Very few games manage to hold my attention, but this is one of them. Diehard Dungeon lives up to its name. It's as diehard as they come. Every time you start things up, you're off on a new adventure because each level is randomly generated. On top of that, you only have one life. If you run out of hearts, that's it. So if you like a challenge, and don't like having your hand held, this game is it!

GRAPHICS

If you enjoy SNES-style action RPG graphics, then you'll love this. And while it's clearly inspired by pixel sprites, this scales well on bigger monitors and HDTVs.

SOUND

The music is atmospheric and pairs well with the dungeon atmosphere. The sound effects also give you a sense that you're in a wet dingy place.

CONTROLS

Works great whether with a keyboard or a Steam controller. I perfer the controller, of course, because it makes for a more authentic experience. Best thing about the controls is that it's ultra precise with both sword and guns.

HARDWARE

This is a adaptable on all sorts of hardware that runs Windows 10. It works on my HP Stream 11 running a Celeron dual core N3050 with integrated Intel graphics. It also runs on my Gigabyte BRIX gaming PC running an AMD A8 quad core with a Radeon R9 graphics card.

OVERALL

8.5/10. The only reason I don't give this a higher score is because it doesn't have much of a story. But hey, if you don't care about story but just want to collect gold and kick ass, this is just the thing.

A very good game, with especially good value. I paid 49p for it on sale, but would have happily paid the full £4 for it. Spend your £4 on this game rather than £40 on the next Call of Screaming 12 Year Olds.

Fortrfire

S'all right I guess. You'll finish it in about an hour and feel pretty ok with it if you got it on sale for under a dollar.

It was a pretty decent little sword spammy dungeon runaround. People talk about how it's very zelda-y, but only if zelda didn't have weapons and powerups that changed the gameplay. You've got a choppy chop sword and a kind of crappy gun and with the right powerups the gun is less crap and the sword is more choppy. That's pretty much all there is to this.

It's not complicated, it doesn't have much staying power, but it's ok for a lark. Solid 6/10.

I think not the best Rouguelike but either the worst, if you like the idea of a 2D Zelda with Dungeon crawler mechanics check it out.

Ender Elohim

One of the worst game i have ever play. I give it time. I wait that game will change or fixed but no. They dont do anythink at all. There are lots of things is missing. If it is a game that a beginner devoloper do that is awesome but if not as i say terible. Even if it a beginner devoloper or devolopers they should learn more

I'm not sure what the negative reviews are on about. This game is easily worth the $0.50 I paid for it. The controls are very responsive (Xbox360 controller). The weapons are fine, a sword, which if you charge can do a spin or double spin and a cannon, that you can pick up modifiers for.

It's difficult and I'd say it's like other games where you go room to room, clearing enemies and grabbing loot.

Try it for $0.50, while it's on sale, and if you don't like it, refund your milk money.

Pretty well made RPG dungeon crawler with pixel graphic. Mobs, boss's, chest, treasures, cool music and everything what game like this needs.

I had a lot of fun playing this game. I got into a lot of unexpected situations and the companion chest is a great addition! A lot of powerups and a different run everytime keeps the game fresh. I like rogue games a lot.

I've been playing this game for quite awhile, And had just enjoyed it at the beginning, but now I see it has more Cons than Pros. Here's a list:

- Everytime you enter a new room, all the enemies run to your place, gangin'up on you. So, if you're lucky enough to not die on the first 10 seconds while running through traps, you can manage to kill some enemies, and just enjoy the rest of the time on an empty room.

- They put boxes above traps, making it invisible. This just lead to cheap deaths, and it's unecessary.

- Sometimes when you got hit, you'll drop your weapon. As if the game is not hard enough, what about making you unable to attack? Again: UNECESSARY.

- This is the most WEAK character I've ever seen! You gotta fight hordes of enemies with a stupid sword, and a cannon ball that is almost useless, because it push you into traps when it explodes. Even when you get some upgrades through chests, you still feel weak. Every enemy takes like 4~6 hits to kill, and there are too many at the same time.

- I wish we could change the controls, to make it more like a Twin Stick Shooter. I mean, the cannon weapon could be the Right Stick. But there's no option for that. Instead, you can move the camera with that stick, which is sooo helpfull (because we all know that the camera kills alot of guys with one hit).

