I want to say I would recommend this game, but in it's current state I cannot. The state it is in is it's final state. The game seems to be abandoned. They do not reply to the bugs forum anymore and the bugs are just stacking up. Why they abandoned this game I cannot say but they did. It is fun to play for sure, if you just do not mind the bugs. I am disappointed that they abandoned it without finishing the product. If they would just fix all the bugs that are being reported on in the bug forum it would be an amazing game.

Not horrible, but it quickly gets repetitive and boring.

Oh and they put cancerous YouTubers in this game as characters. Fucking Pewdiepie is in this game. For that alone I should get a refund.

I like it, but man is this game slow. Like crazy slow. I get the that it takes time to collect what you need and explore, but let's pick up the pace here. Then when you die, you have to start all over again. Despite that, I still give it a thumbs up. Definitely one i'll come back to, but need a break...

Famous mini-game from ArmorGames migrated to Steam. Hardcore and boring. After some unlucky tries, nothing more holds me in this game.

Great Strategy/Exploration Game with 2 modes to choose from. In the beginning it can be a little boring but otherwise a great way to pass time. If you perfer strategy games andGames of the like, I reccomend this to you.

A game that was great when it came out but it was never finished. I sunk many hours into this game on Armor Games and bought it with the hopes it would be improved but alas is is a half baked game that had so much potential but the developers decided to shelve it and move on to Infectionator 3 and leave this potential gem in the garbage can.

Alright. It's a decent game, replayable, enjoyable, and has a great soundtrack.
However.. It's a bit slow on exploring locations, and can be unforgiving if you play too slow, or too fast.
A few minor issues such as the Tired mechanic being more annoying than hindering.

Overall, I recommend it 8/10

Got it for $1 so can't really complain. The game is interesting but very repetitive. It tires to oversimplify combat by favoring movement but the AI is really dumb. They often get separated, if they have different speeds they can't stick together, when you rescue a new character they run around like wild chickens. The camera isn't that great either, specially if you try to send them to different places you can literally cause scenarios where they're all out of screen. But hey, for $1, it's fine...

The combination of permadeath and chance elements hurts this game a lot. You can fuck up and have your team wiped very quickly, which is made more likely by the random level generation and the chance that sometimes all your characters will just miss their shots. This means a lot of your progress can be erased very suddenly and not always because of any explicit mistake on your part. Obviously, there are people who will enjoy the permadeath aspect and how it raises the stakes in play, but I'm not one of them and I'm willing to bargain that many others aren't either. It's very hard, and if you want to properly enjoy it you'll have to first sink a large number of hours into repetitive failed attempts at play to learn how to do everything perfectly - I don't find this repetition interesting or stimulating.
This is a real shame, because the basic tactical gameplay is quite good fun. I don't see any reason why I can't enjoy it in a more forgiving way that doesn't force me to keep restarting. Players could do the campaign once or twice with level retries turned on, and then after be able to toggle on permadeath if they want more of a challenge. As it stands, though, you would have to pour twenty-thirty hours in at least before you'd understand the game well enough to have a successful run, and I don't think the game's really good enough to warrant that kind of investment.
If you're the kind of person that enjoys very unforgiving challenge and the sense of success in overcoming them, then maybe this game will appeal to you - although the random chance elements may prove a source of frustration even to such people. For most people, however, I would expect that the slow, repetitive initial steps and constant resets will cause you to lose interest long before the game truly demonstrates what it has to offer.

Amazing concept for a game, however your characters die pretty easily and it saps a lot of the fun out of the game when the girl you've been leveling up for 4 hours dies because 3 bosses instakill her and your other characters can't rev her in time. I had about 3 runs end this way, and another end because of a random event killing my main and it completely killed the experience for me.

I don't think that this style of game is suited to a permadeath system, mainly because of all the time you have to put into each run. Permadeath only works if you can get right back into it without having to put a bunch of time into making food and stuff.

The building mechanic is interesting but it lacks depth and is completely luck based (in relation to the materials, you can't make a wood farm for example, you have to loot boxes and hope for the things that you need. Which is fine for the atmosphere I guess but I feel like if I could walk out and get a piece of wood irl it should be pretty easy ingame).

Every time you start a run you have to sit through a 3 minute tutorial. Every. Single. Time. Even if you turn off tutorials that crippled fuck will tell you every single game mechanic every time. I understand how to build things and the concept of food. Please remove the text walls.

