I'm on chapter 8 and it's actually a decent detective story/sim! The story has kept me playing this long. Well the art is great too and not overly sexual, yet... The story choices are fun. You have the choice to be mean or nice. I think the story is the strongest part of the game so far! How can you not love killer clowns stalking college girls! KUDOS to the dev's! I recommend this to anyone liking sexy anime art, dating sims and killer clown stories! I for one, like the story so far.

The game runs silky smooth on my computer:

Hardware Overview:

Model Name: MacBookPro 11,5 (Mid 2015)
Processor Name: Intel Core i7
Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 6 MB
Memory: 16 GB Type: DDR3 Speed: 1600 MHz
Video Card: AMD Radeon R9 M370X, VRAM 2048 MB

Operating System: OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6 (64 bit OS)

EDIT: After finishing the game a few times, trying to get all the achivements, I can now say that this game does have very sexual adult content. Not for minors! It's short, but fun and I did like the story a lot! The hands on sexual parts were okay, but I'm married and it just felt wrong! lol

PainIsRelative
PainIsRelative

It was very short, I died pretty fast and I died two different ways. It was genuinely fun - investigating and flirting. The sex scenes were a bit strange like you didn't have an animation for hands but an emoji of a banana... I would recommend this game if it's on sale but it was kind of a let down..

I haven't yet played through every path available. but have finished the game a couple times already. Here's just a few of my initial impressions of the game.

The good:

It's actually a pretty cool little visual novel. It's got a fair number of choices you can make throughout despite it being so short. The art is very well done as are the music and sound effects. The main story is simple. But honestly, the fanservice along with some of the humorous dialog choices presented make it easy to forget about the story and just play around.

The bad:

Most of the negative issues I encountered were due to the interface. The game uses the Unity engine which means that a lot of the functionality of a regular visual novel engine is not present by default and has to be reproduced manually or through the use of an addon. The first major feature missing is the ability to skip through stuff you've done before on successive play throughs. There's also no way to go back (that I can see) in case you accidentally missed reading something or in case you want to redo a particular choice that you may have accidentally speed clicked through because there's no way to auto skip through and stop at the next choice (the default scroll wheel which is the defacto method of going back in other VN engines doesn't work for that functionality here at least). And if there is a way to do these things, then surprisingly enough, there are no instructions on how to go about doing them. In fact, when scrambling to bring up a menu to see how to close the game because I heard another member of my family walking up behind me, it was up to me to guess which key to press to bring up the menu (thankfully, it was the Escape key). Thankfully the story is short enough that playing through again by just clicking through everything isn't a total pain.

Overall though, it's still a pretty entertaining little game (especially with the 18+ patch).

I have to say, I've always wanted to play this type of game, but I've always feared the kind of cringing it would bring on. This was my first experience and I am so very glad it was. I'll go over it in a couple of categories, just to round out a review.

The Art: Fantastic. All of the characters are drawn very well; They show emotion with the simplest changes of expression, which I'd imagine is very hard to pull off, but they do! And one particular thing that really helped me suspend my disbelief, the characters changed clothes every in-game day! I know that seems like a small detail, but it goes a long way in pulling you in.

The Story: Well-Crafted. I was very surprised by how this game ended, more specifically by how excited I actually was to see the ending. All along you're given clues and contacts and other things to interact with... It's not super complicated, don't be expecting an INVESTIGATOR SIMULATOR 2017 kind of thing... But it keeps you engaged with a genuine sense that each little choice you make, will echo somewhere later on. It's a short story, so that lets them have decision making that actually means something. It's very tight.

Additional Comments: I just finished my first playthrough, with NO SEX! NO TITTEHS! NO NOTHING! I played the absolute friend-zone all along, not peeping in anybody's windows when the game gave me the opportunity. I feel really proud of myself... but GOD DAMN... I am starting playthrough number two NOW! I can't wait to be a total dick to everyone, who does nothing but use his dick!