They could just make this game something good, like Hero Siege, Binding of Isaac, or Nuclear Throne. The art style is so cool, and the gameplay is fast. But with a character that doesn't become stronger with time or get new abilities, it feels the same, and gets boring really fast.

KingWut117
KingWut117

There is no point to this game.

What I mean by that is there is no progression, no REASON to keep playing. If you want to spend all your time slogging through hordes of impossible-to-see enemies that are 15x faster than you using only your 2-inch sword and a bomb shooter that does next to no damage, be my guest.

When you die, you might as well uninstall and reinstall the game, because you start with nothing. You cannot progress through this game unless you get insanely lucky with the chest loot, and even then, you are at the mercy of some new boss that's immune to knockback and impossible to dodge.

I cannot reccomend this game. It could've been good, the hand cannon is fun enough to play around with, until you realize it does more harm than good by pushing you into traps. The artstyle isn't awful, and if it had actual progression, purpose, and maybe a story, I wouldn't mind.

Jimby
Jimby

There are some fun ideas. It is a solid thumb sideways, at least. That said, the move set is a little limiting, it's hard to see, and more repetitive and random than inventive and rock solid.

Stormcrow
Stormcrow

You enter a small hallway with a chest in the center of the room. You open the chest to find you have zero to three slot machine rolls which dictates what extra skills you may have when going in to the dungeon just beyond the door at the end of the hall. You approach the door and notice you seem to have a pet chest following you; picking up anything of value for you nearby. Determined to escape with your life, you enter the Diehard Dungeon.

I've been meaning to review this game for some time now; I've been putting it off because I've wanted to complete all the achievements. Unfortunately, some of the achievements require a lot of grinding and good luck to get certain combinations of things in a level to even allow you to progress on these grinding achievements. Now, achievements don't make or break a game. They just provide goals to give reasons to play a game again and again even if the game isn't actually very good.

Diehard Dungeon isn't a TERRIBLE game; it's good. Just... good. I don't find it to be a great game. I think part of that is because I'm a mouse-and-keyboard type of gamer and the controls seem to be a little better suited for a controller. So the controls seem to be a little bit clunky to me, but they're still workable. You're bound to have difficulties early on until you get the hang of things and then for the most part, you should be able to avoid everything and win nearly every time... depending on the items you get. At no point are you guaranteed to get an item. Every time to find a chest, you may get up to three rolls, or you may get zero. Once you find out how many rolls you get, it becomes like a jackpot machine. You have to match three of the same picture to get an item, but there's no skill to it at all; you get whatever the roll decides to give you. Then there are tokens that you randomly get throughout the game either by winning or picking up hearts when at full health, or by randomly being dropped during battle with the enemies.

You have two options for combat; you may swing your sword which can be charged up for a circular attack, or you may shoot your gun which knocks enemies back, then explodes with another knock-back. The combat works, though in my opinion it can be a little dry. There are times when using your sword is obviously better, but using your gun is so much safer in nearly every situation so long as you're able to dodge properly. There are some traps on each floor which you have to avoid which are either pressure plates that shoot arrows or javelins at you, or spinning blades that randomly roam around the room (which sometimes also shoot arrows at you).

This game isn't bad. I just don't think it's great. The achievements kept me playing longer than I had wanted to because I was determined to complete them all, but now I've lost interest and think it's time to move on. If you like rogue-like games, this one may interest you, but for me this game will be getting 6/10 for rogue-like games.

Have a great day everybody! ^_^

a very fun zelda-like game with permadeath at the core of the game

key points

-pretty good degree of difficulty the learning curve Maybe a bit tough but not impossible
-the price is well for a product
-can run on low-end computers very low end
-randomization does make the game unique almost every run they carefully cycle through the assets and the enemies they have made for
-a lot of work is obtained to get the true ending
-barely any true cycling of enemies or bosses what I mean is you're not going to come across too many times the same enemy other than a few times
-bosses to have unique battles as usual although the game does allow in most cases for you to deal with them how you would like

Diehard Dungeon: More like Tri-hard Dungeon.

This violent rogue-like Zelda-clone gives us a hard run through before amping up to difficulty after a wrap. It also features a few extra minigames, and leaderboards. Oh, and gore, always a win with pixelized gore.

Llamamoe

The game is blatantly simple, which unfortunately, kills any replayability it might have had. The game consists of defeating level after level of mindless enemy spam that would have been easier than trivial if it wasn't for tanking your hits like champs. All in all, the game is plain boring.

