Made with love. Just like Machinarium. So, if you like the drawing style and the chilling music, you'll enjoy this not so long cutie game with funny puzzles (not so easy so it's challenging sometimes) and a lovely story.
Let's go find Rusty!!

This is a sweet little game. Very endearing characters and graphics, but far too frustrating for me to play. The game is in pictures, no language, so you do need to decipher the comic book like hints of what characters need, etc. It's just too frustrating for me to play through. Don't let my negative review deter you from playing this lovely game if you are into puzzles like this. I'm just not.

Absolutely lovely story and beautiful graphics. The game is a bit short for the price I payed and the way how to save your progress isn't very clear, so I had to start again after two levels. I wouldn't compare it to Amanita games though, this game is more of a classic style.

If you loved machinarium this will fill you with joy and alot of puzzling confusion as well lol. No it dosen't quite live up to the legend but it is a perfect game alternative, with intresting puzzles, fun characters, and own intresting backgroung designs all of the basis of a city filled with cans/boxes. There's nothing you CAN't like.

Short and cute point and click game. I love the visuals, and how relaxing and kind it feels. However, one major issue I always have with these kinds of games is that many dont have the option for fast walking, also I would like the game to have an instant transfer to the next room. Im an impatient person and this makes it boring for me. Obviously the other disadvantage is that there is no talk, even if in smaller amount. All this being said, Its not worth the full price. It will be finished in a matter of just few short hours with distractions.

One of the most adorable games I've played in recent memory. Reminds me of Machinarium, but also still feels unique. Some of the puzzles I had to think a bit extra on, but it didn't take me long to figure out and overall, took me two hours to finish the game and obtain all of the achievements. The music is also amazing and will be listening to it while working. I can't wait to see what's next from Triomatica Games!

just finished this game and it's one of my best solo story games i've played in a while. the art style in this is super cool, and i love the cute little can dog :) overall i would definitely recommend this game if you're looking for something chill to play.
it was a short game, i took my time playing it so i finished it in just under 4 hours, but it could be done in about half of that time. i don't remember if i bought this game on sale or not, $10 is a bit above what i would pay but honestly it was a fun game and i'm glad i purchased it.
i'm not sure if this was just a me issue too, but i did need to look up a walk-through for this game to get through some parts since i would get to a stuck point. i probably could have spent more time looking through the game for a while and figuring it out, but i tend to get a little impatient and want to get to the next step. for me at least, i felt that some of the challenges weren't as intuitive as i was expecting, but the little challenges with the moving blocks, balls, pipes, and other things were more my speed.
overall i would highly recommend this game!! the cute dog is definitely one of my favorite parts :D

Boxville has interesting non-human characters and an interesting setting in a sort of garbage city populated with cans and boxes. The physics of it are worth playing with, since there is certainly gravity, among other factors. But the thing that kills it for me is the lack of a manual save mechanism. And it's easy to displace yourself by mistakenly clicking on one of the icons on the main menu, the one that ditches your automatic save file and brings you back to start. The lack of manual saves is my main problem with the game, and I'm going to return it to inventory rather than play with this frustrating feature.

An inferior Machinarium clone, with similar mechanics and artwork, but way shorter. The overall 'storyline' is weak and the reliance on pictorial expositions of the plot is tiresome. As with most games of this type, the only way through is to complete a number of steps in order, with reference to an internal logic that in this case is pitifully weak. There are occasional actual puzzles to solve, most of which are quite trivial.

The cutest game of Ukrainian developers reminiscent of Machinarium.
The plot unfolds in the world of boxes called Boxville and the protagonist goes in search of a missing dog Rusty at the same time helping the inhabitants of Boxville.
A short game but it's heartwarming, thanks to the developers, I had fun. 🐶💙💛

I wish I could give this game a higher recommendation, but the fact that I was 2/3 of the way through and accidentally clicked the 'Star' which RESTARTED THE WHOLE GAME! Extremely irritating. The graphics are delightful, game play challenging and puzzles not always obvious, but was a lot of fun to waste a few hours.

Loved the cute characters and the story. Also, the game ran well with no hiccups for me. A hint/explanation button would have been nice on some of the puzzles, especially stacking the red and white cans.

This is a rather shortish but great integrated point n click puzzle game, very much in the style of 'cotton games' (Mr Pumpkin, Isoland) both visually and the type/style of puzzles. The characters I love - tin can dog I adore. It doesn't have manual saves only auto save (or checkpoint save as when I went back into the game I had to redo a minigame). It has no hints or hotspot indicator but with the usual limited areas to explore, although sometimes it's a try something on everything approach, you shouldn't get too stuck.

Apart from one achievement (to get the ball in the shopkeeper shop keep clicking on the correct thing on the paper that you'll see, to eventually get all stars) it's all auto so it's relaxing from that angle. It was so well done, so much love and thought that clearly has gone into the game it's hard not to love it. From the graphics, and the heartwarming story to the characters and the puzzles. I got it on sale and glad I found it, must buy for all integrated puzzle lovers. It had a couple of mild timing elements but shouldn't be a problem for most people.

I don't know, maybe my expectations were high due to being a fan of Machinarium or maybe there's just something wrong with me, but I didn't like this game due to average puzzles, some strange script logic where, for example, in order to complete a level you need to attend a random place two times to get a seemingly counterintuitive way to solve your problem. It's a nice game and probably it will find its player base, however, it's somewhat not for me. Still, this game has a great visual style which I can't help but note.

Boxville is similar aesthetically and mechanically to Machinarium while telling a short story of a can, his journey be reunited with his dog-can, and the people of Boxville that he helps and befriends along the way. 5.5/10

A short and fun game
The puzzles in it are really nice, I played on steam deck and it worked wonderfully without any glitches.
Very similar to the game Machinarium in style and atmosphere.
Saving in the game is automatic, don't click on the sign that looks like saving in the menu - it's restarting the game... a bit confusing.

