Great game! I used to play a similar 2D game back in the DOS days called Incredible Machines. This is that on steroids and I love it.
Brings back good old memories from The Incredible Machines.
Remember the good old days of The Incredible Machine? I need say no more. A visually appealing puzzle game that will amuse you for hours on end. very happy i found this as it brings back fond memories of my 386 PC.
Very clever game. Highly recommended.
Good, fun puzzles - similar to the old Incredible Machines games. Recommended!
Great fun and good learning for the kids too.
played for 26 minutes It's a good physic game
Good graphics good levels especially it has an workshop, it's good you should try it
Very good game for someone who was hooked as a child to the incredible machine series!
Playing with my daughter now, I can clearly see physics puzzles are good fun 25 years later.
Having a blast, you will too :)
It's a so-so puzzle game. It ISN'T as good as the Incredible Machine Series because in this game you seem to have to put things 'exactly' the way the developers wanted you to (no freedom to create your own solution).
IF you can get it for about 6 bucks or less I'd say it's worth it as there are still a few bugs in the software (sometimes items just disappear from your inventory and sometimes the game just Locks Up your computer when exiting).
It just doesn't feel polished, if that makes any sense, and all of those little mistakes tend to take away from the enjoyment.
That said, however, you will get a ton of puzzle time if the few glitches in the software don't keep nagging at you like it did me. The MAIN game seems to work well but when you start to do the EXTRA puzzles that are included, things just seem to begin to fall apart and that left a bad feeling about the game as a whole. So much so that I just got fed up with the extras, came here to review, and then just deleted it so that I wouldn't have to see it again.
I think if the developers would have just put out the main game and DIDN'T include the extra 'stuff', it would have been MUCH better. That extra 'stuff' is what gave the entire game a negative vibe.
Its a very exact puzzle game, there is most likely only 1 possible way. This is a tiny bit frustrating sometimes and can take away from the fun but getting this game for $1 is a steal
Great little game if you like simple engineering stuff. But bare in mind it's like a fixed puzzle, not very open to own solution.
The challenges were fun. Took some trial and error to figure most of them. Some what challenging to figure out how they are suppose to work some times. Each puzzle is a new challenge as the parts and pieces are used differently. Rather short game though,
Bro these machines are pretty crazy
If you played The Incredible Machine back in the 90s you'll find this game captures that essence absolutely perfectly, while of course adding in physics which makes the whole concept infinitely more enjoyable. On top of that, there's a very huge amount of content - the Devs had the foresight to include workshop support and community made puzzles, which means there's a near endless amount of puzzles to play through. Seriously, if you like this game then you can play for a very, very long time before running out of puzzles. And as a person who's into puzzle games, that's awesome. Most puzzle games can be beaten entirely in a few hours so it's nice to know that replayability is built right in.
I highly recommend this game to basically anyone who's even remotely a fan of puzzle games, even just to witness how nifty and well made it is.

The game is really really nice. The graphic is super beautiful and the game itself very funny. Loving the editor and the possibility to share my machines and parts. Well Done guys!!! I want more of it!
Thought I'd give this a go since it was being given away for free and it's a pretty solid game. Not of my particular taste but not a bad game either. Definitely worth the asking price.
Low stress, fun concepts and visuals.
i was amazed by how crazy the machines were
Игра для того чтобы подумать и отвлечься от суеты. 10 харви из 10
The later levels require that you put pieces in a very specific and precise spot. It's more frustrating than anything.
It's an interesting game, some of the puzzles are ... puzzling. Like lightbulb producing electricity for a solar panel. Rather weird. Also some solutions doesn't work, even though they should, so you have to google the solution. And you have to question yourself why the official solution works, and yours - no. And so on. Honestly, I bought it very cheaply so I recommend it at that price, it's fun thing to tease your brain. But welll, some things should work and they don't and that's annoying.
This game is an awesome learning tool for anyone who is interested in machines or engineering or any type of mechanics or robots, as it teaches you to solve simple but yet hard problems using quick thinking and basic skills you never knew you even had!
Fun! Not a fan of the gears at first, but realized they only connect on the main top/bottom/left/right not diagonals.
Vibes of "The Incredible Machine" but in modern graphics.
Puzzles are way more interresting compared to Contraption Maker in my book.
The game is really nice and funny, but cost lots of time...
its very fun and somtimes quite hard to find the right awnser but its very fun
Very fun physics based puzzle game.
Had to use every my brain's cell to think even 101% IQ to win the game.
This is a kind of game i watched videos of. And enjoyed them very much. Its a thinking puzzle game you have to put different objects in a right place to make a chain reaction.
This game is just a nice bit of stupid puzzle-solving fun. Can't complain. It's a delight.
A steal at $0.99...Fantastic fun for kids-adults.
Not a bad successor to The Incredible Machine series. Could've been better though.
Writing this just to remember the name of the mentioned series, to revisit it someday.
This game gets a "Thumb Up" from me on Steam!!
(in all seriousness, though, great follow-up to a game from my childhood)
Way worse than Crazy Machines 2. The 3D Graphics are definitely more of a hinderance than helpful and the maps seem more streamlined and onesided than ever, with barely any experimentation.