Mr Indecisive
Mr Indecisive

The simplest way to describe Diehard Dungeon is a hybrid between 2D Zelda games and Rogue-like (or lite if you prefer) games.

Pros:
-Decent music. I enjoyed it, at least.
-Challenging
-Style/aesthetic. Classic pixel art with blood effects.

Cons:
-Dull combat. By far the biggest sticking point. Combat is most of the game, but it is not fun. Attacks are weak, most enemies just run toward you, and you are stuck with the same weapons the entire game through all attempts (sword and hand-cannon)
-Upgrade RNG (entirely possible to get nothing at all).
-Almost no continuation between lives. You get tokens that carry over. You can use them to unlock some mini games, and that is all you can outside of a run. During a run, you can occasionally spend them at token wells, but they're uncommon. Each run feels like you're starting from scratch (some people may like this; I did not).

In summary, Diehard Dungeon is a tough game, and it is possible to sink a lot of time into it, but I was not having fun with it. There are more satisfying games in the genre. I would give this game a pass unless on a deep sale.

Highly reccomend this game as prob one of best Indie rogue-like seen around, it has that feel of Zelda to it especially with spin sword attack move. Lots diff enemies to encounter along with diff dungeons along with skill abilities etc, buy it peeps at time was in sale for me at just 59p!!, but still worth cheap full price it is to play..

If I could give this a neutral rating, I would.

Let's do the pro / con thing since it's more easily skimmed.

And we'll start with the Cons to put this review into neutral territory.

The Bad.

-The game is mostly short with not a lot of content.

-There's little in the way of combat variety,
and some mechanics that were intended to be used don't really work that well.

-Customization lacks depth and is mostly unnoticeable.

-Most every enemy (including bosses) can be kited.

-The first ending is underwhelming. Overall more could've involved me in the story or theme going on.

-Enemy variety is not very good.

-Even with randomization the environments are pretty drab.

The ???

-The roguelike mechanics of the game are rather unusual.

-Some things are never explained, leading to confusion.

-Artwork is so-so.

-I don't remember the music at all.

-You never feel overly powerful or overly pathetic.

The Good!

-It's kinda fun for a while.

-The death / tokens system is pretty fluid and makes the game fun.

-The randomization / death system does help break up the monotonous combat / stages.

-if you're having a poorly executed run, there are opportunities to turn it around. Mostly around regaining health.

-The dynamic camera works pretty well.

Summary

If you can grab it for dirt cheap, it can provide you a few hours of good fun.
Then you can toss it over your shoulder and never look at it again. But hey, it was cheap.

I can see myself getting several good hours out of this game, and for 4.99, what more can you realistically ask for? It's not as crazy as Nuclear Throne, it's not as overall good like Binding of Isaac, it doesn't have all that stuff to collect (or at least it doesn't seem to) like Rogue Legacy. There's only one playable character as far as I can tell, and he's not really all that charming to look at. But again, for 4.99, what can you ask for?

If the game added more characters/classes, spruced up the environments a bit. Add some sort of system to see (alliteration is fun, right?) permanent unlocks. Instead of, what seems to me after almost an hour of playing, collecting absolutely worthless "treasure" (some of which looks like it could be equippable like necklaces , etc), maybe have some function to the treasure, or at least explain what it is in the tutorial, since, afterall, there is a tutorial. If it added these things, I could see this game being a lot more replayable. As it stands now, I can't imagine having any fun at all with it if I were using mouse and keyboard, so I would definitely recommend a controller. Plus the rumble function makes it even better.

I would definitely recommend this game for the current price, and if they add more meaningful content down the road, I'd recommend paying at least double the current price. It's probably not the BEST thing on Steam for 4.99, but it's pretty good.

I picked this game up during the Steam Summer Sale for only .50$, and so far it's been an great casual game, somewhat similar to The Binding of Isaac. Although lacking in depth and length, this is a fun game to waste a bit of time on and would highly recommend picking it up.

Since "The Binding of Isaac" has become a gold standard for the genre, everyone compares any roguelike dungeon crawler with it. But let's just give a chance to this nice simple game. For me it's really worth while playing due to its weird world. Yes, there is no a bunch of items to collect or a whole army of characters to play, but still, it's fun and decent.

