I was looking for something like Muramasa: The Demon Blade and Odin Sphere during the winter sale. After a bit of research, Earth's Dawn was suggested and it's definitely filled my need for a PC version of the above.

The character models look a little goofy in the trailer, but in practice they look great in motion. There's definitely a good amount of grinding required in the mid-game, but there's plenty to unlock (weapons and skills), no downside to getting a game over, you can easily change the difficulty, redo as many missions as you want, and if you fail a story mission you get as much time as you want to complete other missions before you try it again.

Unless something causes me to rage quit the game, highly recommended.

100%'d and it's excessively mid. Combat and movement is chops, story is a mess, a lot of the enemies/bosses are just annoying (especially the tunneling sharks my god wtf) has that chinese spyware feel.
On the flip side there's no missables and it's easy.
It goes on sell regularly for $3 and that's about how much it is worth.
My desire to play their other game "Lost Epic" has diminished greatly and now I can wait on a bigger sale for that title so there's that.

For those of us who lusted over Odin Sphere but couldn't play it cuz we didn't have a PS2, this is an amazing game.

Sony plz release Odin Sphere on PC!

It's a pretty good game, sort of like a 2D God Eater. Sort of. You select a mission, go through whatever stage it takes place in, and kill the target monster(s). There are some other mission variations, but that's usually how it goes.

Enemies drop materials which you can use to craft new weapons, of which there are quite a few, though many are just reskins with better stats. You can carry two weapons, usually something melee and ranged. Ranged weapons have more variety, like homing bullets, lasers, or flamethrowers.

You can apply elements and status effects to weapons when crafting them, assuming you have the right materials. You can also upgrade your weapons for increased stats. There's no weapon tree for upgrades like in Monster Hunter or God Eater though.

The combat is sort of like Odin Sphere or Muramasa, but slightly jankier, and with inferior animations. It's surprisingly good though, and once you get used to it you can juggle enemies and perform air combos and whatnot.

There's a fairly sizeable skill tree, even though most of the nodes are just passive stat increases, and for the most part you obtain them by playing through specific missions. Sometimes there's multiple copies of a skill you can get from a mission, which requires three or four completions if you want them all.

The music serves its purpose, and some of it is pretty good, but it's really nothing special or memorable if you ask me. As for the graphics, you can just look at the trailer and judge for yourself, but I think it looks pretty good, although the animations are a bit hit and miss.

Overall, the game was good enough for me to play through both on PS4 and years later on Steam as well.

An excellent little game with a whole lot of research and crafting between brawling. Art style is odd but somewhat pleasant, and the game has given me a bad case of "Just one more level"..

This is a great action game that throws in a few twist to keep things interesting.

There is a heavy emphasis on fighting. Your character can use guns and swords and combining enemies is fun. There is a dash mechanic that can be used to extend combos and dodge attacks. Weapon variety and new skills uncovered as the game progresses helps keep things fresh.

Levels tend to be linear but there are boss battles and loads of enemies to deal with. There is also a simple crafting system.

The art is probably the best feature of this game. Characters and enemies are big, meaty and detailed. The environments also look good. The game runs smooth and I had no issues getting it up and running.

EARTH'S DAWN is a fun game, though I would say that it is not worth price for me (20% off at launch).

It is a casual side-scrolling action hack-n-slash or shooting game with lite-hunting elements where you have to find items/materials to craft your equipments.

In my opinion, falls a little too short in the action departments. It is nicely done, it has its charm but I find it not that interesting to keep me going for long. It lacks the challenging factors to keep me here, as I breezed through several story/free missions like it was nothing. Although, I am sure that some might prefer it, but not that much for me.

The equipments / skills / customizations, especially the skills, are what interested me. It is unique, in a way. I haven't played that much to properly judge them, but I love what I have seen so far.

I am certain that I will be getting this again at lower price.

TL;DR

If you are itching for side-scrolling actions, you might want to look for other titles. However, If you are looking for another interesting lite-hunting game. You can't go wrong with this.

Earth's Dawn Review

Aliens have invaded earth, and it’s up to a couple hulking dudes and limber babes decked out in space armor and pimp shades to drive those assholes back into outer space (Slow motion pimp shades zoom in with gansta music). Tossed in a purdy coat of Japanese inspired comic-book art, you can pick it up on for $24 US dollars on Steam right now.

