Fun and pretty basic RTS game that is simple to learn. I beat it pretty quick but that did not bother me as it was purchased at a discount. I would like to note this game seems to hold plenty of potential and would hope for further development such as new dinos, farming, new levels, new maps and perhaps as a wish, dynamic weather. Nonetheless I'm giving this game a thumbs up for those who like older RTS games like Age of Empires and such.

This is terrible. Graphics look like a mobile game. Balancing of units is terrible. Camera view point makes combat much more difficult than it should be. UI is shockingly bad. Genuinely can't think of single positive of this game.

I don't like how linear the progression is. I would like to see an large open-world version. Not my cup of tea, but I will up vote this, since Steam after decades still doesn't allow for more than like or dislike, because it is a somewhat solid game, and unique.

It's small, but nice. Feels a lot like RTS games from around the year 2000, and has a nice twist to it that as long as you don't approach your enemies (aka dinosaurs), they are docile, but once you start attacking they proliferate, with every attack spawning another nest. And since you can't progress without at least attacking one nest, this quickly can cause them to overrun your base before you even manage to research archers/warriors. So, a cautious approach is advised, but once you gain the upper hand and don't back down again, victory is almost inevitable.
That being said, it's a bit repetitive. You start out on your corner of the island, gather resources, kill a couple of small dinos, research with the gained skins/leather some hardier soldiers and then push through the island, cleansing it from reptiles, win - rinse and repeat with more/harder dinos on a new island. So yes, this is a somehow cheap recommendation of the game, because I hope it gets a bit more love in the level design, custom maps/map generator, bit better UI/controls (currently multiple units can't be selected if one starts the selection square on another unit/building/tree...) and stuff like that. I'd say it has potential. And even if it'd end up abandoned now, it still can provide a couple of hours of fun.

Oh, and no bugs encountered. Nice change from other games these days.

Game should be around its first phase, cus it's entertaining and boring at the same time.

The bug that I find extremely annoying is, once villagers become idle(around 5~15 or more), the game will lag so much you won't even be able to move(close to the end of the game).

Lack of interface is bearable, just that, when attacking, this game becomes too stagnant that it annoys you. You need to click all of your troops and make it attack or wait for enemies to attack it.
-----If you attack it once, it will kill all those around it, but not those about a few cm away, Also, being attacked by monsters will only attract that troop's agro, not the ones around it, so yeah, you need to put your troops into groups, like group 1 attack this, group 2 attack this, group 3 attack this, etc.
Then you'll have to go back to group one and so on, cus if you don't they'll be useless and die meaninglessly.

I was expecting "Attack move" or "Hold button" or "Patrol" but meh, it's all just playing with your mouse's left click. The use of QWEASD is also too much in need in this game.

Well, I still highly recommend it, quite a good pass time. I'll try to play a few more minutes or hours before uninstalling it.

EDIT: This game has no option inside the game as well, so just bear with it.

(UPDATED: 05/27/22) - Active Dev, New Update(s), Excellent Game - Gotta say this game is very cool, love the mechanics & game play, def. looking forward to more islands to play, and the possibility of an added easy, medium, hard style difficulty to each island would be a nice addition in my opinion. Gotta say this game is very relaxing and enjoyable for real, with the added soothing music, yet has a level of strategy to make you plan out what your doing, highly recommend, and would say from my play time it has at least 20+ hours of game play at its current stage, and the dev even added a section to try out the unlocked dinos and people to test out scenarios and such to help you find the best strategy when beating the islands. Totally worth it, especially when on sale.
