Great RC sim. $50 seems like a great deal compared to others.
I'm not big on nitpicking Physics, but they feel great/good enough.
Using an FrSky Horus X10 with the USB dongle and it works great (once you figure out the settings in the sim for it ;)
This is my first sim so my review will not be very technical. The graphics are very good and provides in my opinion a close to life like stimulation of heli flight. My crashes are definitely going down and know what to potentially expect when getting a heli into a hover and so forth. So if your are new to the hobby, I would recommend this flight sim to lower you potential for crashes on you heli actual. Also check out the YouTube vids from AccuRC...very helpful indeed.
Been trying different simulators and thought Realflight 9.5 was good until I came across this one. Its spot on with physics to where I feel like practicing actually will apply to real life. It works with both my spektrum and vbar control remotes. Could not ask for more as it also includes most of the latest models out on the market right now.
I clicked "yes" for "would you recommend" but ONLY if you're into helicopters and especially if you're looking to do 3D training. STAY AWAY from AccuRC if you're into planes (do yourself a favor and download PicaSim from the author's homepage) or quads (do youself a favor and get Drone Racing League or possibly now TRYP FPV). The cars are a joke as well. Having said all that, the heli physics are top notch and RF7/8, the Phoenix of olde, even XTR2 or aerofly can just pack up and go home as far as I'm concerned.
The simulator is very realistic, it is possible to try different combinations of electronics and settings, has excellent support from the developer. The selection of air craft is very good and current with very good physics.
I'm using a DX8 G2 with the Spektrum G2000 dongle on a Mac and it works just great!
Crashing every 5-10 min after changing models or loading new map.
Setting up my DX9 Several times, saving an export of the setup.
Sim crashes, load export but all controls has to be setup again.
its real and its very nice K you should try it
If you are looking at getting into the hobby of rc helis this is a must that will save you $$ in replacing parts in real life. It has helped me tremendously. Recommend using a transmitter for realism, theres a few videos that are helpful on setting everything up. One of the best sims out there!
At this pricetag I expected just a fun alternative to the popular simulators.
However, it turned out to be a very high quality sim that - for me atleast - has a lot of improvements comparted to Phoenix, RF, neXt and so on.
I have experience in all of the sims mentioned above and AccuRC is my favourite. When comparing reallife flightsessions to AccuRC the most outstanding thing to me is the insanely realistic behaviour and physics.
I really recommend this sim and to be honest at 1/5th of the cost of other sims you can't go wrong.
Great sim tool for learning RC helicopters.
Awesome product and essential to progress in the hobby.
works well in Linux. using a Taranis transmitter.
Used with my Spektrum DX8 and an Orange usb receiver this Sim works great, only problem I have is getting hold on the appropriate switch, but apart from that it feels good flying heli's in this sim.
Even the FPV is good in this too.
For sure the best sim for RC helis!
Graphics are very good for a sim. Physics are decent enough but not real enough. The customizability and wide range of helis is awesome and spot on. It is nice that this is VR supported, but my VIVE and rift dont have enough resolution. If you go a bit too far away in vr, it just becomes blurry but for close flying it is awesome. Feels like i am actually in the field. The sim is updated quite frequently and i recommend it over any CP heli simulator currently on the market.
Thi is the best helicopter simulator that i have used.
Models feel very close to my actual ones, graphics look good, will run even on intel graphics reasonably well. I learned to fly on it before taking off for the first time. I've been flying helis a while now but still practice on this days I can't fly or to practice things I'm not comfortable with yet and it's a real help
Great sim. The autorotations are so accurate.
ACCURC is the most accurate real to life simulator I've used. Well, I've only known there to be one, until I stumbled across ACCURC. The depth perception and graphics are spot on. When I'm on ACCURC, the only thing I'm missing is the fresh cut grass smell of the field. Great job on this one!! Would recommend to a friend.
This is probably the most responsive and realistic simulator I've tried to fly a Helicopter on. A lot of flying sites and good hi-res imaging.
Solid game. Took some time to synchronize my Spektrum DX6e transmitter with the game solely for r/c helicopter flight. I have a Blade Nano S2 and, from my limited experience, the game's physics and accuracy feel great. This game is much cheaper than Real Flight 9. I cannot compare the two as I have not played RF9. I have been having a difficult time programming my transmitter/syncing it with the game to fly any of the planes as I don't have any previous experience flying planes. I'm sure there are videos online.
Saved over $1000 in the first 3 minutes of playing. What game can you say that about?
Excellent RC helicopter simulator great for learning new manouvers
i would recommend for all rc heli pilots to use the simulator for practice. best value the money can buy.
amazing graphics, heli physics and sound looks very real.
