Synty Studios assets, hell yeah! Overall, a charming game, I like it.
However, here's a a little feedback for the developer.
I only played co-op mode, but on there, the travel menu is confusing - it seems like "okay" would make you travel, when in truth, you have to wait 10 seconds, and both buttons will cancel. Waiting for travel is also annoying, I would rather have my friend press that they are "ready" or something like that.
The map could use some indicator of where you are. There could also be some sort of tutorial in the beginning, it's a little confusing at first.

This game was such a surprise. My family and I were just looking for a sandbox-y type co-op game and stumbled across this. It is so charming and well done for being an early access game. The cats are adorable and the way the "class" system works is hilarious. I'm really looking forward to further expansions/updates to this game. There are a few glitchy things that make co-op gameplay a little annoying but overall, I fully enjoy and would recommend this for groups of family/friends.

An incredibly interesting adventure, and even with an open world. The graphics are made in low poly style. Your task is to explore the world and move forward. There is still an opportunity to play with friends, but I haven't tried it yet.

The game evokes positive emotions. Although the release was in early access, it is nevertheless pleasant to play. There are not a lot of bugs and problems. A worthy project for fans of the genre.

A cool game about a cat that ended up in the Middle Ages :)Absolutely diverse locations and adventures await you. The controls are generally comfortable, but I would like to improve some of the settings.

I thought for a long time whether it was worth buying this game. In the end, I decided to buy while there is a discount. In general, I liked it, the graphics are nice, we play as a cat and explore the world.

II regret buying this. It looked cute. The graphics are terrrible, the mechanics are clunky and I can't seem to save the game.

wow, this is really not a standard game, a cat as a character) is not very standard. The physics of the cat's movement is not bad at all and is truthful, with the exception of some points. I was glad that you can play not only alone but also with friends over the network. We are waiting for the second part where the character will be a dog, or another pet, I would look at it and play))

So having "Completed" this game here is what you need to know. When you boot up the game you can pick a cat to play as, pick tiger, then just go at it. There is no real order to how to go about doing things. However you need to get the Force Collar to be able to beat the game. So after you talk to the king cat head down to the castle dungeon and kill some rats. Then proceed to DIE, ALOT, don't worry though just keep throwing yourself at the big rat and he will die.

Then grab your new Force Collar and head on down to the crypt in the farm area and grab the only spell worth getting, Rageblade. This spell is a monster at destroying enemies foolish enough to try and stop you. Able to kill just about anything within seconds. You will also notice you can upgrade it any would recommend doing so when ever you have enough candy (the games currency) to do so. Best way to use it is jumping in circles around the enemy.

Now with those in paw, you remember the Force Collar? Go over to the orc valley entrance, clear the way and then throw the Force Collar in the trash. Well after 3 quests that require it in orc valley to get the Halo (regen 1 hp a second), up to you if you want it or not.

Then the rest is up to you, however I do recommend getting the Spirit Kabuto (double jump) (found in Sushima) as it makes the Dark Lands easier to get to after collecting all the gems.
(note you do have to return to the king cat after getting the gems to get the quest to kill the final boss)
Also probably want the Runners Helm, (50% faster running speed) near the Wildpath portal found in the fort in the distance. Named what else but "Fort Knight" thanks I hate it.

Remember how Rageblade made things easy? Yeah the final boss don't care. Spend exp on melee because enemies with shields have a chance of blocking Rageblade and that's very bad if you like living. The boss hits like a truck and has a lot of health, though the shield can still block the melee, if you can spam harder and don't get hit enough you'll be fine. Go back to king cat and proclaim yourself the all claw no meow bad-ass slayer of the land, and take a well deserved cat nap.

Lets talk Pros and Cons.

