CURSES deals with the basic tropes of magic: tarot, Ouija boards, potions, etc. While I don't mind dealing with stereotypical magical concepts, and was actually excited to explore the ones mentioned in relation to emotions; a snarky familiar; and the desire to find yourself, I didn't feel as though it didn't feel very well researched and was bored by the ability to choose emotions and their strange attempted impact on the story. I didn't run into any bugs as others mentioned, however, the game itself felt as though it was nowhere near fleshed out or even understanding of actual teen angst or the other subject material. 3/10

I'm dissapointed in this game... The graphics were verry cool and this game gave me sally's face vibes, so I was really excited to buy it and play it. But the choices we make dosen't really have an impact on this game and in the end, there's just text on the screen telling how your caracter feel. I really don't know, i'm sad that it was just this :(

I did the game twice to be sure it didn't end weirdly ( it end quickly, nothing feel solve ) but nope. The two times I did it with differents choices, it end up bassically the same.

The style really look cool, I think it's just that what ever you decide nothing really happen despite the build up.

I feel bad but i wouldn't get that game if I were you :(

( I speak french, so sorry if that evalutation make no sens )

I can't say whether or not I recommend this game yet, I don't feel like I've got enough gameplay in for that. Unfortunately I'm having a hard time actually making progress in the game because it keeps freezing. I'm not sure if some of the options just aren't fleshed out or what, but I've been anticipating this game, and the amount of issues it's giving me are disappointing. I'm hoping an update fixes whatever is causing this, because I really love the concept.

Beautiful art, angsty teen emotional processing, and deeply pleasant music - this game has got it all! I did a first play through in about 40 minutes but made choices knowing I would definitely go through it again, to explore the alternative paths. I'm happy with my choices, the consequences of my actions, and the idea that there is still more in the game to explore and experience. Looking forward to future play throughs!

I was pretty excited about this game, but sadly was met with issues from the start.

I like the art and the cringe dialogue between the girl and her cat. The link of emotion to magic. All good. However, once going through the first few minutes it will then let you look around for your spell book. When I go clicking around- my game crashes. I thought- hey it happens. New game. Well I reload only to find out it doesn't save your progress at all and I have to click through all the conversations and such that I have already done. I finally get back to the same part where I crash and it happens again. At this point I am just annoyed. I have wasted half an hour and I am sad because the game isn't working.

I love the idea of the game, I was really looking forward to playing it but it doesn't seem ready to play. I am asking for a refund- maybe in time the bugs will be fixed and it would be worth playing- however it is not ready just yet.

I enjoyed this game very much. The cat is cute, the dialouge is clever, but most imoportantly is asks you to consider your feelings.
I think it is an important part of emotional intelligence to be able to grasp your own feelings and talk them through. If you can see joy in this as gameplay I recommend this game to you.
