Frequent crashes and errors. Its hilarious too, because pirated versions of this game do not crash. At all. Neither do any other games on this machine. Making me remember why i *used* to pirate video games exclusively. Perhaps that should become a thing again. Better than wasting $60+ on years-old essentially unplayable garbage
The online for this game is complete and utter dog shit, mods are the only way to fucking play apparently, fuck this game fuck this game fuck this game.
She came from far away, flying in to Los Santos International late one night. It wasn't what she was running away from that mattered anymore. The past was past. It was the opportunities in her future she cared about. As her plane flew over, she looked out at the city, thinking of the possibilities that awaited her there.
Grand Theft Auto Online is full of possibilities. My character has engaged in some run-of-the-mill criminal activities, holding up stores and getting into shootouts. But this isn't what excites her about Los Santos. No, what she loves are the opportunities to race helicopters over the mansions in the Vinewood Hills, to get into tank battles near the forests of Great Chaparral, to dogfight in fighter planes over Fort Zancudo. For a while, she fell in with a mysterious criminal wearing a pig mask, and they committed crimes together and played golf and tennis together like a modern-day, fitness-oriented Bonnie and Clyde
The sheer variety of things to do with and against other players in Grand Theft Auto Online's open world is its greatest asset. No individual element measures up to more focused games. As a multiplayer racing game, it's no Forza or Burnout. As an online shooter, it's not as exciting as the multiplayer in The Last of Us. Its sports offerings aren't going to compete with Tiger Woods or Top Spin. But none of those games let you do more than a fraction of the things GTA Online lets you do, and GTA Online does the things it does well enough for them to be really enjoyable. When you're hopping along from one exciting activity to the next, GTA Online is exhilarating.
I've found myself more invested in the stylish, enigmatic character I created than I ever was in Michael or Franklin or Trevor.
Unfortunately, sometimes the world behaves in ways that put a stop to your fun. GTA Online's stability has improved considerably since it first launched, but in that time, many players have lost characters and properties they've purchased, which is no minor setback. Low-level characters don't have access to most of GTA Online's best content. Early on, your mission options are dominated by bland last team standing deathmatches. GTA Online doesn't put its best foot forward right away, which is unfortunate even for new players, but it's doubly unfortunate to have to rise through the ranks a second time. Losing property is also a tremendous setback, given that it takes a lot of time to earn enough cash for the nicer homes in the game.
Then there are a host of smaller but still significant issues. Matches sometimes fail to start, leaving you stranded in lobbies. Races sometimes hitch up, and competitors sometimes warp around the environment. You might be cruising along minding your own business only to get a message informing you that you've been kicked from the game by other players, and when you return, even though you didn't do anything wrong, you're warned that if you keep behaving like this, you'll be designated a bad sport and be forced to play with all the other jerks.
Rockstar is giving everyone who has played GTA Online up to this point half a million in online cash, a nice gesture, but there's no replacing lost characters you might have grown attached to. GTA Online doesn't attempt to create a tightly woven narrative around your character's exploits. Instead, it provides a very loose-fitting structure in which your silent character occasionally comes into contact with the likes of Lester, Trevor and other characters from the single-player game. As my imagination has filled in the gaps, I've found myself more invested in the stylish, enigmatic character I created than I ever was in Michael or Franklin or Trevor.
As other players approach you, you might feel a knot of anticipation in your stomach as you wonder if they'll ignore you and go about their business, or risk their lives in an attempt to kill you and take some of the cash you're carrying.
The world is identical to that of the single-player game, but with all the outlandish activities you constantly get up to, it feels pleasantly disconnected from the Los Santos of GTAV. This is a Grand Theft Auto fever dream in which no narrative justification is needed before you're parachuting off of a skyscraper or hopping into a jet to pursue opposing players speeding down the freeway in sports cars. GTA Online largely does away with story to make room for gleeful chaos.
At least, the chaos is usually gleeful. Sometimes other players in the open world can go out of their way to be jerks and keep attacking you, but you can enable passive mode for a paltry $100 which makes it so that you can't shoot or be shot, and the fact that activities are instanced means that you won't find your golf game interrupted by joyriders mowing you down in a sports car. When you're not doing an activity, there's typically an exciting element of danger as you traverse the open world. As other players approach you, you might feel a knot of anticipation in your stomach as you wonder if they'll ignore you and go about their business, or risk their lives in an attempt to kill you and take some of the cash you're carrying. Smart players bank their cash frequently to avoid significant losses, and although the game advises you to go to the nearest ATM, you can actually do this quickly from anywhere just by using the internet on your phone, which almost makes the entire distinction between cash and money in the bank pointless.

