You're Spiderman. You swing. You swing some more. You feel happy inside.
Then the baddies gotta ruin your vibe and make you sad. But you're still happy cuz you're Spiderman.
This might just be the best thing I've ever played in my life. From story to mechanics, I can't point out a single flaw. If you're not a Spider-man (don't forget the hyphen) fan already, you will be!
This game has one of the most beautiful graphics and animations, there is also a very big modding community.
This is one of my favorite games of all time. If you have not gotten a change to play it yet, do so! It is 100% worth it!
This game is the jackpot! Literally it reminds me of old Spider-Man Web of shadows, except that there is no alien parasite. The story-line is the best. I can't wait for miles's version to come out. I love Doc Ock's version too. This game is the best steam action game out right now that I can tell.
Easily the best Spider-Man outing in video games since Raimi's Spider-Man 2 game on the Play Station 2. Has a great modding community that will keep you active and engaged for hours.
It's a fairly average game with some questionable design choices (the soft lock-on is terrible) but I enjoyed the web swinging.
Absolutely amazing game, having played it on the PS4 when the game launched I wanted to buy it again so I could experience the amazing story and it was just as great as it was back in 2018, the web slinging is great and the combat has variety, though it does leave something to be desired, the puzzle sections are also pretty boring as well. The DLC is okay, I haven't completed the third DLC but so far it seems much more lacking compared to the other two. However I'd still recommend this game for anyone looking for a movie-like spider-man experience with a fair amount of variety in combat.
Absolutely outstanding game. I could not recommend this game enough. The story is absolutely fantastic.
what do you think of this game i asked my 3 year old son... he likes getting backpacks, fighting people, and swinging, he wants to be the real spiderman! He's gonna play now!
Breaking news! New York man coats local buildings, infrastructure, and PEOPLE in mysterious sticky white liquid.
Horrible performance on older CPU's is all I can think of tbh. I have a 9900k and a 3080 and I get horrible performance even with Ray Tracing off. My buddy has a 11700k and a 3070ti and he gets better performance with Ray Tracing on than I do with it off..... Optimization is horrible, hopefully this isn't going to be the trend with Nixxes games because this was not the case with the God of War port.
Great gameplay, and great outfits. Story is less than mediocre, in fact its horrible but its still an extremely fun game, I highly recommend it 9/10
Best Spider-Man game I've ever played.
Writing this as someone who played and beat from the very first Spiderman game to this one.

This game is a masterpiece. The story is very good- not great, there could be more done and I think the parts with MJ and Miles doing stealth missions I could do without, but they were probably necessary. The story arc was well done and watching Otto fall was compelling and made sense. Not many of the other villains were fleshed out and electro and vulture in particular were a non-threat because you took them out so soon after the breakout. Li was compelling like Otto in that we knew him and had a rappor but rhino electro vulture and scorpion were just regular villains and didn't really hit me with any emotions like Otto and Li. The movement on the other hand is phenomenal. Personally, I think the movement is nigh unparalleled and feels very smooth. 9/10
THIS IS THE BEST SINGLE PLAYER GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED...
I literally love spider-man and I'm extremely pleased with this game, I definitely recommend it.
If you are a fan of spider-man and love the old retro games, I highly recommend to buy this game. It comes with all the DLC also so... It's a must have for the collection
I'm at 77% completion and I'm stuck due to a game breaking bug. How about you fix your game critical bugs before releasing this piece of crap? I always knew the web slinging was off, the aim is terrible, but I didn't expect to not be able to finish the barrel in the water research mission because the system refused to lock onto the barrels to shoot webs at them. That was the last straw, literally, as I am stuck and can't finish the game. I am not restarting. If I could I would ask for a refund, but this bug is later in the game so I guess that's just too damn bad for me huh?
