LEMURIA is a weird game but it also doesn't pretend to be more than anything it is. It's a mix of shootouts, dialogues and cutscenes so gameplay is pretty varied as an action/adventure type game.

I'd describe it as being an over the top B-movie with Text to Speech voice acting and well the story (for what it is) and all is a bit of a so bad it's actually kinda intriguing?

All the weirdness aside it did managed to charm me and it's addictive. And I loved that you play different characters throughout the chapters.

You can always try out the Demo which give a good feel of what you can expect in the full game.

Here's hoping there will be a sequel!

Well-developed characters. A road-movie style plot in which the process is more important than the end point. 2 control modes: general, similar to the controls in interactive movie games, and combat, very soft and comfortable. I liked it.

I liked it a lot. It is an interesting and diverse shooter that offers addictive gameplay, dynamic shootouts, dialogs and cutscenes. If you like third-person shooters with adventure elements, you should like this game. And Kanta is just delightful!

This is a STRANGE game. Lots of well done content...and lots of parts that you could class as SO BAD IT'S GOOD! So either way, it's pretty much a win / win! If you want a feel for what the game offers try the well done DEMO. It is super short, yet you can start out on easy, then see if you can beat normal. Finally try hard. By the time you have tried that out you will KNOW if you want the full game. I beat the demo on easy then purchased the full game with DLC. Quite happy with my decision so far. If you like weird games, GO FOR this one!

An exciting shooter with adventure elements. I played on a difficulty level much higher than the default one offered, and it allowed me to feel all the shootouts, and I especially liked it in the students' dormitory.

KInda hilarious at times, but the robotic speaking is horrible, grammar is also lacking and i do hope this is made by somebdoy who can not even speak english. For the price the game is not worth it, this should be either free to play or cost less than it does, the models look half decent untill they die and the story is well trash also.

The plot of this game reminded me of the Guy Ritchie movies + the hardcore intimate breaks from Paul Verhoeven's Showgirls.
If you compare it to the games everyone knows, it's more like Max Payne, but which you can play without slowing down time. Also, it's that rare case where the game constantly has background music and it doesn't annoy me and matches the action. The third-person camera is quite workable and confident in getting around obstacles. I tried Adventure camera: it's unfamiliar, but comfortable enough, perhaps even more comfortable than the standard camera.
The female characters are admirable for their elaboration and animation.
Judging by the price, I expected to finish the game in one evening, but it turned out to be considerably longer. I'll probably complete this review later.
Finished playing. Found the perfectly directed and animated dialogue of the sammons almost at the very end. I'll be waiting for the sequel.

Very strange game. It seems in this day and age with so many years having gone by since Pong came out that even low budget games would be of reasonable quality. I don't know of anyone who talks like a robot in real life, so why in the name of all that is sacred does every single character in this game sound like the 1960s robot from Lost In Space reruns? These are real people adding their robot voices to the game! Really? It's beyond annoying. The graphics are terrible, as well. The screenshots look far, FAR better than the game itself, and I have a GeForce RTX 3080, so that definitely isn't the problem. That good-looking, long-haired brunette in the screenshots is pixelated like an old blocky character from the first Baldur's Gate or Neverwinter Nights games. Sadly, all these problems detract from the immersion of the game immensely. I have 1 hour playtime on record, and that is where it is going to stay. I cannot attempt to remain engaged in something like this when there are so many much better games out there (and in my collection) that were made a decade or more ago, visually and audibly. And the mechanics were off-the-chart terrible! Not to mention, the story was kind of stupid, too! The clowns at amQuests need to go back to game-making school! This game sucks big, green, donkey balls!

This game is riddled with issues. Player characters walk way too slowly. Certain levels, like the hospital, takes forever to load. AI companions do this weird janky karate that never seems to actually kill enemies, but simply just pushes them away slightly. And what the hell is this "Smothering Roots" spell supposed to do? These are just some of the issues I've encountered while playing this game. But as flawed as it is, the game is strangely engrossing in a certain goofy way. I enjoyed the time I had playing this game, jankiness and all. Heck, I would play the sequel too if that ever happens.

I mostly play old tried-and-true franchises, but I tried this game and wasn't disappointed at all. What's more, played it for dozens of hours over several days on the highest level of difficulty.

Great game! It has a sense, a story, drive, fresh solutions, unlike many products of famous companies, which in recent years are just chewing the old cud.

It's self-evident that the game's budget was minimal. Calling it "indy" makes no sense, as that term is now stretched to the point where the budget is only just under $100,000,000. So you get a gradation from "Still Indy" to "Already Indy" and on to "International Indy Corporation." So that's "Still Indy". That said, in many cases, the screenshots and gameplay footage are as good as the products of "Indy Corporations".

The gameplay is very varied. Depending on the chapter, you have to attack, defend, shoot from ambush, and there's full stealth without the right to kill (and that was the hardest and most narrative). And it's all spiced up with a slight erotic undertone. There is no mocap for each dialogue phrase, but the animation set is sufficient to maintain a simulated naturalness. The voices are fortunately not recorded by the developers themselves and their friends, but by VoiceAI. This is not the first game with this approach, and it may soon become a trend.

I also have to mention the NPC AI. It is very advanced, and for a product in this price bracket it is excellent! By the way, the price of the game is more than democratic, you can only buy Tetris at a discount cheaper price.

I recommend buying it and having fun.

This is Morbius of video games!
The ending is terribly abrupt, you don't even get to travel to actual Lemuria, but the game itself is worth enough to play through.

Uncanny valley done RIGHT and REAL GOOD!

20 hours of pure fun! Unfortunately it seems the game was cut short after the Teleport scene from the Virtual Fantasy simulator. After learning the secret from the captive, the game just returns to the Lemuria title screen instead.

What happened?!? Is this game unfinished? When can I get to the part where Alex and Kanta go to Lemuria? When am I going to see those hot kinky scenes between the two? Perhaps even better than in the intro/demo mission?

I will still recommend this game since it is only $8 approx, but be prepared for some late-game (or rather, last-minute) disappointment.

I think it has a good first start. Give the developer(s) time. I could go somewhere good I think.

First Impressions..

This game is fun and a good value for the price. As others have mentioned it is clear it is an Indy game, but it does well with what it has and the graphics engine is very good for an Indy game. There is solid shooter gameplay here as well as decent enemy ai. Also of mention is that the developer listens to feedback and interacts well and has added options since release such as good 21:9 ultrawide resolution support and invert mouse option as well. I hope the game continues to improve and gets new content.

It's so addictive that I want more after completing the story, and the last chapter playing the female protagonist is fun with creative level design, the magic and melee combat styles feel good with the girl. Want her or the other chicks in most maps, these females are top quality characters. Much better If the position and distance of the camera can be adjusted, for example with mouse scroll and middle mouse button. Need character customization or options to choose different characters.

I was initially interested in the banner girls, but the action was just as exciting. I love shooters and erotic games, and here it's all in one package.