Great Game! If you have any interest in the genre or are looking to try one and get started, START WITH THIS ONE :)

Boring, generic, finished game in 65 minutes. Not even worth the five dollars, I've seen point n click porn games better then this trifle.

It's pretty decent. It reminds me of HuniePop but with a story to it. I've only played it for 20 minutes but hopefully the game gets good. Seeing the other reviews aobut the game being short does make me want to play the game slowly so I can play it for longer but if that's the case, I recommend a DLC being released for it with new chapters and new storylines with new girls.

So this is my first review, but something abou Frisky Business makes me want to write about it so here goes. First, most people have to understand that the game is not an entirely serious game, which from one look at screenshots is pretty obvious. It's a visual novel, which has a pretty decent story that knows it won't be taken seriously, adding to the humor and ease of access. Illustrations were done well, writing was pretty solid and I had an overall good time. The game was a bit too short, which is a common complaint among players on the forums. Another sorely missed feature is the abilty to make save states, leading to run becoming a bit too long. There's lots of replayability to get different endings and to "make friends" with the different girls, which was great. All in all, I can't wait for Frisky Business 2! 8/10 for a grade.

I am honestly shocked on how much I am enjoying this game. I was expecting a great looking VN (I saw the ad pictures on Steam only so far before I bought this Frisky Business.) but I had no idea that this game would be incredibly funny as well.

Let me be honest, I figured that the "Dharker Studio" games were fun but I truly needed to play this...you know, a game that just beats all of your expectations and shows that a VN can be great again.

It is late so I couldn't finish it but so far, I rate this at least an 8.5 out of 10 so far. This could go up but like I said, I am only a little ways into it and I don't want to have my hopes too high for it, I want to be happy if it does well but not annoyed if it doesn't.

Yeaaaahhhhh, I don't know about this title; every component feels pretty 'meh' even for five bucks. I wanna be kind to the game, but I can't recommend this to friends with a straight face.

Obviously, this is a visual novel with minor choices-that-matter gameplay. The artwork isn't bad, but compared with titles like HuniePop and Negligee, it's just ho-hum. And, yeah, those titles are more expensive - I get that. The whole thing is a click-fest. The writing in Frisky Business is mediocre. The clown villian is campy, albeit generic. The storyline is super short. I completed the game once in just under an hour, AND nearly finished a second run in 15 minutes by skipping through stuff I had previously read. There are multiple endings, but it didn't merit more playthroughs for me. There are no options to review scenes like many similiar games.

Frisky Business did have some good humor, though. I can't say I didn't mildly enjoy the playthrough, but I would recommend other visual novels wayyy before spending time with this one. Check out the two I mentioned above, and also Va11-Halla, Magical Diaries, and Hatoful Boyfriend (it would be a miracle if I got all those titles spelled correctly).

Pros:
+Humor is good
+Characters were fairly well developed for such a short storyline
+Multiple endings, but you have to slog through mostly repetitve story which dramatically shortens those extra playthroughs
+There is a patch, at least
+It's cheap

Cons:
-Artwork is so-so compared to competitor titles (and yeah, most of them are a bit pricier - but they are worth it)
-No collection of scenes like many similiar titles
-Music is generic
-Story is certainly nothing special

If you are really into smutty visual novels and have exhausted the better ones - give this a go, otherwise wait for a deep discount.

No fastforward or skip button.

I can ignore the cheesiness of the story, but multiple playthroughs are beyond difficult because of this. Bought the game because it had certain 'content', and I love a good mystery, but it gets horribly repetitive when you're trying to get all achievements, and can't even skip to the choices that will help you get them.

Some of the dialogue, because of how cliche it was, became predictable enough for my thoughts to align with the characters. Nothing I would say is impressive, and certainly not enough to make me go and refund the game. I bought it for the mystery and the content, which I would say that it did fulfill. Although the frequent chapter transitions really make me believe that it could have easily just been merged together. Easier to also not have a chapter checkpoint as a save.