Basically this game is a simulation of those crazy ball rolling, domino contraption videos you see. You can complete scenes where you basically fix a pre set up and make it work or sandbox completely build your own.
I first attempted the Halloween puzzles and I literally couldn't do the first one after staring at it for 20 mins while swiftly losing interest . It is quite complicated and Id only suggest if you're really interested in this kind of thing.
It's currently 90% off, at $1. Definitely worth it! Some of the puzzles can be annoying and frustrating, but overall it's a pretty enjoyable casual puzzle game.
Reminds me of my childhood playing The Incredible Machine. 10/10
I still remember playing the first game when it was out in the 90s. Crazy Machines taught me a lot about the way things work. Unlike the usually contrived or use-a-walkthrough type of puzzles you annoyingly come across in games, Crazy Machines is really about engineering and finding unique ways to solve problems. Crazy Machines 3 is a worthy successor to the original. The physics is very realistic except when the Aliens are trying to send you a giggle. The puzzles are very enjoyable, and I'm barely starting the game. The music is great and the ambiance is laid-back. This game is for those who enjoy the sound of gears grinding in their heads.
Crazy Machines 3 has potential but feels very unpolished. It is not bad game at all but definitely misses better level design and progression system. I played main campaign and only few levels were great and challenging. Some levels felt so unrewarding eg I completed many just by coincidence or mistake because level design allowed it. In some you have to guess target position of items moving them by 1px just so the game is happy... Levels difficulty is another pain in the ass with so many filler levels. And you know there is some fundamental design issue when the last 10 levels are easier then half of the game.
Holy smokes, never expected to be this impressed by a game like this. The game adds new dimensions of difficulty gradually and integrates them effectively. The graphics, the visual and aural ambiance are meticulous and adds another layer of enjoyment to this game. The gratification I got from thinking through and finishing these levels is great. I would say however, if there is one con, it's that this game makes you feel kind of dumb at first.
I've completed every puzzle in each of "The Incredible Machines" games numerous times. My experiences with Crazy Machines 1 & 2 are somewhat limited. I own both of the games on DVD, but have only passed a third of the first games levels.
Who cares, as if any of that matters. If you like puzzles, buy this game.
this game raised my IQ by at least 50
Classic game involving Rube Goldberg puzzles. My VRAM is FAR too week for this game but I tweaked the resolution and it works perfect!
If you like The Incredible Machine franchises, this is the type of game you would enjoy for sure! Please pay attention that there are still minor differences between the two games, as Crazy Machine 3 doesn't allow rotation of gadgets.
If you have kid I highly recommend taking the time to play this WITH them. Its so much fun watching them figure these puzzles out. Worth a play even with no kids, but really way better with them. ++ for nostalgic Incredible Machines vibes.

Bit weird but doesn't suck entirely
Great game! Makes you think, while having fun.
Nighthawk's Score: 6.5/10
It's fun and graphics are a great step up from previous versions, but major issue I have with the game is the lack of piece rotation is a HUGE step back. It really limits the creativity to solve the puzzles which is why most find these games enjoyable. Because of this, and that the environments clash with pieces too much, the solutions are pretty limited in a lot of cases which is a major bummer. It's great for kids to learn physics based problem solving skills and as puzzles they are fun to do, but for coming up with truly creative solutions to the built-in puzzles it leaves a lot to be desired.
Really great game. Old memories...
very good game i was playing cm 1 when i was young. this game very nostalgic
I went crazy solving the challenges but had fun. Definitely will recommend this to my friends.
Brings back the nostalgia of trying to figure out how to put the basket through the hoop on my old windows xp computer. Thank you for this, it means a lot to me, holds much more value than just a videogame
A great game to play with one's children.
Do you love puzzle games? This one will not disappoint you :)
A strategy puzzle game that could rack your brain cells which you have to solve puzzles with certain item that are available witch sound easy but some time not that easy
It also has a clever level design editor to create and experiment with different materials unlimited supply of parts and levels to make your own and share in the steam workshop
Nice brain teasers maybe a little difficult sometime
They are crazy, they are machines, and they are 3
Really good game. I remember playing it cracked on 2017 and now I bought it finally awesome!
If you like solving and creating machines, this game is for you!
SUPER satisfying and has such fun puzzles with cute litte creturs
My son and I love to play this game together. Fun puzzles
awesome puzzle game for killing time
O jogo não faz jus ao The Incredible Machine.
A mecânica não é boa, o jogo em si não é bom. Sou fã do TIM, ainda assim este jogo não desceu bem.
Puzzle game, not sandbox in any way
Its classic Crazy Machines with a dimensional twist and tons of new gadgets!
good but stupid monkey brain holds it back
Very nice game. Intuitive puzzles and apparently quite relaxing
Good game, really evokes the original.
Only complaint is that the more complex backgrounds can make it difficult to decipher what you are looking at.
This is much better than it's previous versions. Definitely worth it!
Downvote for the minigames with awful controls
ive only played the first chapter and tutorial but this game is amazing
i love the challenge of solving it so much i genuinely think this game is worth the price.
good job guys :))
