A quite beautiful patchwork-quilt designed game to inspire you or just when you want to relax for a little.

Inside Alice's Patchwork, you have several worlds filled with many puzzles where the goal is to put together an image piece by piece. You earn hints if you get stuck over time, but they do cost you gold to use (a whopping 5,000)!

The art and design is very pretty and entertaining, though it is a little annoying to be just *slightly* off and it counts against you... There are 3 goals to complete inside each puzzle for a perfect score: time limit, no mistakes and completion itself. You are able to turn off the time by going into settings and selecting a relaxed mode (I played this version without realizing).

I do recommend this to anyone who loves puzzles and doesn't want to deal with anything super complex. It does require a good amount of replaying to get the achievements - especially if you did the relaxed version - you will not have enough coins for the 1,000,00,000 one.

Well ofc it's a great game with it's unique visuals and music choice but it rather gets repetitive real quick and boring at the same time. I would rather prefer buying a real puzzle and try to make it instead.

Get off from your desks folks there is a whole world out there.

Six worlds of beautiful mosaics with Alice and other famous characters of Wonderland and Looking-Glass Land. You have to assemble the uneven mosaic tiles to solve the puzzle. If you are able to solve the puzzle within a limited time and without any mistakes, you will get all three keys and some coins. Collect as many keys as you can to unlock a new world.

If you have an excellent memory, you probably only have to play the level once or else you have to play multiple times to memorise the placement of the tiles so you can reduce spending coins to buy a hint. There is a free hint within a limited time, but if you wish to have more hints, either buy another one with the earned coins or wait for the next free hint after passing the limited time.

If you want to enjoy the game in a more reasonable logic, you can tweak the settings on the configuration file (there is a guide available). The default setting is quite challenging to finish the puzzle within the given time without any mistakes. Overall, the game has beautiful graphic and good music although the default time seems slightly over than a reasonable challenge.

I've nearly finished this one and my feelings on it are simple: if you want to play it for relaxation, it's an excellent puzzle game. If you lean more toward completionism and achievement hunting:

It comes with good achievements to get, but it's slow to get them. You will have to play most puzzles /at least/ twice - once to learn all the pieces and once more to meet the 0 mistake/time requirements. However, being quick enough means you are likely to slip up and place a piece slightly off at least once or twice when going for your 3-key score on each puzzle. If you do this, you have to start over to get your no-mistake key.

Fortunately, hints are free and penalty free with a cooldown of about 15 seconds or something, so if you get a set of pieces where none are connected to the ones on the board, it will show you exactly where one of them goes. I feel like that's pretty generous.

All in all, I've had an okay time playing this. Probably the problem for me is that I sat down to binge the game and it's a better game for people who want to do a few puzzles a day for a long time. I just don't like this game enough to want to draw it out that long - hence the binging. If you want a slow paced puzzle game, this is perfect for you.

P.S. If you want to buy this because you love Alice in Wonderland, I warn you that only about 20% of the images are Alice in Wonderland related. The other ones are kind of naturey or fairytailesque, but not Alice.

Good puzzles, with great tiling, and fair placement matching. Good amount of content.
The bad menuing, low variance generic music, and disableable time challenge are excusable.

When you start playing I highly recommend enabling relaxed mode to disable the time challenge. Instead of feeling rushed, essentially a bad experience, you can take a calm, chill approach to solving.

Only five pieces show for placement at a time. The random piece sets by nature sometimes leave you with impossible/unreasonable solvability/discoverability, but the great tiling design makes these occurrences rare, and the fair hint system saves you from remaining stuck or frustrated.

In the 3 hours I played so far I completed two of the six worlds Γ  20 puzzles.

+ great tiling design (how the pictures are split into pieces)
+ great picture/theme variance
+ good/great amount of content (6 x 20 puzzles)
+ fair/lenient correct-placement-identification
* shows 5 pieces for placement at a time
* fair help system; tells you where to put a piece on activation on a cooldown
* not much variance in music
- pretty bad menus
- puzzles are locked behind progressing through the puzzles in order and with arbitrary goals (solved, in time/in general in relaxed mode, with no mistake); and awful design decision

[i]list items with positives as +, neutrals as *, negatives as -[i]

For the low price in general and with discounts, I recommend it for jigsaw puzzle enjoyers.