There's also how the text has a lot of the 'i's not capitalized like it should be, and considering this is a paid product, it really shouldn't be that way. Especally with the number of people in the credits. Still going to say yes on recommending the game however, since it actually was what I was looking to buy for the most part.

transformer81
transformer81

The game has a satisfying, if short story. the game play (while very simple) could have used more features. While I would not mind a little more "content" (this is on Steam, so...), it does handle the dating aspect fairly well. All in all, there are better VN games out there, but Frisky Business is still worth it's price.

delixer

A simple and funny visual novel. Artwork won't win any awards but decent enough. Worth the $2.49 that I paid.

Overall: 7/10

Pros:
+ Somewhat interesting plot
+ Conversation choices can make a big difference
+ Multiple Endings

Cons:
- No skip/auto button
- No gallery of unlocked art/scenes or chapter select

Taebrythn
Taebrythn

I think it was pretty funny. before you go and buy it know there is huge boobs on all of the girls. if that isn't your thing just don't buy it. It also has adult content that you can choose to add or not. its a simple game. simply using the left mouse and holding it around the banana areas will allow you to complete the mini games. I don't know if its there in the censored versions.

i enjoy the artwork, music, and its not the typical storyline.

now there are features that i think were lacking in this novel such as skipping, saving, more slots to save on, options to turn the music up/down, backlog to see text you might of clicked too fast. Currently if you do click you could miss it and there is zero way to see missed text. I'm not sure if there is enough to do a gallery. if they do a 2nd one i think it would be nice to see different body options besides just large breasts such as medium small etc. this way it might attract more customers. i also hope to see the same artist again. they did do a good job.

First off the important item--lol--getting the H patch to work took me 2 hours compared to 5 minutes for Army Gals and Sakura Swim club combined. I am sure people with better computer skills can do it quicker but the average consumer is in for a challenge. Think of it as an unadvertised mini-game--lol. The game is basically Hunie Pop with out the marble matching or date gifts or anything but flirting and sex. The game has a few jokes and is done tongue in cheek fashion. I got it for under $3 and at that price it is a recommended buy, if you like short silly stories. Not erotic imho or pornagraphic but amusing. The sexual content it is not for children with or without the patch. It is SHORT.

Carnium
Carnium

I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Short, but sweet.

Down to facts.

PROS:
- great cartoonish look that reminds me of an old German erotic games that I have played a long time ago (Lula: The Sexy Empire)
- interesting story that keeps you peeled to the screen until you finish it
- those mini games with girls are "interesting". Especially if you get the uncensor patch from the developers (HINT: check the message board for it).
- funny dialogues where you can try and play a smartass, a charmer or a cold detective. Maybe even a combination of all three :)

CONS:
- no way to replay an already finished chapter. You need to start all over if you missed something or want to play something differently. That was my biggest grip with the game.
- CLICKING. There is no fast forward or skip text option in this game. Not a problem on the first playthrough, but .....
- the game is short and I was able to finish it in two hours with some chapter restarts to see the other options.

Final score:
8/10

Especially recommended when it's on sale!

This is an entertaining VN with plenty of choices to make along the way. You can be an absolute jerk to everyone, or you can bang the girls, or a bit of each. With a good guide, I had all achievements in about 3 hours of game time.

Pros:
art
characters
good story

Cons:

no save function
no gallery
no skip function

Even with the cons, I still recommend this for those who like visual novels.

Jabroni Binyot

Frisky business is a fun detective story that can heavily rely on smut. Which is pretty interesting because it doesnt force you into a specific route, and you can focus on the story by being actually professional.

the art is pretty good, and the story can be cheesy sometimes, but its the good kind of cheesy. And the final chapter can actually be pretty intense.

However, it misses some features that is pretty standard in Visual novels, such as a saving system apparantly it only saves at the start of a chapter. There is also no log, so if you miss a line, no way to read it back. No CG gallery either.

I would definetly recommend this game to anyone that either likes cheesy detective stories or want some good smut (there is an uncen patch) its well, well worth the price.

