Vary good love the fish animations and lots of different patterns and colors to pick from.
A restful, fish feeding simulator. Once they are fed you can leave it playing and interact with the Koi.
A relaxing game - so far :)
At first, it seemed that "unlocking" things would be a chore. This early in the game, I've unlocked a lot - it's feeling more like it's quickly highlighting new features than like I've had to work to access more content.
But they told me, he swears, "trying to talk to me—coy koi"
Customizable chill. Great music and sounds to relax to. "playing" is literally one button and choosing fish.
Fun little aquarium simulator.
Hardly say that it's a game, the things we can do are very limited.
To feed the fishes and choose what kind of fish to add, that's all.
If you treated it as buying a fish tank in your computer, it's ok.
Some people say watching gold fishes swimming can help us to relax.
The graphic is good. Watching those fishes swimming is fun.
I recommend this game to those who like gold fish.
The game is pleasing to look at but gets boring real fast, the only interaction is to feed the fish by clicking repetitively. (don't mind the game hours 90% of the playtime is me going afk with the game on)
Would be better if they made this into a wallpaper apps.
or Just play Cookie Clicker by Orteil.
Nice to watch the fish swimming around on my second monitor :)
Also nice to feed them daily and watch them grow ^^
buggy but relaxing when it works...dont know what more can be said i;f you dont have a koi pond now you do......... when it works
It's good for what it is, cheap koi pond simulation. I like it because I've always wanted a koi pond and this might be as close as I get for a while. Nice just to use as a screen saver sometimes.
Does make you wish there was a little more though, if giving them more attention could do more than just being fully fed. Could add more ponds, because 3 seems to be the max and doesn't take long to fill them. And the physics aren't great, your fish will kind of bounce off each other rather than swim around each other, which detracts from visual appeal that it focuses on.
Would say this is the best of this specific genre right now on steam, but it's 3 stars out of 5. Makes you wish they would put something more into it to make it great.
Not just giving this a positive review by default, hope to see updates, and if not, hopefully show an interest for this type of game to other devs
This is not a game, but a very light version of the aquarium. Few interactions with fish. I recommend, but I would like to develop the project.
Relaxing Koi Pond Simulator. De-stress & reduces anxiety by watching the Koi swim about on your screen.
Allows you to have a Koi Pond in your apartment (or room) on your computer monitor.
Includes relaxing music and nature sounds (rain, lightning).
Fish cannot die, or be overfed. Just feed them everyday to open new slots for more fish and different varieties. (Not really a game, so much as a Pond simulator).
I have found this game to be relaxing. I leave it on in the back ground in my office during the work day. There is something so peaceful and comforting to watching them swim. As the fish have grown it has become even more gratifying. Certainly not an action game... lol, but stress reducing... yes!
It's relaxing, the art is gorgeous. I like sitting and watching/listening to the water. It does use a lot of battery though.
This game is relaxing and fun to play and the graphics are beautiful! I'd recommend this game to anyone who likes games like Niche, The Sims, or Planet Zoo since it has sort of the same theme !
It's hard to explain why I like this "game". It's not really even a game. You make fish, You feed fish. When they're full, you shut it down.
Yet it's also calming. It's 10 minutes each day that can actually help me decompress after work. It's basically always the same for me - trying to figure which fish in which pond is going to avoid eating the longest.
All in all, the gameplay is pretty simple. The graphics and sound are what you're after here. Pretty soon you'll start caring for your fish and will want to make sure they stay well fed and happy! Give it a go!
Provides a beautiful, mellow break in the day. The sounds and visuals are quite pleasing. Low stakes. A good tool for a quick mindfulness, self-care break.
My Koi is a relaxing fishpond simulator where you take care of your own created Koi fish.
Customize your own koi, give them a name, feed them and watch them swim around and grow.
It's a game where I often return to, not just for feeding my fish but also for the relaxation that you find inside this game.
The nature sounds are amazing, and things like the rain effect sound different when you look underwater than it does when you look from above, which is a nice detail.
I also love the lightning when it storms, it's done so perfectly!
The game looks stunning and the fish are very realistic too.
Sadly enough, there isn't much you can do...
I wish you could create your own underwater world and plant things, because it does look a little empty.
More meditation than anything else, My Koi is calming to watch. It's the closest I'll come to owning a Koi pond and I'm loving it. It's my twice a day treat to sit, relax, and enjoy looking at beautifully patterned fish drifting, darting, diving and generally doing what fish do.
It's okay. Let's be honest: this is a mobile "game" ported to PC; don't expect more. The fish are nice, but you really don't do much with them other than feed them and try to find them in a huge pond. For the rest, think of it as a relaxing audio track that you can interact with.
This isn't really a "game", it's more of an application. It's fun to watch and pretend you have a pond of Koi fish, though.
It is the next best thing to sitting in front of an aquarium or beside a pond.
Very relaxing. The fish look beautiful, The soundscape is relaxing.