I could get this game by 52 yen
And they made these arts, not sure how they made I wondered
I like like this kind of designs patchwork designs, because often cute
This game make me very irritated when I cannot fit the puzzles to anywhere
and I trying to get all the achievements too
so I have to feel irritated hard for it
but if they just want to play for relaxing and not care about get all the medals and so on, you might able to enjoy
Also not only for kiddos I am sure
This is for someone who has almost rotten brain that cannot works well one is good too
I cannot find like this kind of games that much on this terrible game store that full of hentai
so I am glad that they made like this game that I still able to play sometimes
If I could fit all the puzzles well soon, I feel good
But if I cannot, I really feel lfkjrhaioeojawklfewaoilfekjgbauefklja

I played from 2 actually, but now started play from 1
both are same system, and just the arts are different it seems
I think the arts are good and I like them, if they really think and make by themselves, I think it is a great job and I bought this game by 52 yen is a bit poor
though, I will get only cheap games mostly on sales
sorry, and thank you very muchos that created this game to the developpers and so on.

Obey the Fist!
Obey the Fist!

Alice's Patchwork is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs. The game is a basic jigsaw/stained glass filling game, where you "colour" various 2D paintings (patchwork/tapestries apparently, it really doesn't matter) by tapping on the matching parts on your iPhone screen. For some reason the developer decided to abuse Lewis Carrol's Alice in Wonderland, probably to help them scam PC gamers into buying mobile crap.

From a technical perspective, as a mobile app, this doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.

There's no options to change the resolution for the mobile app or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this mobile app is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this mobile app will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality mobile phone graphics.

The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here.

Because this is a mobile app, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the iPhones that the mobile app was designed for. These are unfortunate handicaps and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was an afterthought for the iPhone developers who are to blame for this. The mobile app is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for mobile phones forces upon a game. Once more, mobile devs have made gaming worse for everyone. I didn't spend thousands on building a gaming rig just so I could pretend it's an iPhone.

These technical defects push this mobile app below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.

You don't have to take my word about how bad the mobile app is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. Alice's Patchwork has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the mobile app absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for completing the first tutorial set of games, but only around 6 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the mobile app. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch.

Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this mobile app was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the mobile app. But this isn't consistent with the achievement stats, that show only 6 percent of players bothered playing the mobile app for any reasonable amount of time. How is it possible for this mobile app to have so many concurrent players who weren't even playing the mobile app? Trading cards. Players will use card idling software to collect the cards and sell them, but this won't trigger any achievements in-game. That tells us people only really bought this mobile app for trading cards, and that's a damning indictment of the woeful quality. A closer look at the numbers shows the mobile app just has a couple of players every week running up the mobile app and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.

Once more we see greedy mobile devs trying to scam PC gamers. On Steam, this is $5 USD, on app stores, it's free. Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here to be gouged, and can't be expected to pay a premium for a free mobile app just because it's been lazily dumped on Steam. This is unacceptable disrespect for PC gamers. Because this can be played free elsewhere, and because of the other defects, it's impossible to recommend. Who do they think we are?

This is a puzzle game where you need to complete all 120 puzzles within a specific time without making any mistakes. It takes about 25 hours to complete all the puzzles and unlock all the achievements. Personally I farmed some of the puzzles that were easier to complete to get enough coins for the achievement.

The puzzles are really beautiful and some of them are easier than others to complete. It is a fun game, however I did feel that it was too much of a grind closer to the end.

CountBubbleRat

A nice colourful game with lots of replay value.

To get three gold keys for each level you do need to beat a timer, and make no mistakes, but if you don't care about those little keys it can be very relaxing.

- No need to drag puzzle pieces. Single click to pick up a piece, and click again to drop it.
- Ability to pause the game and see the goals.
- Extra time can be bought with ingame coins.
- Hint button recharges on it's own, but can be instantly recharged with ingame coins.
- No glitches or technical difficulties (that I know of).

