment, it lacks optimization and has some bugs, but if they add more stuff it will be a lot of fun. If you can afford it, buy it, help this game to mature as a good RTS.
At the time of this review the game was just released as early access 2 days ago, I played the demo first and as I saw potential I bought it.
The game clearly lacks a lot of content, but it already has some basic things, and the essence of the game I liked a lot, reminding me of Command and Conquer (as many say), but more than anything it reminded me of my hours and hours of Supreme Commander, a game I love and highly recommend.
For being made by such a small development team, the game is great and I hope they can keep improving it and adding content, since at the moment you can only play with 2 factions and in single player skirmishes against the AI, and a mode to resist waves. No multiplayer for the moment. I found 2 or 3 bugs but it is understandable for the magnitude of the project.
The game lacks optimization, playing in a 2vs2 game, when about 20 minutes have passed and there are many units in the game, the game begins to lose fps abruptly, and in some moments the units take about 5 seconds to respond to movement orders.
The above described happened to me with the graphics in "Very Low" and 1920x1080 resolution, and the RAM consumption of the game was around 11 GB. If I raised the graphic quality I saw that it even required 17 GB of RAM.
Here are my specs for reference:
OS: Windows 10 x64
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
Memory: 32 GB of RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1050ti (4GB of VRAM)
I send my best wishes to the development team so they can continue with the project, I can't wait to be able to play the full game!
