A nice game with many of the great metroidvania aspects, in particular a good level design, great music, narration and general atmosphere. The game is unfortunately not well optimized. You cannot play without a graphic card (unlike hollow knight for instance, that one would expect more demanding) : I got to the point where fights become completely impossible due to slowness. Also do not expect elaborate fighting gameplay with many enemies combat pattern. The game interest is more in its platformer and exploration aspects.
Great art, love the music.
Nearly took me an hour to kill the 1st boss xD.
The 2nd one might take me 2 hours if 1st was this hard xD.
Is the Dogo your friend or is there a vicious beast lurking inside him!
Stay Tuned and find out.

In the Full release of the game ;p
I like it. I can see the effort put into it through the amount of details it has even though its still a work in progress.
Wow, all I can say is you're going to sink quite many hours into this game.
The music combined with the artwork gives it a really nostalgic feel, since it's still in early access I can't imagine how much more fun content that's going to be added in the future.
If you're looking for a fun new game to sink a lot of hours into I would recommend this game all day
The game looks promising!
Has great art and the music brings back some nostalgic memories. It would be more great if each place has its unique soundtrack ( if there is then i must be enjoying one too much that i didnt even notice xD).
looking forward for new things in the upcoming updates.
I have yet to finish all the content that seems to be available in this early access, but I already know this is right up my alley. It's like my two favorite indie games had a child: Hollow Knight and Undertale! Really can't wait to play more and see where this adventure takes us! Keep up the good work :)
it's an interesting game and dramatic in the story
I don't know how to express my pity for the main character
and my head is a bit dizzy thinking about the path that must be completed
and at the first saving place I fell many times
I don't know if it's a bug or how it works
I'm challenged with this game
interesting game the boss is really annoyiing but worth to kill
i kill him
ahahahaha!!!!
a game that makes your time pay off with adventure
and suddenly it's been almost 3 hours
too interesting to stop
I’d say it’s definitely not for everyone. It has this retro feeling of deliberately not wanting to hold your hand. You have to figure things out for yourself. No waypoint markers etc, just the game world, it’s inhabitants, and you the Player trying to make sense of it. It is also a bit unfair at times and will probably make some casuals quite salty on some precision platforming.
Personally, I love all this and I’m glad I’m supporting a game that seems to be made with the heart. Plus, the soundtrack and ambiance are beautiful and original.
Playing this in Early Access, it has some small bugs here and there and you should definitely play with a controller (keyboard is a bit clunky), but overall, it’s quite stable and I have yet to encounter anything game breaking.
Keep it up! :)
I have a hard time recommending the game in it's current state, the combat is janky, there's gamebreaking bugs, soft locks, and the placement of save points far and away from each other is just frustrating with the aforementioned combat and bugs.
Aeternum Vale is a game that cought me by suprise , i wasn't expecting this much from it at first but the game feels so smooth and natural, it has many game modes and missions that garantie many hours of game play , from fighting mushrooms to leveling up your character and getting new items .. i liked the fact that it had an inventory system.
the devs payed attention to small details and map drawing and that what made me enjoy even the little tasks of it.
the background music and sound effects are a great addition to the experience try to enjoy the small details and you will love the game.
Just started this game. Already loving the vibe!
I hope there's option to change the font to normal ones. The pixel font is a little hard to read for me. Also I prefer to move with left thumb stick instead of the D-pad.