Happy that spiderman remastered came to pc most def recommend this game expecially to those who want to enjoy this game to its fullest
This game was already near perfect on the PS5, but with the ability to mod, the community has made some truly great suits, animation mods, reshades, and script changes such as the faster swing mod... I truly recommend this game to any Spider-Man fan or any one who is hesitant of purchasing the game again for 60 bucks.
ps: There are NSFW and meme mods, and it can be a good laugh... (Watch out for Spooder-Man)...
the game main story is fun however the side mission are boring as hell ziping thru the city gets boring after 30 hours all in all its a good game not a great one not sure i would recommend paying full price for this but if you can get a 40% off then id say its worth the money a 6.5/10 for me
After 15 hours of play, I can honestly say I do not recommend this game.
The combat and exploration in the game are top notch, but the tasks you perform are all very basic and seem to boil down to three to four types:
Defeat all enemies
Chase enemy
Stealthy defeat all enemies
Collect x things
The game is quite shallow. I frankly expected much better given the reviews and the hype around this game. Maybe I'd have liked it more when it first came out, but there's much better games out there, I'd rather spend my time playing them.
This is the worst I have ever played and you want to know why? Because this game is A MENACE TO THE VIDEO GAME INDUSTRY!!!
Ever since the good o'll days we were playing tennis with a friend or blowing up random asteroids. But then that mushroom freak Mario started stomping on turtles, the whole video game world is all about violence and torment.
And what does SPIDER-MAN have to do with this?
Well, this game encourages people to interfere with police business and beat up random strangers, meddle with police equipment and Don't even get me started on the photography missions. You wanna know why buildings are tall? is so that the occupant could have more privacy in their home without having people look through your windows.
But now SPIDER-MAN can just crawl on the side of the wall and invade your privacy and take pictures of you while you're in the shower.
(10/10 would highly recommend)
constant updating every time I open the game, when I come home from work I want to play the game not have to wait an hour for some useless 5gb update. The updates don't change anything, why are you constantly adding useless updates to the game, just let it be.
I chose to use the previous version rollback and for some reason it's got a 7gb update today despite launching perfectly fine yesterday. Really over this update nonsense, just let the game be or make updates optional, this is not a multiplayer game, this is really pissing me off.
Awesome game. Very good nice city nice mechanics in fighting and web slinging. Something weird about my graphics but doesnt really matter
I spent 13 hours in this game just to find out that spider man's aunt may dies which is a horrible end to a "ps4 exclusive" but is a now PC game after 4 years, on top of that after 2 years we get a second game know as miles morales but sony couldn't just wait till 2023 for Spider man 2
look at that subtle off white colouring, a tasteful thickness of it, oh my god, it even has a watermark
Executing combos and moving around as Spider-Man is super satisfying. Pretty much makes the entire game. That on top of being able to do stealth, pack that with a good story and you have yourself a winner. Definitely don't miss out on this game.
The only gripe I have is that I did crash several times throughout the game randomly, but the dev team seems to be diligently patching things so that's good. Just be sure to save every now and again just in case.
My new favorite game of all time. Without question. If you have ever even considered playing this game you 100% should. You will not regret it.
Watched a playthrough of this back when it came out and was very happy with the story. Getting the chance to web-swing for myself while re-experiencing the story was well worth it.
could have released this as web swinging simulator with no missions and it'd still be more fun than most new games 9.5 out of 10 wrist goops. Tsushima pls
One of the best games I have ever played.
Spooder-man Rimassturd game look good and is fun 10/10 but if i have to play as miles will rate lower
The last Spider-Man game I played was on the Sega 32x. This one is better.
Really fun game with a very hefty amount of things to do ranging from missions, to collectibles, to even taking pictures of places. Graphics are incredible, gameplay is solid and fun (especially with a controller) overall. 8.7/10 primarily due to the fact that there are points in the game where control is ripped from you in more than just a cutscene way.
Pretty good. Ghost of Tsushima and Miles Morales when?
Game is like a 7/10. kinda meh.
