There are some really, really good adult games on Steam.

This is not one of those games. Unbelievably bad. Avoid like the plague.

Painfully bad, probably one of the worst H games I've played on Steam. Awfully explained "combat" system and impossibly fast directional arrow button presses to trigger/cancel things in the H battles make it overall a just really unpleasant experience. Oh and if you loose in one of the H battles (which you are going to do considering you bought a H game...) your stats and level get lower making the game even harder to progress. Really poorly designed game mechanic that punishes the player for doing what they bought the game to do. Kagura has plenty of much better games, avoid this one.

Had achievements and was an easy 100%.

update:
New patch ruined it, dropping to a 4.0/10.

I love adult games for various reasons. The biggest hurdle adult games have is balancing between their sexual content and their gameplay, this game does a good job marrying both together with an old school battle system for basic monsters (running into monster doing damage to them, and they you) and it's sexual fight mechanics for it's monster girls. While at first it was a bit discouraging losing stats when you lost fights or won but chose to... end the battle with a bang, it easily balances itself out by always giving resistance to damage as a trade off making it always just a little easier, that combined with a comprehensive crafting system using medicines from easily found herbs around the base i never felt too underpowered and was easily able to get rather strong and progress the game. The ending itself was rather quick but overall enjoyable and the chance to replay any fights, loss scenes and the intermitent story scenes and minigames make this an enjoyable yet short rpg. I highly recommend it. (don't forget to get the 18+ patch)

The story and grinding is long but worth it. Very nice art and character. Although you can find a full game save to skip all the pain but you may skip the plot and character interaction in it.

This was a pretty neat game, with access to making the game easier by a non-consumable item EXP Booster giving you levels if you need them. And with grinding materials to restore and even boost your stats for the sexual encounters alongside the "regular" on-screen fights, it's pretty easy to get through.

I'm not a fan of the vampire girls, that's too creepy for me as they look too young (and by design!), but the rest were pretty damn hot.

It's worth playing through. Not a big ending, but the journey is to the end is what makes this game what it is.

This was neither good nor bad game. Just not my type. Kagura published better games. Why positive? You can't give neutral, that's why.

Surprisingly good. The game takes place in the succubus's castle and outlying dungeons. It's not a questing/adventure type game, but there is dialogue and scripted events that make the characters and place feel more alive and real. Some of the events are mechanically well done for a RPG-maker game.
The H-scenes usually come from combating monster girls in a dungeon (~1 every 3 levels in a dungeon). You do a sex-fight, then either you lose, get raped, and respawn back at the castle, or you win, and can "finish", after which you continue exploring the dungeon.
Combat isn't too hard. Slight grind. I liked the H-scenes, though they didn't blow me away. Usually there's a build-up till the H-scene, which i'm always a fan of - I hate games that go from 0 to 120 in a half second.
Very nice, the castle felt down-right homey by the end of it.

Whoa, a Dark Souls-like retro-styled JRPG, complete with a central hub and NPCs that will either help or hinder you at certain times but with an erotic twist, I like it.

Well, it's not THAT difficult, but it is mortifying for a man to be wrung dry by a woman that has a LOT stronger sexual drive during 'battle'.

Just as the game's description says, it offers you three ways to beat the game;
-Continue to be submissive and just enjoy them 'riding' you until you die.
-Be a weaksauce and try to escape.
-OR turn the tables around and attempt to dominate your dominator. (My personal choice, since it provides an extra level of challenge)

8 out of 10.

You don't really expect a nice story to accompany a game called Cage of Succubi, but colour me impressed. The story is actually quite nice and well written. You'll get to know a lot of the supporting characters around the place, and find out about the big bad final boss. All of them have their reasons as to why they're helping you, as you gradually get to know them.

Gameplay can be summed up as, kill tons of small fry enemies and gather items to craft drugs. Use those drugs to buff up your stats. Take the fight to the monster girls, rinse and repeat. It's not that hard if you play your cards right. Just use every drug you get, the downsides barely matter compared to the upsides.

The art is pretty good, and so are the scenes. And if you're wondering, no it's not all one sided. If you win, you win. *Wink* *Wink*

Folks calling this too challenging probably think Ideology in Friction's gameplay is just right. Which is hilarious, the fighting in that is literally "click the win button."

This is easy gameplay with high stakes rpg fights, and it's very doable if you're not braindead. Does it distract from the porn? Yes, yes it does, so I will say the game isn't a straight up jack off simulator. However, it gives you a reasonably fun gameplay/progression loop, and you can lose fairly often due to the rpg challenge, and see end scenes. So more than most, the sex is actually fairly integrated, even if you're doing pretty well. And the best part, it all builds up, there are consequences and no real game over screens. I dig that. Sex shouldn't be game over in a game. And it isn't here.

Fun game, the actual hentai here though is verrrrry basic. We're talking one image just being vibrated for 2 minutes along with visual novel text. I wish there was more art/variety to the actual sex, and I also wish there wasn't a loli, but you can avoid her easily enough. Literally everyone else is a big boobed mommy, so far at least. Two thumbs up.

I've been finishing this game one time cus its too easy to beat and I install the patch after that the game went to hard to clear the level bro, like there's an elf start casing you and if you get catch by her the battle start,if you you lose the battle you will get fck by her and then you enden up losing some stat and its get me so angry but i dunno what happen if you win tho cuz i never win with that bitch. So ya the story is 8.5/10 only problem is just the elf bitch

Overall, I love this style of this game. It has a basic but fun feel that reminds me of very early Final Fantasy, in certain ways. I have to give this a thumbs down, though, because even when I set the game to Easy mode there is no way to bypass the "quicktime" combat vs Monstergirls. I have a visual impairment that means it's literally impossible for me to do this in the small window provided, so the game fails my personal standards test.

Also, a word of warning to anyone who decides to buy this game anyways. Patch the game before you play. When I downloaded and installed the NSFW patch from the manufacturer, it broke my starter save games. Additionally, this game is a total mess without said patch. Always patch the game.

I'm doing my hardest to beat this game but even on easy mode, its way to unfair and punishing. there's no reason to play this game unless you hate yourself

This is one of those games it's hard to just rate as "yes" or "no". If I had to give it points, I'd say... 6? 6.5?/10
So, yeah, I think it's good to get on sale.

Apparently people complained about the difficulty, but in the end I don't think it was that hard. At first you are no match for even the first "monster girl" but you are supposed to avoid them while getting stronger first. Honestly, by the time I reached the second part of the first dungeon it was much easier and by the end I had to slow down so I could get all the events before tackling the final boss. The QTEs aren't that bad, again, just keep in mind the first tries are meant to be hard, they get slower the more you try.
My issues with the game are mostly art related:
- The art quality varies quite a bit, pretty sure a couple of the girls were drawn by a different person and to be honest, I wish that person had made all the art.
- The ending was extremely disappointing. Were you hoping after all your efforts to get a hot battle with the final succubus? Well... yes and no. There is a battle but it doesn't have any new art (unless you count color swapping new art). And that's it, you don't get any new scene or anything after the battle. If you are just playing to hunt art, you can stop after fighting the marionette girl in the last dungeon.
- Maybe this a minor gripe, but I wish there were more events with the maid. You only get to battle her as any other enemy but there were many missed chances to add more events around the castle, like the bath or in bed.

Still, for 5$ or so it was entertaining enough.
