I am usually not a fan of "bullet hell" type games, but this one is super satisfying and has very balanced upgrades + characters! I just finished getting all the achievements and would highly recommend trying it out if you are looking to burn some time.

This is one of those games that you can play forever. Looking forward to all the amazing updates to come!

I feel like I may have jumped the gun when I bought this game. I was thinking the demos I had been watching youtubers play were only a taste of the game. I've completed a few runs now and have lost all steam due to a few reasons:

-very repetitive; only two bosses and not much enemy variety -- you literally see everything in the game each run.
-some "upgrades" seem to do absolutely nothing on characters like bouncing or piercing on Nigel. feels bad
-the black market meta upgrades are insanely grindy with minimal impact
-I absolutely loathe the music, sorry but it's just not for me

I'm willing to change my review to positive if some of these things change but in it's current state I'd say this game is riding the Vampire Survivors wave of goodwill and that's the only reason it's at a 90% imo

Very limited in scope. Limited choices, limited gameplay. I really don't see how this can be fun. What you see in the demo video is essentially the entirety of the game.
The claim of what's in the game isn't really true. Half the upgrades are stronger/weaker versions of others. You're pretty much limited to a few different levels of attack dmg, attack spd, crit, AOE range and shot bounce. There's a couple of others that give cast on crit or similar, but nothing there to really blow your skirt up.

It's good, but the the items are pretty limited and the bosses are dull. The RNG can get pretty bad too.

Price is a bit high for what's on offer atm, after about 10 runs you'll probably see everything.

I'm giving a positive review for now, but only because I believe in the devs to make this better. It has a long way to go but the updates have been coming pretty quickly so far.

TaK1138
TaK1138

I get the feeling that most people who are complaining about not being able to aim, or the RNG of item choices are upset because they expect this game to belong to a different genre. This is a "Bullet Heaven" rogue-lite where you are the bullet spammer on the screen and the skill you hone is your mobility, both in the map but also through the randomness of the items and upgrades given to you.

Very fun for an early access game! I look forward to seeing more updates and continuing to play this! While the game is very repetitive as far as the same mobs and bosses, i feel as though it does have quite a bit of replayability for being so early in its development. Definitely worth the money in my book. If you're on the fence about purchasing, i'd say go for it! ♥

Jetey13
Jetey13

very enjoyable game, RNG based but that's to be expected of a rogue like. and the developers are in constant contact with their players so good update will most likely be very good especially since it is still in early access.

Good game. Sometimes the music just slightly makes me feel off of the game. I'm not saying music is bad it's just that it was very weird one time, and I regretting buying it at first. It is a good game, begguining sucks, you starts to get more intresting the more you play. The whole game is about luck, some animations are a bit off. Like Natako or whatever having his sword off of his hand when moving left or right. Like the art style, challenges are balanced. Skill needed. Overall, 9.2/10

Bwolfwar

It gradually gets more difficult over time, but you're basically trying to survive as long as possible with what limited abilities you gather from chests

LowPhat

no aiming, repetitive music, no attacks w/o moving....for this type of game its a game breaker for me....Ill sit on this awhile and try later...NO {for now.) Will wait for updates. Review subject to change.

Trash multiplayer, only works via remote play which is an atrocity. Don't buy if you expect to play with friends.

Not being able to shoot and run at the same time really makes every boss and mini boss just irritating. Can't move and shoot makes you dead soon

#SavageDeath#
#SavageDeath#

There is something so off with this game and how it functions.
My main grip, is having to stand still to shoot. Like many games of this genre before it, its a huge part of the fluidity and pace in how the game plays. Standing still to shoot would not be as bad if you could "Actually" choose where to aim, but this is automatically done for you and it will just target the closest enemy to your character. Without this, you just end up getting out paced so quickly if your RNG is poor for the power ups you get offered.
There is some real potential here, but in its current state, it will just fall into the nether and be forgotten like many games before it.

