I actually really enjoyed my time playing Jazzpunk many years ago, but on a replay, the thing that ruined the game for me was the camera. I'm not exactly sure what's happening, I've messed around with all the settings (with and without vsync, at different levels of mouse smoothing), but even when I'm playing at 240 fps, there's a strange stuttering that gives me a headache. Because of that alone I cannot recommend this game even though I have generally positive feelings as to the comedy and world of Jazzpunk.
Probably my favorite comedy/parody game. I highly recommend it! You'll love it. Kids will love it. Fun for the whole family, Polyblank!
I found this game a bit meh. The humour didn't land with me, and it was just a few hours of meandering through silliness and mediocre minigames. I guess some people might like it if the "so random" humour appeals to them
idk what to feel i think what i feel is good tho
One of my favourite games. Absurdist, offbeat, funny, great graphics and engaging gameplay. I wish the devs would make a sequel.
literary absurdism is my favourite writing style and this game is the pinnacle of such. i basically spedrun the game, so ill absolutely be revisiting it later. could not recommend it more! 10/10
This game is funny and worth playing, especially if it's cheap since it's kinda short.
i have sucessfully lost all my brain cells.
Jazzpunk is a delight if you're even remotely a fan of espionage or nonsensical humor (or ideally both). There isn't anything challenging about the experience, but that's also not the point. You can knock out the story in a few hours, but there are enough random discoveries to be made to keep you occupied for quite a bit longer, and the world is certainly memorable enough to stick with you afterward and leave you with some fond gaming memories. Be sure to add this one to your list if you haven't had the pleasure already.
this game is silly fun. all of the minigames and little details were fun when i played them and just the little details and gimmicks through the world is very nice. absolute blast of a game.
Confusing, but fun
I wish I recognized more movie references
Did NOT make my eyes bleed from hyper-exposure of Smelling Salts™ 0/10
What a silly game :)
A game that you can finish within 2-4 hours. The game has very weird absurd humor and puns. This game is like one of those rpgmaker x walking simulator, where walking is 30% of content, but they put so much other stuff so it does not feel boring. I did feel pointless playing this but i got it on sale, so nothing feels like a waste.
I played this back in 2015 and re-experiencing it was a good memory lane for me.
I love the humor that alludes to the typical James Bond spy shit.
There is plenty of little side things that you can interact with and see the witty comedy.
It's basically a walking simulator with a few minigames and a lot of jokes.
Do it and you wont regret it. have my first child if u don't like it
Jazzpunk is definitely one of the games ever made
Very good game and I would want anybody who can played this to play the really good dlc that comes with it.
my penis grew 8 inches while playing this
Hilarious, and very fun, short playtime but still very much worth the price
The best video game I've ever played.
this game is great and you get to be a funny spy who goes to a funny hawaien restaruent and look at woman and more funny stuff. i havent played it in a while so i forogr a lot of things. sorry.
Outdated humor and I was bored half the time. The other half I was weirdly transfixed by it. This is really only a game that works back when it was made because the Internet's type of humor has changed so much since then. So, unless I get into a time machine with this game back in 2014 or whenever it was made, I probably won't like it. Also, it's pretty short.
Unfortunately, I will be playing again because I'm an achievement freak and I missed like half of them.
Oh look, another game that I played ages ago on my Youtube channel and forgot to leave a review for at the time!

If you've played the original Jazzpunk, then you know what to expect. Basically, the Director's Cut is a standalone, expanded version of the original game; in particular, the Ikayaki alley and Kai Tak resort levels have had a load of new content added to them.
If you've never played Jazzpunk before, then you're in for a treat. A psychedelic, colourful, bizarre, amusing, strange, surreal treat, to be more specific. It's kind of hard to describe Jazzpunk in just one or two words...
the perfect amount of chaos i would recommend to anyone who enjoys short, obscure games!
Ranging from dumb humour to dumb-dumb poo poo pants humour, Jazzpunk is a blast if you're on its wavelength. I'm not ashamed to admit I had many great laughs at the lengths Luis Hernandez went to serve a punchline of a pun.
To its credit, once I sat befuddled at the fact the joke only made sense by playing with three or more societal touchstones and subverting multiple expectations.
The controls are horrid for mouse, but if you can tackle them, I recommend it!
WOW this game is funny in the art direction simplistic but good and the levels look amazing
and the game plays pretty good to I won't spoil much but
you can do little side missions to which is fun
and it's definitely worth the money so
get it now
one of the few games to hold my attention long enough for that 100% achievement completion without being an achievement farming title like so much other bloatware on steam.
it's a little comedy crimi made with love and it's easily worth a go, though you may wish to wait for a sale.
played a couple hours, pretty fun
STILL TRYING TO GET FREE WIFI FROM STARBUX
So much fun, learned about this game so long ago, and watched every video I could find about it. That plus the multiple play-throughs I have done, and yet I keep coming back for more. So much content I find something new and even funnier every time. Great game of my childhood.
its weird but entertaining and humorous
Hilarious and one of a kind. Highly recommend.
