100% Works On The Valve Index, Quest 2, Vive Pro 2 & Pico 4

I was not expecting such a brilliant game, I was very pleasantly surprised.

Everything about this game is well thought out and put together - lighting, sound, atmosphere, story and so much more.

There is so much attention to detail & little touches in the game, like the way the you have to strike the match to light it and the heat plus subtle smoke when you look up close.

There are some great puzzles but not so many that they gets in the way of the core fun of the game.

I especially liked the enemy models, just top notch. There are jump scares and some really crazy moments.

Plenty of twisted Creatures/Freaks in this game and of course ZOMBIES!

Buy it while it is £10, bloody, gory, scary fun! Don't even watch the trailer if you want a spoiler free experience.

I streamed the game and the devs watched the entire thing. I did come across some bugs, which they managed to fix in a couple of days!

Wow I'm so impressed by what this game does. Bad dreams is exactly what it is. Bad fckin dreams but in vr!! This has its bugs and is no where near perfect (as expected with early access)but this is definitely a great start and something crazy as hell! Looks really good not Alyx good but pretty damn good imo and some of the puzzles so far are very cool and rewarding when completed. I think this is worth the price and on sale is a steal. I'm going to sit on this one for more updates because it does need them but worth a wait for a hidden horror gem like bad dreams. Highly recommend for any horror fans vr collection.

My original intent was to do a full review, but unfortunately, I came across a game-breaking bug that stopped my progress and that I couldn't get around (shown in the video above). Despite the bug, I did enjoy playing this game even though it is clunky in several parts and does feel like an Early Access game. However, unlike a lot of games in EA, this one shows more than promise, there's a lot here to like.

This is one of the most creative horror games I have ever played. It's very stylized. The devs did things here that I have never seen in any other VR game. For example, you cover your face when you come across some scary scenarios to keep from losing sanity or how the lighter goes out if you move too fast. There are some jump scares, but there's a good pacing to the them and they are earned, not just thrown in there without any thought.

There's also some basic gameplay mechanics that have been overdone in horror. For example, looking for a code to a lock before you can leave the room. The combat is also pretty basic, although there is some phyics to the melee. You do have to swing hard to bring down the enemies. Throwing molovs also feels pretty good as well as lighting them.

The visuals do look very good in some scenes, but they also look plain in others. I assume that's because it is in Early Access and hopefully everything looks top notch by the end of development. The spatial audio is also done very well, especially in the animated cut scenes. Truly makes them horrifying to experience. The VOs could have been better, but I hate to complain about French actors doing English bits. Overall, I want to see if the finished product brings this story together because so far it does seem pretty discombobulated.

Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting mostly 90 fps. You do have full locomotion available, along with snap turning. I could not see any option to turn the snap turn blinders off unfortunately. You can play seated or standing, but my height was just a bit off with no way to manually correct. I did not see any graphics options. In fact, I had trouble accessing the menu as I think I came across a bug that didn't let me change any settings.

Rate 6.5/10. Already worth the $12 USD I spent. I hope the devs update & actually make this game reach its potential. I could easily rate this game much higher with future updates. We shall see.