This game is nothing like any of the other infectonators that you play on the internet. Its incredibly difficult and i have played this game for 4 hours and still have zero idea on how your meant to play the game. i've done the tutorial several times and still don't know how to play the game enough to progress.

I'd recommend this game on sale, I wouldn't grab it at full price.

I did enjoy this game, but realistically you'll maybe do one or two playthroughs before you're done with it. Once you have an idea of what to do there isn't really a challenge in the game. There's also the fact that you're punished for saving all the survivors since there's not enough jobs for them all to do so all they end up doing is draining resources which are fairly easy to get.

All that aside, I really did enjoy my first two playthroughs of the game and only continued after that because of how grindy the achievements were. There's a bunch of different survivors, including some familiar faces. The art is well done, and the game has plenty of references in characters, weapons, or locations.

Pokemon Sapphire

Permadeath is the real killer for this game.
A bad event for a group of zombies or a boss turning a corner and the characters you spent hours on the current run on are dead and you have to restart all over again and grind.
I loved the infectonator series since kongregate and survivors is great but permdeath feels out of place here and hurts this game big time.

THIS IS UNPLAYABLE RUBBISH

The basis of the game is search and scavenge rogue-lite random locations mixed with tower defence waves. unfortunately you die far too quickly. there is no difficulty level and there is no way other than sheer luck to juggle the requirements of exploration to find the items you need and the sub missions back as base where you have to grow food or catch animals to provide food as well as craft items, fix a car that needs items you dont have and cant find. Honestly, why not just steal a car on one of the garage forecourts on the map? Because RNG dungeons and overpowered swarms of enemies thats why!

There is no visible attempt by the devs to even make this playable. this sort of thing might have been cute 15 years ago on Kongregate, but if this is the best Toge can do in this day and age, maybe they need to rethink the quality of their offerings. not every flash game is meant to be a stand alone game in 2020. Not recommended even if its free.

Full disclosure. I got this dirt cheap on a huge sale just because it had "Infectonator" in its title. Well, the game is a bit lame. Looks and plays like a mobile game; there are lots of better zombie, survival, TD, and/or turn-based games out there.

I ended up playing the original Infectonator flash game the whole evening instead. Hell, it's free, too, and still fun in 2020. I feel somewhat cheated by the company reusing that game's title and benefiting on my nostalgia feelings.

Though a rogue-like is not my favourite type of game, I enjoy this. There is a delicate balance between the randomly generated levels and events, and crafting at home. You can choose the lesser of two evils in important life-or-death choices. The battles are in real-time, but I don't feel rushed. There is a level of tact that keeps the game fresh. A large list of items to find and collect, including armor and weapons, makes for an interesting and wondrous exploration. Scouting in waves can be dangerous but ultimately rewarding. When I first wiped, it was on such a scouting level. I was not prepared for the acid zombies, and I wasn't sure how to make turrets either. But overall, I don't feel sour about the loss. It was a learning experience, and I take it in stride. Level-up system ensures you have control over how your characters progress, though some stats are more vital than others (Aim, for instance. Make those bullets count). Can't wait to play with the Left 4 Dead crew!

Ruining your Nostalgia

Remember the great days of playing games on Kongregate?
So did I, now I just loathe the fact that I spent hours, building memories of companies like ArmoredGames, Newgrounds, Albinoblacksheep, coolmathgames, and Herointeractive. Just to realize, I was a stupid fucking, easily pleased, child, whom above other things; Didn't know what good game design is.

TFW: Bad game design

Okay hear me out, ever play a game with a seemingly unobtainable goal without an unlimited amount of free time? Cool cool, you know how that' usually something held for MMO's so that the idea is you'll just naturally eventually get t hem?
YEAH WELL THIS GAME ISN'T FUCKING MULTIPLAYER OR AN MMO
SO WHY ARE 90 PERCENT OF THE ACHIEVEMENTS YOU GET FOR FARMING THE FIRST LEVEL OVER AND OVER FOREVER?
It doesn't even end there, in true roguelike fashion, levels are randomly generated and so are events. You know what is absolutely the most uncool thing you can do in a roguelike? Capitalistic luck based systems. Remember how Dark Souls 2 had an equipment you could get if you beat the game without dying? But you could get invaded by a hacker, and insta-killed? Okay imagine that, but that's just a function of the game. You can just randomly die, It's very rare, but it happens sometimes. You could be in an area that you've cleared of all zombie life, and just trying to shop. Roll that dice baby, not born lucky? TOO FUCKING BAD YOU DIED RUN OVER, TRY AGAIN.
Actual fucking cancer.

