Boney's Research on Humans!'s face suggests it should be a fun and silly romp, with funny set pieces and big "gotcha" moments, but the game instead is a score-based affair asking the player to stealthily memorize a path through the stage to complete in a fast fashion. But retrying stages requires waiting through a 3-second hub-world transition followed by a 3-second stage transition.
If it's supposed to be score-based, minimize the retry period. If it's supposed to be funny, up the dumb set-pieces (the first time a box enemy appears is great) and don't penalize the player so harshly for failing stealth.

Add to this more fundamental design problem, the game is also just buggy: The bone throw seems useless, humans not responding to it unless hit directly making it near identical to the dooter (maybe due to a sound detection update); level transitions never disappear if you hit escape to open the menu; it's possible to push the interact and crawl buttons simultaneously while next to hiding spaces and become invisible; sometimes being killed causes all Boney's abilities to stop working (maybe related to hiding); there's a memory leak somewhere that can cause the game to eat up your CPU after a mere forty minutes of playing (this happened in the early grocery store stage).

This is a cute little retro game! I'm having fun with it.

I wondered what the deal about the research on humans was, It ended up being a sort of metal gear solid( think the MSDOS ones) about snapping pictures of humans, and trying to be as sneaky as possible. it has been really fun so far and I particularly enjoyed discovering the little hidden costumes.

Boney is really cute and I like that he Doots to distract enemies, I get nervous while hiding from the humans, but I will update when I play more

I played the first couple of levels, and the art is pretty cool, I like the style and the stealth mechanics are good too, I find the bone throwing a little finicky but I have enjoyed it so far, looking forward to updates