Bozeman

There's just nothing compelling enough here to make me want to play more. You can see the other 'survival' games it's trying to emulate, but I think the dev needs to re-look at what makes those other games fun; it's missing any sort of drastic alterations to the game's formula, or weapon changes when leveling that actually affect a run noticeably, probably due to the plodding nature of its gameplay. I get that's most likely a design choice, but there's nothing else added to a run to make it ..well..fun. Leveling up and getting "a little bit more damage" is the gaming equivalent of finding a donut you've been looking forward to all day was smooshed; you'll still eat it, but it somehow just doesn't taste as good as it would have been.

It's very simplistic, lacks in any sort of character, the graphics and audio are a bit bland, and the upgrades are extremely dull and don't change very much to be honest. Just doesn't hook me like other similar games have.

Royal Lapis
Royal Lapis

Very satisfying and you can make different builds to suit you. I 100% recommend it to players who don't want things to be so difficult, but strategic and of course very satisfying!

Hi Im Waffle
Hi Im Waffle

Has potential to be a fun rougelike scroller (I'm not quite sure what genre we are going to be calling them tbh). Main draw here is that it's co-op which is what I wanted from these sorts of games. Remote play is fine, or least playable though.

Characters are alright, so far they just have different attack patterns which gives some taste of diversity, dashing is a nice mechanic to help you not get swarmed too easily, and the cool down on them are long unless you incest upgrades into it during a run in which you will lack in other areas so theres drawbacks to that.

In-battle upgrades aren't too interesting so far. I'm sure the devs will add more and maybe unique character upgrades would be cool too. Not much diversity in this area.

Not much enemy variety in the game as well. But the two bosses in the game are fun to fight against and hopefully new bosses along the way will have interesting battle mechanics.

So yeah, I think picking this game up isn't a bad idea. It still has room to grow, at least I hope so.

Easily my favorite of the Vampire Survivors/Horde style games that isn't actually Vampire Survivors. The look and music are great, the upgrades are different and varied enough that the game doesn't feel too samey even though so far it only has two modes, and the game just keeps getting better. Plays great on the steamdeck as well.

Super easy, kinda fun just to relax on free time. Had zero expectations, spent about 3-4 hours in a row. Lots of joy for a buck.

Few cons: relatively short (early access issue?), not happy with UI -- need to hold button to see stats, could be toggled?, some unclear icons etc, the randomness of choises feels like locked after level were generated (like ones will appear everytime and other will never, could be wrong here, just had this feeling), useless rolls, a bit flash-like animation which looks cheap / mobile-like. Limited amount of mob types.

BUT.

In general all is okay. Only have a wish longer levels and a lower curve of complexity development to have space/time to enjoy the game. More type of perks, probably different weapons? More bosses? Mob types.

All is cool!

UPD: gosh! i found "stats toggle" in settings, found "weapons" inside characters... also found daily fights but still have feelings about locked perk system. once it was generated for a level or current daily fight it would never be changed. Due to locked perk system at some point it becomes repetative and boring. Anyway still cool for spent money.

Honestly, I love this game.
It's the perfect game just to kill time and relax, especially for the price. The fact you can play one handed as well is amazing as you can eat or drink whilst playing without inconvenience. I've played this game since the beta and it has improved drastically with the release to paid. Updates are regular and bug patches are frequent which really helps to smooth your experience.
The fact that there is only a 2 man developer team as well shocks me due to the high quality.
This game seems to be nowhere near release as it seems like the developers are planning lots more and I cannot wait to see what they produce.

I have mixed feeling about Bounty of One so far. My first run of Bounty of One was very meh. Mostly just increases to my damage, reductions to my cooldowns, more health. Nothing to exciting. I really didn't see any special power ups or fancy, flash bonuses that made the run feel very good though we made it to the last boss. My second run, I found a ton of different and fun things that made the run damn good. Fire in all directions from time to time, piercing shots, lighting bolts every few steps I took. It was magical.