This is a jigsaw puzzle of very good quality. It plays smoothly, it looks great and the puzzles are quite addictive, in a good sense. Considering all that, I'll undoubtedly leave a positive review. Unfortunately, I'm still left with a bit of bad taste in my mouth, caused by stupid mobile mechanics like farming coins, playing against an impossible timer, buying extra time and hints, etc. If that crap got nuked, this game would be priceless.

What this game is:

A themed puzzle game

How does it work?

There are 120 coloured puzzles to solve. Each puzzle is made from an average of around 40 pieces. You will get a handful of pre-set pieces on each board, and it is up to you to complete the rest.

How does it perform?

Very easy to play. The game has two difficulty settings. You have a competitive setting with a timer, and you have a relaxing setting with no timer, allowing you to to play at leisure without any stress. You play mostly with your mouse. One playthrough will get you between 16 to 20 hours of play.

The good points:

Simple and inexpensive game. The cutout of pieces in some puzzles is creative and confusing, increasing play difficulty. Easy achievements to get, except the last two. There are Steam trading cards. Will run on a potato PC. Takes only 320 MB of space on your HD.

The bad points:

Playing movement is a bit fudgy which may become tiresome as it will put you out of position while placing a piece (creating a mistake, thus not allowing you an error free play). This also means placing pieces is a deliberate affair, so the game pacing is quite slow. Last two achievements are grindy. You will need to play the whole game almost twice in order to get to 1 million gold, which is not fun.

My take on this:

If you like a cheap and relaxing game, this is it. Buy this game when it is for sale, which happens from time to time. I wouldn't buy it at full price, but can recommend it when at a serious discount.

Game description said "120 unique patchwork mosaics", but it did not say that you have to have earned enough points or buy those points to continue (I can't start the 40th puzzle as of now). Since I already bought the game, why do I need to pay to play rest of the puzzles?

These puzzles are absolutely stunning with 120 puzzles to solve. The music is also a pleasure to listen to as well, while relaxing and doing the puzzles. If your going to play for a perfect 3 padlock score you will need to complete each puzzle with in a time frame and with no mistakes, you can use the potions in the top right hand corner which are "hints" to help you if needed, but you'll need to wait for them to recharge again for the next hint, or you can spend your gold from completing previous puzzles to help you through much faster, also you can buy more time as well when chasing the timed padlocks. You will earn the gold from completing the puzzles as you go, I have just been playing differant puzzles over and over to acumulate enough gold to progress.

The store page shares a bigger picture of the game very well. So if you love jigsaw puzzles, then this is a really nice puzzle game, and well worth the price or you can wait for a nice discount.

Game also has Achievements and Trading Cards.

I give it a 10/10

Relaxing Casual

I really enjoyed myself. The music is aswesome, the puzzles are numerous and clever and piecing together the picture until you finally see what it is always brought out the child in me.
"Ohh itΒ΄s a treasure chest! So awesome!"
Such a feeling comes with every level and really keeps you going. IΒ΄ve solved most of the puzzles and never got tired.

However, there were some points i disliked too, one being that the pictures are already revealed on the level selection screen which really kills the feeling of discovering what it is in the first place. I also didnΒ΄t like the time mechanic as i really donΒ΄t want to be stressed out by games that are supposed to be relaxing, but the game doesnΒ΄t foce you to do it in time, so i was fine with it, even though i could never shrug off that feeling of pressure until the time finally ran out.
The worst thing tho, is when the game only gives you pieces that donΒ΄t fit onto the ones you already have. ItΒ΄s rare but it happens and as someone who wanted to play without the hint function, it really killed my mood.

But after all, i think the game does a great job of giving you pieces you can figure out where to put.
And the level progression is also a thing to admire. You start off with basic mosaic pieces, then you go over to stitched pictures with rounder shapes to then go to pieces of paper, which mostly consist of even lines and edges, and so on.

If youΒ΄re looking for a relaxing game, i think you canΒ΄t go wrong with thisone...

Edit: As iΒ΄m approaching the end of the game i keep running into levels that donΒ΄t give you pieces that fit to the once already on the board. If this is deliberate, i think itΒ΄s a reeeally stupid choice. I wonΒ΄t finish the game because of it... I will keep this review as a recommendation as i had fun in the first 4 stages. However, if you are like me and want to atually finish games that you start, i canΒ΄t recommend this game to you...