Length: took me 1.2 hrs to get the happy ending but if you like different characters there are many others. I read fairly quickly as well.
Art: Amazing and awesome but slightly inconsistent
Music: Awesome and varied
Writing: Excellent
Humor: It's pretty funny
Price: Fairly inexpensive
Didn't like the girls' personalities much but they were cute.
Unique sexual content that stays borderline innuendo - not hardcore or even softcore if that's what you want.

Great game if a little too short and I didn't like all the romance options' personalities but they were cute enough.

It's great for one or two hours of fun :-)

First impression; got blasted away by waaaay too loud music, looked for Options, saw that there were no Options button, clicked Escape because hey this ain't my first rodeo, got to some kind of menue with some weird gun symbol that couldn't be clicked, save, load etc and a button with a music note on it. So basically music, and sound I assume, are either On or Off, NO volume controls! Biiiiiiig fat red flag there!

Started the game, okay the dialogue's pretty good, a few missing spaces in sentences and the names of locations are pretty much all misspelled somehow, for instance it says Girl's House, when there's 3 girls living there, it should be The Girls' House.

Picked Jenny because thought I'd go for the threesome route, goes pretty easy then wham, she hits me with some stupid trivia questions, wtf. A few quick searches aaaand, wth is this? A banana? Umm... So I start clicking around like crazy, okay you're supposed to fill that stupid crystal heart somehow? God this is stupid, so I click here and then uuuuh? Somehow make it through, then I finally realize you're supposed to click and rotate the banana anti clock-wise around her....
If you're thinking about buying this game only for the smut, let me repeat that sentence again for you, you click and rotate the banana cursor anti clock-wise around her, and that's it. Felt about as erotic and satisfying as dipping your arm into a clogged drain. Every single sex scene is nothing but that, anti clock-wise banana cursor rotation. No animations, just a still picture or two with some uninspired moan sound effects. Yeah you like that you life-less cut-away, you like me rotating the banana? *Ahrm* And this was with the "patch" installed as well!

Seriously, I dunno if they were trying to be hipstery and ironic or something, dumb as fuck though, completely pointless, I never thought I'd see the day where they managed to make sex scenes a negative instead of an added bonus, there is zero point in having them. If they were intentionally trying to troll everyone who bought this game, mission accomplished, but that's not how you get return customers.

Anyways, continued, eventually got the threesome on my first try (more banana rotating) yadda-yadda aaaand bad end. So it turns out, that the only positive about this game, y'know the fun dialogue? Yeah, you're not supposed to have fun, if you pick the fun dialogue options, you lose. You have to suck up to everyone, including the *Minor Spoilers* creepy spore growing, gps implanting, k-pop look-a-like super nerd. How fun is that? Not a whole damn lot.

I did a second playthrough anyways, got a good ending, if you can call it that (do not pick Lucy, ever). And it was just awful having to click and click and click again and again, if you're going to do a visual novel style game without using Renpy, at least program the fucking thing to have the same basic functionality! How bout a skip button, a save function that isn't auto-save, end credits that you can click away instead of having to sit through them TWICE. The collectible items you get from girls, there is no way to view them, so you might as well not be getting them at all. Can't replay scenes either (why ever would you want to though) so no gallery. And after the end credits stopped rolling, suddenly it stopped registering mouse clicks in the game, it worked in the menue, but I had to manually restart the game to get it to work again.

TL:DR, as far as I'm concerned, there's only one reason to play this mostly broken game, for the dialogue, there is some slightly fun stuff in there, but like I said you get punished for picking those choices, so they fucked THAT up too. I got it for 0,99Euro though, got some entertainment for uh, dunno half an hour or so maybe, maybe an hour, so there's that, but as a visual novel style game this one is extremely lacking.