Pros:
- you are a cat
- spells and crap
- riding animals as mounts and people
- good sized world
- each location feels different
- can be a fun casual game
- has some limited speed tech (examples: wall jumping and surf boosting. surf boosting being more limited and situational.)
- is not that expensive
- decently fun collectibles
- haha cat with rageblade go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
- climb everything (except gates and doors that open)
- multi-player (i didn't test it but its there)
- quick load times
- chests respawn through load zones (pro/con)
- enemies respawn through load zones (pro/con)
- hats
- cat choices but not really

Cons
- spells as of writing this are LOUD af and are not tied to the settings, to mute them you have to open sound mixer.
- exp grind is REAL bad, 95% enemies give you 3 exp with 5% giving you 10 exp. level 4 upgrades cost 1500 exp as an
example
- candy the games currency is found in $5 $25 and $100 chests and guess which ones you'll be finding mostly, yep the $5
chests. Chests do respawn through loading zones however so if you farm the entrance to the Dark lands you get $25 a go.
($31 with pirate hat)
- characters you meet are blank af and are generally boring and easily forgotten.
- now remember how i said "Completed" the game? well i did mostly I'm missing 2 pieces of a hat and 1 mf quest. escort
the lost girl omg I HATE THIS QUEST. I cannot complete it because she has no ai nodes to path her correctly so she gets
stuck on the mountains or is at the path be refuses to just walk forward. So avoid it for now it needs patchwork.
- can't use any of the cool weapons in the environment even with force collar
- dungeons and cave layouts are the same for the most part
- bosses are pretty underwhelming except for the final boss
- enemy types are pretty limited
- ranged spells suck don't even bother
- map is not helpful
- cant tell what you've collected as they stay visible in the world and respawn through load zones
- have to reopen door/switches when entering a dungeon again / load zones

I had a good time, played 8 hours roughly and did 99.8% of everything there was to do. I think this is a great game to just go with it and have fun. It can be a bit meh with some things but its early access so no big deal.

Art style/Graphics: 7/10
Gameplay/Quests: 6/10
Combat: 6/10 (spin to win)
Movement: 4/10 (takes some time to get around)
Story: 2/10 (its kinda there?)
Characters 0/10

Overall Game Score 6/10
Cat with Rageblade score 8/10 kinda funny.

A fun and cute game about magical cats. The graphic design fits perfectly into the atmosphere without straining your eyes. The game quickly captures the attention and it becomes difficult to break away from it. The music is wonderful, the game has something to do. For casting spells-a separate like.

We all love cats, because cats are one of the most popular and beloved animals on our planet. And when you and your friends become these cats on a large open map, then it turns into something unrealistically cool! The game has many interesting tasks that become even cooler in co-op with friends. My favorite thing was to fly out of the bombard :D

his game is so fun to play with your pals, it supports up to 8 players and it has tons of quests. Keep in mind this game is in early access and so there are a few quirks to work with, but the devs are amazing and look at everyone's bug reports and CONSTANTLY update the game and improve it. Very excited to keep playing and see where this game goes!

This game is so fun! I just completed a full run of it using co op with a friend and we had an absolute blast! If you enjoy cats this is a game for you! The mechanics are very simple, which makes it easy to just get lost in the colorful world. I loved all the different zones and how each one was themed. The combat is pretty simplistic, but some of the boss fights were harder than others, but nothing truly difficult, which made it very fun to just explore the map and collect everything! We had a great time just exploring the world and collecting everything! One of my favorite parts of this game was collecting all the hats. The wizard school and the pirate themed area were probably my favorite parts of the map. It's hard to really choose what I enjoyed the most out of this game, it was just so fun! Really hope there's more cat games in the future because I loved this so much! :D

Very addictive game!! Controls are easy to catch up, I completed 7 quests in an average of 2 hours. Music is entertaining and the cat is cute! The game is auto saving so you just need to pick up the same cat as the last time. I will edit my comment after more hours spend in this game. Does it worth the price? Definitely, try it!! I can't wait to try the CO-OP mode!

We're having a lot of fun playing this. The developers are super cool and always welcome to input. The worlds are fun to explore, and have a lot of quests to keep you busy while you work on completing the main story quest. Fun graphics and forgiving gameplay make it a game you can easily pick up and play. Worth every penny.

Cat gets Medieval? More like Skyrim gets cat! Why wait 5 years for Bethesda to release Elder Scrolls 6 when you can play this now and be a cat? You get to be a cat. You get to knock everything over. You can attack the chickens without getting arrested. You can take quests. Did I mention you get to be a cat? There are different areas with the cutest music. If you haven't grabbed your chalice of mead and changed your entire wardrobe to that of the 14th-century before playing the game, you will want to after just a few minutes.

In all seriousness, I have a lot of fun playing this and it's easy enough for players like me with...less than ample gaming skills. I don't feel like there is enough of a tutorial to understand all of the controls but it's not difficult to understand. If I can figure it out and enjoy the game, I feel like anyone can. The graphics are super adorable and the cat-based names are precious. I can't wait to see all of what this game has to offer!