I have this game for quite some time now, the game overall is great but also very hard, for me this is like the Dark souls of retro games, its really interesting but combat can get quite boring and most hard at times, the biggest issue is that once you lose hp its super hard to get it back, you start with 6 hearts, you get hit and lose one, by the time you get another one you are gonna lose way more, this game is really entertaining and one heck of a challenge, if you are up for a challenge, 10/10 would play again

KrudlerTheHorse
KrudlerTheHorse

Here's a game that does almost everything right except the combat, which feels horrendously sluggish and clunky.

And since combat is the only thing you'll be doing in this game ... well I think I've made my point.

AudioElf
AudioElf

I keep coming back to this game hoping I can get into it. I just can't. It's not very fun, the physics are zelda-like, but the game is so visually messy that it's difficult to distinguish what's going on. the artists get so caught up in giblets that they forget why we play bullet-hell games.

PRO TIP: It's not for the giblets. We need to be able to see what's happening, especially when lethatlity is so high.

The tactic for this game is "shoot your gun until the things die". Zelda rooms are planned out, like a puzzle, recognizing that combat was secondary to the route you were taking. this poorly-conceived knockoff is just a random mess of spawns without an real coherent tactics, other than hoping your bombs don't bounce you into a floor trap.

TLDR: Game drops your weapon, sets you ablaze and throws enemies chaotically at you. Aiming is very ineffective. Pixelization and screen effects obscure gameplay.

This is similar to binding of Isaac in that you explore room by room, get a key off the corpse of a foe and proceed to the next room. The action is muddled, your way of handling combat does not feel like you are in the driver seat, rather all kinds of things happen to you and around you and it feels like you are just trudging through and often get hit without knowing why. Screen shaking and some on-screen visual effects obscure things further.

Conclusion: Play Streets of Rogue, Gungeon, Isaac, Dungeon of the Endless or many other for a superior experience. Diehard dungeon has more in common with a Wizard's Lizard or Ittle Dew in comparison.

This is fairly cheap for an all around good experience. The game is easy to pick up yet deceptively challenging. The art style is pretty cute, a bit distracting at times but it does it's job. If you're into top-down dungeon crawlers this is a nice game to add to your collection

Diehard Dungeon is a Zelda roguelike dungeon game with simple controls where you will die a lot.

Gameplay - 8/10

It features powerups, bosses, hidden areas and minigames. You get a chest that gets stronger if you loot more treasure and it will eventually help you fight. The number of enemies and tougher variants will increase with your rank as you get better in the game. This keeps the difficulty high but doable if you play enough.

There's a good number of options including toggling your damage, toggling the last life sound and toggling screen flashes.

Liked: High difficulty, Spin Attack, a range of powerups, companion chest fights for you, good options to reduce frustration.

Disliked: Lack of weapons to use, Bosses can all be kited and are easier than general dungeon layout with traps.

Art - 6/10

Liked: Decent looking sprites and fits its genre, some character customisation but limited.

Disliked: Artstyle is nothing amazing.

Soundtrack - 5/10

Liked: Ok bgms and servicable sound effects.

Disliked: Its forgettable.

Overall - 6/10

Diehard Dungeon is a decent game that stays difficult with gameplay reminiscent of Zelda, though the artstyle isn't amazing and the music is forgettable its worth its price for what you can get out of it.

A rogue-lite with permadeath and HEAVILY inspired by Zelda: A Link to the Past. The movement of the enemies, even some enemies are very alike, the dungeon and puzzles, all similar to the mentioned Zelda. I don't think that is a bad thing. But at the same time, the controls aren't as good as Zelda, the character sometimes keeps "floating" which makes it hard to be controlled, I think that is because it uses the physics engine for control and collision. Also the gun/cannon thing aim is really imprecise and annoying. But other than that, a cool little game (and with permadeath).

Review # 51

TL;DR 7 evil treasure chests out of 10
Pros

    • Great rougelike loop (stayed engaging)
    • Good boss design
    • Ranking system

Cons

    • Certain perks felt really useless
    • The game could have benefited from a full panned out point of view