Full written review below, or check out the video version (giveaway included)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sn9NfNmzt04
Story
Earth's Dawn isn’t going to win any awards for storytelling. You are charged with reclaiming Earth from invading aliens. You’ve hi-jacked some alien technology and now you’re a superhero laser shooting, katana swinging badass capable of going toe-to-toe with some of the galaxies scariest creatures. Sound like a Michael Bay movie? You betcha.
(Insert Micahel Bay)

Gameplay
Gameplay in Earth’s Dawn revolves around the mashup between it’s boost and juggle systems. You can mix together melee and ranged attacks in mid-air and dance around the screen with your dashes which replenish over time. When you’ve smashed your enemies down far enough, you can open up with finishers to execute.

A dedicated combo system would have gone a long way to make the combat more satisfying. Where are the abundant special abilities, special melee attacks and why isn’t there a combo system to create links and cancels during combat? With these features omitted, gameplay often feels a little disjointed as you will be at the mercy of simply smashing the attack button over and over until an enemy's lifebar is depleted. Finisher...rinse and repeat. Fun for a while, but then repetition sets in.

To counter that litany, the game does have a lavish loot and upgrade system. Unfortunately, there is also shocking amount of missed opportunities in terms of this progression system. Most unlocks are simply stat enhancers, sadly, and do little to vary up the gameplay save a few interesting movement unlockables.

On the bright side, boss battles in Earth’s Dawn are pretty epic and challenging, not to mention really enjoyable to look at.

Aesthetics
The beautiful manga-based art style is a treat to look at while playing, and while the characters are silly and charming, the environments are far less colorful and personality-driven than games like Dragons Crown . Animations are flashy, however, and give a nice pop to the otherwise suprisingly grey and brown dominated environments. Yeah, there’s a lot of grey here, a lot of caves and rocks, and a lot of stone and fire. I was craving green in Earth’s Dawn. Trees, grass, sunshine radiating through the screen as it exists in it’s competitors games, but on the positive the game does offset this monotone environment style with effects that seem to light up those dark places. Tons of spells and abilities burst and splash through the game space like fireworks - really fun stuff to watch.

It should be noted that the game has no english voice overs and the music is fairly uninspired.

Cons and Opportunities
Due to the mission structure and lack of gameplay variety, Earth Dawn will begin to feel repetitive. Depending on your tolerance, that could be a few hours, or 15 in to the game. Whatever the case, you’ll beg for Earth’s Dawn to mix things up, give you interesting tools and really explore deep gameplay mechanics as you progress through the game. Sadly, that never happens. Games like Odin Sphere present far more depth to the gameplay, more satisfying chain mechanics, and really give us more personality overall.

Also, I would like to the camera panned back a bit and some improvements made to your AI friends. Most of the time they sit there like they are half-asleep - all they do is take up the valuable screen space that is already lacking in the first place.

Verdict
I love Japanese inspired games. And I love sidescrollers. So for me, I enjoyed Earth’s Dawn for a few hours. It sits in the bucket of ‘average, yet competant game.’ I can’t slam it, and I can’t praise it.

Buy this game if you already love the formula of Odin’s Sphere. I'd say it's worth it for fans, otherwise it may be a game worth skipping.

It *could* have been good, had it more variety in scenery and enemies, less difficulty spikes and allowed for less reliance on linear gear progression / more build variety. Controls are fine, even with keyboard, but each boss enemy represents a gear check for which you need to either grind components to craft better weapons (in terms of raw damage ourput or required mods like, for example, defense down), or grind enhancement materials to upgrade existing ones.
Not as hardcore as it could have been, and thanks for that, but way too grindy for my tastes.

Think of Vanillaware games such as Muramasa and Odin Sphere, as well as (the non-Vanillaware-title) Mercenary Kings.

Then set it to a post-apocalyptic world invaded by robotic aliens, but dial back the story even more.

And then make the crafting and progress focused on grinding specific enemies, for specific parts, for specific gear. Like Mercenary Kings.

If this sounds awesome to you, you should give this a try. If you hate grinding of any sort, though, you might be disappointed. To be fair, once an enemy has been killed, you know what it will drop, making it rather easy to farm things.

