I can't say whether or not I recommend this game yet, I don't feel like I've got enough gameplay in for that. Unfortunately I'm having a hard time actually making progress in the game because it keeps freezing. I'm not sure if some of the options just aren't fleshed out or what, but I've been anticipating this game, and the amount of issues it's giving me are disappointing. I'm hoping an update fixes whatever is causing this, because I really love the concept.
Beautiful art, angsty teen emotional processing, and deeply pleasant music - this game has got it all! I did a first play through in about 40 minutes but made choices knowing I would definitely go through it again, to explore the alternative paths. I'm happy with my choices, the consequences of my actions, and the idea that there is still more in the game to explore and experience. Looking forward to future play throughs!
I was pretty excited about this game, but sadly was met with issues from the start.
I like the art and the cringe dialogue between the girl and her cat. The link of emotion to magic. All good. However, once going through the first few minutes it will then let you look around for your spell book. When I go clicking around- my game crashes. I thought- hey it happens. New game. Well I reload only to find out it doesn't save your progress at all and I have to click through all the conversations and such that I have already done. I finally get back to the same part where I crash and it happens again. At this point I am just annoyed. I have wasted half an hour and I am sad because the game isn't working.
I love the idea of the game, I was really looking forward to playing it but it doesn't seem ready to play. I am asking for a refund- maybe in time the bugs will be fixed and it would be worth playing- however it is not ready just yet.
I enjoyed this game very much. The cat is cute, the dialouge is clever, but most imoportantly is asks you to consider your feelings.
I think it is an important part of emotional intelligence to be able to grasp your own feelings and talk them through. If you can see joy in this as gameplay I recommend this game to you.