Graphics/Sound
In my honest opinion there isn’t much as far are enemy design that really makes up for the sub-par graphics. The bosses were really well done so ill give it that, but I felt that the regular enemies could have used a bit more distinctive qualities. The audio was serviceable nothing too out of the traditional when it comes to games like these. However, I would like to say that the opening audio was a bit too loud compared to the rest of the game.
Impressions of the game
The biggest gripe I have with the game is that the game seems to be balanced around the ranged weapon rather than between both range and melee. I felt as though there were only few combat situations where using your sword was worth the trade-off of risking health. Another complaint was that the game could have benefited from even more items and maybe even straight damage buffs. All in all it was a really fun game while I played it and will likely be playing more of it in the future considering that there is a pretty steep learning curve and difficulty once you’ve completed a run. The loop for a rougelike is serviceable and there is a pretty hard climb to feel like you have mastered the game. Best to get it on sale.
Achievements
Most of the achievements are predicated on RNG which involve obtaining certain perks. The rest involve either completing certain dungeons on a harder difficulty or at all. I think that this department was structured really well considering that the prior really helps you see all the facets of the game. The latter allows for you to just tell yourself one more run and I’ll beat it which is what games like this rely on.

This game was quite charming it reminded me of Zelda before I left the first screen, My first upgrade was the throwing blade when you swing which I remember from Zelda But after that it's pretty shallow.

While the path to the end is pretty short, the rooms along it take too long. I never felt I had gotten stronger, weak.

The upgrades are fun, but you don't get enough of them. You could roll a 0 and get nothing immediately or you could fail to match 3 in the slot mechanic. I don't think a system like this should determine if my run will continue to be bland or get entertaining.

I bought this game looking for a roguelike.

You walk through these randomly generated rooms shooting your balls at stuff or letting your treasury take care of it ‘cause nothing is more deadly than taxes, while not dying due to the many traps there are or giant babies on ecstasy or bosses, that mostly are just giant babies as well, like seriously the dev must hate babies, while vandalizing everything and putting all torches out ‘cause you’ve got Heliophobia just to get that sweet loot to make your chest go even crazier and let it do all the work for you, you lazy potato sack, and get as many tokens as you can get, ‘cause this game is pay to win since they give you tons of goodies at wishing thingies and are used to reroll your loot from chests, which literally turns the game into some kind of gambling simulator since you basically have to reroll since there’s a ton of useless crap and not much that really changes the gameplay, and even if you should ever make any kind of pity achievement, the game adjusts for it cause dynamic difficulty, duh. So even if you get better at this game you can still feel like a disappointing failure.

Keep in mind the game was released on 9/11 and has 69 Steam achievements.

If you are looking for a roguelike game, don't waste your money on such cheap indie games. Buy The Binding of Isaac instead, it's only 5 bucks, and you get a much better (and longer) experience out of it.

The game isn't bad, though. But it's also not good either.

If you are looking for more of an arcade game, this game might be for you. There's challenge for sure. There are minigames. There's even a leaderboard for the most diehard players. But in my opinion, it's simply too meagre of content to really compete as a roguelike, that's why it gets a thumbs down from me.

And if you are interested, here's my first gameplay of it:

Sealotpy
Sealotpy

This game is absolutelly horrendous.
Gameplay is by far the worst offender, clunky is not enough to describe how bad it is, you have barelly no range on your melee atack, which deals a pathetic 3 dmg, while most enemies have 10+ HP. That said, you do have a ranged atack aswell, tho it works against itself, as its a projectile that explodes, but not on contact, instead, it bounces off of wathever it hits, the bounce does only 1 dmg, while the (VERY) small explosion deals 5 dmg, which oftens lead to your shots hitting enemies for 1 dmg and bouncing away from them, turning into almost useless, and only being usefull with very specific spacing, or with some juggling shenanigans with your melee atack. In short: you are hopeless in combat, as the combat abilities you have are often not good enough when you're surrounded by damage sponge enemies, which is pratically aways.
The game's art is also pretty bellow average, there's a constant cluster of information, and the sprites look bad and out of place, bosses are unispired, they all look like re-skins of pre-existing things, and hurt to look at.
Only redeemable part of this game is its soundtrack, which is good, some tracks are just ok, and some are really good, especially the tracks on the more late-game areas.

You may be asking why do i have 40 hours on this game if i didn't like it and had all this to say about it, but that's because i tried to go for all the achievements, i had basically all of them at 20 hours, all the rest was me grinding for a heavily rng based achievement, don't be like me, don't waste your time on this game, its not worth it.

It's a bit on the simple side but definitely worth a purchase price of $1.99. I've already played for an hour and will probably play for a bit more so I feel like I got my money's worth. It's a solid game with decent controls. Yes, not a whole lot of depth, but what do you expect for 2 bucks?!