Speaking of cancer

My buddy is dealing with his third battle, and according to all reports, this game is harder to deal with than ACTUAL FUCKING CANCER.
Great a game from Indonesia, I like that, in that this game is poorly translated and fun to read. It's not fun to have to look at Pewdiepies fucking nasty image, I wonder what the developers think of him being in their game now that he's like a piece of shit?
Pewdiepie? More like Pewdie-Pipeline! Amirite? yes.

I'm glad Greenlight is Dead

No but for real, I used to think that it was cool to allow indie developers time to make games and get voted on by steam. Now Among Us, and this game have taught me valuable lessons.

    • Representation by jury is flawed
    • If you need approval for a product, you probably have your own doubts, and need to work on your product

If you want to play a good zombie game with 4 people, play Left 4 Dead, or Back 4 Blood.
If you want a good zombie plague game, play Plague Inc.
If you want a good strategy game, play Chroma Squad.
If you want a good team based zombie survival strategy game with isometric view, IDK MAN FUCKING STOP BEING SO GOD DAMN PICKY.

On the Bright Side

On the bright side the music is fucking awesome, and is really the only reason I was able to stomach getting all the achievements. And the gameplay (outside of the luckbased system) Is interesting, challenging, and pretty fun...
However I don't think those 2 aspects are enough to save a game that asks so god damn much from you.

TL;DR

This game offers a lot, but only for a specific group of people, try it, but don't expect much.

nonio90

A lot of is just painful repetition that seems to be there just to pad the play time. There wasn't any real indication of how to progress, just randomly wandering the map hoping to find something "relevant" . Also, full of bugs that would just add on to the frustration. It seemed like the dialogue was machine translated at some point. Also, I like the soundtrack but it sounds suspiciously familiar ... I'll leave it at that.
I'm pretty sure this is an incomplete game based on other reviews and also that's at a discounted price now but I still can't recommend this. It feels like you're paying with the time you could've spent doing something else.

BumLemon

Ignore the bad reviews its really well done (graphics are "snazzy") and its a classic. Think I beat it all in under two days, however, that's because it was so enjoyable i sat and played it for 41 hours straight, no jokes (i was young don't judge). Plus it has pretty great reply value if your into that jazz (different outcomes and such), and it helps its a classic flash series, adds that nostalgia bonus.

This kind of randomized survive game is my dish, explore, survive, win.

This is not that hard and stupid as those careless tarded saying, like how bad RNG is, dare they choose to gamble, why blame RNG.

You will try a few times and find the rules inside it then you can make game process farther.

And finish campaign is not that hard, no need to fight bosses, not need to explore very far, just finish all the main quests and fix car, then travel with 5 fuel, then done. Just not gamble.

Here I can give some suggestions from my playing. But skip them if you want explore an unknown game.

DON'T

Don't explore an unknown block before scouting it, unless you are confident enough to kill a bunch of zombies without death.

Don't invite people to HQ, they will arrived injured and may kill your people and harm you resources(I never got a good result by doing that), so always let them stay there and go to rescue them.

Don't go to alley when you encounter zombies, unless you want to gamble your people won't die, always stay and fight, it's usually not hard and can gather resources at the same time.

Don't explore when you don't have enough supply to go back HQ, this always let bad things happen.

Don't continue when the random events imply there may be danger ahead which triggered when you reach a new block.

Don't spend pass points on extra weapon/supply/etc, they don't not worth that, I suggest survivors and longer days if you do want to complete campaign.

DO

Do tutorial if you are not confident, it gave extra ammo and support.

Do explore outer circle of a new block first unless you need to rescue a survivor. Outer circle will give you over 50% of exploration progress and give you a sense of if this region is dangerous for you

Do let your main fighters rest before night exploration(need unssign their job first and they will sleep), or they will be tired and move slowly.

Do skip the wave to get extra ammo.

TIPS

Guitar zombies can crowd control your team, it is extremely dangerous, kill it in a distance.

To revive a people, 5s is needed except special skills.

People can't move and reload unless they have special skills, so always keep an eye on remaining ammo.

The most powerful skill I think is move and reload(police and SWAT).