If you have somehow gone nearly 10 years without owning and playing this game, nothing can convince you to get it at this point. I'm fully convinced that you are just hell-bent to defy the odds and meet your eternal rest without ever having the slightest sliver of Trevor drunkenly yelling expletives at random passerbys while in his tighty-whities.
Wait, what is it that you say? That's all that you needed to know about this game and now you're going to buy it just because of that? Glad I could open the world to you. Go get 'em, champ.
One of the Best GTA games there is and the story is amazing and 30+ hours long. You will definitely have fun playing the story. The GTA online aspect is really fun as well to play with friends. Must try recommended !!!
Mike, Franklin and Trevor FTW !!!
Fun, but severely flawed. I'd give it a "meh" if I could.
Yes, I know, GTAV has been out for almost a decade now but it is simply astounding that in that time Rockstar hasn't figured out how to address the mind boggling quality of life issues in the game. I mean, they can delist their other GTA games for an inferior version, remove music, but fix what is clearly mismatched teams working with 0 communication with one another? Heaven forbid!
Here's a great example of Rockstar Logic:
Airplane: To go up, use 5 on the keyboard. To go fast, press W.
Copter: To go up, press W. To go fast, press 5 on the keyboard.
Swimming: To go up, press S on the keyboard. To go fast, press Shift.
Submarine: To go up, press Shift on the keyboard. To go fast, press W.
In nearly 10 years they couldn't unify the controls of the non-land vehicle modes of travel? In doing so they make missions that require using one of those vehicles a chore. Yes, I can adjust the controls. The point is why would I need to adjust them to match one scheme between *four*!?
On top of that the pacing in the game is just bad. They stripped out systems that have been in the GTA franchise for several iterations. OK. They introduce new systems which barely get used. For example, I am told on my first heist I can pick who I take, they improve every time I use them. Great! Later on I get introduced to more heist members to pick from. Awesome! ~20 hours of gameplay before the first and second heist. At that point, who cares if I can pick people and they improve!?
Finally, there's GTAO. Do you want to Pay 2 Win!? No? You can just make a solo instance! Where all the missions are tuned for 4 people!
Play once, power through the story, esp. when they introduce Trevor and force you through a slog of several missions with him before getting back to more interesting characters. But aside from that, it's a one and done with minimal fun.
If you have not heard of GTA 5 before this review, please message me. We can get through this together.
Yeah I guess it's a pretty fun game, I've played about 50 hours of the single player and over 610 hours of online, so... Yeah...
The game is great. The only problem I have is that even though my pc is fast, the game still lags alot.
In this game, I think that it has a lot of good qualities it is super fun and informational. But one thing this could do better is that when i try to go to GTA online i find that it says "Please complete starting mission in GTA V"
This has got me perplexed by it bringing me to the game just to bring me back to GTA online. Overall this game is easy, fun and helps people understand how to be a criminal, it gives you an inside look on how a rouge citizen would act if placed in these circumstances. I rate this a 9/10 as this game is a good stress reliever and makes me wonder how i would act if I was a criminal.
Online GTA V is completely filled with people who are using scripts and cheats.. ...they don't even let other legit players play peacefully. Developers seriously need to fix this shit completely!
Dear Rockstar games offical ,could you please update some something about changing key position ? I can't use the tool to cut the glass due to the key board position. My computer can't use the key board of page up ,which made me very annoyed.I even go to the Cayo perico island to make money. It is not fair for me .Besides,I think maybe you can provide some major targets for people to chose in Cayo perico island.
After all , I hope you will be fix up this bug as soon as possible.Thank you.
ALL IN ALL ,IT IS A GOOD GAME FOR EVERYONE .
i have this game in epic games from the time that was free and i really like it so i buy it on steam cuz why not=)
and i really want to have mods in this game!
Very fun game, endless amounts of things to do. You gotta be good at PVP to play in standard lobbies tho.
pissed me off with the amount of weird small technical oversights there were in this game, but overall very nice and good game
It's alright, but god damn it gets repetitive unless you don't invite friends to play with to just mess around or do fun game modes with.