Gameplay/combat feels bland. Web swinging is nice but the city is very empty.
Main mission quests tells a nice cinematic storyline, but again this is a video game. Every other quest or marker is basically a fetch quest or beat up waves of bad guys. Quite bland, like a luke warm day old green banana. Also gameplay is filled out with simplified one button QTEs.
Had a technical sound issue once or twice where the music and voices were silent, just had to close & reopen game fix.
Play it if you want, but I'd say this has nothing to miss out on if you skip it. Spend 15 hrs playing something else and think nothing of it if you chose to pass this game up.
I am having to refund the game sadly. Its a good game I played just about all the storyline on my PS4 in 2019 but the game bugs out without fail at the web gadget part and I cant do anything so early on in the game too. I tried looking for a way to fix it and nothing working in needed to stop before i wasnt able to get my money back.
good game, little repetitive, but fun
Simply put one of the best games I've ever played. Spider-Man was one of my favorite super heroes; DC or Marvel. By the end of this game I cannot get enough Spider-Man. I've never been into comics, now I've bought 3 Spider-Man comics in a week. Every waking second I had for the first week I bought it was all Spider-Man. I work 12 hour days, I'd get home and play for 4 hours. Then go to bed. All I wanted was more and more and more. I haven't even beaten the DLC's yet and I'm already sad it's coming to an end. If you are considering buying this game, stop considering and just give them the money... It's worth every penny.
This is the best Spider-Man game there is. Swinging through the city feels amazing, combat is smooth, the quips are plentiful. Highly recommended.
I really like the engaging story, and the game play really gets me involved. Incredible cinematic experience.
The most fun I've had playing a superhero game. It brings back some nostalgia from playing the Spiderman game that was made for first gen consoles (I played the hell out of that on the OG Xbox). The graphics look insane with ray tracing, with lighting looking near-to-life. I also love how the plot unfolds to introduce new characters.
It really makes you feel like spiderman
My favorite single-player game, hands down. I'm a huge Spider-man fan, and this game crosses every superhero fantasy off on its checklist. You won't be disappointed!
spindr man good very good thumb up from me
Such a great game. Very minor bugs. Easily playable. Top teir game, let alone super hero game.
Great game, but there are some graphic bugs in the cut scene that breaks the emersion.
My first Spider-Man game was Spiderman 2 on Playstation 2. I haven't played a Spider-Man game since that time, so I was very excited to see that Spider-Man Remastered was coming to PC. What I didn't expect is just how FUN the game would be. So fun, in fact, that I took the extra time to collect every achievement in the game. I often set out to 100% a game, but never finish because it becomes too grindy and repetitive. And don't get me wrong, this game, when played to 100% can get grindy and repetitive, but the gameplay itself and even “simple” things like basic traversal through the world, is just fun. I’d log in for a few minutes a time to get a “swing” in and chip away at all of the gangs overrunning New York. I used the fast travel system less than in any other open-world game simply because swinging around in stylized fashion was just incredibly smooth and satisfying. This game, dare I say it, really makes you feel like you’re Spider-Man.
Story: To my tastes, the story is compelling, interesting, emotional, and personal. The setting is an incredibly detailed recreation of New York. The layout, the monuments, and the sights exist in this game at the locations in which they exist in real life. The realism of the setting lends itself to feeling invested in the story itself. The characters in the story are, by enlarge, easy to get attached to. The character development is good and, in most cases, you never really hate any one person in the game even if they’re a villain or enemy (except for Screwball…..I hate Screwball). The dichotomy of a villain that is formerly admirable but sadly corrupted by very unfortunate life circumstances is certainly not an unexplored one, but it’s very true to the Spider-Man style in the movies we all grew up with and love. This game was almost like being 10 year old me seeing a banger Spider-Man movie for the first time, and the music is nothing short of nostalgic, classic Spider-Man. Another classic Spider-Man motif is just the wit and humor of the dialogue between Spider-Man and his enemies. Though the story is actually quite sad at times, Peter’s witty banter and modest existence brings a light-heartedness to the experience that just keeps you going….not to get revenge, but because it’s the right thing to do.