Fun to watch the fish swimming around while listening to an Audio Book which is my favourite way to enjoy this "game".
Personally the best £3.99 I have spent recently. Worth every penny.
Create your Fish and , well, .....feed them !
Unlock every slot for the fishes by achieving little goals , meant to return daily for growing them.
And if you are bad at keeping fish ....dont worry its a game...and in games all is well.
(i have a cat at home, so this is the best solution to not find empty aquaria or dead fish some random morning)
This game is so beautiful and wonderful. I mean, it's not really a game, which is probably why I love it so much.
I have learned that I am incapable of having an aquarium irl (oh, all the poor little fishies that got flushed the different times I tried!). So this is just the Best!
There is very little pressure, no fish suddenly floating upside down, no crazy chemical balance to keep up, no predators that need to be kept at bay. (although I do keep checking nervously to make sure no one has died).
The graphics are beautiful. I have it running on my laptop almost all of the time next to my desktop computer, so it's like having Nature right there next to me.
I love that you can either look down into the pond, with all the birds and frogs singing, and rain (you can turn the rain and lightning on or off), or you can go underwater to hang out with your fish and check on them.
The fish are quite realistic, if you ask me. Their eyes look and move in what seems a very naturally fishy way. Sometimes the camera will move a bit (you can also have it slowly rotate, which I really like) but it will sort of bump, and I finally realized it's because one of the fish bumped into it.
Sometimes they are slow and mellow, and sometimes they will go speeding around, especially if they are going after a piece of food.
And when you're underwater, the sounds are appropriately different. And the fish will come and swim up to you sometimes.
There are a few glitches. While the fish will not normally take up the same space as anything else, the water lily stalks are a bit glitchy. The fish will swim through them. And sometimes the fish will get caught and look like they are having seizures, poor little things. This happens usually near the outer edges of the water lilies. And every once in awhile, a big fish and a little fish will sort of get tangled together. The little fish will be pointing straight up and the big fish will be horizontal and they just seem stuck. The way I've found to fix them is to be underwater with them and click on the struggling fish until it swims away.
Overall, if I had a star rating, I'd give this 100 stars. I love having this koi pond on my desk, without the anxiety of actually trying to keep real fish alive in a fish tank or all the icky work of maintaining such things.
Many studies have found that being around nature is super good for you, and I find my koi pond and fish (especially with the lovely nature sounds) meditative and very zen.
This game is so nice and relaxing! It's great to even run in the background and just listen to. You get to name/design your fish as well as your pond. You adjust the sound controls and have it rain! Just don't forget to feed them! (You don't have to check it every day to keep them alive which is also nice). You can even view your fish up close or far away above and inside the pond.
A pet simulator where you get three ponds to keep your cute koi. More of a daily check in and relaxation thing than a game, but DEFINITELY worth it. Watch your fish grow over weeks, they can get various body types and some grow faster than others.
My monster carp Radaway, a neon lime and black potbellied thing, grows 10 times faster than my slowest grower, so the variation is definitely noticeable. She's a mean green eating machine :D
Also good for creating digital versions of your real-life fishes.
these lil fin slappers flop around but you never see them floundering about
Pros:
*Some customization of koy, weather & pond
Cons:
*Nothing to do after making 2 fish except wait
*You cant even choose how many fish to make you have to unlock additional fish spots
*You cant zoom as far as you want so on a small screen the koy all look the same, cant see them well.
*Its expensive considering it offers 0 gameplay
*Fish get stuck so it must be pretty annoying with many fish having to unstuck them so they can eat
I think its false marketing to call this a game, a crappy screensaver is more like it. I dont usually write reviews, i made an exception because i dont think this should be called a game & ppl need to know they are buying a moving picture for 4€. The only thing u can to is make a koi, double click the surface to feed it, single click the surface to make the fish move or to make it unstuck. The rest is waiting, irl. There are far better fish screensavers out there not claiming to be games. I expected there to be slightly more to do than what was shown on store page as no game i know lists every single action possible on the store page, this one does. Unless you are obsessed with koy & have money to waste i wouldnt recommend it, if you want a screensaver buy a better one.
So far this is a wonderfully relaxing game. I love the different ways you can make your pond look and how easy it is to move when looking under the water. The koi designs from what I have unlocked just so far are beautiful and I love the randomization option for each one. I can see many hours ahead going into this one! :)
One fish, Two fish, Red fish, Blue fish,
Black fish, Blue fish, Old fish, New fish.
It's beautiful and calming. I like it very much. Fish are responsive and beautiful. Love that the weather changes from sunny, to light rain, to thunderstorms. Some music floats in and out. The water bubbles and blurps when you're viewing underwater. From above, you hear nature's songs from birds and frogs from a distance. I also love you can customize how your fish looks when you create them. You can also rename them at your whim. I only keep on tank active, but several tanks can be active with different looks. Overall a very relaxing game. Nice to have running in the background.
