i was very excited to play this game but its nearly impossible to play with the amount of bugs. you cant do a single level with out your hands teleporting around. this game would be very fun if it had less bugs.

It did not take long to realize that this game was bad. Honestly this game has a lot of potential to be a good game but i don't find it fun nor interesting, although that might be because I don't really know how to create things or make levels. but what really tics me off is how you have to unlock all of the tools, it's so time consuming and probably not even worth unlocking also, you cant even have more than one item in the room, you have to play separate levels for separate items and to my knowledge you cant spawn things in not to mention the items and the hand models feel very janky, it's like my hands just wobble around instead of having balanced steady hands. This game might be worth buying on sale but at it's current state not worth full price. I hope that the devs take a look at this review and fix these issues. I will take another look at this game when it is on sale. Thank you for reading this.

God the bugs. I play this with the Quest 2's "Steam Link" and MY GOD.
for starters, crouching down is a no-no
holding tools and using them on large objects keeps them held indefinitely
the lag
sometimes my hands just cease to exist... alongside the rest of me...

It would be a fun game but you have to complete all the item packs to even unlock all the tools. All the unlocked tools are actually the fun part of the game and I don't want to spend hours just trying to unlock all of them.

The game is a great concept but unfortunately the game has WAYYYYY to many bugs. It randomly teleports me around and when I let go of something it sticks to my hand. sometimes the game works and most of the time it doesn't.

(I was surprised to write my first negative review.)
Disassembly VR is a incredibly detailed game that has so much potential, but never gets fixed. Instead of fixing the long lasting horrible collions, janky grabbing and unrealistic tool use, unessacary updates are added such as combat. This game needs to be fixed, rather than adding more and more broken items.

ZFire2020
ZFire2020

so horridly buggy, ill be holding a tool and then somehow the thing im trying to use the tool on magically is in that hand too. it grabs stuff without asking you really often, its really annoying to find out what tools you need for what random crap, why can i rip a skyscraper down with my bare hands, the explosions look kinda shit and the destruction is kinda shit. the sheer chaos of it all was kinda fun at first, but it degraded into completely annoying fairly quickly.

Your Zombie Shark GF
Your Zombie Shark GF

IDK how Jerma had 0 problems with this, this game is so janky and buggy, stuff clips into each other all the time then fly around the room so I have to go chase it down, and some things I just can't grab. Get this when it's on sale for like $10 bucks, a full $30 is not worth it.

its a fun game but it gets boring way to quickly. its fun yes but its not worth 24 euro

waste of money developers dont update a lot i thought the concept of the game was fun and me putting my money into it would be okay because in the future it would be nice, now 2 years later they havent made any considerable movement in the game play except bugs and the game crashing plus needing to do the most ridiculous tasks to get the most basic items i nthe game

Its a good game and really fun if u like disassembling things never to pput em back together, but ome levels are overkill like the skyscrapers.
Yesterday while on app store i found the 3D version of this game, the revievs were 7-9 years old, so thez just ported it to pc then to vr, maybe a bit overpriced for a old game...

Very Buggy, Also it's confusing. And it's good tho with good physics but I have a couple reasons why I recommend no and yes at the same time, Take's years to complete 😕. But on the good side it's fun at the same time and get's me mad sometimes 🤓 This is my review :)

Qany™

this game is really buggy and it takes a long time to unlock anything anything and its quite boring and the developers dont update and they dont tell you what tools you need to dissemble something SO YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH ALL THE TOOLS TO SEE WHICH ONE WORKS.

this game is really fun but to me this game is for somone that has alot of time on there hands and you have to love taking thing apart to enjoy this game (well yeah) but its crazy how detailed the iteams in the game are, you can take apart every bit. in vr its really good you can acually get too see how big things are if you sore them in really life, but if your like me and get bored really easy i wouldnt recommend this game, i played it for and hour and go bored but that me people who like this stuff will play it for hours, but over all its really fun in vr

if you're interrested in how certain things work then this is your game! the details in this game are fantastic although the graphics are what they are. the weapons are a big plus and tickles they destuctive nerve. recommended to buy in a bundle even if i didn't but its cheaper that way! overall very happy this got ported to vr so i can relive those days when i used to play this on a ipad (and was almost all i did with it)

FemmyRiley

Coming from someone who bought this game, yes, It's a lot of fun, and it pleases my autism, however I only have one gripe, The fact you have to unlock all the tools makes it a tedius on the more larger maps such as the plane, the space station, house, etc, usually the third stage.