Gameplay: The mechanics of combat and traversal in this game are incredibly smooth. Looking back, it’s not a complicated control set at all….the detail is in timing and in the combination the player chooses to use. You can be as straightforward as you want to be (hit, dodge, repeat), or go crazy with acrobatic stunts and combos that never get old to watch. It’s simple enough that you can always win an encounter with the basics, but you can have some extra fun by getting creative. Though there is the occasional glitch, by enlarge, I found myself incredibly impressed by just how smooth swinging across New York is. And with each ability you unlock, you have dozens of interesting ways to incorporate it into your fighting style. Each and every new ability and Gadget has a use, but you’re not required to use them to win. This approachability makes this game easy to recommend to just about any skill-level of player.
Some Cons: Not everything is perfect. There are sequences that can be downright annoying. The puzzles get old in a hurry (though are skippable by changing a setting in the game if that’s you’re speed). And times when you’re playing as other characters, though brief, can feel like a speedbump on a highway. When you spend most of the game with incredibly fast mobility and combat capabilities, and then play as someone who’s just a normal human being, it’s easy to just feel frustrated that all you can do is hide behind boxes and shove over toolboxes to create distractions. I can’t fault the game for these things, as they are meaningful to the story, but I can say that I just couldn’t wait for those sequences to be over.
TLDR: Great game. Incredibly fun combat and traversal, and the story is actually a driving force in you wanting to play instead of being tacked on to justify the game’s existence. Like any other game, there were a couple of minor design decisions (puzzles, sequences playing as other characters) that feel like they’re taking you away from the fun, but they’re short and not difficult to get past. Insomnia nailed the Spider-Man ethos in this game, and any fans of this hero will really enjoy playing this game.
one of the best spider-man games of all time!
very good cant wait for miles morales
First time playing a modern spiderman game and it was fantastic. This really got me back into couch gaming and I hope Sony releases more games on PC!
Truly a fantastic game and an excellent PC port. This is one of, if not the best super hero games ever made
Insomniac were the best pick for developing a Spider Man game, their trademark movement style makes traversing New York addictingly fun.
The Arkham-style combat is satisfying, blending combos with aerial attacks and web shots makes this simple combat system engaging at every moment.
The story is pretty good too, with Peter Parker's delivery and writing holding up the plot even at its weakest moments.
The open world and quest design is great for 5-15 minute sessions that keep you saying "just one more mission." Unfortunately, longer and more complex missions are kept to only a few of the main missions, I would've loved to see more fleshed out missions.
Altogether, this game is a Spider-Man fan's dream come true game, a must play.
i can't stand playing as MJ. Otherwise, Amazing.
Fun game with tons of production value.
It's definitely about spider-man.
Also swinging around New York is endlessly fun and the fluid combat system rocks.
Buy it.
Developers put out so much garbage these days that it's kinda insane to see a game that just delivers on all fronts. Graphics are nice, sling movement is amazing, combat is good, enemies ramp up in difficulty and variety over the course of the game, skills actually enhance gameplay rather than being pointless % bonuses, gadgets are all useful in their own way, crafting/upgrade system is not over-the-top to the point where nobody can be bothered to use it, and there are very few bugs. Oh and the PC port is good too. Just genuinely a good game.
Ive never owned any playstation, so i never got the chance to play this game. when i heard it was coming to pc, i was excited to get it. it is an amazing game and is probably a top 3 game for me. i played it for hours and hours when i got home from school and i beat the game in about 2 weeks. the only thing is, you need a very good pc (which i dont have) for it since its the remastered version. i was probably averaging about 30 fps while playing it. there are very little graphics settings, so i cant really change the amount of fps i got. my playtime is almost 30 hours. i cant play it any more because the game just crashes when I try to open it. It is a great game, but you need a good pc
screwball makes me wanna commit suicide
game is super well designed looks fantastic and probably the best ever ported game from PS to PC.