There are some things that might push some people away from the game, like only being able to attack while standing still. It was something I thought would hamper the experience, but I think it adds a layer of skill to it. Movement is the name of the game and being able to fire off a few shots, level up, and get back to moving feels pretty neat. Though, it makes the boss fights feel a little boring. Dodge, dodge, dodge, shoot off a few shots, dodge, dodge, dodge. The boss fights almost feel out of place because it.

The game doesn't feel like it has a lot of content to it just yet (I know I haven't played that much), so maybe hold off until it gets a little more. There are 4 different characters to use as of right now, I have only unlocked the 2nd one and I haven't tried them just yet. So far, outside of adding a explosion to my dash, I haven't seen any different weapons than the one you start with. The power ups are pretty basic from what I have seen so far. I will be putting more time into to Bounty of One for sure.

I will be giving this game a thumbs up because I liked what I've seen so far and think it shows a lot of promise. It does need more content before I really recommend Bounty of One. The bar for this style of game (single stick shooter, Vampire Survivors clone, Horde-Survival) is, in my opinion, pretty high. There are some damn good games in this genre right now and I do think Bounty of One can become one of them, but it's just not there yet

Messy
Messy

I'd really want to recommend this game. I'll explain why I cant at this time. There are a lot of games like this out there that are just as fun (Vampire survivors, Rogue Genesia etc), the one aspect of this game I was looking forward to was the "Remote Play Together" but with 400mbps down and 350mbps up it still resorts to very low frames and impossible frame loss situations on the person connecting to you. I hope this gets improved somehow and that its playable soon.

Ol' Blue Hat
Ol' Blue Hat

Was itching for a VS fix since I'm at the end of the recent patch and found Bounty of One in my recommends. I'll be honest, initially I wasn't wow'd by the art or the overall aesthetic of the game - I'm not a fan of old west style stuff and the first look at the graphics had me a bit worried. But the big draw here is the game is willing to take risks with its game design, let the game literally crack to splinters under its own weight if you let it and that's the TRUE spirit of Vampire Survivors and its likes. Not solid game play or character design, just a game that's fast, loose, and overall easy to pick up with decent depth.
I highly recommend this for anyone need to scratch the VS itch. You'll get used to the "stop-and-pop" game play, it weirdly grows on you and becomes a pretty decent definition of what makes this game unique.

Shokyo?
Shokyo?

Good game, but could use loads of reworks, please remove the fact that enemies infinitely spawn when you go into endless, the whole reason why your game would lag is because of that, please add a cap of at least 50 or so enemies because it's annoying when you have 150+ enemies and you die because of an unfair mechanic placed by the devs.
(ps please add more things that increase grab range!)

Zim

its a great demo, lots of fun for the first two levels that it has but I cant advise you get it until the rest of the game is added. Also as a side note the coop is a bit competative for my liking, better if we just shared everything with each other

This game is VERY early in Development it seems, but it is a lot of fun. If you're into the Vampire Survivors style of games, this is definitely for you.

Whimsy!
Whimsy!

It's okay.

The problem this game has over something like Vampire Survivors is that your choices don't lead to anything interesting. Every run feels the same, with the upgrades just altering your stats or making you shoot more/fewer bullets.

I think they need to break their own mold a little bit~ the game is in early access, but these are core-gameplay fundamentals, so I'm not exactly holding my breath.

Phallicies
Phallicies

Fun game, Easy to progress with some interesting options for characters which have different play styles. I wish there was a little more transparency on how you unlock them.

Looking back I guess it makes sense, however for quite some time I avoided certain play styles and builds because they didn't suit the character. I would have deliberately gone out of my way to get the characters otherwise.

Goomba The Vexed
Goomba The Vexed

OMG... Where to start? This is a rouge like mob survival game. It can make a build so busted... and have it ruined by one bad decision or accidental choice. It's simplistic design makes it easy to understand but hard to master... or maybe lucky is more correct. The reason is each time you level you get 3 (or more) mods to choose. They affect everything from your speed of firing, to how much damage you do and even the number and speed of projectiles you shoot. Occasionally you encounter a boss (which is just really powerful version of enemies with unique attacks. learn the patterns and you can walk away without much trouble...), but the mob is the real challenge. surviving endless hoards of enemies that gradually get more health is the simple name of the game... if you get really broken in your build, you might just make it to the high scores.