This game is a joke, i mean literally.
nostalgic, and also liminal, has tons of depth and I mean depth, like little things you can do by just snooping around, 10/10, it's funny, interesting, has a nice art style, and is well made.
This game is 100% in my top 5 fav games on steam. this game is a masterpiece and i would recommed this game to anyone.
I love it so much its so wacky and weird and i love it!! There are so many funny side quests and other things 100/10 would reccomend!!!!!!!!
honestly a quirky classic, just as good as i remembered
As a society we looked over this game too quickly
It's not great, but it is pretty weird.
I really like the wedding minigame. It's super fun.
1 time play through kinda game. its funny.
I beat this game like 8 times back in 2014. This game has a lot of replay value. It’s something you can play when you’re bored but don’t feel like getting into a new game. Short and sweet. Also pretty funny.
this game feels like a fever dream. that being said, 10/10
Hilarious, short, fun. worth your money
great rip-offs of some of the best movies and shows of yesteryear in a techno setting.
This is by far one if the most underrated games I've played it's weird but also hilarious and super fun highly reccomend
Fun game with some good humor, I bought it on sale and have no regrets.
Gameplay
• You are Polyblank
• You have a job to do
If Trout Mask Replica was a game
greatest game of all time OF ALL TIMMMEEEE!!!!!! OF . ALL , TIIIIIMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Brilliant sense of humour and rewards exploration to find a lot of weird and wonderful side gigs. However, it is very short and within 3 hours I've 100% all achievements and beaten the game. Worth at least 1 play through but I'd recommend buying when on sale as £11 is a bit much for a game that sadly lacks in the replayability department.
The game was funny af, enjoyed all of it. More of an experience than a video game.
play this game since 2014-2015, so many random things on the mission.
i love lsd but it's expensive so i bought this and it's even better
2 hours to complete the game without collecting all achievements and also not going directly for objectives.
close to 2 & a half hours collecting all achievements (Following a guide that is)
30 minutes worth of playtime in the dlc, get it on sale like i did because i don't think its worth that much.
wonderful game! loved everything about it and enjoyed it thoroughly :]
This was a little tough to write a review about. Jazzpunk is one of those games that is so random that it’s played for the experience. If you’re looking for something ground breaking or with extreme graphics, keep looking. If you’re looking for a good laugh with basic gameplay controls – Jazzpunk will raise many eyebrows.
From what I understood of the story, Jazzpunk essentially revolves around the player being an agent. The player starts off in the subway and begins to walk towards a subway cart. Soon after, the player enters one of the carts to see that the person handing out missions has set up office in there. To begin a mission, the player has to take some sort of prescription drugs. The game right off the bat had me scratching my head; I didn’t know what to expect and had no idea what was to come. The gameplay and controls are quite simple. “A” button essentially interacts with everything, and everything (usually) has some sort of purpose to it. Some levels the player will be knocking down pigeons, possibly playing frogger, entering random mini-games VIA opening a pizza box, etc… The gameplay isn’t ground breaking, but it is engaging enough for someone to want to find out what mysteries lie ahead in the game.
The visuals and graphics are worth a mention. The artist certainly took their own approach to the graphics and kept everything relatively simple. I believe my old grade 8 art teacher may have said “that’s the use of negative space” – which I understood was focus on the outlines and not all the little details. Although this is the case, Jazzpunk has done a good job creating a proper atmosphere with little details that can be interacted with. The sounds and music are just as ridiculous as the visuals and graphics. Some corners of the maps will have random music, noises, and sounds (possibly indicating a hint). All (if not most) characters are also capable of dialogue, which is audible and visual for the player. Everything that is interacted with will make a noise. The ambience is literally a wonderful finishing touch to complete the game. Again, it’s far from perfect, but it’s perfect in its own unique way.
I would recommend a purchase if you’re looking for a different single player story experience (and if it's on sale). I’m not sure if the devs who made this were on some sort of drugs, but then again, so was Freddy Mercury when he wrote Bohemian Rhapsody. The game won’t leave a legacy like Queen’s song, it will however leave the player very confused, amused, and maybe on YouTube. If you’re looking for something that’s triple A, story or single player heavy, or a multiplayer feature – move on!
RATING: 7.1/10
cool stoner game. get it on a discount
Wonderful game. Needs a sequel or more content. Either way its a win win.
A great game that makes me wish there was more like it!
Give me the insane wacky adventures that happen in jazzpunk!
Great game! Get it!

i love how random this game is
Easily one of the best gaming experiences I had!