I'd love a cheat mode, maybe disabled achievements if used? I just want to blow up things in VR. But it's a really good game, I'll definitely be playing it more.

Not sure but after clicking submit the button dissapears and it won't let me leave the review so here is my experience:

Holy♥♥♥♥♥♥ I was planning on being disapointed and returning this but this is, for once, a complete♥♥♥♥♥game that is seriously good even though the idea of disassembling things sounds boring (it's not apparently). Please buy this and support full real games in VR. 10/10 but vive users gets ready for the usual experience trying to handle things with your motion wands, gonna be banging them a lot.

Pro: actual progression in a game for one. I was afraid this would be a full sandbox and my issue is I always get bored when there's no goal or reason to come back. This game has a reason to come back.

Graphics: Good, very good actually.
Content: Immense, I honestly don't understand how the dev did this, even with 8 years he put into it. Way more detailed then I expected.

Fun factor: This is both a game you play for hours and a game great for demos.

PerformanceL Good, on my i7 6700k 1080FE ran smooth as butter. For the dev here's some stats:

at the moment i wouldnt get it. most of the noises are repeated through out objects, the physics are annoying and over all you get bored from finding that one piece of the object you left on the floor

I owned this game on my Iphone for years so it really hurts to have to leave a negative review. Because while it is the only destruction simulator in VR, It is not all that great let me tell you why. While the physics in the smaller levels are fine, It really takes away from the game when the larger levels just glitch out in pieces and fall apart in huge chunks. While this was ok for a phone game, In VR they need to make this more realistic as it totally ruins the imersion. As well, while the tools are cool, they are so unrealistic they aren't even worth using. For example one shot of the pistol will destroy half of the titanic. Totally ruins the game. I will happily change my review once the Devs update this and make it a better VR experience. For $30 they need to make the physics way more realistic and fix the isssue with larger levels, or just remove them and replace them with small levels as they are not suitable for VR at all. Another thing please add walking physics like on the IOS version so you can walk around levels especiially for larger levels. THis game could really be a amazing top selling game if the Devs would take more time and properly adapt this to VR and not just throw the IOS version up with some tools.

The game is great and it's a lot of fun to disassemble the many things in this game. It also performs really well in comparison to some other VR games. The models are sometimes very detailed and sometimes not so much, those are mainly the bigger ones like cars. The best thing in my opinion is the slow motion feature which lets you stop time, throw two things against each other and then see how they collide in slow-mo when you up the speed. It's really fun as the whole game is. There's a big variety of tools and all the ones I've used so far have worked great. It's sometimes a bit unintuitive as to which tool you should use for a specific but figuring it out is part of the fun. I can definitely recommend this game although the price might be too high for some people as you probably won't disassemble each item more than one or two times.

This is a great, somewhat therapeutic game in which you take things apart. It's somewhat pricey at $30 bucks, but quite honestly I'm enjoying it and think it's worth the price. However maybe wait for it to go on sale, also if you don't like taking things apart, maybe stay away from this. Also, currently it's one of the best uses for the Valve Knuckle controllers.

This game is as simple as it gets. Load it up and you have the option to take apart so many objects, vehicles, tools, tech, ect. It's awesome to see how all these different objects are put together.

The detail and interaction with each object is fantastic. The graphics are decent as well. One of my only issues is having to beat certain levels to unlock certain tools to use.