A really great way to train for RC helicopter flying. With the wind set to a gentle breeze and light turbulence, it's very hard to forget for a moment that it's just a sim! The VR mode feels quite 'young' in its development but is especially powerful. It's a shame there isn't a little more variety in the models available as standard (only a handful of planes, for example), but for it's key strength - honest RC helicopter flying - it's exceptional.
On a fast PC with a good graphics card this is a great Heli trainer
It does what it says on the box. Heli's feel realistic, and very up to date on current models.
This is NOT a plane simulator... there are planes.. but.. meh... not so nice. The new coming version is supposed to sort that out.
If you fly RC helicopters you need this (not drones). It will save you many times more than the cost of the sim over the long time.
The Best RC Sim for RC Heli I ever had.
If you like flying 3D/RC and don't want to experience the sadness of destroying expensive helicopters, this is your best friend
very lifelike good physics, great model rendering
Seriously, this simulator is amazing.
Best sim ive tried so far. accurate and great feel
Great way to learn and practice during the winter.
easy to get going with my spektrum transmitter and dodgy banggood usb adapter. Feels realistic to me but i'm no expert. So much better value than the other options.
great sim and i used a dx8e with a ws2000
i also used, at first a ps4 controller and it actually worked well
If you compare this to drone sims like Liftoff then Its just a joke that costs 5 times more, but I guess Sim market isn't as big. It can be fun and you can learn new tricks there
THIS flight simulator does not work, after spending my time since purchasing trying to configure my tx with simulator, it is still not configured to my tx. The simulator keeps freezing and then crashes so i have to run the whole program again, that also takes a lifetime to load. I requested a refund from steam but was told that i played this for six hours, so i was outside steam refund policy time frame. I only purchased this six days ago which means i am inside steam fourteen day refund agreement. When i contacted steam about it i got a reply within half hour saying my request had been rejected, makes me wonder who reviewed my complaint.
this does not work with windows 10 and is a complete scam so please do not purchase it.
About as real as it gets without the presence of a physical heli.
its great the feel of the aircraft is great don't buy it for the cars tho lol if your looking for true scenery realism then go with real flight if looking for a real feeling helicopter this is the one for you
Its an incredible simulator. It runs better in windows than Mac X OS but it is amazing for RC helicopter users
I like everything about this Sim when it comes to the Helis, the planes don't feel accurate . The VR works well. I have been practising many new tricks on here before trying them out at the field. I own and tested on AccuRC2 a Goblin KSE700, KSE570 & 500 Sport, Align Trex 700, 600 and the OMP M2, all fly accurately as far as my fingers can tell.
Realistic sim, assisted actual flying a lot.
verry nice, hope up the new model
I fly real RC Helicopters and this sim just help on learning stick movement and muscle memory and it really flies
like the real RC counter part. I highly recommend this to new flyers specially if you are new to the RC helicopter group.
Love this! Use transmitter is a must.
Very good simulator! I use it for heli with Radiomaster TX16S
I do recommend AccuRC 2 the simulator feels quiet like the real thing. I fly a OMPHobby M2 and am relatively new to the RC hobby I find AccuRC 2 a great way to learn and improve my flying skills.
I think the selection of aircraft is large and varied I am looking forward to the M1 when available.
within 2 weeks of practice my ability has improved massively, whilst i'm still only using the hover practice mode nose-in/side-in my confidence in my ability has improved ten fold
if you do rc heli, this one is better than RF
Fantastic sim!!....seems very realistic and quite stable, there's lots of variation in the models and seems very similar to the real ones
very Realistic and prefer this over real flight!!!
Best sim for Helis!! I've got Real-Flight & Phoenix & this is a clear winner for helis only as planes atm are dreadful! Many controller options. I had no setting up to do with my Vbar controller. Love this sim & will save me $$$$ in costly repairs for all my Goblins.
I took the Rave ENV and with a few tweaks to pitch and rpm, slowing the simulation to 95% (Apple Mini M1) I got something that is pretty close to my real-world ENV. Very useful for basic orientation and skills practice. This simulator is great value - I use an old RealFlight Interlink Elite controller which does the job perfectly though I do hate the ratchet in the throttle.
Otherwise, I would recommend this simulator looking for something intuitive, capable and inexpensive.
After 4 hours of practice i learned to fly circle and eight both right way up and upside down. after 20 hours im doing ticktocs and practice doing it w piro and other fun stuff. 5/4 for me. sim doesn't help you doing setups so 1 point goes from that, had to learn by trying what works.
AMAZING GRAPHICS AND CONTROL OPTIONS
Very good simulator. I have not used a sim in over 5 years. This is way better than the previous available sims.
To date best most realistic feeling RC Flight Sim on the market. If you fly Helicopters this is the Sim for you. The other aircraft are flyable but the Helis rule this sim.
Very good Heli simulation especially for the money.