Greetings fellow Steam user, let me tell you of this game.

It has everything a good little puzzle game needs, It's challenging but not too much, it's a pretty fair and you can activate Relaxed mode to take some of the challenge away from it, without Relaxed getting the maximum reward (Level unlock keys) per puzzle can be pretty damn hard, but then again it's not absolutely necessary to get every single key on every puzzle to unlock everything (Achievement unlocks excluded of course) you cannot unlock every achievement in the game with Relaxed mode activated at all times, for all you fellow HundoHunters out there.

The music is really nice and fits Alice in Wonderland perfectly, talking about Alice in Wonderland, this entire game is focused around that eh?

Well, the mosaic puzzle pictures are all related to it, if you are a fan of Alice in Wonderland this game is pretty good in that regard.

If you are like me, love Alice in Wonderland AND like puzzle games, this game is a must-buy for a mere 5€.

PS: Yes I am totally biased, but I did not get money for this review.

Love this - very relaxing. What I find important to remember is that it IS a puzzle - more than a jigsaw. Some one mentioned in the comments that often it gives you pieces that don't have an obvious fit. That is true - the only thing is, they probably DO fit somewhere it just isn't obvious. AND streight sides do NOT mean edge. So the challange is to find where they do fit. Every edge is unique, and sometimes you need to be able to see where the lines should go to find the right perfect fit.

This is a beautiful unique well-thought out game with lots of small but polished features such as each set is made from an different material (wood, cloth, metals, etc. ) there are different sounds to when the peice goes in for each set, and perspective is sometimes important in working out the puzzles. And very family friendly.

All in all a great little game.

Very nice jigsaw puzzles. Simple but great if that's what you're after. Plenty of puzzles are the difficulty climbs. There's also a hint system built in so you don't get stuck.

I can't say enough good about this game! I think any fan of jigsaw puzzles would agree that this is a very well-done puzzler.

The puzzles pictures have a beautiful quilt-like feel (hence the name of the game, of course). Graphically it's very pretty and the music fits very nicely.

There are a number of completion achievements that aren't difficult to get if you play through all of the puzzles.

The puzzles themselves range from easy to extremely difficult; you aren't provided with a guide picture but the game does place a small number of pieces on the board already to give you a starting point. Which pieces are placed appears to be random, as restarting the puzzle nets you a whole different starter set. This is nice to keep in mind if you have bad luck with which pieces are given at the start; you can always restart the level in the hopes of getting a better arrangement of pieces. There is also a handy hint button if you simply can't figure out what to do, although there is a recharge time.

I got something like 30 hours of playtime out of this game by the time I finished all of the puzzles, and then went back to complete them all again with a perfect score (that is, no mistakes and within the time limit). This feels like an immense amount of playtime for the price ($4.99) and well worth it, especially since jigsaw puzzles have (in my opinion) an inherent replayability.

100% recommended for jigsaw puzzle fans!

Alice's Patchwork is a jigsaw puzzle game. The puzzling in itself is not challenging at all. The game tries to make it challenging by means of a couple of mechanisms:

    β€’ implementing a timer
β€’ not showing the size of the pieces before you pick them up
β€’ only showing a couple of pieces at any given time

I don't like either of these mechanisms. Puzzling against a ticking clock is stressful. The fact that you only get to see the shape of a piece but not its size until you pick it up gets tedious and frustrating very quicly. Only getting to see a handful of the pieces at a time feels unnatural when it comes to jigsaw puzzling and seems like nothing more than a cheap way to make the game more difficult.

Also, but this is a matter of personal opinion, I didn't like the art style of the puzzles. The end result of solving a jigsaw puzzle should be a beautiful picture but in 'Alice's patchwork' the end result is just an ugly stain-glass window type of picture. Look at the screenshots to judge for yourself. And note there are only three screenshots of actual puzzles (the ones where you see three keys on the left hand side of the screen), the others are screenshots of menus and such, so the developers don't seem tot be all that keen on the art style of their puzzles either. I've never seen a game advertised with 3 screenshots of the actual game and 5 screenshots of the game's menus before.

The game has Steam Trading Cards and Steam Achievements but even for people who are very much into those things, I wouldn't recommend this game because there are plenty better games on Steam with cards and achievements.