Intro
Just spent some time to grow some koi, per day
What I like
- It is a chill game
- You dont need to log in so often, just once a week, or as often as you want tho. Idk. i log in during work hours and feed the kois when I am bored
- got it on 50% discount
- name the koi whoever you want (looking at you cherysia)
What I don't like
- you can't rush the koi to grow faster
- hard to get specific colors
Others
Overall, its an interesting game, and quite chill. So, I recommend it if the game is on discount
one of my fish is so big it could be considered a category 5 kaiju
A very relaxing and cute game.
Not really a game, more of a super casual aquarium sim or relaxation aid. There isn't really much to "play" (no breeding, no goals save for unlocking more fish), but designing the fish is pretty cool, and there is quite a lot of variation in colors and patterns.
I check in on them for a few minutes every few days, just for a little breather from life.
This is a very simple, basic game. You start out with only a handful of fish color options but the customization is vast. No two fish will look exactly the same. They swim, you feed them, they swim some more. Fish grow slightly every day. I play about ten minutes a day watching the fish and it helps my stress levels and gives me a moment to myself. I have all three ponds full of fish and my game doesn't struggle running at all, despite my dying computer haha.
If you want a soothing game, that isn't really a game, check this out. I enjoy it
cute, relaxing, and user friendly. 10/10
Very relaxing and doesn't take tons of time out of your day! Just about the same amount of time you'd spend with real fish, and you can leave the fish ponds on your computer screen so you get that nice aquarium effect in you computer room.
Gorgantus
This game is very relaxing with the much customization and environment decorations. Although i will say that there could be more fish, decorations, and shapes and sizes for the fish it is a relaxing game.I would give this a 75/100
sorry, no cloud save. Lost limited availability koi.
Nice graphics
Very nice game, peaceful and addictive to watch them swim around.Absolutely perfect.😃
Best game since Obama was born.
Nice relaxing game with good atmosphere, love the feeling of being around nature especially because it's the middle of winter xD
Very chill game to leave on a second monitor or while you aren't using your computer. The graphics are nice, there are 3 different ponds that have some customization, fish are very customizable, and the fish can't die. There are no complicated mechanics for maintaining water quality or fish health, all you need to do is feed them.
Nice looking and chilling Koi aquarium. Love it.
Excellent grafix. No major bugs so far as i can see.
Thank you the Developer for creating this fantastic game to us! Please add some dragonflies.
This isn't really a game, but just an interactive screensaver. If you are old enough to know what a screensaver is, you remember seeing the old aquarium screensaver with fish on screen. Same thing, but with Koi. Its relaxing.
The Game is good but the Developers aren´t adding new content to the game like new Ponds or new cool Kois.
The graphics are good and the game has no game changing bugs or something like this. There should come new updates and so.
found the game very very boring dont know why i bothered to keep feeding the dam fish
Nice and customable Screensaver.
Relaxing to watch and appealing to see your Kois grow.
For sure it has some flaws... some clipping and collision issues here and there but nothing that's realy annoying or game breaking.
So yeah... I recommend it.
This game cured my anxiety, depression, anger issues, thalassophobia, icthyophobia, chromatophobia, aquaphobia, botanophobia, astraphobia, and made me forget about my real fish who are probably dead by now.
10/10 fish game.
Finally a Koi fish animation that feels real!
It's very relaxing having virtual fish all the fun but none of the water changes or added expenses.
It's Free to play
So Peaceful
So Bliss
So Calm
It's driving me insane!!! Gonna have to play Dead Space to relax afterwards!
11/10 would Koi Again!
Simple and delightful.
Great at reducing stress or anxiety.
An easy recommend.
can you plssssss put new food to koi get bigger
This is basically a screensaver except you can feed the fish. I don't know that I'd call it a game exactly. It's very pretty and easy to play. Sound was nice. I deeply enjoy character creation so having options for the fish was great. I could not get the last fish to unlock even after feeding them everyday, sometimes twice a day for something like 56 days. I'm done with it for now. Maybe in a couple months I'll see if I can reset everything and start from the beginning. Probably wait for a sale if it sounds like your jam.
Not much to say you make koi watch them swim feel at peace, i bought this on sale
and love it.
What's better than this... Fish being fish. :)
The Game is awsome, its a game to relax and chill to. Do the fish breed over time? if not i think that would be a great idea for the game plus randomisation of colour and pattern on the offspring. That would bring some sense of surprise when returning to the game other than just choosing your design, colour and pattern just to feed and raise them up
I wish i could give a neutral review for this, but it's an ok game somewhere between My Koi Pond and Zen Koi, not really much to do besides feed the fish and look at them and wait for new slots to unlock
Cheap, relaxing, and really good for background music.
It's so relaxing! Just feed your koi and watch them grow. Such beautiful colors and patterns you can get.
I enjoy listening to the rain and thunder also.
I’d like to see a dragonfly or two... maybe landing on a reed then taking off again?
