it's the gold standard for TD games. No questions. However, lately they've gone FULL Micro transaction mode and hiding best heroes behind paywall. This of course, does not look good for future games.
a stylish and worth continuation of the series that offers enough mechanical departure from the first two installments to be totally worth purchasing; I don't even remember if this started as a flash game or not, but I think by now it should be pretty clear this is the definitive version and something more than worth picking up if you're a TD aficionado
Its not fun anymore without endless modes in Steam. The point of this game is to try out new strategic plan so there is no challenge left when the players have completed all maps. Please Ironhide can do better in Apple store and expect to do as good in Steam. Thank you.
Best regards,
Earth
The third installment in the series, chronologically the first game in the story of Kingdom Rush. Same good tower system, with slight changes in the basic variants. In contrast to the previous 2 games, heroes now have an ultimate ability, which can be activated by the player! The "Impossible" difficulty makes an appearance, increasing replayability and thrill by a big margin. Incredibly fun and satisfying experience, perhaps not as difficult as the previous 2 games, but still challenging. Level design is kinda lacking here, but it makes up for it, with some very ferocious enemies and cool special towers! I would rather say, wait for a sale, but give it a try!
9/10
Following a trend from the previous titles, the game kept improving while not deviating too far from it's origin and with "Origins" being in the title of the game they really delivered an amazing prequel.
Kingdom Rush games are always a blast. Great art style, good tactical challenge, and lots of content. Recommended.
not so good as first two parts, but still enjoyable.
3rd game of Kingdom Rush on Steam and so my 3rd Review, All I can say is my 3rd ongoing TD delight keep on rushing. Another one to add to my perfect games achievements.
Kingdom Rush is my favourite and perhaps the best Tower Defence games in the genre. "Origins" is another game in the classic series, with the story serving as a prequel -- namely how Veznan turned into a dark wizard. There are more towers, more heroes, more levels -- all the good stuff. If you like Kingdom Rush, this is another solid entry!
As the third game from the Kingdom Rush series, KR Origins does not present any drastic changes compared to the previous one developed two years before. The main theme in this one is more appealing to me particularly, since it's all about magic and nature, and the villains are great too, but the heroes and the main map don't seem as cool as the ones in Frontiers, in my opinion. Take the dragons, for example. The two in Frontiers are way cooler than the one in Origins. And the map in Origins is not as detailed and large as in Frontiers. Yet, this one has my favorite tower, Weirdwood, and my favorite hero, so far, Bravebark (yes, I like grumpy trees). As for most heroes in Origins, Bravebark's miniature in the selection menu looks cooler than the hero himself, but I like him a lot thematically speaking. The sound effects are still nice and the level design is challenging. If you are a completionist, you will find Origins are little bit too grindy and boring in order to get all the achievements compared to its predecessors.
It's ok but it's designed by one of those moronic kind of devs who pre-determines the maps so that if you don't follow the building pattern to solve the map then the game literally feels like its cheating to punish you.
Not an enjoyable experience for intelligent people because you can't experiment with the towers, but it's one of the better tower defense games among a very short list of available titles.
I buy all of these. I love their tower defense games.
I enjoyed KR Origins even more than its predecessors. It’s a great game to pick up if you enjoy tower defense games, or just want something light and relaxing. The game is fun and has a lot of personality.
hesus fackus it's fucking kindgdom rushus
Do you like rushing kingdoms during their origins?
And Easter Eggs?
very good tower defense, as good as other Kingdom Rush parts
So far the best Kingdom Rush game. I played the first 2 on mobile but this one is way better for me.
The art is nice, mechanics are fun, there are a lot of heroes and the ost is nice.
What I didn't like is that I must grind and level up all the champs 1 by 1... after I finished the campaign + the bonus levels I don't bother to max everything, because: 1st - all my towers are max lvl, 2nd - if I want to lvl up the other heroes I have to start from the low levels...
other than that, I love it.
Third time's the charm, as they say and this game proves it. They actually managed to hit the balance quite right. I assume this was also first a mobile game, but this one no longer feels like it was stripped of the P2W mechanic and actually works as intended full product. You can use multiple different units to achieve the same goal, unlike the previous games in the series where you could only use one or two different "presets" to win. Hopefully they kept this for Vengeance and continue doing it for newer games.
How many game references do you want?