Deadguy
Deadguy

Lots of replayability so you can improve your own runs and try to get different upgrades, creatiing different builds. If the developer keeps adding stuff then i will always keep coming back for more!

Sasha
Sasha

Amazing gameplay foundation, progression is a bit bland, few chest items are actually viable, game becomes very easy after first win because of the progression choices puzzle being solved. Farming difficulties thus is not interesting, would be cool to have each difficulty change some mechanics / map and enemies / available items. Maybe have some difficulty-specific environment, like a stone rolling from top to bottom occasionally, to balance out power spikes of being able to just stand in the center, but only on some maps, as afk def is part of the fun. So in general more different stuff in the game would be cool, because after 2 hours there is nothing to problem-solve or react to anymore, just grind.

The core gameplay is a perfect match for me, so really looking forward for the future updates from the developer, best of luck :)

This game is pretty fair, but hard to come back to over Vampire Survivors, 20 minutes until dawn or similiar titles.

It has loads of potential, but the upgrades and core gameplay is all super limited.

The splitscreen co op works alright, but gets old fast. This game definitely has potential, but I'd recommend other games of the genre over this easily.

I love this game, and I highly recommend it. However it was pretty slow to get into.

The public beta is the place to play. There are new treasures, and coins/xp combine when they sit around for a bit, and balancing tweaks as of Sep 1st.

Coming off Vampire Survivors, this took a bit to get used to. The early game was pretty slow, even though I could consistently defeat the sheriffs (coins are slow to start). The more I played the better the game became even though the game is repetitive.
This game is more build focused, and each character has a not so clear focus on how you should play them.

My suggestions:
-At some point the ability to choose at least one permanent upgrade, or a scaling system with which you could buy upgrades or treasures permanently. This is to make the early game less grindy feeling, and allow you to focus more on your build without relying on good RNG. 50 coins for a permanent upgrade, and maybe double the cost for every following perm upgrade
-Pointers to chests laying on the ground
-A more defined and recognizable start location, I use POI's or terrain to keep me anchored to a location for xp/coin collection. Currently the L shaped patch of grass isn't really doing it for me
-The ability to use coins for more game elements. More characters (there is no character that starts with Pierce, or bounce, there is no dash character, there is no crit character. Basically I'd like a character for every treasure), Coins are the lifeblood of this game. It funds the gambling aspect.
-Character ability descriptions
-A compass that points to the spawn location, although not really necessary.

The game is great, and I hope to see it become a must have.

A lot of potential here. Not saying it is a bad game in it's current state. It's in my top 3 when it comes to horde survivals. But it has the potential to be the best imo.

Graphics stand out like a sore thumb. In a good way. You just see so much pixel art in horde survivals. Everything is bright and popping. Enemy projectiles and hazards are fairly easy to see. The art style is one of the best things about the game. And aside from it's gimmicks is one of the bigger selling points imo. I have had an issue where it won't go back to full screen. But I am hoping that is an issue that gets resolved and letting that slide.

Music fits thematically but isn't much special. Boss music is fine - better than the standard. Game isn't blowing anyone's skirt up here.

Sounds are decent. Enemies make a satisfying sound when they die. But sounds from your own weapon and sounds of enemies getting hit is either flat or non-existent.