A very sweet, thoroughly enjoyable game, in the indie-chic style and general aesthetic of Amanita offerings (Machinarium in particular comes to mind), which isn't to say it feels derivative, though. The mechanics and interaction feel natural and while minimalistic, they get the point across - the only exception to this was the menu feature of wiping all previous progress, which I admit I did, simply because it wasn't clear enough what the button did and I was curious to find out. And find out I did...

The story has a naive feel to it, much like an extended fable or children's story, which makes it very charming and heartwarming. The puzzles are neither too difficult, nor boring, and both their goals and their solutions all made sense to me, as natural things to try in order to achieve the goal at hand. There's nothing repetitive and no tedious backtracking, just straightforward do-A-to-pick-up-B-to-achieve-C.

All in all, a charming game, short and sweet, and leaving you with a warm fuzzy feeling. Wholeheartedly recommended!

This is a short point and click puzzle. The art style reminds me of Machnimarium. The world is very cute and interesting. I enjoy the visuals and the word-less story. Sometimes I wasn't quite sure what the illustrations were wanting me to do, but overall it was a nice short enjoyable puzzle experience. There were a few puzzles where I had to get a hint because I just wasn't combining the correct object with the right spot in the environment. I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys these sorts of experiences

Boxville offers a soothing, albeit frustrating experience at times. As a cartoon and as a story the game is outstanding and memorable due to its tranquil and idyllic setting and design. However, certain solutions and puzzles can be far too tedious or unclear, thus occasionally turning a relaxing experience into a frustrating one. Even though I have mixed feelings about this game, I'd still say Boxville deserves a positive review as it's obvious the developers put a lot of effort and love into it. I'm also proud it was made in Ukraine.

A wonderfully sweet and fun point and click adventure with a lovely art style very reminscent of Machinarium. Not the most difficult game, and will only take you about 2-3 hours to finish it, but it's a joy from start to finish.

I really liked the game. It is similar to Machinarium which is also another great game. However, the soundtracks are not natural and does not reflect the environment & ambiance. Also, it would be better if some animations could be stoppable when I give up doing something. Besides these, the art work is awesome.

A dirty, grimy world of boxes and cans and junk.

Beautiful artwork and animation with straightforward puzzles.

Heavily inspired by Machinarium, which is good.

Took me 3 hours to finish 100%.

Hope this developer makes more games.

Hi,

I really enjoyed this game. Beautiful art, some tricky puzzles and it had nice story line.

The only thing I was a little disappointed about - how short it was. I wanted mooooore please :)

Waiting for another one!

Thank you

If you liked playing Machinarium you'll definitely enjoy Boxville as well. Give it a try!
Its a heart warming story about a can man looking for his missing dog in Bloxville.
The art work looks pretty clean and charming, there's no way for you to get lost in Bloxville.
The puzzles themselves are not too easy or too hard to figure out, just the right amount of difficulty. The only complaint is that this game is around 3 hours long for 15 dollars may turn some people away. I would suggest adding in a challenge mode where the world is mirrored to lengthen the play time further. Short and sweet is what I can say about Bloxville.

It's a short and sweet puzzle game with a nice story! I found all the puzzles solveable, and some of them were quite challenging. The entire game was challenging enough to provide fun for an evening, which was well worth the money to me!

Cute game, just don't be like me and hit the star in the main menu then confirm, it resets your save. The game does a good job with no text but it's not always 100% clear :)

Short and sweet, this game is the definition of "attention to detail". Every image, every animation, and every puzzle is carefully crafted (and I use the word "crafted" because the phrase "carefully done" does not convey the amount of effort poured into this game).

Just an adorable game! The artwork is so endearing - some of the puzzles were a little hard but enjoyable all the same.
I would highly recommend and will keep an eye out for more games from this developer!

Such a great game! I've been heavily anticipating this one since I found it in the Steam Next Fest back in June of this year.

I didn't have any sort of bugs or technical issues, it just worked. I played about half of it on Linux (natively!) and half of it on the Steam Deck where it worked very well too. I didn't need to adjust anything to make it work on the deck either, not controls or anything.

It was a short, but very sweet experience. It definitely would've taken me longer, probably at least another hour or so, but the demo covers a portion of the game and I was already somewhat familiar with that area; so that helped speed things along.

The music was peaceful, but energetic. The visuals are gorgeous and well done. The puzzles are challenging, but not sticky either. There were a few head scratchers for me, but none of them took me too long to finally get ahold of. That is to say, not to the point of frustration.

I really recommend this game if you're looking for a nice chill point and click moon logic-y type game. Very fun.

Pretty short for 15 dollars. Good style. Hard to tell what you can and can't do in this game. Heartwarming ending.
Hard to recommend it for this price, but if it's on sale then go for it.

This is a lovely game, but please be aware that it is extremely short. I finished it in just under 3 hours, and that was with distractions.

The art style is gorgeous, the characters are adorable. The puzzles are great, not too easy to be boring, but not too hard to make me give up.

It's just a shame that it's not very long, and a good chunk of the game is what was already playable as the demo. I do feel the price is a little high for the content.

Love it. Absolutely delightful. Animation is wonderful. Puzzles are great. Some are head scratchers. Played the demo and enjoyed it very much. Great work on all aspects; graphics, sound, story, and length. I would like to see more by this team.

Incredible wholesome game that has soothing calming Lofi feeling. Relax and go on adventures with fun tin friends. The music is delightful and the soundscaping even more so. Great game to stream if you are looking for a fun calm game with great music. I finished the main story in three hours but there are some bonus stories I'm excited to still find.