I bought this for a laugh, thinking of a nice art style and a bit of undercover romance. After all, i had just finished Doki Doki Literature club and i was in the mood for another VN. Doki Doki is a free visual novel, with a psychological aspect you won't get from any other visual novel. The characters all have their own plot for joining the club and the actual files for the game are riddled with Easter eggs. The death scenes live up to be some of the creepier I’ve seen. The Only thing holding Doki Doki back was Monika telling you how to delete herself, but they even tied that into the game, so i overlooked it. The game had a cutie art style too, solidifying it as the best visual novel i have ever played. i bought this with £0.81 in my steam account, left with 2 pence left. I began loading up the game and i was bombarded with loud music, of a jazz type. I then got into the save and load screen, which i started my first play through of the game, and i almost immediately noticed there wasn't a save button in sight. I only now realised i didn't press escape, but this is a visual novel and there has never been a need to, so i overlooked it. Then we got to the office, with no explanation of the 2 characters immediately shown. I struggled to work out who i was actually playing as. I worked it out after the first 2 dialogue selections. Then i was given the opportunity to go and help a cat out of a tree, with a character I’ll get into soon, who i can't even remember the name of. I was being the helpful man, and we head back to the office and that’s that. The character in question ends up giving Frisk (your character if i haven't mentioned) a set of cat ears, and she pops up out of nowhere. I told her i had work to do and that was literally the last time i remember seeing her. Now i think, i remember the name of the girl in Melonz because i remember thinking "i thought this would be an exotic drink bar or some sort of pub", but no, it’s a cheap Hooters. all of my choices in the game would have been avoided if the developer spent more time telling us what was happening through what Frisk sees and not dialogue, because the visual text was the simplest things like *turns on radio* or something like that. Once Again, Doki Doki had so much of this that i never questioned what was happening. I knew and had an explanation. Then again, the Grammar to almost everything was bad, even "the girls house", which was spelt as "the girl's house" Throughout the entire game. My ending was being killed, which i could have avoided if the game would tell me what happens. I don't even remember a set of instructions either, so when i got jenny and gitruid (however you bloody spell it) back into my apartment, i was just clicking, not knowing that i had to use a banana icon to rub their breasts and vaginal areas. This game is not the best in the world, i would not recommend it to the most beginners of players because even then the grammar was horrific and the story was empty. Even if you came for the sex scene, you will be disappointed, and thus i don't think this game should be 0.81 of the queens’ money.

Or in other words, Don't buy it.

Frisky Business is a straight forward visual novel with a late night 80's cable television programming vibe. The humor is mild, but not atrocious. The visuals are cell shaded cartoons (take that any way you will). The main storyline is pretty basic, with slight dialogue deviation options that lead to different endings. The reaction sound effects were more of a plus than I expected, as it helped make otherwise flimsy characters have some life in them. Lots of achievements are offered to encourage trying all different dialogue options to see how the story plays out, but a lack of speeding up text option can make replays somewhat tedious. I came across two different bugs, neither are game breaking. All in all, it is a mild distraction that offers silly ways to get in bed with multiple ladies, all while solving a scooby doo-esque mystery.

It was... an interesting experiment... ? I guess?

It looks and plays like a freshman attempt at a visual novel, honestly I bought it because:

haven't unlocked all the achievements yet but I enjoyed what I played. the game has a real indie feel and many of the choices in the game are very unintuitive but the game's logic is entertaining. could probably go back to complete the achievements but that would probably be a slog. I just found this game on the Steam discount for 1 euro and wow, was I pleasantly surprized. First of all it's a real adult sexual game in the sense that you get sexual gameplay as well as a lot of romance options with a detailed story and good graphics. If you are a fan of adult games or sexy visual novels, you will be happy with this game. It's actually also one of the few games that I played in which your choices matter a lot, they are mentioned through the story and some of them lead to different side and main story endings as well. For the amount of adult themed games on Steam this is actually a very good one. Also, btw, it has an uncensor patch if you want to see all the good bits of which there are a lot here :).

Pros

+ Real romance adult game with a sex minigame for each partner.
+ Many romance partners (at least 7) which are interesting, well done and sexy including a witch, latino girls. threesomes and more. They each have severel romance sequnces, not including the group ones which are sepparate and reward your patience in exploring the story :) to every angle.
+ Interesting and very well done story in the sense that it has many side stories that you unlock through different choices in different playthroughs. Also endearing.
+ Many choices have an effect and get mentioned in the next chapters and some of them determine the main story resolution as well as some side romance resolutions.
+Good colors, good graphics, partners are sexy.