Gameplay is fun. And has a gimmick. You only fire your weapon(s) while standing still. It works out better than it sounds. There is a lot of strategy in the early game with level ups granting ways to possibly play around it. Before I say more I have to mention the meta progression system. It takes a very long time to unlock meta progression. 3 hours in and I have not maxed a single thing. It also has a scaling difficulty each successful run similar to 20 Minutes Till Dawn. So the game gets pretty difficult fast whereas the player gets better very slowly. I don't mind this but meta progression feels a bit too slow. Having said that there doesn't seem to be much variety in terms of things you are looking for to have a strong run. There is a lot of variance in terms of how strong your rolls are. Picking an upgrade that says "Gain some damage" and another that says "Gain a lot of damage" is a pretty big difference. Some runs can make you feel behind early. Meta progression could help. But I can't remember what they do because I never earn enough to bother checking the menu. It does have an endless mode once you "finish" the main objectives. That is neat.
The end game feeling the same even with different characters kind of sucks. Meta progression gated behind such a heavy grind is also a big hit. Game needs more characters and ways to build up a character.

Multiplayer, the second gimmick, and biggest selling point of the game. The only one I know of currently that has it. Me and my daughter loved passing the controller, taking turns on runs in Vampire Survivors. But now we got to play at the same time. Fantastic and gives us great memories. The price for me because of this was worth it. I had some issues with remote play. Mileage may vary here. But even local multi in my case was awesome.

I highly recommend for someone with friends or family to enjoy it with. Even to experience the only do damage while standing still mechanic for fans of the genre. The gameplay is not quite there yet for me to recommend the game to everyone else. But as I said off the bat. Game has a lot of potential - just not quite there yet.

kinda dumb. have to stand still to shoot? take that out its dumb. and the characters don't really matter cuz u just build the same thing. crit/ atk spd/ dm. add some variation. and, apparently, i'll have to play this game about 300 billion times to unlock everything??? come on.

Alright, this game is fun but flawed. If you want a better game like this play Vampire Survivors which has more characters, more enemies, more upgrades and way more variation in general (and is cheaper).

So, if this game is fun, why don't I recommend it?

Well it is simple, there are a few very annoying bugs and very little content. There are only 2 bosses (sherrifs) to fight and if you deside to continue after the second boss the game quickly becomes unfair difficult ending fun runs way to soon.

Also, upgrades are boring, and mostly plain stats upgrades (damage, attack speed, crit, etc). No new skills, weapons or abilities are unlocked so every run you basically build your character the same.

Balance is also non existing! If you get lucky and get a gold tier upgrade as your first upgrade you steamroll true the entire game, if you are unlucky or build wrong you are having a less fun time. Because this is time based and the faster you kill, the more upgrades you get, so ones you get behind the curve there is no way to get above it again.

Bugs, there are a few and they are annoying. For example when you dash your character will keep running in the direction of your dash and to change direction you have to let go of any movement keys and press them again (which for a game like this is very annoying and means game over more then ones).

Another bug is that your character sometimes doesn't fire when you stop moving. Well your character does fire after a delay that is normally not present. Also for a game like this you need to have this reliable!

Also, it needs some quality of life updates like optimizing, a way to global clear or pickup XP (which doesn't despawn and causes lag lategame) and a way to see if chests are dropped outside your vision.

Last thing, about upgrades which are in my opinion not well balanced is that there are a few powerful upgrades that require you to stand still in a game that is designed around moving! For example, gain attack speed when standing still for a few seconds yet most enemies have ranged attacks (bombs, fireballs, charges) that require you to move. and there are no real upgrades to counter these ranged attacks. This is poor game design ....

but I'm going to have to leave it for a bit, turns out get your damage up and and all the rate of fire buffs from chests, the game crashes.. but it's a demo, and I was trying to crash it :P

Rounds end just as you're reaching a decent build.
Very repetative music.
Feels like a browser game.

Having played many games in this genre, I can't really say this one does anything new, It's a rather slow and sluggish game compared to others in this genre. It will probably become better over time, but I had to stop playing. 3/10
Probably fun with friends.

Absolutely love this game. It's alternatingly frustrating and glorious. It's fast-paced and highly addictive fun.

This game is great, the best part is going beyond and turning your game into a Power-Point presentation with an insane build.

Only issue is there's a lot of upgrades that are complete traps. Especially most of the "legendary rarity" ones.

Maybe it'll end up a good game after a lot more work goes into it, but this just feels like a watered-down Vampire Survivors with a 66% higher price tag.