dude its GTA V
The only thing i dont like about it is that rockstar keeps making new online stuff instead of focusing on GTA 6's development
A Game that emphasizes the free market and decadent lifestyle of the west (Painting your Bugatti Lime Green and using racial slurs with zero repercussion)
bought this game to play online with friends but all that happened was us getting shot down by a 12 y/o with a flying bike from the year 2500
The most toxic and pure bad player base in online history , i just can't have a normal day in this game without Kids spamkilling me , and say in chat the same words , THE same replica over and over , If that is not just Braindead i don't know what is . I swear and not the fact that i am not as ''skilled '' as them is the problem , is their pure evil wish to make you suffer , and i am not exaggerating , like they are literally bots created to make your day bad or make that empty space in your stomach when you are just angry and can't do anything . I mean ok i can change the session but it's just frustrating . So yeah it's just a very bad player-base , even when you speak rational with them they just spam insulting stuff , bad player-base
Stupid Rockstar Games Launcher!@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(great game btw, its just unplayable ONLY because the launcher doesnt want to launch GTA 5 anymore)
Thanks for selling me a game with no activation code. Sweet how you say this game works on Steam Deck. But it doesn't. Because I bought a game and you wouldn't give me an activation code.
requires good internet but YES. very good game amazing. this game is the only game where you can do almost anything.
grand steal car man the 5th Tis th3 Best grapph!cs gud Frank & Mike L & Ttrever funnty men you shoot gun ta kick butt 4 bad guy but u bed GTA gea,m like f0Rtnite 0 builddds mode shootgunfun 10/10 -IGN sussy baka
Please help me i cant open it after it connect to Rock star gaming services it goes to the loading thing and then closes itself please help me.
It has it's issues. R* would rather spend time making money than making the game worth smoothly. Large rooms are plagued by griefers with god mode...
But, if you have a moderate sized room w.o hackers and some friends, this game is still so much fun.
Super awesome game. It is the closest thing your going to get to real life, you can really get lost in this game and forget your troubles. I have completed the Campaign multiple times, I have played Online mode, amd done many heists. But the best way to play this game...is modding. Complete the Campaign and just install a ton of mods to customize the game to your liking. Online kinda sucks honestly. Just mod.
Multiplayer isn't fun but story mode can be an incredible experience with mods, including FiveM, I recommend this game.
Fun just don't give into the sharkcards and don't play normal online with random people that is not a fun time
no need for therapist this is therapist
very entertaining game for open world players
fucking game never fuicking loads i always have to restart it i fucking hate this game it shopuld kill itself
i really love that game so much
I only play this game when my life is in shambles
i love the game is pro gta+gta=
SO GOOD GAME YOU CAN DOWNLOAD MODS AND GTA V HAS REAL GRAPHICS
So basically let's jump forward to the GTA ONLINE instead. The story mode is completely plotless, rob that rob this, heist this heist that, kill this kill that...
Alright, this game been released for almost 7 years on PC, the company doesn't seem to care about the cheaters in-game. Cheaters ability is getting stronger day by day like mutation of a virus xD
Mail blasting you for cheat menu promotions... Spam chinese fonts in the lobby [Even I'm a chinese too], If you ever play in the asia server. God you wouldn't believe this, don't ever put your name as john, jack whatever. If that chinese mf is a racist guy, he will instantly pop infront of you either grief u with his mod menu or put you to sleep :) [Shut down your game]
So anyone who read this , I suggest you should buy other games to play. With this game price you can afford two fun games instead of this. For parents/cousins/friends/lovers who wanted to buy this game as a gift... don't. There's better option than this trashcan :)
Thank you for inspiring me to start my own criminal empire.
One of the best games I have ever played, endless missions and jobs, interesting heists etc. Highly recommend buying this game!
NICE GAME I ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH
as a GTA fan this game was amazing like im playing since the start but i did not had the online experience but now that i have there is many problems that rockstar must fix like cheaters.bugs. character freezing in heists and the loading screens that take so long like 30 min even 1 hour but its a fun game anyway i like it but as i said it has some problem
Very fun game if you are a masochist
you cant play more than a minute before running into this games myriad of game bugs. good luck trying to get anything done when every lobby has a modder. dont waste your time in this game WoW is better in every way and even tho its older it is way higher in quality than this game will ever be.
good game but can get boring quick when you have no money, money is a pain to get and sometimes you come across modders so yeah thats a things -.- but all in all its not a bad game just wish they deflated the prices for stuff abit and actually had a working anti cheat
Bagus banget sih apalagi grafiknya HD
eh buy or bad breaking come your house
This game is a complete let down from GTA San Andreas, the story is boring, the car mechanics are shit, you have to drive the car to extremely long distance to do minute stuff, there are mission choices which is wierd, there is a skip option in case if you are stuck which makes the game boring, most of the game is really simple, there is no interaction with other people, you can't eat or go to gym, there are no gangs that you can control, San Andreas is a masterpiece but this one is just one time play only.
its a good game but i dont know why i didnt receive my starter pack
I've had GTA on every console so yeah
Fun game with friends to play and yea
modders are cancers who can't play fair... f-ing kids wishing you all a good life..