King Donco of Punhcistania
King Donco of …

havent finished it but so far its been fun, its no odin sphere or muramas but its closest you will get to it on pc without emulation. it has a nice crafting system as well as a robust skill system that allows for a bit of experimentation. You will need to hunt down certain body parts and there is some grinding in the sense that depending on the rarity of the body part, it may give you the effects you want on your weapons. Game really opens up once you acquire new weapons and skills that allow for more freedom. Enemies have different weaknesses so you need to keep on your toes as to what you bring to the fight. enemy variety could be better but they differentiate by having differen movesets. boss fights are fun and they dont seem annoyingly impossible. The art depends on the person, i personally enjoyed the artsyle especially the female avatar and all the enemies as well as the bosses are pretty well done. Camera placement might be too close though but i can see why they did it, still it might annoy the hell out of you. Overall i recommend it at 20 bucks but if you get at 15 the better.

This game is just awesome! :)

It's like a mix of of 2D RPG, metroidvania, fighting game and bullet hell with crafting and kinda "monster hunter" elements. I really like the art, it looks original and really fits to postapocalyptic world setting. It feels a little bit like Odins Sphere but with different setting and not so deep RPG elements.

Combat - well crafted. You can use double (even triple later) jumps, boosts and air boosts (kind of fast dashes, you can even improve it's distance or add homing through point investment). You can use swords, guns, broadswords (2h great swords combined with gun), shurikens (great fast and deadly weps), crossbows, combinations of 1-h sword and gun or dual swords. Also you are not limited to 1 weapon set, later in the game, you'll get skill which allows you to manage 2 different and switch them even in missions (combat).

Skills - you can manage 5 different skill sets, each with maximum of 200 points invested. You can improve your attacks, learn new abilities such as sword shield, homing boost, max air jump increase, you can raise your imunity to several efects such as burn, paralyze, freeze etc. up to 100%, increase your HP and stats and so on.

Craft - craft is really good, sometimes you need to grind to get rare materials, but it's not that bad since combat is really enjoyable. You can craft and upgrade weapons, armor, accessories and costumes (avatar armor and head gear with no stats / effect). Once you beat the game main missions and final boss, you can start with "endless" mission where you can gain some special materials and boost your weapons even more with extra stats.

Story - story is good - i mean like background story for this kind of game. Nothing epic with movies and tons of cutscenes, story of Earth's Dawn is about few pictures displayed and narrated simply by text and Japanese voice actors (very good imo).

Music - i really like it, great tracks

Overall: original action mix with really good combat system and great and original art. Gem! :)

BARF_FACE_9000
BARF_FACE_9000

I have to admit my expectations for this game were pretty high prior to having played it. Also this is not a staunch "No" to the game overall as it isn't terrible, however this is a cautionary review to anyone considering paying full price for the game. I would only buy this game when/if it is significantly discounted, 29.99 is quite a hefty price tag to be asking for it, and even at 14.99 when I bought it for half off I can't help but feel I would have gotten more bang for my buck from other titles.

While the art and design of the characters and enemies are undeniably cool-looking and the story is full of sci fi tropes fans of the genre will enjoy (requisitioning alien technology for human / earthling use, an imminent alien threat...) the gameplay itself is pretty repetitive. The effects can be cool as enemies explode into colorful "firework" looking displays of sparks and particles, however defeating the same enemies with the same execution animation for the nth time begins to wear thin relatively quickly. A limited moveset for the player (you can boost/dash, double jump, slide, etc...) is expanded as you unlock other abilities, but the movement itself feels quite stilted. (If other players of the game have abilities or weapons they recommend unlocking to make your character's movements / style seem less "blocky" than what is offered at the base level, I'm open to hear them...) Some cool, large boss fights shake up the action, but the overall gameplay loop is pretty basic.

If you're a diehard fan of sci fi / anime and intrigued by the setting or look of the game I might suggest still giving it a go but I would definitely wait to snag it during a sale as what is present feels a bit thin.

TL;DR

Games great, I recommend it for $15-$30 based on what your personal taste for this kind of game is.

If you like side-scrolling beat-em ups with light RPG and easy to learn, slightly hard to master combos and enemy patterns, there's a nice variety of enemies, weapons, attacks and combos. Story is standard, if a little generic. Graphics are pretty, animations are stiff but get the job done. Gameplay is superb for beat-em up fans, lots of "Get all the S ranks" in this game.

I recommend it to fans of 2D fighters, beat-em ups, platinum games as a company, and Ska Studios titles.