To be honest, I had mixed feelings about this. When I bought it, I was excited, because I've played a similar game before and I thought it'd be fun. And it was. But it also got extremely challenging the further I got in the game. Especially the two last worlds made me want to tear my hair out. I had to retry over and over again... Admittedly, I aimed to get all keys in every stage and if I'd ignored that, maybe I wouldn't have been so frustrated. Despite that, I don't hate the game.

I liked how every world had different textures in puzzles. I actually didn't fully realize it immediately because I was in a hurry to beat the game. When I noticed, I could definitely appreciate the difference. Due to that, the art was nice to look at and really colorful.

There are two modes to play in and I chose relaxed. I'm glad there was a mode like that because if I don't have to play on a timed mode, I definitely won't. I can't say how the modes differ, but I'd say that they're both equally challenging, just in different ways.

All in all, I felt like this game dragged on a bit too long, but it didn't leave me a bad aftertaste after I finished.

At first I didn't like this game, mainly because I kept failing in getting 3 keys in a level. Pretty soon I realised that with each replay you get better and faster, and ended up playing several hours in my first session. You also get to keep all the money you've earned during the failed attempt and then use it to buy extra time on your next replay.

I think "earning money to buy extra time" is very good feature. Even if you're a complete moron, you can get 3 keys in all levels. Just grind for money and buy yourself some more time. The amount of grinding required is of course directly proportional to your level of moronness.

I recommend this, even if you're a moron.

I've spent more time on this game than I care to admit, but this is a unique approach on puzzle games. It's a very relaxing and "zen" type of experience that serves as a great way to pass some time.

There are 120 stages in all, with many "Alice in Wonderland" themed mosaics to complete. The puzzle scale up in difficulty but remain enjoyable. Think of assembling the mosaics as doing a jigsaw puzzle with no exact edge pieces. This game has you instead focus on the shapes of certain pieces and the the colors, which makes it very stimulating. It can also be very challenging to get the 100% rating on each level (complete it, complete within time limit, complete with no mistakes), but the game doesn't give you a penalty or make you feel bad if you do make a mistake or take a long time to complete it. You can always go back to play any puzzle you've already completed if you feel like re-attempting. There are also opportunities to use hints or add time to the clock to help you achieve your goals. You can keep re-attempting a puzzle as many times as you'd like to "practice" it, in order to make it easier with each attempt.

This is a very "friendly for all" type of game for the above reasons. If you are not a completionist or simply want to play at your own pace, you can do so without having any fun taken away from the game itself. If you want a bit more of a challenge, then you can try to perfect each level.

The only tedious thing about this is the 100,000 coins achievement - as I only ended up with just over 50,000 after I finished the game. There was no new puzzles for me to complete, so you sort of have to "grind" for the rest of the coins. The game features calm music (although it's only one song throughout), great variety, relatively easy achievements and cards. Would recommend to any puzzle lovers.

IFIYGD
IFIYGD

Another very chill and relaxing mosaic-jigsaw puzzle game.
Trying to complete each puzzle legit under the time limit does take time and practice, and playing some puzzles over and over and over, to learn the shapes and colors, and where they fit. There are "cheats" or built-in exploits in the game to let you get all achievements without pulling your hair out. Yes, I know them, yes I am using them, no mods needed, no cheat engine, just the use f [Alt]+[F4] to force close the game without saving progress, to give you a second, third, fourth or fifth try at a puzzle for beating the time limit legit.

You can aslo play through in Relaxed Mode, apparently, and still get all achievements, according to a few other reviews and a thread or 2 in the forums. Pesonally I enjoy trying to actually beat the clock, but I also know that if I complete a puzzle and fail to beat the timer, the achievement does become impossible without file and/or registry clearing and lateations. I prefer not to mess with files just for achievements, bu I have no problem with force closing without saving to give myself more tries. Up to you, your mileage may vary, widely.

Same as all othe mosaic-jigsaw puzzles, you re limited to 5 possible pieces o place in the selection table. The shapes are correct, but the scaling of the pieces do not become apparent until you select them to move them onto the board. It can be confusing if you are not used to these type of puzzles., or can't see how a shape fits into a hole at a dfferent scale. Not an issue for me, I enjoy puzzles, of all types.