One of the best games ever made and will always be the game that made me want to game. The game makes a lot of insanely hilarious and not serious comments on society and that is my favourite part. There is so much freedom in this game. Just play it.
this game is ass but i have 2000 hours on ps4 please help
story mode is well story mode everyone knows it and i usually play online there are some maybe bugs like when i walk into my arcade it locks my camera outside on the loading mode but good
it is for 18 year old but if ur mature u could handel it
fucking great game, currently grinding up my online character's stats.
gta 5 is very fun and has very good graphics and a good story mode
Its fun but everytime i want go into a new sess their is an error
So much content online and offline there are nearly as many possibilities as in real life, you wanna have a normal job driving a taxi? you can do that. wanna rob a liquor store? you can do that. wanna be some mute tiny blond man that kills cats , kicks puppies and shoots deer while engulfing the land in hellfire? then have fun go for it! (this game does get some pretty step discounts every now and then so if the price is too much (which its not, trust me) then just wait till the summer sale or something!
Well made game. They don't do much at all for Modders (hackers). But you can just find another server.
one of the best games out thre
You dont get unbanned even if you get banned for something you didnt do.
wastte of monney down loaded and it stop playyy
the game is pretty fun you can not get bored
it's like buying surf n turf AKA a $30 turd.
gta what can you say , awesome
Cars go boom , drug lord gets mad, rob alot, flow of cash
This is like baking cake you yell at random people for killing you online but you made a cake so idk where i was going with this
Nice Game Mostly Iam using for roleplay
I think i got perma banned in 12 hours of playing by mistake but heyyyyyyy, i still love the game
verry cool game but i dont like players can kill you in online and explode your vehicule
well tbf i have 700hrs on steam gta alone, including ps3, xbox 360, xbox 1, rockstar games gta and steam gta i probs have like over 10k hours. but yeah this is like the greatest game oat excluding all the shittiness in it, the good in it makes up for the asswipeness...
its fun and its like real life
bagus juga ni game ni, siuk juga, tapi tu la, susah ba mo heist. lepas tu balik2 kami mati, cuba buat yang sanang sikit ba rockstar. lepas tu dapat duit pun sikit, cuba la buat yang banyak sikit tu duit ko dapat. apa2 pun memang bagus la ni game, 5/5
Ever since I saw the first gameplay trailer of this game when I was having my first playthrough of San Andreas back in 2013, I knew I had to play it. Now that I have, all I can say it was worth the damn wait. Fine story and great overall game considering other open world type games sometimes lack a bit too much of one aspect which kinda ruins the experience. Others may have good shooting, but the driving absolutely sucks or the story is just a joke. It's not a perfect game but I consider to be one of the best I have ever played. Also, this a very nice port considering the pc version of GTA 4 was not so good on the performance side.
was fine but then all of a sudden every time i load up it crashes straight away whenever you hear the policesirens when loading up
i only play online on console, but singleplayer is good
flying gay broomstick make the game unfun
I stole lester's wheel chair :)
I´m a Rockstar games fan. I played this game in PS3 and now that i change to PC in my opinion, still being the amazing masterpiece... but in 60 FPS
good game but a little buggy 9.8/10
In my opinion GTA V is the most comprehensive Life simulator sandbox.
Story is still good as relevant today as it was in 2013 when the game was first launched.
The game comes together really nice from story , to graphics , mechanics , voice acting and all the little details.
You can just spend time walking around the city and you will be entertained, something will happen.
Online also came a long way ,plenty to do , death matches, races, heists, plenty of jobs missions and whatever you want.
It may be my computer but the waiting time is not as long as it used to when starting the game or going into sessions, or missions.
The big deal breaker for me is that there is a lot of griefing, you can't do anything in free mode without anyone blowing you to pieces. OR even "better" modders who make the game unplayable.
10/10 looking for another session
do not go to the shoe icon highlighted on the map, it is not a shoe store..
even tho its about killing and sex there are some educational redeeming qualities about the game which i enjoy and i recommend
its good but its hard for starters, like for me i used to play on playstation and i just wasted money on shark cards to get money and buy stuff. I didnt think on what to spend it on, i just spent it on the stuff i thought looked cool. butt now since ive played the game for 2+ years i understand on how to get money, and with tutorials also helps.
So I suggest this game for players that like to start from scratch.
I would not buy this game if you dont like starting from $10k.
ADIOS!
they finally ban for cheat engine
nema nikva logika v online-a 2 chasa se spawnvat edni i su6ti koli osven tova mn grindene za ednoto ni6to pulen ta6ak osven ako ne e storymode tam staa
Literally the best game to ever exist. gta 6 lets go
nice game if your patient, lots of modders, beware