IMPRESSIONS:
This game is fantastic. I'm a huge fan of sidescrolling beat'em ups. One of my all time favorite games is Dungeon Fighter Online, as well as Dragon's Crown on the Playstation 3. To give you a basic idea of what my taste is,

My top 5 games as of this review:

1.Monster Hunter
2.Dark Souls
3.Dragon's Crown
4.Dungeon Fighter Online
5.Metal Gear Franchise

With that as a base line for what I like, here's my thoughts on the game.

STORY:
Not much to say here, without any real spoilers, Aliens are a thing, they're bad, humans almost went extinct except they didn't because super tech happened based on aliens. Now mankind bounces back, with the help of YOU! Hijinks and planet eating aliens insue from this series of events.

It's a standard fare with an anime style Sci-Fi. Basic, to the point, mostly a setup for the game. No awards here.

SOUND:
Soundtrack is a standard deal here as well, mostly electric and synth, combat sounds good. Guns have decent bang and boom to their noise, blades feel nice, attacking gives you different sounds based on if you hit a CRITICAL or a back attack, or if you BREAK the opponent. Good feedback here, music is plain.

Good job on the combat noise, not so much on the soundtrack.

GRAPHICS:
What you see is what you get, nice particles, good character sprites and the enemies all look cool. Despite their messy looking details, they stand out easily. The "Trooper" tyle enemies stand out amongst all the others, and you can tell them apart from the rest in a crowd. Explosions and bodyparts go flying, honestly if you like the look of the screenshots, you won't be disappointed. The whole game looks like that.

I personally like it, so great work here.

GAMEPLAY:
The gameplay to me is pretty straight-forward, you have two buttons. One for each hand, then you can jump, boost, and use the "EXCEED" ability, which is a fancy name for rage mode. The fun comes when you learn how to start juggling enemies, chaining certain attacks with bullets, knocking an enemy in the air, striking them 5 or 6 times, then stopping just before your slam dunk attack, and shooting them with your gun to keep them floating in the air, boosting under them and repeating the process with any variation you choose. The combat is what I love this game for, it's really well done. Simple buttons, grand experience.

This is the meat of the game, and my favorite part of the whole product. (Perhaps, arguably the ONLY part of the product)

HOW IT ALL COMES TOGETHER:
The way the game plays, you start in a menu of customize, craft, settins and missions. You always return to this menu after a mission, you only fight in missions. You can recieve items and rewards for your own use in crafting new gear, and since each and every enemy drops their own materials, this adds a nice level of learning "Gotta kill this creature to get his claws" in order to build new equipment. Each mission has it's own individual objective, ranging from "RACE TO THIS SPOT" to "Kill everything ever"

You can find these blue orbs in the stage similar to coins or rings in Mario or Sonic respectively, except in this game, they boost your maximum "Skill Capacity." As you kill enemies, you get Experience points to level up, which boosts your characters stats over-all. However, you also get this blue substance that boosts your "Skill Capacity" Missions can rewards you with stat boosts that you spend this maximum capacity to activate on whatever loadout you are using. These abilities range from Stat boosts, resistances to certain ailments, bonuses based on situations and equipements, and brand new attacks and movement / combat options.

The other options on the menus is customization, which is where you use the money (energy is the currency) you've earned to upgrade your gear, or make entirely new gear. There are ways to customize their stats with elements and status debuffs. You can also unlock and craft new cosmetic items, although these are fairly limited. This is a fun feature, and I enjoy it's use in the game.

Settings is standard, graphics options are limited, multi-language support, all voice acting is japanese only, resolution and effects changes are available. Nothing special here.

OVERALL:
I'm a fan of this game, and I wanted to buy it on Playstation 4 for a long while now, however the $30 price tag kept me from doing so. However, I never knew it came out on steam, and the moment I found it then saw the price at $15 on sale, I jumped on it.

I am so glad I did. This game is so worth that price to me. If you're looking for a recommended price from someone who likes this game, I'd say it's worth around:

$15 - $30

The game is priced JUST RIGHT for me to say it's worth the money.

Aerugo
Aerugo

The Seventh Son
The Seventh Son

I recommend this game, but not at 30 dollars. Get it on sale for at least 50% off.

The TLDR: This game is diet Monster hunter. It has all the concept sthat make the game fun, but none of the concepts that make the game great.

