I'm sorry to say that this game didn't impress me particularly. It ran smoothly and bug-free, the characters were beautiful and detailed, puzzles were varied, not too easy, and not too hard. Unfortunately, the graphics were a mixed lot, some beautiful animals (bantak) but in other places, animals that looked like they had just been pasted onto the scene. (pterodactyl)
The story was weak, and the scenes hardly bore any relation to each other. The game didn't hang together as a whole, and failed to draw me in. Overall, the game gets a C, worth the price i paid for it but not more.

A pleasing, small game by a very small development team. The themes are meditative and the atmosphere is peaceful, with beautiful artwork. There were a few minor technical issues, but that is fairly normal for small indie projects. The challenges are varied and take place in a visually interesting world. There are spots where you have to place the cursor in exactly the right position to get the walking icon or the arrows that allow access to other screens. The dialogue is compact and easy to follow. You will need patience as the character walks slowly with no 'jump to screen exit' or 'dash' mode. This fits the feeling of the quest, and didn't bother me. I liked the character designs as well as the natural world and buildings. The puzzles are on the easy side for point and click games. The meditation puzzle was an interesting idea, I've never seen that done before. I'm glad I picked up this title, it was a bit different from anything else I've played and reminds me a little of the old Sierra games, like Quest for Glory. If you like the art style on the store page you will probably enjoy this short game.

A short but slow game. Abha has low resolution graphics, but I don't mind that, especially when technically it's done correctly: the game uses the monitor's native resolution and does proper pixel-scaling of the graphics to preserve the intended aesthetics. The puzzles are mostly very easy. There are some hints available but at least for me I usually figured out a future puzzle and its solution before I even knew of the hint's existence.

Sounds effects are scarce, but it fits the overall experience of the game. Music is okay.

The biggest problem of this game is the slowness. Not only does the slow pace become obvious right from the start with the walking speed, but when you get to have character interactions, you find out that you cannot skip through or in any way acknowledge the speech bubbles. What takes you a second or two to read, the game keeps on for 10 times that time before moving on to the next line in the conversation. This becomes quite a misleading experience even, when the character says something that you need to do next, but you have no idea how to do that. The correct way to do it is... wait for 20 seconds for the speech bubble to go away. Then you can finally have control back and can go do the task that would take a few seconds.

So, this artificial way of making the game timewise longer than it actually is, is the biggest negative. It took me less than 3 hours to go through the game twice. I guess it could easily be done in less than half an hour if the action speeds weren't deliberately made slow and some scenes unskippable.