The demo runs fine on linux, but the full one does not even opens.
Realistic RC sim for helis, planes, and cars.
i like the sims physics, it feels good and fairly realistic, although the scenery's and flying fields are absolutely horrible. the depth perception is pretty much non-existent in pretty much every scene except for 1 field. aside from the maps being 100% cancer, this sim will do what its supposed to and teach the muscle memory you need to keep your real planes and helis in the air but overall i think i would recommend realflight 9.5 over this sim any day. its worth the extra money spent.
I love the detail of the helicopters in this game but maintaining orientation of one? Close to impossible in this simulator when more than 10 feet away from you. The zoom camera in this game is horrible. Zooms way too far in to where you can't see the ground until it's 5 feet from the heli. Smart cam is also horrible because once you take off, the heli becomes a tiny little spec even with a 700 size. This problem makes this simulator a horrible learning tool. Wish they could do something more like RealFlight's camera system because the heli's fly great, you just can't see them.
I have tried really hard to get on with this but have not enjoyed the experience. the only training tool is, sim speed. Which i haven't found to be that useful. its probably great if you can already fly and want to practice new tricks.
I bought this because it has the OMP M2 but i found it virtually impossible to use because it is modelled so small. i tried using the zoom feature but was told that i shouldn't. i was advised to fly closer, which is difficult when you are learning.
I was also told my 22 inch monitor was not good enough and was recommended to get a 34" high res. monitor with a high refresh rate. i had to use the largest size heli's but even then found that some level of zoom was needed.
lots of flyers seem to love it. I'll give it another go when i can fly better.
ive only played realflight other than accurc but i got to say the customization's this simulator has to offer trumps realflight i only wish i could import helicopters and planes im sure i can i just haven't figured it out
THIS IS THE BEST FLIGHT SIM EVER MADE VERY REAL AND YOU CAN ADJUST THE SIM TO THE DIFERENT SETTIINGS LOOKING AS REAL LIFE
very realistic to the models as well as very nice graphics.
This is all you need to practice flying RC.
Absolutely the best sim i've used yet! Very real feeling physics.
Great RC Heli SIM! I have used this, next, and phoenix and have to say this is one of my favorites.
best way to practice 3d heli skills without breaking thousands of dollars worth of equipment
i fly rc helis this simulator feels very similar to the real thing. if used just like the real thing it will help you alot
Very realistic Rc helicopter simulator - works like a dream with my Vbar control.
really accurate feel
although as someone who likes to switch models and customize said model and feel for for that model, it's painfully slow in comparison to something like neXt
but other than that, this is honestly the best learning experience for how heli's fly and how different parts and tuning will do to that experience, there's nothing quite like it
also AccuRC 3 when -
8.5/10
I like the realistic feel and reaction to my radio inputs. Gonna try and find a video of my radio DX8 to help set up th. hold and get it set properly in the flight modes. I would like to see some of the Blade line of Helicopters like the 330S
If you want to get into helicopters sim is a must. Good sim with lots of setup options.
Although the fixed wing side is still very much in development, the planes that are sorted so far feel super realistic. Great value compared to others, especially as you aren't tied in to a proprietory interface. I've been using an Xbox game pad with joysticks while I wait for my generic wireless dongle to arrive so that I can use my Tx.
had phoenix some time ago got accurc feels more realistic
Good physics heli feels like the real thing. AND, very affordable! Use your own transmitter, if you run OpenTX that is!!
most realistic feeling simulator out there
I have had this Software for now almost 1 and a half years.
AccurC 2, has been an essential purchase in order for me to learn how to fly RC helicopters.
This is an incredible flying simulation for Heli with so many configuration settings, its really amazing.
After lots of practicing on AccuRC 2 of some basic flying, i started flying my real little RC heli.
My goal with the software was to avoid crashes as much as possible, although you will crash many many 'MANY' many times. This software definitely has made me a better RC heli flyer. I now fly more the actual RC helicopter, but I still come back to play AccuRC 2 often, to practice more maneuvers which i still have lots to learn.
You can use your actual RC transmitter to play this game, by connecting it to the computer by USB.
This is one software i definitely recommend 100%, even if you already fly and RC heli.
This software i believe will help you, as it has helped me for sure. it is very realistic.
And you can use your computer mouse to zoom in and out, that will be a tip. : )
Have fun , safe flying and soft landings. : )
i feel like the selection of helis though i feel it lacks realism
This sim is one of the most lifelike software's I have used and I recently went to a wireless TX setup and was having trouble with calibration and channel assignments. I contacted support and received the most comprehensive assistance I have ever received in 20 years of R/C.
Pretty good for heli flyers. No recent updates.
Just a really bad purchase. 50 euros down the drain... I an not even bother to explain why...
So far so good, simulation feels really good and the graphics are nice too.