Cons

- There is no save option. The game however autosaves on every chapter start and if you want to go for the achievements you can just reload the chapter.
- As with most VNs I found on Steam, there is no sound, except for the you know what bits :). It didn't really annoy me but if you want to play it, expect to read everything.

Conclusion

A good adult sexy and story game. Definitely buy if you find discounted.

Extra Notes

~ First of all this game is a lot more than first meets the eye. It's a very rich game with a lot of story content, extra branches and consequences if you like to find out everything and will have you playing quite a few times times through it.
~When I first saw the game I though based on the advertized images that there would be some gore or violence in the game relating to the clown. However, this is not the case, the game is completely safe and you can relax and play for the romances.
~The achievements are all possible but you will have to rewind the story and go through some new arcs. This game has a lot of Easter Eggs hidden under a simple line of dialogue including a lot of other romances and fun details.
~ There is an uncensor patch for the game if you look in the guides section. You also find achievement guides there if you are interested.
~ If you are dismayed by the detective story, don't worry, it's actually really maybe 10% of the story and the rest is you having romance fun. :)
~The game took me about 1 hour 20 minutes to complete on my first playthrough reading everything to do one of the endings. The rest of the time was me chasing all the missing story parts, romances and side endings of this game. It has a really nice charm to it. Oh and by the way if you get all the endings where your character is single and want the story to end with a relationship, keep trying. No spoilers, but the game does take your choices into account and loyalty is a thing-there are endings where the detective ends up with a partner. In case you get invested here, there are happy endings on all fronts :).
~ It took me around 10 playthroughs to get all the achievements. I really enjoyed them since every time I found something new. This game is very rich in story content and consequences.

A fun little mystery dating game to spend a couple hours. Getting all the achievements is pretty easy, and the writing is decent without huge typos or translation errors as well.

First--the game is intentionally terrible.
Stupid "hentai" game. I don't really think anyone bips their bop to this--but uh if you do don't be offended please~
It kinda has a....Newgrounds Dating Sim feeling to it. If you're into that try it out...but you'll finish the game pretty quick~

I realize there's no reason to assume this is a work of art - frisky is in the name - but it's just boring. Whatever you're playing this game for, it's not the story, and you'll just try to be hurrying along. There are some moments that shine, but they're few and far between,

I liked this game more than I thought I would. Some of the dialogue is laugh out loud funny, and other times I'm cringing in my chair wondering why that text is even an option. What I did NOT expect was to scream because of the clowns. I'll be the first to admit I'm a total scaredy cat but I was still not expecting to jump because of this game. I'm assuming it wasn't loud enough to freak out the neighbors since no cops were called.

Good game, going all the way for the case only is really enjoyable, i'd like a save option so that you can get all the trophies without restarting every time, but all in all a good game.

Low Budget VN that is highly selfaware of it's lower quality and makes constant jokes about itself and the target audience.
Interesting story that was somewhat up to date in 2017.
2019 they wanted to make a 2nd part, not sure if that one is still in the making or was canned.
Definetly one of the better low budget novels.. reminds a bit of Leasure Suit Larry comedy.
Multiple endings and achievements to cope with them.
Most characters are one dimensional though... but this is part of the humor.

8/10 in 5$ range. 7/10 for all novels I assume.
Worth picking up on a sale, also probably worth picking up for 5$.

Wow, this is short but does require a couple of playthroughs to unlock all the different endings.
There is "eye candy" moments but they are less frequent than I expected and if that's what your after, you might be disappointed, as there is no attempt at creating the sexy scene, they just reuse the background scene for what environment the characters are in and then place a floating naked female on the screen.
For that sort of stuff, there is better "games" out there.
So its really the mystery story and mainly the characters that carry this game.
For these sort of games, usually its a random dude getting "trained" or they inherited hotel of some such, or some kind of magical event etc. that causes all the sexual content.
So to ground this in a detective story, with yes still, rather too “eager females to meet” but aleast the main character wasn’t the usual nerd type but actually hooking up with this girls due to his magnetism or again, yes the typical dumb blondes was somewhat a refreshing change.
But as for the final review, this is a side thumb, if this sort of sexual content visual novel interests you, then this is worth checking out on sale.