Bitzii

Look, you get to play as a cat with magical powers. You grab onto horses and ride into the sunset. You steal orcs pigs and take them to OTHER orcs, and you can uppercut dogs to death. I don't know what else to say. Its funny and goofy but it is right up my alley. If you want a game that doesn't take itself seriously and lets you just goof off, then this is the game for you. Did I mention that cats you encounter have punny names? Its cute. If you want something to really relax and just PLAY this is it.

My rating? Meow/10

I, honestly, didn't know what to expect from this game. I figured it would be a little indie game to far around with, maybe it'd be cute and fun, but I really wasn't expecting what I got. This game is actually pretty amazing.

In Cat Gets Medieval you play as, you guessed it, a feline! You get to roam around doing all the things normal felines do such as knocking stuff off the tables, eating food that doesn't belong to you, clawing your way up draperies, and being a natural, but lovable, jerk. That said, this is a Fantasy RPG and our cats are MAGICAL!

It starts off with you being able to climb simply more than just drapes. Wanna go up walls like Spiderman? Yep. Wanna cast spells like Merlin? Yep! Want to raid dungeons, slaughter skeletons, hunt orcs, and slay dragons? YEP! Wanna do quests that earn you XP (and candy) so you can upgrade your skills and feline-wearable items? YESSSSSS!!!!

Even though Cat Gets Medieval is still fairly early access, and it does have it's bugs, you get the feeling that it's always going to be a special little fun game. Most of the bugs I encountered were due to either impatience, a multiplayer glitch, or multiple players doing the same mission. For example, one mission you need to scare chickens to get eggs. If you keep running around and scaring them you might only get a few eggs before you notice none more drop. If you go away from the location, then come back, I find more eggs will drop. This was similar to the "steal the wallets" quest, where we had 3 players running around the city scaring people to get them to drop their wallets. While some easily got the 10 wallets they needed, others struggled. In both of these cases we found that leaving the map and doing a dungeon, or simply warping to the map's waypoint, reset the villagers/chickens so you could collect from them again. One of the somewhat frustrating bugs in multiplayer, however, was shared questing. It seemed at times when one player would collect an item (say the aforementioned egg) only some of the other players would get the benefit. Some players wouldn't have to collect anything, getting quest credit when others did, while others had to collect everything personally. This wasn't a game-breaking bug, but it was annoying to the players who had to do everything themselves.

All in all I really love this game, and the Multiplayer is fantastic. If you're on the fence about the game then go ahead and get it. It's a lot of fun, especially in a group.

I only recommend this game if you have a lot of friends to play it. The game itself doesn't have much to offer, but it has the elements to make playing with friends enjoyable.

Pros:
- Can hide the HUD that makes most RPG games unimmersive
- Controls are dead simple
- Maps don't take ages to load, but it's low poly so ideally there shouldn't be any stop-the-world loading
- Your face points to where you're looking, making things look less static
- Emotes. Emotes that don't stop what you're doing.

Cons:
- Need to manually complete quests by double clicking a menu item when you're done (lmao why?)
- UI is one of the grossest abominations I've seen.
- Hitboxes are very, very sloppy. Especially for a low poly game.
- Combat is very bland. Yet another "shoot it until it dies" type of game. Enemies all have one attack and you can simply walk away to avoid most attacks.
- Tutorials are talking to random NPCs, you know, the worst way to do a tutorial. So I could see someone missing some important info in some of the first missions that are 2 maps away to learn. This gets compounded by the issue that interactions aren't very noticeable.
- The biggest issue is there isn't much to do. It heavily relies on your friends to bring the fun, so there's no single player value. 99% of the game is walking around on a clear path.

My advice is that this game has all the elements needed for puzzles, racing, parkour, etc. Simply adding some of that in would give the story some sort of play value. This would be the smallest investment for the highest reward. Then maybe I'd move the NPCs that give tutorial dialog near where that objective is (like setting orcs on fire).

So enjoyable and relaxing to play! I'm absolutely loving the game so far.

It surprised me with how much there's more to the game!! Constantly discovering things as I go

Hope to play it with more cats (friends) someday. Solo is just as fun though!
