Goop Loop system requirements
Minimum:
- OS: Windows 7/8.1/10
- Processor: Definitely want one of those. Ideally with 2 cores or more.
- Memory: 2 GB RAM
- Graphics: Certainly help (Intel HD Graphics 4000, Geforce GTX series, or better should do ya)
- DirectX: Version 9.0c
- Storage: 60 MB available space
- Sound Card: Do you hear sounds? Then whatever you have is probably good enough.
- Additional Notes: If your machine can handle the atrocity of modern websites, it can probably handle this game.
Recommended:
- OS: Windows 7/8.1/10
- Processor: Something that Hz really bad. Like gigahurtz.
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Graphics: I recommend you just try it and refund if your potato can't run a 2D game.
- DirectX: Version 9.0c
- Storage: 200 MB available space
- Sound Card: Are you hearing things? Cool. You should be covered.
I love rage games. I dont usually rage at rage games.
And this game was really good until I got to one of the later sections - the bricks
While I did manage to complete the game, I've been stuck there for an hour without doing neither any progress nor falling back down which was very frustrating tbh. And even now, after completing the game, I still am unsure what am I supposed to do there, other than smashing all the buttons and praying to the rng gods.
What adds to the frustration is the fact that that end section has worse graphics than the previous parts, but it takes longer time to beat
So yes, this game did actually make me rage a bit. Thanks
An exercise for both the mind and the fingers. Quite the hand workout, actually ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

While I do worry about supporting the obvious enslavement of an innocent goop inside of an oppressive loop, the game was pretty fun, and I have hopes that as the game progresses we will be able to free the goop from its cylindrical prison. Maybe that's what this game is all about? A great escape!? Only one level right now, but excited to see where the game goes next!
Probably the game with the most character i have ever played. I also played the LD version which i found a bit hard to control, but this feels very good (have to test with a controller later). It's a bit short though, but that can be worked on i'm sure.
Sincerely, a long time lurker ;)
Fun game. Can be hard at first but you get good at it after a short while.
Looking forward to more content!
Just when you thought a goop couldn't get any better, you gone and put it in a LOOP!?
I gave up after 20 minutes of trying to get up the same hill, probably the most frustrating game ever made, or least the most frustrating I've ever played. Sorry, but didn't really enjoy it.
But I get that's the point of the game, so if you like frustrating repetitive games where at any moment you can lose lots of progress, then this is the game for you!
Fun game with a challenging movement system that becomes very satisfying as you begin to master it. Early challenges become so simple over time and new challenges appear insurmountable.
Plus it's being actively updated so coming back to find more challenges is great to see because you know the dev is invested in it!
sonic the hedgehog but i have one brain cell
Got stuck in the first crevice for 40 minutes.
Would goop again!
Difficult but very satisfying... also a bit disturbing. Lots of fun!
Great and frustration game! It is surely a way to waste some time if you like solving difficult problems. I really enjoy playing this to get my mind off of rough work days. Seems that after I play, I can think clearly!
Played this game on stream, it was fun for everyone... and torture for me. Really enjoyed it, thank you, Jits! You are awesome
Simple but really fun. There's definitely a knack to getting it right and seem some hilarious streams of people struggling as much as me on Twitch! For the price, it's so worth picking up
If you enjoy "Getting Over it" style rage games, for only 2 bucks, this game can't be beat. The mechanics are unique and there's some hidden cosmetic unlocks as well, which adds some depth and exploration.
Very Bennet Foddy like, it is weird at first but once you get a feel for it its fun and addictive =)
Physics platformers are notorious for being insanely hard.
This one's no exception. But it does have some quirky/clever vocal (English only) tutorial, that only really speaks up if and when you're having trouble. I was actually quite amused by how the game knew when to say "You should slow down", versus pretty much pre-emptively telling me I screwed up when I passed a point of no return.
It's like having the developer commentary from Half-Life (But more quirky/punny), the goopiness of Gish (With more freedom of movement), and the jankiness of, well, basically every physics platformer out there. My hand started hurting after about an hour, so I had to take a break, but I'll definitely be trying to finish it after I take a break.