No need to unlock other teams if you have limited points, default team is strong enough and versatile.

Merchant has 2 guards with unlimited ammo Ak47, they can help you with zombies.

Merchant's goods will refresh after you complete his quest and reenter the block.

Melee fighters help to maintain ammo, and when you have to kite zombies

Get enough survivors first, because doing works take lots of time and you got lots of stuff to do.

Shotgun is bad except on survivors who can move and reload.

Use shortcut more and play it like a moba.

After 6am, outside is dangerous

I played the original Flash game to death. Actual, Flash death!

So I bought the Steam game thinking it was a chance to pay the developers for my hours of fun, and buy and play the final version. But the Steam game is much worse than the Flash game. Now there's Gardening and Cooking (yawn). You have to collect 17million different things to build something. Whatever happened to 2 wood, 1 metal? Night falls, but everyone is inexplicably tired from gardening when it's time for some zombie killing.

The 'explore' game is really really dull. Just wandering around in order to cover 75% of the map. The permadeath is a pain. How about making permadeath an option on hardcore difficulty?

On the Flash game the players would only say important things like ouch, reloading, out of bullets, etc. Now they say "stay frosty" and nonsense like that. It's distracting and makes it very easy to miss when they say something important.

But ultimately this is abandonware. The game's not going to change. There are more fun games out there. Stay frosty, people

Balrock

Honestly I really wanted to like this game because I have been a fan of the flash game series. This game is too repetitive and exploring areas is painfully slow. That moment when I realised that I needed to explore 75 percent of an area at a really slow pace only to realise that I need to do that 4 more times and have an encounter that is just annoying almost every time I move to another square on the map. I really can't recommend this game to other people. spend your money somewhere else.

Not Greg

I want to love this game, but there are too many clunky mechanics to make it enjoyabe. The gameplay gets repetitive quickly, and the difficulty scales fast. I believe the devs abandoned the game after they made their $$$ on early access considering there are still dialogue boxes that pop up as "null".

It's a fun game, but not that rewarding.

C Wheezy
C Wheezy

bought it years ago and had a random thought about it while playing old games so i reinstalled it to see if anything that made this game a terrible clunky mess had ever been improved, sadly nothing has, i think the only content update or fixes it ever got was on the same patch back a couple months after release and im still convinced all they did was take out the pewdiepie campaign and add cooking. still like the series and dont hate the game just its something that you can only take in short bursts otherwise you break your keyboard

If someone knows how to contact with kerissakti or an email, i would like to know, i would like to bring mods or something to improve the game, i just like this game a lot and also i have some ideas like to try to put more days and more thing on the game if i can 🐼

Sarril
Sarril

Would recommend for absolute sure if:

-If it wasn't abandoned, I was really hoping it would get more updates.

-If there were more modes and/or settings. (like for an example, option to disable the time-limit... I hate time limits in many games, and in this one it really ruins many things. For an example, why spend time and resources upgrading anything in the base, if you will barely make use of it since you're being rushed this much?

-If some things weren't just as monotonous AF as they are.

-Flash version of this game in some aspects is much more fun than this. At the very least, they could add a mode that's just like the flash version of it, at least the mechanic/settings-wise but with the new features from this version.

-If it would get steam workshop, seriously, there are a lot of very talented people around, one can only imagine what would they make if such an option was easily available to them, to create mods to this game and let others use them with just one quick 'subscribe' button.

-The AI wasn't THAT stupid. Seriously, if you don't manually order your pawns on every possible moment, they will do dumb stuff like for an example, stand in the toxic goo and die even if there's a free completely safe space right next to them.

-If RNG didn't played THIS huge role in this. Seriously, in some runs you can get literally nothing and there's nothing you can do about it, while in some others you get everything easily. Each run takes time and a lot of manual control of all your pawns, would be nice if you didn't had to lose a run (or few), just because RNG didn't blessed you.

-Why is there an enemy that is quite fast, durable, and can perma-stun your entire squad? If permadeath wasn't a thing in this, it wouldn't be that much of an issue, but since there IS permadeath in this, suddenly losing because of one enemy that decided 'you know what? I'll stun your entire team and there's literally nothing you can do about it, enjoy game over', is not a very good design choice.

It's a really cool game, just needs some polish, some more love... love that I feel it's not going to get anymore, which is real shame.

Ron Misset

There are no guides nor any difficulty options you can either handle it or you can not and in my case I can not.