My only gripe, and it is a tiny one, is that a good many of the images have little or absolutely nothing to do with Alice in Wonderland, or any well known fairy tale. Some just seem like pictures thrown in to pad playtime and add more puzzles to create more "content". A bit disappointed in how many I have come across that do not fit the theme given in the game's title and splash screen/trailer image, and I am just beyond halfway done, so I expect more.

Still, pleasant and aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and very calm and relaxing. Don't expect too much, and you wont be too disappointed. I do recomment waiting for a good sale on this before buying, since it is so similar to other mosaic-jigsaw puzzle games, and has nothing new, fresh or terribly special about it. Full price is not much, but you can find these kinds of games online for free, so, full price might feel "expensive" for what you are getting: Acheivements and low value Trading Cards.... Relatively easy 100% if you pay attention to the ticks you can use, but not quick, it will take some time, even in Relaxed Mode.

A fairly basic jigsaw puzzle game based around Alice in Wonderland.

Ultimately this game should probably be about half or even a third of its current length with all the time saved in making a huge number of levels put in to making better art, better piece selection, less stressful mechanics, etc.
The game becomes extremely grindy, especially if you want to get all the trophies. (One of which requires 1,000,000 points from a game that gives maybe a maximum of 4,000 points per level usually closer to 3,000...)

You might only play something like Glass Masquerade for a fraction of the time you could play this game, but its a joy to go through the whole game. This... sadly isnt.

It's a fun concept, nice pictures with different styles, nice music, takes time for the money...

Compared to Mosaics Galore 2 (go get that), this is clearly a negative experience.

The concept is simple. Take a picture, cut up, put some starting pieces on the board, offer five parts at a time that supposedly connect to them. Make it random for replayability. Hand out some petty cash for completing a level, so that when the player gets stuck, it can be spent on a powerup: hint or extra time.

Now, this game is slightly overtuned and it didn't scale well.

The time limit is never enough. With typical luck, it takes 2-4 times the goal to complete a level. That's a lot of powerups eventually, considering you earn only about half per level.

Pieces often don't connect, so you need hints to find their place in the middle of nowhere.

Pieces are often so similar, with paralel curves and straight lines in the middle. So you cannot trust where a piece goes, is it in the middle or the edge. You need hints to resolve it.

Thus you are supposed to play each level 4+ times, learn them, and eventually you'll have better luck - or just spend very many powerups to get it done once you have the cash.

The best part? When you spend several powerups, then you make a mistake anyway, 3-4 attempts in a row. I'm cursing more playing this game than the Wolf of Wall Street.

... or download the solutions, put it on a 2nd monitor or apply an overlay.
... or ignore all the achievements and stars and just play for the challenge. You only need 2 keys per level to open the worlds.

Nice relaxing game with a surprising amount of content!
There are a LOT of jigsaw puzzles to get through so it will keep you occupied for a good amount of time, which was a pleasant surprise for what I assumed would have been just a nice 'little' game.

Fun puzzle game. Great for when I need to relax or am not wanting to focus much. None of the pieces are traditional cut puzzle style pieces so some levels can be challenging. But there's a relax mode you can toggle so you don't have to worry about a time limit for the 3rd level key. Overall, definitely worth the few dollars I paid for the enjoyment factor.

I wanted to like this a lot more than I did, it has a nice puzzle concept. I was a bit put off by the over-gamification of what is essentially just a series of puzzles, which can be enjoyed for what they are without the jazz. I felt like I was trapped in an app from the OS store rather than being immersed in a unique, creative gaming experience. The graphics are cute and the puzzles nicely designed, buuut I feel like this has been made for a very specific niche audience...

its cute and a good time waster. love the theme of it. can get annoying, but it is a puzzle, so i expected it. i think it is worth it for the original price, but i managed to get it for 50 cents, which is amazing.

Very relaxing to play. The mosaic levels are well designed. When you click on a piece it does adhere to your cursor so you have no worries of misplacing it or tiring out your hand while dragging the piece over. There is relaxed mode so you don't have to try to beat a timer and are simply looking for something relaxing to do.

