I got here because i thought about cyberpunk 2077, so why not? Game is amazing, especially when thinking about price. It is simple but i love those easter eggs and how the developers thought about dystopian future converted into cube world. I recommend using markers so u wont get lost in city and in your progress through game. Only thing is that you must remember everything you read because you cant repeat conversations. But still, the game is definitely worth it!!!

CuberPunk 2089 is a funky little game which tries to catch the essence of Blade Runner and do that with the lowest possible budget. There is numerous side quests which aren't too complicated, but entertaining enough to provide joy for a couple of hours it takes to complete. Graphics are cubic and I did feel like falling in the Lego Land when I started the game, but in a good way - environment is free to explore and bright neon colors please an eye. If I should point some con for the game, as cheap as this was, it was the quality of English grammar. Nevertheless it is a good game and worth of your buck.

This game feels hallow and has no sense of direction, and plus the map is confusing and hard to navigate since everything that isn't a neon color is pretty much as a good as pitch black

perfect alternative to cyberpunk 2077.

I'm a big fan of futuristic sci-fi, so I thought I would give this a try, but frankly it just doesn't hold up. Sure the graphical design is great, with all the neon lights looking very atmospheric and comforting. The music is okay as well, reminiscent of 80's style. But within minutes I could tell this wasn't the one for me. Some awkward text dialogue, very minimalistic environment with a feeling of isolation, and the feeling of a point and click (combined together) did not engage me at all. Sorry. Hope others have a better time with it than I did.

Who needs cyberpunk 2077 when you can play 2089 right now?

A fun little game for a worthy price. Running around and solving puzzles and completing quests was fun, characters were quirky and interesting, and the music is great! Only main concerns are the translated English grammar which can make solving some quests difficult or throw off the meaning of dialogue, no control scheme to reference what buttons do or remap them, no clear indication of what some items are in the shops, and the overall length being

Pros:
+Exploring is suprisingly fun
+You get what you pay for

Cons:
-Stamina bar, just so exploring won't be too much fun.
-Every quest is a fetch mission where you have to drag an item from place A to place B while holding the left mouse button all the way there.
-You can easily accidentally place any item inside a wall, making it impossible to get it back, and to finish any quest related to that item.
-If you spend too much money, you're SOL. Gotta start over.
-There's a flying camera drone that will fart at you, and you'll have to medicate yourself or you will die.
-Cube graphics

If you're looking to spend 1€ on whatever, there are worse things than this.

Pretty terrible game, poor grammar. Not even good as a walking simulator.

It isn't fun, it isn't funny, it looks good, but it is just a bunch of crappy generic quests in a city.

Basically GTA but retro-like and a lot worse.

This is actually a fun game. It's an unpolished open-world, RPG. It's rough around the edges when starting. Thankfully the markers help putting labels and get things in order.

The upsides are:
-open-world, RPG, cube-style.
-pretty simplified and not too complex.
-all achievements are easily obtainable. Some require a guide though, but not hard to obtain.

The downsides are:
-English grammar needs work
-There needs to be ways to review quest. Once you read it, you can easily forget. The markers help though.
-Hotkeys need guess work to start off. Developers should have a guide somewhere.

Still a decent game for the lowest price possible.

It looks like it would be fun, but using doors and items is still very buggy cant play game without hassle of poor core mechanics.

first off, 90% of the people rating the game good have 0.3 hours on it max. that alone tells u it has 0 replayability, or rather 0 PLAYABILITY. ITS SHIT.

this game isnt worth any money at all even for the 50 cents i paid for it tbh.
theres literally nothing to do lmao i opened like 8 doors and they all had a bed, a tv, and maybe a computer thats it.
all the same.

literally nothing to do. you cant even drive or steal a car. very low effort game >.>

It's a game to play in your free time but by no means its matches the quality of skyrim, cyberpunk, or even any other AAA games. The dev has started rolling out updates again but i would like to see content and the addition of basic features like inventory and a task list.

Before anyone says anything about play time and "Didn't you get your money's worth" quite a bit of it was testing issues I found with the game and having to replay quite a bit to get there to test it.