Holy fuck where do i even start with a absolute dumpster fire of a vr game like this. Oh I know, how about all of times i got flung outside of the map and had to restart, Every. Fucking. Time. There are soooooo many bugs in this game. Not only that but sometimes the game will freeze and your character will be stuck and you can't move him, the only way to fix this? Restart. And don't even get me started on how terrible the grabbing in this game is. Its as if you have a magnet in your hand and anything near you will come into your hand. AND, the amount of time the items go flying when I go near them is INSANE. This game is not worth your time nor your money. Genuinely the worst vr game I have ever paid for, no, ever played. Don't bother playing it just watch a youtuber play it.

Ok this has some BAD bugs but if you can get past that this is a really fun game. The dev is still workin on this game and has added body physics! I can see the bugs getting fixed in the next few months.

if i play more mvm I DIE
if i play more…

The concept of taking stuff apart with your hands in VR is definitely very attractive and something I would definitely enjoy if it were done better.

Mainly because of the physics and how big your hand hitbox is; they're like magnets!

broken.just broken. most of the worst bugs were fixed. but your arm brakes every 5 mins in the game. and your body still starts drifting off .im well aware you can turn off your body but it kinda ruins the fun in the update.so i would reccomend after maybe a week or 2 after the review. in less you dont care much about the bugs.Edit still no update to fix the game.

Horrible. that's what describes this. I cant even play without somehow becoming one with the skybox. Bought the game about a year ago, it was great. The submarine was sickining but otherwise I liked everything. I love the manequins fighting back but the body physics really messed up the game. When getting things from selection bar sometimes they just spin out and the game doesn't have that relaxing feel anymore. If the physics were fixed it would be much better.

I highly don't recommend this game to anyone because if you have a small-space room like me, your bound to not have enough room to play the game. When you try to pick up an item, it won't register as a pick up, the mannequins that you optionally fight in sandbox are rigged and they one-hit kill you. so all in all, just don't get this game for your VR system. it's not fun and it's not worth your $30. If you still wanna get this game for your system, fine by me and have fun with it.

That Wolf some know as Wiron
That Wolf some…

this game is too buggy to be playable.
If you turn after moving slightly irl you can fall out of the map at which point you cant even use the menu to change levels meaning you need to restart the game.
turning while holding a ragdoll can cause it to fly around the map uncontrollably.
I've had my hands just freeze in place while on the space station level and was unable to do anything more due to it.
These are the main issues I've had with the game, other than just minor control bugs and irritants, if these are fixed I would recommend this game but until then my advice would be to wait on buying it
p.s. The headset I use is the rift s so these issues may not be a problem for other headsets but I doubt it

i really wish this game wasnt so buggy and glitchy, the mechanics of actually taking small appliances apart are super fun and i love sitting on my floor taking shit apart but every now and then my legs derp out (idk why they need full body physics ik in a disassembly game but ok /shrug) i wish they re wrote the vr controls for modern day vr and reworked the body to just be head and hands (saying this as someone who actively uses full body tracking, not all games need it)

and lastly i think a cool idea would be some sort of repair shop or cleaning game type where you have to fix the ram in a laptop or replace a motor in a coffee grinder and stuff like that! or repairing vintage electronics idk, sound like a blast personally

tldr, has a ton of potential but feels like a bad port of their other game ported to an outdated vr system, like the budgetcuts demo or a lot of the early vr experements

KingCarson

Game was buggy and glitchy. My guns got glitched into walls, I was stuck inside of the skyscraper map and the game wouldn't allow me to pull up the main menu while there until I glitched back out again. I also thought it wasn't fun since you had to complete so many levels to get any good tools to help you disassembly things. I think the game concept and idea of disassembling things is awesome since I love to destroy things in Vr but the game is to buggy and glitchy for me.

I used to love playing this game in the odd hours of the day when i had nothing else to do, but after a long time off the game with this new full body physics update, its damn near unplayable. If you have a crap ton of time on your hands and don't mind a buggy mess with bad controls, I'd say this game is for you. The game has potential but with you having to unlock everything, it really makes it a grind in order to access the fun stuff. Also, the game is extremely buggy plus I hate how it controls. Everything is made hard in this game and I just don't recommend you buy it full price