Frisky Business is a visual novel mystery game, where a group of college girls ask for your help.

Story:

You play as Falco Frisk, who is a private investigator, whose business is not popular whatsoever. One day a group of college girls Jenny, Lucy, and Balbina hire you to investigate a dangerous clown that has been stalking them every so often and intends to do something bad to them.

The story is as crazy and stupid as I described it and honestly I find that it's charming for that reason and honestly I had a great time with the story. Considering this is a lewd type of game (not that incredibly lewd) I knew going into it that the game is going to be stupid, but I honestly loved the mystery aspect. The writing itself is often really funny because of the sexual undertones, but the story itself is rather dark at times often, maybe too much in certain moments.

Graphics:

The art style is really good, I loved the backgrounds and character designs. They're colorful and bright, albeit overly simplistic. Maybe the environments are a bit too simplistic, but they're not bad by any means, but it feels like they are incredibly barren.

Audio:

The music itself is the weakest part, most of it sounds way too generic and borders on royalty free tracks you can get for free. I feel like the tracks picked are decent enough, but overall nothing incredibly impressive.

Gameplay:

Frisky Business is a visual novel, so apart from reading you won't be doing much. If you played one before you can expect the same type of gameplay. Read, make a choice, read, make a choice. It does have some slight detective work you need to do to actually get the best ending possible which is great, but often then not these are incredibly simplistic, like listening to your brain instead of your penis type of thing.

You can romance the college girls and sometimes their romance options will lock you out of certain story moments involving the mystery which was a very cool little feature and adds a ton of replay value to see every ending.

Verdict:

Frisky Business was a pleasant surprise. I expected a very shallow visual novel where the sex was the only selling point, but found the story weirdly interesting where I wanted to keep going and seeing how the mystery wraps up. Again this is not for everyone considering the lewdness of it, but if you don't mind, give this one a read.

Final Rating:
7/10

Pros:
+ Weirdly engaging story
+ Actually asks you to do detective work
+ Art style is decent

Cons:
- Some writing is pretty bad
- Forgettable music
- Tonal shift of the story is pretty bizarre

So I'm a bit split on this. This is a game I really wish I could give it a neutral recommendation instead of Yes/No. The sounds were decent, the graphics also decent but not really that bad/good. The story was what actually kept me hooked. It has the usual weird adult story with a random killer clown thrown into the mix, so it balanced out in a comedic type of way. My biggest issues with the game is that there is absolutely no skip feature (not even for already seen text), which makes figuring out what to do a bit meh and the replay value drops considerably (although there's only three different endings anyway). The next would be the typos, which for a VN is a big deal. The writing itself wasn't that bad, though. Some of the characters were a bit too silly (mainly just Charlie and his "smelling" ability) and other characters just were not very consistent (mainly saw that with Balbina).

Overall, if you can get this game for very very cheap AND you don't mind no skip feature, I say go for it. There is an adult patch (which honestly would be better if it was an in-game option) as well, so if that sways you, just note that the "fun" scenes are much like old flash adult games.

Just generally low quality. The art's not very interesting or appealing, the story's lackluster, the dialog's poor, and none of the QoL features other VNs have are present. There are only three save slots for crying out loud.

If you want naughty pictures, there are plenty of better ways of seeing them.

Dang, for a title I got for 1.00 USD on sale, this game has some serious chops. You play as Detective Frisk, hence the title. The game can be sweet or spicy depending on your choices, and for what I thought would just be light, frothy fun, it does go from 0 to 10 real fast at a certain point.

They do show you most of the plot (at least what I got on my play through) in the trailer and images, so if it looks like your kind of game, totally give it a go.