Yes.
Very fun! Think fast and its really fun
As usual, made with love and attention to detail.
I think the towers are exceptionally thought out this time. Some aspects of them are good for the "frontline", some for picking on single targets. Nice! This allows for deeper tactics.
Yet again, Kingdom Rush never ceases to amaze. Another title that is worth your money, especially when you are a tower defense addict. Although my only complaint about this one would be the achievements, because some are either difficult to get, are acquired by chance, or take too long/requires repetition/farming or grinding. But that's just me talking as an achievement hunter. Anyways, a great tower defense game as always.
Personally, this was my favorite one of the series. I like the heroes and buildings the best. I think the game has a good mix of different types of units that can be used on each map.

what a fabulous TD!!! Im LOOKING 4ward 2 junk world by @IRONHIDE
Good tower defense, many heroes to choose from. (and not that easy as it seems :) )
This game is nice, but barracks are to OP. A max Bladesingers tower can take out 1 Ettin combined with good defenses. The Forest Keepers are nice, but not as good as the Bladesingers. The enemies are balenced, but can easily be killed by barracks. I like how there is some enemies that can easily take out barracks, but there is very few of them. Overall, this game is good because of the Webspitter Spiders, they can take out barracks like they are nothing but the Arcane Archers can reduce their magic resistance, making them very easy to take out. If you like Vengeance, this is for you. The Twilight Elves are challenging, but I wish the Twilight Harasser would be the basic enemy of the last 2 places, but it is largely replaced by weaker enemies.
Edit: It still is a bit of a downgrade, I forgot to mention that.

It's a very fun and entertaining game that gets you hooked instantly.
It is Kingdom Rush, what do you expect!?
It's a very solid tower defense game with plenty of content and a ton of replay value
one of the best tower defense games out there
Back to where it all began (In the timeline). Plenty of good heroes to use and challenging levels. Also Impossible mode exists
Origins is probably my favorite thematically of the Kingdom Rush games. I just like the setting a lot. It's a great entry into one of the best tower defense franchises out there. So you can't really go wrong with it.
Some of the towers and level upgrades are a bit odd though. There's an upgrade to the mage towers which has a chance for any attack from the tower to teleport enemies backwards, sounds pretty neat right? In reality this just means you'll cast a lightning spell and your mage tower will save the enemy and move them away from it. Which can really screw you up later, making the mage towers more of a hindrance than a help.
And the one mage tower upgrade where it can put enemies into some sort of stasis has similar impact, and that's one half of that tower's "benefit" so it's one of the worst towers in any of the KF games in my opinion. I do like that the barracks forces you to choose between melee and ranged at the two different upgrade paths. It makes your tactics very different than just letting them all have ranged attacks.
Overall the game feels a bit easy compared to the others. Even on the hardest difficulty once I had maxed out all my upgrades wasn't really a problem for me anymore. Unless I tried to pair leveling up a sucky hero with the highest difficulty. Having a fresh hero is a huge detriment. Especially if they're melee only on later levels. So I just stuck with one that I knew was good. The guy in the attack blimp, forget his name.
Ironhide never disappoints. Hopefully they'll add endless like they did with Frontier though.
I've always loved this tower defense game. The art style is unique and the game play is simple. I think anyone wanting a game that's fun and requires little effort, this is the one for you.
Best tower defense game on the market. The coding is stellar. You will not find any tighter game.
Do I recommend Kingdom Rush? uhh... obvi... tots obvi
Still a great Tower Defence game. Feels like a bit of a downgrade from Frontiers though. I understand the desire to distance anything from in-game purchases, but Frontiers did show that it can add to the game as long as it's implemented only within the gameplay.
Very good game. Overpriced though.
Wonderful game if you like Tower Defense
One of the best TD games in the kingdom rush series.
The best TD games series ever. Recommended
Another fun entry in this series of tower defense games.
It's the best TD type game in the market. Played on mobile as well, love its style.
ostensibly better than the original, which i enjoyed - but still too similar to feel engaging. still a good TD and you can't go wrong with any of the KR titles, but didn't scratch the itch for me.
love all the Kingdom Rush games. they are fun and have cool little thing hidden in the maps
game very very i must say it realy does good playing i like when i play game and eat food bcs i watch videos and hearing
Great fun!Though the bandersnatches are soo annoying
The most common opinion about this game is the comparison with Frontiers. I don't think that Origins is an inferior game to Frontiers, it has its own style like all games in the series. It is really a top tier tower defense game, just as its predecessors.
I really liked how fresh this felt in comparison to other titles in the Kingdom Rush Series
Um dos melhores jogos de torre.
kingdom rush game good i like am good
very good very fun good story and feels like you are real general with army
best game , its more than the tower game, can be played again and again...............
If you've liked playing the other ones this is going to be more of the same to enjoy.
Simple, clever and fun. Much recommended to fans of the tower defense genre.
The best for brain exercises...
A bit too short.. only buy at a discount.
Good game overall, and a lot of deversity. Many different heroes to pick.
Good game, interesting to play, some levels seem like they need a level of cheesing to finish but always enjoy the variety of new towers, heroes and enemies. Also where the hell are we?
Very creative and solid TD experience. Played it as a flash game back in the good old days of Armorgames. A generally more fun upgrade to the already addictive and successful Kingdom Rush.
Around the crystal lake level i was about to uninstall but after beating the game and then beating it again on impossible difficulty the game grew on me
solid 7/10
As of now, I proclaim Wilbur to be my spirit animal