UPDATE:

Now that I've played it more, this game has a bit more layers to it than I thought. It's a decent game for sure if you like this Action Adventure Roguelike Dungeon Crawler experience. At $2 it's a steal. I hope we eventually see more from this developer.

Moog

I only played for 36 minutes. This review is why I won't make it to 37.

Diehard Dungeon is a well-meaning pixel art roguelike hacky slash that's trying to be like if the original Legend of Zelda was just one long dungeon. That's fine.

But if dungeon exploration and combat are the only two elements in the game ... one of them has to be good. Neither are. The combat is definitely the biggest reason the game fails: your sword is too short, your moveset is too small, and the enemies are too aggressive for it to be fun. They give you the projectile attack and I almost immediately used that and nothing else. Imagine never using anything in Zelda except the boomerang because your sword is too clunky.

Then the roguelike elements are almost indiscernible, with powerups coming and going and some not even making a difference. There's none of the immediate gameplay change like in Binding of Isaac, or the room strategies, secrets, or ... anything. Play Isaac instead.

In 36 minutes I beat 3 worlds of the game. I don't know how many there are and I doubt I'll find out. If you watch the footage and think this is definitely for you, you might pick it up for $.99 or something. Or just buy a taco. You'll get roughly the same amount of fun-time with each.

Great Roguelike, very fun, action packed, and alot of content from what I've seen. I haven't gotten far but with these games, thats common lol. And for $2? This is a steal. You can tell this is a passion project, not something the devs did for the money.

Really the only thing I dislike about the game is the fact that you attack in the direction that you're facing, not where your crosshair is. Which basically means you only have 4 directions in which to attack and also deflect your bombs to, since it seemed like I wasn't able to attack diagonally. Other than that it's a pretty nice and casual way to kill time.

I've been trying to beat this game in ages, trying to beat it on 3 different computers for years, and I finally did it! I have yet to unlock the achievements, but here's my little review meanwhile:
This is one of the most challenging yet one of the most disappointing dungeon crawler games on Steam. Here's why:
1. You don't get any tutorial. You learn through gameplay and build up your style. Simple attacks, yet you'll learn from your past deaths.
2. It'll give you lots of ragequit moments - mostly because it seems so easy and you have yet to learn what easy means.
3. It won't give you satisfaction before you beat it. It's one of those games that you want to beat up so hardly: whatever it takes.
4. Music. It really builds up the atmosphere.
5. Very cheap.
and to the disppointing part:
1. Not much of a weapon choice. You only get knife and gun. And mostly you'll be getting abilities for your gun as there's so many.
2. Very short once you "master" it. But if you decide to beat the achievements, I'm pretty sure it's hard as hell as the bosses you beat are not the mean enemies. It's the dungeon master that needs special "summoning" and dealing with. I'm yet to get there, but I definitely will (unless it makes me ragequit again for months).
3. Music. It's one of the genres that make you annoyed after a while because you lose every time and the atmosphere just helps you ragequit more.
4. Too cheap. Who'd find hidden gems like this if not for god knows how I got this reason.

And at last: should you buy this game? Yes, absolutely! Even if all it makes you do is ragequit for months/years, it will give you the insight to try out all the other games you have in your library!

A relatively BRUTAL but fun dungeon crawler. Played years back, loved it immensely. Popped in for some nostalgia. It's basically rogue-like 2D-isque Zelda dungeon crawler but you have a chest as a companion. It plays similar to Binding of Isaac that you collect buffs and fight bosses. I would say my biggest gripe about this is that you could often get meh items, no items, and sometimes keys get stuck on spikes where you literally HAVE to take damage to get them. All around though, 7/10. Unique companion chest that helps fight with you, kind of a cannon to help fend off monsters, and a unique art-style that makes it good for some run-throughs. Reasonable replayability.. but not much. For the price of literally $2 it is WELL worth it, though. Oh, best thing. Small download size so almost anyone can play it and the req's aren't too terrible. Check it out if you got $2 laying around and want a night of fun dungeon-crawling. :)

I thought my mouse was broken turns out it was just the game freezing the reticle when you attack. Who thought that was a good idea? It really wasn't. It's super disruptive to suddenly lose targeting while moving.

Very "fair" for a roguelike and feels very much like playing TLoZ. You get more than what you pay for in my opinion, if you like top down dungeon crawls you can't go wrong.

Pretty nice game. Played a bit, it's alright. Buy if you have a bit of spare cash.
