While I'm all for boxing games this one falls short a lot. It's graphically impressive and have small details like muscle flexes and sounds but the gameplay is very stiff and lacks offline modes and there's no customization options. The players are chosen randomly between two or three models. There was an online mode but it was discontinued so now you can only play the two offline modes left available, tutorial and quick play. Its a bit underwhelming.

Why is steam selling a demo version of which we can get for free from the devs website. There is only 2 icons in the menu active which is training and fight now(against AI only) I can't play multiplayer or go to the shop or anything else.

For 9$ this is like a ghetto fight night... Has a lot of potential . Nice graphix and pretty simple game curve. It has some bugs in menus at the moment but is overall gameplay is very good and fun . Highly recommended for all the boxing fans looking for that itch and have a controller.

My review is plainly for PC. I am not sure how it runs on gaming consoles but definitely would not recommend it to anyone using a PC.
1) The game loading / screen load times are painfully long
2) The training and control prompts are for only gaming consoles, so you'll really have to struggle to make it work for the PC
3) Unbelievably the toughest part of this game is navigating the main menu using a pc. All you can do is exit or select whatever is highlighted. Nothing else.

Dev ditched this game day one. Unable to login the game to play online multiplayer. Pass this one.

Edit: As of 1/4/2021 the Devs are alive and well and finally updating it.. The update made a huge difference. Also just don't expect a response they don't ever talk to the community.. Anyways I'm now enjoying the game. Keep up the good work devs.

Its a good game, it has a lot of potential, I just cant seem to register to play online or log in. If Devs can fix that I will be very happy

The game seems abandon by devs looks like it would of been good. Plus your not able to login or sign up and the free version online is the same version as this one on steam yet the beta version online works what a waste. I think they did this on purpose or at least it seems that way.

This is not good at all. The graphics are very bad. The menus are low res like the whole game. The gameplay is very bad. The boxers are stiff and do not have combo system. It's not really boxing more like swing and evade? It wouldn't matter how many updates this game receives its like a cell phone game but worse.

The fights are fun and online matches start up quickly. Ranking system seems to be a work in progress as I can see no real stats for my fighter. Tournaments also seem to be broken at this time. You can play against NPC fighters or online both are alot of fun but not polished by any means.

Only progress I can see is with the coins. You start off with 1000 silver coins and depending if you win or lose online fights you get or lose 10 coins. These coins are used to buy Gloves, Shorts, and Shoes for your fighter but the cheapest thing is 5k silver coins so get ready to grind those coins. If tournaments worked and you can place in it grind wouldn't be so bad. You can also purchase another kind of currency with real money to but the cosmetics.

The fighting it best with controller in my opinion but can be done with keyboard. If the Devs keep updating this game it will be great one day but they need to do it before someone else releases a better product. I recommend this game but would advise to get it on sale.

Its a good straight foward boxing game with alot of potential.
Needs to get its log in server up and running on steam, as of right now I can not log in through steam and
im playing using the free version for their pvp online.

Its worth the 10 bucks if they can get it up and running smoothly and try to give it more support.

THIS GAME IS THE FUCKING WORST GAME I HAVE EVER BOUGHT IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.

The game has Potential.

If you buy it, just know you're not getting the finished article, literally it is an unfinished game.

It doesn't have a career mode and I'm a bit Suspicious if I'm being matched up against real people or AI.

The Matches are 2 rounds and 2 minutes long, which didn't bother me when I thought I was fighting real people.

The game play is amazing and I recommend buying it and using it to train, for what is hopefully to come.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!

If you want this game, you can download it for free on the developer's website. It'll state it's a "Demo", but the Demo they offer for free is literally the same thing as the paid version. Only difference is that you can't access the store where you can buy gloves and stuff.

Other than that, I DO NOT reccomend this crap via steam. You'll throw your money away for something you can easily get for free, plus, the devs abandoned this game 1 year ago, and have completely vanished.

this game is really good for a pc boxing game, but still cant win againts fight night franchise from ps console..
but for people who love boxing you should try this game if you only have pc and not ps console

I just couldn't get around no career mode combined with shaky gameplay. The game seems to nearly break when standing toe to toe with another boxer, with the boxers contorting. I just couldn't do it, factor that in with the game being primarily an online pvp experience left me with the bones of what could be a good game. On to the next one.

Cone Ranger

This feels like a mobile game that slipped through the cracks.
Looks good, but once in game it's one-dimensional button mashing gameplay and is based on real-life currency input.
Having to gamble my own money after paying for the game (just to play what is essentially ranked format), I feel a little outraged.
The marketing insinuates that there's a fair degree of customisation and depth, which I found to be almost non-existent. Character customisation seems limited to weight categories or visual flare (get your wallet out again).
Training seems to be broken. No controller/keyboard config. No character personalisation.
Once signed up your only choice is to fight matches against the practice/exhibition bot or gamble your 'bonus credits' on tournaments you have to wait several hours for.
This is a money laundering machine being portrayed as a graphically smooth boxing simulator.

For reference, I bought this at the same time as 'Age of Boxing'; and although A.O.B is not finished, I thoroughly enjoyed it over this game. I would suggest avoiding this waste of time, and supporting the champion developing A.O.B

Very unfinished along with no real rhyme or reason? Save your $$$ for something a little more finished.

I dropped a cinder block on my toe once. That was more fun than this game. Gads.