I have no idea where to focus on stats-wise and I didn't even know the whole weapon-changing stuff before I figured it out myself. The tutorial is severely lacking and there's no explanation in regards of what's the difference between exploring and scouting. Maybe i'm just a noob but the game seems to hard to comfortably play and with not enough explanation in regards of how to properly play it's kinda sad.

One of my favorite games that I have completed many times. Fun gameplay, collecting supplies and weapons, managing the base, planting crops, and fighting zombies with melee and ranged weapons. You fight with 4 people at a time, the rest of your people and a white dog stay at the base to cook/farm/build weapons/research the car improvements so you can get out of the city.

I wish there was more after finishing a game like getting to another level or another city.
Either update this game or make a part 2?

GoldenBear
GoldenBear

Gameplay is a little repetitive. Semi-randomly generated buildings with zombie spawn waves. Somewhat cookie cutter feeling.

Rogue-lite, so death means starting over which can be frustrating when the levels are kind samey. The point and click controls can lead to some dumb pathing too.

If you can pick this up for cheap, you may get some fun out of it. I'm not going to be playing this to completion.

The_Fuglysocks
The_Fuglysocks

After genuinely giving this game a few hours and "mastering" it, it's still a no from me. While I found myself having a bunch of fun after the "new game+" style unlocks, it was fairly short lived due to the tedious nature of many activities. Some of the design choices that are forced upon the player felt like they should have been optional, such as an instakill chance for a character that you can't avoid. Many of the "random events" will become extremely annoying after doing them a few times, causing a lot of dashboarding to try and roll a different outcome to save time, not because they're challenging. Additionally, the stamina mechanic is not novel and as could be expected, becomes a massive pain and does not force the player into being more "strategic" just adding to the tediousness.

While there are things worth playing for, I think they are outweighed by the absence of developer updates (including bugs), community mod support, and general game freedom. Fans of the original flash game might be better off leaving that as a good memory.

I find this game to be fun and almost a bit too easy once I got the hang of things. But there are a few issues I find with this game.
I incredibly despise the instant death that may randomly occur when wandering through the map (although I have enough experience to avoid every risk of dying by never letting my stamina reach zero). I also dislike it when I have scouted as much as I can but then when I explore in rescue areas I sometimes couldn't reach the survivor in time. I encounter at least one bug per hour, some are even game breaking where you'd have to create a new game because the quest giver doesn't actually give a quest (only have encountered this once, but I hope to never go through that again).
Other than that I think the game is decent and enjoyable.

I honestly can not with this game its so broken the concept is fun the gameplay is so GOD DAMN BAD, AI pathing is just so silly and every person i try to save dies before i can get to them like the random people die so fast if they don't spawn two feet from you it's so insane. This game looked so fun but if i knew it would play like this I honestly would not have bought it like WTH. I had two of my people randomly because my stamina was low how did two people die? They were alive last time i was on, I've given this game too many chances lol.

Repetitive in nature gets really boring the same grind every map you move to.The nail on the coffin that Really makes me mad is that- if you sneak or run back to base you lose all your supplies no matter what. Its a cool idea but its seems the game is made for mobile and ported to pc. The mobile games were cool but this game needs more effort.

Hate the full screen bugs, it keep jumping out from full screen!! In the end i decide to play it under not full screen mode. There is also bug on the map showing the color where is no longer there.

The guides is limited, there is so many things to do but so little time. You need to plant, cook, search, craft, built defense, walk, upgrade!! This broke the whole concept of playing game, its not fun at all!! And most of the thing you are unable to complete it, the time is not enough!!

Sorry, but I gotta refund it even it's 90% discount.

Overall Rating : 2 (1 = Worst, 5 = Best) *thanks to the music
• Graphic: 1.5 - better than pixel
• Control: 1.5 - slow and hard
• Music: 1.5 - better than midi, no time to enjoy, the game just has so many things todo
• Story: 1 - too many things need to do!!
• Entertaining: 2 - repetitive grinding, plant, built, kill, walk, search
• Kill time: 4 - waste of time
• Value: 1 - not for me, but for 90% off you still can keep it if you are rich, but i'm not going support