Story: Nothing inspiring. Typical invasive alien/monster/demon/etc comign tod estory humanity, then we fight back and win. The game attempts to create a more serious in depth story with the commander or general's videos where he's slowly losing his mind. I'm sure translation is a factor here, but it jsut wasn't interesting and felt basic.

Visuals: the visuals are solid. When it come sto platformers, visuals are very important to me. For the most part, I liked the visuals. The armors all look cool, the weapons look cool, the enemies have good detail. However, the female playable character is off. Where the males look like bad ass soldiers in armor, the females look dead or souless. Like their head was attached to an android body, or they're combat dolls or something. I played through as a male, then switched to female when the game ended and it asked me to choose a new body. Armor visuals are very different for males and female, down to there 3ven being gender based armors, which was kind of disappointing. Other than the females, though, I enjoyed the visuals.

Audio: I don't know Japanese, so id idn't realyl lsiten tot he voice acting. The action sounds do their job, but nothing about them realyl stood out. The music isn't bad. Honestly, not the game's strongest point, but also one of the elast important aspects.

Gameplay/combat: This is realyl what saved the game. The game doesn't bring anything new to the table in terms of gameplay, but all of it's mechanics are implimented well. The game is fun, and if you're a monste rhunter fan waiting for the next one to come out, this can help fill that a little. lots of bonus missions for 100%ers, and plenty of reasons to need to do them (crafting). This genre likes grinding, a little, and the game does a good job of giving the player a reason to grind without creating a huge amount of grind time.

The Bosses are all fun to fight, and had different mechanics for each. Plus, there's an easy, normal, and hard version of every mission (including story missions.) with better rewards for higher difficulty. The different weapon styles all -felt- different int heir execution, and were introduced witht ime to let the player try out the weapona nd see if it fits them. The only weapon I didn't try was the bow. That said, the de3vs were lazy with basic enemies. Within the first few levels you've fought every non boss enemy in the game. fromt here on they just change their color and give them elements. A little disappointing, but the focus on this game is on the bosses, which are well done.

Veterans of this genre will not find this game to be a challenge. There are a few places I had to do a couple times, but for the most part the game was more fun than challenging.

This game is a surprise treat for me when I am bored of grinding in another game. Just played the intro, having taken down the tutorial boss, but I would like share my first impression with you since this game is on sale with a decent discount.

It's a sidescroll 2d hack&slash game with full controller support (works smoothly with Xbox one controller).

I've been following this game for quite a long time, i like its theme being fighting mech monsters in the post-appocalyptic world, and its artstyle.

The bgm is engaging. Cutscenes dubbed in Japanese (if you are into it). Puppet-like animations but not the rigid type. The combat actions are extremely good.

The game has an indepth crafting system with paper-doll system. It also has an customizable skill tree. These elements will contribute to its replayablity.

Definitely recommend it on current sale being 67% off.
Will update review when i finish the game.

Great game, I'm basically 2 hours in and I love it so far.

The way you customize your character is quite good as well, also the game can get very difficult at some points so you must know when place your strikes and learn their attack patterns. Also the designs of the characters are amazing and I love the art style that they used for it.

If I had to point to the flaw of this game it would be it's just not interesting. It has other gameplay mechanics that I could complaina bout but when the game isn't even fun enough to get to those issues then we have a problem. This takes the wonderful formula of Odin Sphere and makes it feel like a hack and slash, adding passives that amount to (+1 stat)

To be honest I didn't expect too much from this game, but honestly it's pretty damn entertaining. The right amount of grind, some nice eyecandy, some unfair enemies that you can overcome with either skill or more grind... the artwork is nicely done and the only thing that would make this better would be some form of simple multiplayer. Controls are not too hard, combos are easily accessible and I love the upgrade system, even if there isn't as much customizeability as I would like, it's more "Get more stuff" than "Customize your stuff" but it's still good functionality.

As long as this is available for a reasonable price like the current sale (75% off) this game is solid entertainment if you like the gameplay mixture of an RPG brawler. From what I hear, the problem is the publisher that is forcing the developer to sell it overpriced on the PC market and the developer is selling this game like hotcakes on the console market in the online stores for 5 bucks... close to the current sale price.

I can wholeheartedly recommend buying this game for below 10 bucks, I would even say it's worth 15 and it is money well spent. 30 is overpriced and will push this game into niche obscurity like EDF 4.1 which is also incredibly entertaining but the sales are being massacred by the high price.