So I'll do a Positives and negatives for people.

Positives:
+ I'm pretty sure it's not an asset flip.
+ The game sort of has a story.
+ The game does have more to just walking about to it it's not fully a walking sim type game
+ There are some nice ideas seemingly being tried out and tested here.

Negatives
- It's possible to screw up so you can't complete the game if you buy the wrong items or get poisoned more than about once. In theory you could get lucky and use a roulette wheel style system to get more money but relying on luck to win (assuming the wheel isn't rigged in your favour) seem like a big problem. You also can't sell back the extra items you may have bought.
- The game seems really poorly optimised
- Dialogue remains on screen until you dismiss it even if you're no-where near the person speaking.
- Certain quest allow you to put more than the required items into them.
- The hacking minigame somehow has obvious screen tear when you're moving
- The stamina bar just sometimes disappears for no reason.
- You can end up in a mode where Zombies spawn in the city and can walk through buildings this bug also breaks / resets a number of quests too.
- Quest dialogue is said once and not repeated so if you forget a piece of info you have to either start the game again or hope you can manage the quest by luck.
- I had one playthrough where one of the main quests just stopped working and the dialogue needed to advance wouldn't show up

Overall
For what I'm guessing is a developer starting out with little experience it shows promise for future games but as is the game really is bad.
If you're a student of game design you might want to look at this game to see how NOT to do things and why things like an easy way to see the game controls by looking in a menu or listing quest dialogue or allowing players to hear the info again is important too, along with having people QA test a game to find issues and bugs.

That feeling when you eat an unfrosted poptart and you're unhappy but it's still good because it's a poptart, that's this game but with frosting.

Funny little game to waste time on while we wait for the real cyberpunk.

SMOOREZ

Game is fairly polished with it's retro detailing and 80's feel but lacks a general direction.
I didn't really get into much, maybe I didn't give it enough time.

This game tries to catch the hype of Cyberpunk 2077, but with a square world. And the game itself is really fun when you learn how to play, because in the beginning it doesn't explain much what you have to do, only that you have to fix your car and get out of CubeCity (city of the game) because it is having an epidemic (ironic, isn't it?). So you are thrown on this map, which is not very big, where you can enter some building and house, there you will usually speak with an artificial intelligence, who will ask you to do some quests, the detail is that once I get it the quest is not shown anywhere else on this active quest, so my advice is to take screenshots of the quests so you don't get lost.
The quests in summary is a back and forth of items, along with some hacking tasks with a very cool mini-game.
Once you collect the parts to fix your car, you get in it and leave the city and so the game is over.
I confess that at the beginning I was quite lost, not knowing what to do. I tried several times to play the game, but it never made sense until I was able to understand what had to be done in a quest, only then did I understand how the game works. I had a lot of fun from that moment on, despite being a short game, there are some funny moments.
In promotion he is almost free, so give him a chance, it's very cool.

Pretty neat visuals, creative concept, and enough interesting NPC dialogue to keep you playing for a while. Held back by a few things, but for sure worth the price on sale.

Most of the game, you'll be running around, doing fetch quests. The game is boring and the dialog is uninteresting. I did not like it.

This is a fun and relaxing game, with easy achievements and simple visuals, yet a somewhat nice soundtrack - although the main theme was taken from Cyberpunk 2077.

I got this game when I was hyped for Cyberpunk, the game is cheap, so I thought "Why not?". This game has easy quests, lets us leave marks on the map, and has quite some Easter Eggs around! We can also get two upgrades for ourselves and collect coins.

The only few negative things I have to point out are the bad English - sometimes - unless it was on purpose, but some phrases were weirdly formed, maybe a bad translation? It's not a big deal, though. Another thing was the lack of an inventory system, it's fine that we can drag the items, but these don't have collision, so they can get lost through walls. And for last, driving the car was bizarre, it kept shaking as if it was clipping through something, I assume that is a bug. Either way, all of these negative points can be dealt with and don't ruin the game experience that much.