Bought the game to support the developers and maybe help contribute in the game's direction during early access, but I absolutely do not reccomend the game in its current EA state to anyone else.

My problems are simple:
1) Both bosses currently in the game exploit the game's core "can't aim and can't shoot while moving" mechanic, rather than working around it. They feel like they were designed for a completely different game, with the first boss being unnecessarily chore-some, and the second boss being a piss in the park, both boring as hell, which is disappointing considering how okay the actual horde survival of the core game is.
2) The items in the game make the game WAY TOO RNG reliant. Like insanely so. You have pretty much only one item that can provide a consistent heal (since the only other one doesn't work during boss fights) and most items have a downside to "compensate" which is fun in theory, except when combined with the other upgrades. Spend your entire game going for crit chance whenever you see it? Bet you feel amazing when the only legendary upgrade you come across later is "You have 100% crit chance but deal 3 times less damage" so either you pick up an item that does nothing but downgrade you, some completely underpowered items that barely impact your power level, or just skip and miss out on an item completely. That's something I have not seen in a single other bullet heaven/Survivors game, and for good reason. There NEEDS, and I mean NEEDS to be a huge overhaul with the items, as currently you will be forced to devote to random upgrades when you level, that "determine" what build you're doing, while having atrocious items with unnecessary downgrades to make your upgrades gained completely pointless.

I have high hopes for the game, and the core gameplay is fun, but the insanely slow meta-progression, absurdly out of place bosses, and huge pool of useless items means I cannot with a good heart advise people to invest in this game as it currently stands. I will change my review if any of the issues raised change, because I absolutely want to recommend this game, but not for this price, when you can buy "20 Minutes Till Dawn" for less, and with vastly superior gameplay and execution of its ideas, something this game really should learn from.

clarification, game is fine, but in current state is not recommended.
the game required some optimization, once enemy start piling up, the lag is very noticeable compared to other similar game.
two unlockable characters are mildly disappointing; one with small range, the other is slow, makes unlocking them less exciting.
again, the game is fun, but need some improvement.

fun game, needs more content and balancing above the 2nd boss, but thats expected if the devs say it does themselves :). can recommend 10/10

Great fun for a little while but a bit short on features and a painful boss event at the end of every run. Looking forward to where this goes - lots of fun creating interesting builds and a lot of room for improvement still.

Fun for 10 minutes, gets so repetitive.
90% of the upgrades are the same 3 which is just a bit more attack speed, damage or critical damage with a couple others being rare drops.
The chests dropped by the special enemies were mostly garbage upgrades that were sometimes more negative than positive, or just boring.
The bosses have SO much health and such a boring moveset that you just slowly walk around in circles to avoid their attacks while stopping to shoot when you get the chance. They genuinely take 5+ minutes to finish doing the same boring movement.
I got pretty far into the game and hit a spot where levelling up was extremely slow - was killing everything quite quickly and then within the span of 30 seconds I was suddenly not killing anything anymore, even the grunt enemies which made it impossible to level up until I was swarmed as no enemies would die

Sometimes, you just want to sit back and play a game that will hook you and you can just play it to have a good time. This is that good time. Lots of fun random upgrades and pretty balanced enemies. Looking forward to more content.

Only a few hours into the game right now. It's very simple at the moment (not sure if it gets any harder or not) Controls are simple and gameplay is simple. I like that a lot. I'm just trying to play something fun and casual for a bit and this fits that need well. I think my current CON for this game already is the lag when you start surviving longer to a point where there are so many enemies spawning and your attacks/abilities are going off so much that I had the game straight up freeze a few times. I literally had to dash away from mass mobs just to get fps back.. Otherwise, really fun and worth the price

Quick Description:
-The potential is definitely there for Bounty of One, but as of this moment, it's just not a game I can recommend. This is another VS-Like, w/ an upgraded aesthetic and some interesting changes. However, this game becomes repetitive really quickly, needs way more enemy and boss diversity, has incredibly tedious meta progression, and is severely limited on content. I'll give this another shot closer to the 1.0 window.

