This game got a few bad reviews due to poor performance during a beta preview, but, since then, the dev has been extremely dedicated to updates and has been implementing great new ideas. The small community is great and chasing your own personal best is as addicting as real life. The procedural generation is pretty good and being able to save seeds and replay them are a huge plus.

But, where the game truly shines is in the physics of the discs. It's clear the dev spent an insane amount of time trying to simulate good disc flight. You'll never have a disc stick vertically in the mud, but you will get a feel for each individual disc with their own stats.

The flight physics are good and multiplayer works smoothly and without hassle. Courses are randomly generated using a seed you provide and you can save a seed as a favorite after the round if you enjoyed it. The procedural generation is often decent but you will encounter holes that don't have a very clear path toward the basket.

The controls take a bit of getting used to. You must pick your disc from the bag, throw it, and then retrieve it from the ground. You can forget your disc in the basket or on the ground and have to run back to pick it up. Some might find this immersive but it can get a little tedious.

The graphics are this games biggest downfall. The character models and customization look thrown together. When lining up shots the character's often put their arms through their heads or the disc is floating in space no where near where the model's hands are. Trees are your most common sight and the way leaves are rendered isn't exactly convincing.

Overall: Worth it if you like disc golf
+ You can easily play with friends
+ The throwing physics are good and your disc choice matters
+ Procedurally generated holes are good most of the time
- animations and graphics leave something to be desired
- somewhat clunky controls

after trying the demo i said screw it and bought the full game and i think its great, a bit clunky on some stuff but other then that i really like it. the throwing system is good and the putting defiantly takes getting used to but once i figured it out iv been nailing 60-70ft putts decently. haven't had any freezing problems so far like others have had. only thing so far is getting stuck in bushes for 3-4 throws and my disc sometime sliding completely down hills when they obviously should've stopped a while ago. would love to see some matchmaking in the future to play with randoms.

The price is too much for this game but it's decent as is. The mechanics are pretty fun to be honest but it needs preset maps, music and more graphical polish. I'd recommend it but only if you have a group to play with. It does cost too much. It should be 7 or 8 dollars max imo

Super fun game to play with some friends or by yourself. The mechanics of the game as well as the attention to detail on flight patterns and numbers for each disc really shocked me based off of my initial expectation from seeing screenshots. Its refreshing to see such a small game with a dev so active. Worth $15? if your'e into a arcade Disc Golf With Friends type deal then 100%. I'm stoked to see where the developers take this game in the future with how much potential it has.

So far, the game is fun. If you are someone that enjoys disc golf in real life, I think its something you should consider buying, but maybe not at the current price point. The game doesn't focus on graphics, but the physics and mechanics are manageable and that's what matters most, there are a few things that do need fixing though.

The moving is a little weird and could be tweaked, and the UI and text may need just a little more love. I really hope the dev pushes updates as often as possible because this has the possibility to compete with the best disc golf games out there for sure as long as they are passionate about it.

Edit: With more time in the game, I want to add onto this review to help others that are looking into purchasing this product. At this time, the game falls close to unplayable. Its fun when it works, but that's sort of the catch, is that it needs some love.

Whats wrong with the game?

Well, the randomly generated holes need some work. I honestly think that this is one of the game's main selling points in my opinion, but its also one of its biggest flaws. Numerous times I have had the basket spawn inside a mountain or have extremely odd terrain generation. I think the world generation needs a little refining to help the game. A 700 foot par 4 straight up a mountain just isn't possible.

I think having some sort of customization to the world gen would be good. I love the forested flat / small hills generation, its amazing. It commonly generates holes that feel very realistic and fresh. But once you get some generation on the side of a mountain, the course and game becomes an unplayable experience.

Secondly, the physics need a little love as well. In general, they are pretty solid, but there are a few things that are extremely unrealistic, and sort of tie into the whole "unplayable" thing again. Primarily, the rolling physics.

Roll aways are just mean in this game. You can land flat, and the disc will flip end over end before taking off down the hill at 60mph, it will start to slow down and sit, before it starts flipping end over end and the whole process begins again. Not only does this happen every round due to the way the world commonly generated on the side of a mountain, but it makes said holes actually impossible to play at times.

The other problem with physics is the discs fade being too aggressive. Once the disc slows down, it dumps way too hard at the end of the flight. Even fades of 1 or 2 will end on a vertical fall as if the disc had 6 fade.

Finally, the game has more small bugs that would make this review be much longer, but I think the main priority issues are listed above. If those are tended to, then the smaller issues can be addressed as well. The game has a lot of potential, so please don't let this review turn you away for good, it just needs a little more time and love. Please devs, keep with this project.

At this current time, I really cant recommend the game at its price point. I think for $5 I could, and I believe they would pull a lot more sales at that price point as well. If the game goes on sale it might be worth it, but I don't think anything more than $10 should be being demanded at the current state of the game.

I'm eager to see where this project goes, and I wish everyone involved with it the best on their ways!

Shanked a shot and it hit a tree and rolled about 50m down a hill. Then I got to take the walk of shame and contemplate my life choices until i found my disc. I'm very surprised they somehow simulated my normal play style. Overall Graphics aren't top tier but, physics are solid. Takes a bit to get used to the power meter and remembering to switch throwing styles. Only issue I've run into is bad spawns for water hazard drop zones. I'll Def suggestion this game for people who enjoy Disc Golf.

The game is cool, I love the throwing mechanics and it functions very well !.

What i would like to be improved is the issue with the map generating a tee where the basket is on an island, where you must be able to throw it in the basket, not on the island or anywhere around it. Because then you have to throw from land again, and this is not putting distances.. This is annoying when you want to be able to get to the next tee, maybe add a vote to skip tee function. Also sometimes there is a bug with the frisbee that make's you not able to pick it up, or it asks you to throw again but it says you're out of bounds eventho there is a orange place marker, and wouldnt let you continue in any way, maybe add a reset from last position to try and fix this to reset the position and the frisbee if its on the ground.

More content and maybe a story would be fulfilling to the game.. Upgrade to graphics would been really nice "Might be least important"..
The throwing physics of this game, is very very nice.. good job !.

hopefully you guys will continue on this game and improve it, would definetly recommend this to others.

More or less when these errors i explained occurs, you will have to make a new game and start all over again and will drag the player out of the experience.. because all players have to finish, to finish a cource / game..