Alice's Patchwork is a mosaic jigsaw puzzle game although a lot of the pictures don't really have anything to do with Alice in Wonderland such as a lion and a lighthouse although I haven't read the books so maybe they're connected to those. The puzzles can be done against a timer or just done at your own pace which I preferred as it much easier plus you can buy hints with coins earned to help fill in pieces. I admit I struggled a lot to get three stars (no mistakes allowed) and restarted quite often but enjoyed the game overall. My only issue with the game is there wasn't a gallery to see all the complete puzzles close up. Hopefully they've added that to the sequel.

A good jigsaw type puzzle game. You need to assemble mosaics to progress. You get offered a few pieces at a time to see where you can put them.

This game can be played casually just to kill some time or with some challenge (time restriction, no fault moves) if you want some intellectual stimulus.

Artwork is done well, sound is alright. You get a good value for the price offered. Simple, but good.

Stupidly addictive.
On occasion I do find myself ready to hurl my mouse out of the window...but
I guess that's all part of the fun!?

It's a great game, pretty too!
Being the fidgety person I am, it keeps the day ticking away when work is quiet.
Highly recommend if you enjoy jigsaws/puzzles..so on... ^^

Fun jigsaw style game. I like the theme. It's not that easy at the more difficult levels and I can't keep to the time allowed, but I go at my own pace and enjoy the challenge. The finished pieces are colourful and well designed. I enjoy it ( even when it makes me feel less than brilliant!)

β™₯ It's not a bad little game. I only got it cause I got a coupon for it, I don't think I'd ever pay full price for it. I think this game is also good for people who like getting achievements as it's an easy game to get all of them.
♦ The timing is pretty short on each puzzle so i recommend looking at the Guide as it will help with coins and time limit.
♣ Suited more to children, but I had fun streaming this for my little brother.
β™  Some of the art was quite pretty and the music was pretty good too!

Alice's Patchwork is a mid-range difficulty jigsaw game.

There's no story to speak of, just 6 worlds of 20 puzzles each.

Each world has it's own theme, with the puzzles being made of different materials with their own appearances and sound effects. The sound design is well done, though some of the material sounds could be a bit jarring to some players.

While there is no piece rotation, the puzzles are made more difficult by the fact that you are provided only a limited number of pieces at a time, and there will be times when you have no inkling of where any of those pieces need to be placed. Thankfully, there is a Hint feature that allows the player to be shown where one of the available pieces is to be placed. And if you need a hint before the timer resets, you can pay to make the next hint immediately available.

Each puzzle solved will grant the player between 1 and 3 keys towards full completion. 1 for solving the puzzle, 1 for doing so without any misplaced pieces, and 1 for completing the puzzle within the time limit for that puzzle. As with buying down the hint timer, you can also buy additional completion time.

Most of the achievements available for the game are obvious and will be acquired simely through playing the game. However, there is one achievement that requires that you complete 5 puzzles in a row, that have not been previously completed, without mistakes. if you are not aware of this and are like me (and apparently quite a few others, as well), you are likely to work the same puzzle several times to get below the time limit and so not get this achievement, and therefore not get the achievement for all other achievements. I did not learn this until I had nearly completed the game and created a second player to start over and collect this and all other achievements.

The Good:
- Solid mid-tier difficulty jigsaw puzzles
- Attractive puzzle art
- Competent sound design with pleasant music
- Replaying levels is kept fresh by the random allotment of available pieces

The Bad:
- Some puzzle sounds can be a little jarring
- The random allotment of available pieces can make it so that it is not possible to complete the puzzle within the time limit without extending the time by potentially minutes.

The Ugly:
- The description for the Wise Caterpillar achievement description is nonsensical and learning what the requirement actually is may result in the player being forced to start over from the beginning and play through the entire game a second time.

I am 58 yo father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am single father to my Son, who is 14 now.
My son got this game for Christmas in 2021 from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 40 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he always out with his friends or just watching some tiktok videos. So I decided to get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. I loaded into the game, picked my character and started playing but I what stuck on what you were supposed to do. I asked my Son for help and hosted a game for me to join. I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my son since my wife had died. This game has ever since brought me and my son closer again and we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, it has brought me both and my Son many happy memories.