This developer definitely put some love in and they deserve 2 thumbs up.

I received this as a gift from a friend, but was surprised to find how well it plays. The dirth of options feels overwhelming in the beginning but you quickly begin to understand what everything is. Even though the game offers no explanation about what buttons do what, you get the hang of it pretty easily within the first mission.

It feels a lot like a mix of other Vanilla Soft games, or The Vagrant combined with Salt & Sanctuary or The Dishwasher. Very fun so far.

Bought this in the current sale and turned out to be a right gem, there seems to be a good storyline and customizable accessories and alot of weapons to boot to choose from and you can choose to play m/f. I will say this for a game that originally cost 24.99 it asks you to run in big picture to get the best out of your controller (be aware if you're a hater)

Overall my experience of 20hrs was £6.99 was a good one, hope there's a follow up

This is actually really freaking good for the little amount of reviews it has. Apparently it slipped past most people's radar. The combat feels smooth and extremely fun, I play with a controller so I can't say if its the same for keyboard. It's like a 2D Devil May Cry combat wise. Then Monster Hunter when it comes to making new weapons armor and cosmetics.

A great game that is somewhat similar to games from Vanillaware. Totally recommend it.

2D arcade side scroller with a realtime Darkest Dungeon feel. Set in a great futuristic environment with tonnes of nasty beasts to chop, slice, dice, shoot and splatter. Crafting galore too. Certainly worth a look for fans of Arcade, Fighter, 2D and Anime fans. Excellent fun!!!

It's monster hunter in 2D.
Of sorts.
Gameplay is excellent, but the game looks... weird to say the least.
Buy it on sale.

This game gets a bad review because I have a PS4 controller and for some reason RIGHT TRIGGER does not work.
I played the game without using it till I got to the first place you need to use it in order to jump higher, so I though I was doing wrong and I need some kind of upgrade or something.
I've wasted about 2 hours before I figured out that the damn game doesn't let me use the RT, what the hell.
I know u can do something about it with a software of whatever but I'm not gonna bother.
If you fix this I'll play again and retract this review, if steam lets me.

UPDATE:
Okay I've come full circle after I discovered that if I stop the PS controller support on Steam the buttons will work.
The best I can describe the game is that it's a Grind fest. The game is quite fun though the locations feel the same and you'll find yourself using some weapons more then others since they are more useful.
I've played almost 20 hours and I still can't figure out how u get different powers on your weapons.
When u want to equip something it's really annoying because u don't know what u equip except u know its a gun or sword or whatever, it's just text and unless u know the weapon's name you'll equip and re:equip the weapons many many times.
I got the game on a SALE so I'm not gonna complain but if you pay full price for it, I believe u got ripped off, even $15 i think it's too much. For how much u get it should be priced around $10 bucks and when it's on sale about $5.

i really liked this game and played it on the switch and was able to get on the pc now, do recommend but not on the pc, the controls are weird because they have you using the arrow keys to move and z to jump, c to dash and a/s to attack overall the controls work better on the switch, i also really like the soundtrack shame that the only way i've been able to find getting it is from itunes but the soundtrack is japan exclusive and i don't live in japan so if anyone out there can help with it would be greatly appreciated

edit: turns out you can just change the controls to what you want

A decent enough action game experience. While I certainly enjoyed most of my time with this game, I can't recommend it at full price. It looks good, I found the combat fun, and the story was interesting enough.

Advice for those that intend to go through it:
The arrows fired from the bow do little damage, and it's primary damage dealer is through it melee attacks. No I don't understand why,

The drop rates on materials seem higher on Hard. This is not only useful for getting items you want, but also for missions where you have to collect items, which are actually easier on Hard because of this.

You can disable parts of the weapons' attacks through the skill menu. This is mostly relevant for the air combos, whose last attack tends to ground you, and you might not want that as attacking will keep you up in the air.

You need to land in order for boost to begin recharging.

Some stuff in it is absolutely wonderful.
But some stuff leaves to be desired.
Developing a new game with some of the stuff as foundations from here could make for a super great game.
Talented people were surely involved in making this. If that talent could be channeled into a deeper, richer game it could lead to something very successful.

This game is quite boring. Control is rigid. Weapon is kinda boring . And skill assignment ? well bad design comes to mind.