Man just get this fucking game, its perfect
DO NOT BUY
game barely functions, i have recommended specs for the game, and it just Doesn't work. I play RDR2 at high graphics settings 160fps just fine, but this game wont do consistent 50. Screw sony and their low quality ports.
horrible PC controls.... I can't over state this enough.... IT SUCKS
very good and spider-man is here
Pros: nice graphics, nice sound. Battles with bad guys are done well. Mission structure is okay.
Cons: Too many side puzzles, some of which are painfully annoying. Even though it's a sandbox game, the game developer has the title locked down so no going Homelander on innocent people. Too many side segments where you play as another character that doesn't have any special abilities. Cut scenes tend to be bloated. It seems as though the game developer really wanted to make a movie as this game has way too many cut scenes (some of which you can skip). Be nice if this was a game where the gamer could choose the path he/she would like. Not horrible. A good purchase if on sale.
starts off great and never stops being fun. perfect for any spider-man fan.
Remember the spider-man games for PS2, specifically Spider-man 2?!? This game brings back the great gameplay along with some crazy cool graphics! ive been searching for something like this to roam around and have total freedom, THIS GAME DOES THAT! i am so happy Playstation games are finally on steam, they really did justice with this game! i def recommend getting a controller for games this in depth, as keyboard and mouse seem to have way too many keys to press for what could be so simple. if youre thinking about buying this, DEF DO! you wont regret it!!!!
Do I think this game is worth $60?
Yes
Do I think a $60 fully remastered, 4 year old game should have this many bugs?
Absolutely not
Be prepared for crashes and bugs, but besides that this game is stellar. Within the first week of me having it i already put in 25 hours, had me pulled into the story.
makes you feel like spider-man
Nice story mode game packed with tremendous thing keep u interested and addicted
Either it's my crap computer or this game is poorly optimized for pc but it fills up my entire memory and RAM when I play it please helppp im lagging so hardd
this game was simply fantastic
from its stunning visuals to its awesome gameplay
i was having fun the entire time i was playing
even the side quests are fun, granted most of them are a fetch quests which im not very fond of as they get really tedious at times
the combat was very fun and ive managed to string some really cool combos that seem like something spiderman would actually do :)
the only thing that brings this game down for me is the stealth missions as they are really drawn out and kinda buggy at times (there would be times where im not even in their line of sight and they still saw me)
overall i give this game a strong 8/10
there was some areas to be ironed out but generally an amazing game :D
Every 10 seconds you watch a 60 second cutscene.
C'mon, it's Spider-man! Super fun, runs great, good story. Some bits are a repetitive and even then they were fun. Highly recommended.
A fantastic game with a rich story and amazing combat. It does get a little bit repetitive to 100% all cities but it is IMHO very much worth it.
Great game, great story great relatable characters and FANTASTIC gameplay
I like the part where you're Spider-Man
amazing game that is all lol its an amazing game
i mean come on, its the least you could do, they spent like 4 yrs porting this shite, (said that for effect its not actually shite please dont sue me sony, i have a family) so buy the game :)
spiderman. spiderman. bukak baju, nampak nenen
sold my soul to get every achievement
This game really makes you feel like spider-man.
if this game was a person, i'd let it fuck my wife
SPIDER MAN IN 60 FPS??? YES!!! But my friend bought this game new on PS4 for $20 like bruh.
Waited for this to come out on pc and was not disappointed.
I love spiderman and i love the story to this game but i thiml it has been ported to pc realy badly as i have an rtx 3060 and i7 but am still encountering massive frame drops and lag spikes even on low quality settings.
you get the base game + all the DLCs bundled in, more of a collection game than an RPG, combat gets repetitive, swinging through the city is fun and the challenges are different(sometimes).