Super fun game. Can't wait for more characters to become available to play. Great time for $4. Devs are very active about bugs and issues.

neat little game with shared screen co-op on one pc (those are rare i love it)
i wish runs would be longer with more and random bosses but i wouldnt be surprised if thats coming as this game is still in alpha
there are a few bugs and things that are not optimized that i found so far:
-if you start the game by pressing space (or the dodge buttom on controller) you dash on game start
-after reviving in co-op your dash does not regenerate if you have more than one
-no windowed fullscreen

cant wait to see what the other characters will get for perks, as of now i dont see any reason to play any other character than serra

EDIT:
as i was sure the characters were updated and they all have their quirks now :)

Overall a decent little project. A rather small dev team so it's cool to see the progress they're making on the game.
It's not perfect, but it's worth 5$, and if you arent satisfied, you can beat the game in less than 2 hours easily so you can just refund :)

This game which has the simplest mechanic's (only 2 buttons needed) is the most Addicting Game!
I'm obsessed with it! Once you figure out your play style, and what works best for you; and have good RNG on perks; you're unstoppable! I Love it - I can't wait to see where this game goes!
"Sometimes LESS is MORE" This saying is so true, especially when it comes to this game!

I personally enjoy the game a lot and play with a small group, but we're constantly running into Remote play together ruining the experience for us. You can't have more than one player using keyboard and mouse, so you have to depend on other people having controllers in order to spend time together on it. We all have got the game itself, so it would be great to see a proper Multiplayer for people who all have purchased it to play together. Otherwise, it isn't really worth the struggle and frustration of controller's drifting randomly, leading to deaths, and trying to stay alive while everything becomes a pixelated mess from RPT just being poor quality. Especially with all of the entity lag you get from coins, and later on into it all of the enemies on screen. On top of that, if you have someone with slightly worse internet, they can't join you at all, where as with proper multiplayer they could, they'd just fight some of their own lag.

If you want it just for singleplayer however, it's pretty great. Definitely needs some item balancing, however. Too many items give you a buff, but it's really just a nerf in disguise. "Gain increasing attack speed while standing still" Is great.... But you can't just sit still. We now have one specifically for just not taking damage as well, which is far better. "100% crit, but 3 times less damage." (this has been changed a bit but now it's even worse) is just an extreme nerf. Crit is nice and all but if it scales off your damage, and your damage is tanked down immensely well..... 200% of 1 is just 2. Doesn't balance well.

I think instead focusing on making it so that you get items that do buff you, and actually help you like they should, and then getting debuffs from elsewhere would be a better choice in this scenario.

This game will be great once multiplayer is fixed/updated. Because even if the items are still iffy, at least you have a team to help balance things.

Caim

Good

Some things that need to change though.

Co-op player if dead should still be able to choose rewards, reviving them is worthless after awhile otherwise
Co-op rewards should either be shared, or not one-person locked
Endless mode?
Indicators
Co-op person should be able to read what a icon does if the host isn't hovering over

For the bounty of $5 it is a worthy contender for top 5 bullet hell games to unwind to. You only shoot while not moving requiring a twitchy thumb to deal damage and move around the play field. The multiplayer co-op option is great and the upgrade options so far are interesting. I like what the developers have done here, and the direction they appear to be continuing in. It's a refreshing new take on a trending game style, and I love it.

P.S. Plays great on my steam deck!

I really like the game, but for some reason i cant seem to get more than 5 mins into the game before it crashes. I have not played it in a min, so i figured i would play a few games.... the past 3ish games all crashed within 5 mins. i dont have the newest top of the line computer specs since its unnecessary for me given its only for gaming and nothing more...but i have a 6c/12t cpu with a 1080, but i shouldnt have an issue running this game.

Great game for co-op survival ! Just need to work on making the coop better and not using Steam Remote Gameplay.
And add a system where when you co-op with others you can gain the XP on your save too so you can keep doing more progress.
I'm hype to see more character and abilities!