ww86

The game is basically a type of a 4X campaign game similar to X-COM, Jagged Alliance. There's a mini campaign, where you can do some resource and time management. You have a roster of units, which have some attributes, and they gain experience. There's a strategic map, where you move your units, and then there's a tactical phase. However, if you compare this to for an example Terror from the Deep by Microprose from 1995, then Infectonator has maybe 0.5% of the depth and content of X-COM TFTD. It's kind of like a mobile version, in that there's a limited interface and basically the game would be playable without a keyboard or a mouse, with a touch screen, in that it's that simple. The unit attribute system is fairly straightforward, but decent. There's a couple of different items for units to use, and the campaign stuff has a couple of things to research and build. So there's just no way to give this game a positive review. If it was a free game, maybe. So while I don't think this is necessarily a bad game, but given how much better stuff there is in the same genre for a lower price, then it's just not possible to like this or recommend this. It's a kind of a miniature that's reasonably well produced. The same stuff, but much less content. Miniaturized version of X-Com or Jagged alliance. So if you like those games, then you'll probably see that this is the same kind, but much simpler, much shorter, less content, and kind of dumber. But I kind of liked it for a while, and I got it from a discount, and it was almost worth it at the discounted rate. I mean I don't want to bash the game for nothing or the creators, there's some positive sides to it, but objectively if you do some kind of rational comparison, the classics from the genre are so much better. On other hand, I guess they're kind of expensive for gaming companies to do, so you don't have those games nowadays. I'm not sure what the point is. Like I'm giving it points because of the genre, but I have much higher expectations for stuff in this genre.

It's funny, I remember playing this game a while ago, getting rifles, and tearing through everything like butter. Booted it up today, had fun for a while, then surprise, character dead in a random event.
Probably won't be playing again, as I absolutely despise games that do that.

Fck your supplies, fck that you have 2500 rounds of ammo, fck that every single one of your survivors is packing automatics, fck that one of your guys has a first aid kit, and fk the body armor she was wearing - random event insta kill.

While I like the premise, feels like a more manual Rebuild in the Infectonators world, and I played a bunch of Infectonators as a flash game, I just didn't enjoy this one. The game has a tutorial, but it is bare bones, and leaves you ill equipped. If you use a hero for work during the day, they will get tired, but there is no way to check how much energy they have until they are tired, nor to say make sure they aren't tired when night comes. There doesn't seem to be much of a reason to scout an area, minimal resources, and if the enemies are too strong, they are just as strong scouting; but you have to explore to unlock access to new areas, so might as well just do that. If you run out of stamina, you still have to walk back to HQ, and every single tile can have an event that just kills a player, costing you their equipment. Heroes can gain exp just working in the hub, but it is so abysmally small it's not worth considering. Heros cap at level 5, but still have an exp bar that is misleading. And when you finally start to feel like you have enough stamina to explore, and get things done, and you have your footing(people will still die, but you can actually be semi productive), the game ends. Doesn't feel like there is enough to make it worthwhile.

Defo great value, hard to learn, easy to master. Plenty of replay value with unlockable special modes and different starting teams.

After playing through the campaign a few times and finally finishing the game, I regretfully have to say that I do not recommend this game.

I respect Toge Productions and the games that they both publish and develop. I wanted to like this game, and in all honesty, it is not as bad as you would think. Conceptually, it's a pretty casual and fun game. And honestly you will probably find more enjoyment out of this game than many others. For the first hour of the game I can honestly say I had fun.

However, this game is just one big tedious gameplay loop that is almost entirely dictated on RNG and luck more than skill. You group together survivors and constantly watch them fight, loot, and return to HQ to tend to the mundane tasks such as gathering food, crafting, cooking, and repairing a vehicle. Most of the environments that your survivors explore are more or less the same and are uninteresting after a couple of playthroughs.

Between moving through each environment, there will also be high chances of an Encounter, which are entirely dependent on luck. It is a huge pacebreaker and nearly every single encounter is the same. Your survivors are put into a small hallway and just fight off 3-8 waves of zombies with occasional loot occupying the area. It is a huge pacebreaker and rips you away from the immersion of actually making progress in the game.
Some encounters will just also completely kill off some of your survivors with no input from the player. The game will just do things because it says so. It kills the fun of the game and almost entirely takes away the aspect of skill.

Overall, I like the game in its pixel art style and its concept of a fun scavenge/survive based game, but it just ultimately falls short from lack of variety in the gameplay and the unrefined RNG system. At the very minimum, I would only recommend trying it out if you're that interested when it's on sale. Otherwise, I cannot recommend it.