It seems like every time you think you get where they're going with the game, something very unexpected happens, and you get to learn to overcome a totally new obstacle. That's pretty rad.
i played for 30 minutes and im having a lot of fun trying to get the buckets (whalearmy)
The idea is pretty unique and it is executed wonderfully. The physics make the game a great mix of difficulty and fun.
Yeah pretty good.
I got it after the creator joined one of my streams and promoted it. Took me six hours and multiple game updates to finally beat it. As of writing this review, I managed to beat it in 17 minutes.
Honestly, I love it! The game is intentionally frustrating with a tough mechanic that makes it easy to mess up and lose practice, but it isn't ham-handed with it; the repetition actually helps you climb the skill curve for tougher challenges. I've busted out laughing multiple times from the voice lines, and I come back every once in a while to try to tackle the next challenge. In my opinion, well worth the experience for the small cost.
The narration is probably the largest selling point for this product. Even though I'm absolutely awful at this game and now am currently stuck at the loop part. Yes I said that right... you have to roll your loop around a loop. Do you know how hard that is in a physics based loop game? Yeah after 40+ fails and Jitspoe goes "42 is the answer to life, so I guess that is the amount of tries it takes to get around this loop."
Rating: X-treme out of Trolls, would recommend.
If you love a little humor with your real challenges, then this is the game for you! Whether you're trying to beat the physics, or the dev/commentator's retorts, you're guaranteed to have a fun and/or frustrating time! What are you waiting for, get rollin'!
Goop Loop is a very fun Physics based game.
At times a little frustrating but once you get in a groove is immensely entertaining, my first play of the game took 2 hours and 45 minutes.
It has getting over it vibes with pits and gaps to make you fall back down to previous areas but the challenges them self are not overly difficult and are fun to overcome in different ways.
I highly recommend it for its price, I have replayed it a second time just to hear some voice lines I missed during my first play through.
Super frustrating, also really feels good when you get past obstacles that you couldn't work out how to do earlier.
This is hard. I'm not even able to beat the first level! I can respect a game that doesn't babysit the player to the end, and actually has a big risk of failure. Fair price for the hours I tried.
I play Getting Over It to calm down after playing this.
I lol'd. And lol'd some more. Even my hot pink goop lolled from its loop.
I hate this game and look forward to more of its puns, dad jokes, and delightfully awkward sound effects. At least once I stop lolling around and plug in a controller. (The keyboard controls are actually pretty darn tight, but I suspect thumbstick control is where it's at if you're a casual ragequitter like myself.)
Update: Nope, turns out I'm just rubbish at the game! Thumbsticks are also restricted to 8-direction control to even the playing field.
If you like to casually torture yourself while trying to beat nearly impossible physics challenges, this game is for you. Great developer, great game! Now I just need more time to learn the controls. Also, why the hell is that goop in the loop? There is no explanation. I NEED TO KNOW!?11

Very Goopy. Very Loopy.
Very fun and challenging game that can seem pretty simple but has a lot of room for mastery.
During the frustrating first play-through of this game I was convinced that it was not a game where you would eventually be able to consistently get past obstacles but I immediately proved myself wrong in the second run. Don't get me wrong it is still hard but it is definitely a lot more manageable. I definitely recommend it if you like foddian games and if you aren't afraid of a challenge.
Worst fucking game ive ever played!
CAN YOU STOP DOING THAT
10/10
I like to torture myself with foddian games, so this is a must have for my collection.
Do you enjoy pain! Do you want to live child hood memories of sadness?!? This is rage game for you!!!!
Seriously though, it's cheeeky and clever. If your enjoy breaking controllers and keyboards, then get your wallet ready.
Neat though short but well priced foddian game, that's really short (~2 hours first play)
The physics aren't accurate (because then the game would probably be impossible,) and there are numerous odd kinks to the game. This is fine though, you'll just with a bit of time intuitionally understand it
My bigger issue aside from the short length, are that this seems designed to be more a rage game - with the mechanic that you can't do too many actions too fast. Why does this exist? To annoy you.
But hey, a unique, enjoyable foddian game for a good price.
