It's priced like an iOS game, which is good because that's what it plays like. It feels like this was made for a school project, in which case I'd give it a B.

Graphics: The graphics are very rudimentary polygons, which makes me think it would look a lot nicer if it was just 2D. If 3D was one of the parameters for your school project, then disregard that.

Story: Do you expect a story? You are man with gun. You must kill spiders.

Gameplay: Surprisingly good if I'm being honest. There are a multitude of upgrades that you can buy with the coins you get from dead spiders. When you kill a certain amount of spiders, bigger ones will start to come. It appears that all 3 types of spiders give the same amount of coins (5) despite the fact that the first type takes 2 bullets to kill and the third takes about 10.

Difficulty: There is none. I played for like 20 minutes straight and never died. Perhaps you'd die if you didn't buy the damage upgrades, though.

There isn't much here, but it's 99 goddamn cents. I'm still gonna say don't buy it unless you've got a couple bucks lying around because, I mean, you could find functionally identical but better games for free on Newgrounds and such.

P.S. Note to the Dev: 4 of the achievements are improperly capitalized and 1 says the singular spider, not the plural spiders.

P.P.S. Suggestions: Perhaps multiple weapons, since you already have the shop figured out.

The gameplay for Last Soldier is quite straight forward.
You are a soldier stationed in the jungle, who is facing attacks by giant mutant spiders.
However, the soldier only stands in one spot during all of the attacks, so the game is not very entertaining.
You just need to click fast on the spiders to shoot them.

The only really hard part about the game is lasting long enough to get the "kill 2500 spiders" (in one life) achievement - although, the developer has said that he will make the spider achievements cummulative.
*** Update, Sept. 2017 *** The developer has now made the kills cummulative, which makes getting all of the game's achievements much easier.

In some ways Last Soldier is more like a clicker game, as you just spend hours spamming fast clicking all over the screen - there's not a lot of skill involved in doing that, it's more a case of doing it until your hand hurts, and it puts you in the running to get a repetitive strain injury (RSI).
*** With the cummulative kills update, going for all of the achievements in the game is a more reasonable affair (previously, it would take too long, and - as I found out after spending too much time trying - it just wasn't worth it).
The update has therefore improved the game.

However, the entertainment value of the game is very low.
Basically, once you've shot a few spiders, you've played the entire game; all the rest is just spamming your left-click button, which is not entertaining, not fun, and not skillful - in fact, after a short while, it just gets more painful rather than anything else (even more painful if you end up with RSI because of this game).

If you get a coupon which enables you to buy the game for 20 cents, or similar, then maybe get it for about 15-30 minutes of gameplay.
Apart from that, I would suggest that you don't bother getting the game.

(Whilst this is a largely negative review of the game, it should be acknowledged that the developer has listened to the suggestions of players and has updated the game accordingly. Well done.)

I bought it with a coupon that made me pay 10 cents for this.
My hand hurts from spam clicking to kill spiders.
After 100 Kills it gets boring and the upgrades doesn't do anything extra or special except than just being a flashy showcase. The spiders gets super boring in the end from how repetetive it is which ends with the game not even being challenging.

Add more weapons or buffs that works properly. The mines doesnt explode properly and sometimes they just disappear and the spider doesn't get hurt at all. Also when you kill them, sometimes the spiders doesn't even drop gold at all which could be frustrating if you want anything to change in the screen.

This game is very glitchy and is not worth paying even with just 10 cents. There is games that are free which has the same mechanics but has more enjoyable playstyles. Only reason I can see someone buying this game is to just fill their library with quantity of games instead of quality.

If you are here for the achivevements. Use an autoclicker to keep yourself away from the pain in the wrist from clicking too much.
Its not rewarding enough to even want to play the game properly. You just want it done and after reading other people's reviews, comments etc. I can agree that its annoyingly long to recieve the achievements and its not worth doing it for hours straight.

I can't recommend it. Even at a price of 0,10€ (bought it with a -90% voucher).
It's a tablet game brought to PC (pretty sure about it even though I didn't check, but the tutorial has a tablet-like rim and also says "Tap to ... ")
And it plays and looks like a tablet game.

The game gets extremely repetitive, there's 3 different enemies, 6 things you can buy in the shop (from which some are just useless) and no different environments.
The game consists of spamming your left mouse button on those spiders which are slow, can't move around obstacles you place, and are extreme bullet sponges.

Pretty terrible concept, art, graphics, physics. Nothing to it other than a point-and-press type of game. Easy to 100% tho. Message me if you want to know how to do it fast

Very simple, basic game. But worth the $0.11 I paid for it. If you can get a deal on it, worth it. At full price, not even close.

Bought it with a voucher for .10 cents. It's a mobile/tablet game ported to PC...way easier to click with mouse than to tap with finger. Bullet upgrades do not work after the 2nd upgrade (ie: bullet dmg stops multiplying), so don't spend your coins on that after tier 3. Got this for the acheivements - takes about 2 to 4 hours depending on how you play. Not disappointed for what I paid.

I got this discounted and bought it for 9 pence.
It was the worst 9 pence i ever spent.
Never play this.
Watching paint dry is frankly more exciting.

It gets boring after a minute.. yes.. after 1 minute.
All you do is click to kill the enemies and upgrade your stats. That's the whole game.
