This game has way too many bugs currently where it makes it unplayable to enjoy, my big issue is progressing through the stages, but all of sudden I cannot use any of my attacks or skills sometime during the stage, I'm running around useless for minutes and then it fixes eventually?

Another one is the inability to move with certain abilities when activated-- using certain abilities with WASD do not allow the player to move, but when using mouse move to move the character, the ability works great. This bug happens with the starting 2h ability, "Katana Spin" , HUH?. WASD and Mouse move should do the same thing.. but it doesnt, This game needs to cook more and get some patches before we enjoy it fam.

Also, it needs saving capabilities after you complete a stage but thats me, otherwise fun game, fix the dang bugs-- they hurt my enjoyments

It's an action RPG that lets you choose which line of rewards you can get from each level. You can even switch to another branch at some levels. Playing it feels quite like playing Diablo. I like that you can choose what main weapon you can use, and with each weapon are unique skills. It also lets you choose which stats to improve and which new skills to learn instead of pre-arranged growth rates or skill trees. If you like dungeon crawling and grinding, this is fun.

I recently had the opportunity to play Perseus Titan Slayer, game that impressed me on many levels. The game has come a long way since its prologue, offering an immense amount of content, features, and replayability. One of the game's greatest strengths is the ability to progress through items and skills, allowing players to tailor their characters to their specific play style. Additionally, the game offers diverse branching paths, which means that no two playthroughs will be exactly the same. All of these positives come at a great value, as the game is priced very affordably.

The game's graphics are fantastic, and the attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the game. Furthermore, the game is available in multiple languages, which is an excellent feature for non-native English speakers.

However, the game could benefit from better optimization, as it can be sluggish at times, particularly on lower-end systems. Additionally, the game lacks full controller support, which may be an issue for some players.

Overall, this rogue-like game is a fantastic experience that offers a tremendous amount of content and replayability for an excellent value. While it has its flaws, the game's strengths far outweigh its weaknesses, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a challenging, rewarding, and enjoyable gaming experience.

In short:
7$ - very very worth

Nafaryus Destiny
Nafaryus Destiny

This is a weird game that needs a lot of polish and a little bit of rethinking. But for $7, I feel like it's actually kind of worth it, even if its a bit jank. This game has a chance to carve out its own unique "Diablo-like Rogue-like" thing, but it needs to stop relying so heavily on Hades and Vampire Survivors for mechanics.

The most glaring issue is that the game lacks controller support in any of the menus. You can control your character, but you can't navigate menus or change equipment. Your dash has two charges, but it will only recharge AFTER you use both charges, locking you at 1. Bosses are overtuned in the damage department, dealing absurd amounts of damage from poorly telegraphed attacks. The 3/4 point of view prevents you from seeing very far off the bottom of the screen, and enemies appear there fairly often.

Mechanics are poorly explained (such as the revives system) or overcomplicated (such as the equipment enchantment system). Rather than just charging gold for upgrades, you have to go to the merchant, purchase an upgrade currency, unequip your armor, go to the enchantment menu, then place both your equipment and currency into the window. upgrade it, then return to the equipment menu to equip it. The stats menu could use a summary of your inscriptions, similar to Skul's inscription summaries. The orbs floating around mean something, but I don't know what.

The room and rewards variety is extremely poor. There's a weird food system tacked on that just increases how often i click through menus. The rewards from the gods are pitiful. Most of the numbers on currency, damage, health, and mana need another balancing pass. The permanent upgrades seems borderline worthless, except for an ability upgrade that I assume you unlock after everything else is upgraded. The game isn't very clear on this, though.

Not recommended until the game gets some more updates and support. It has potential, but right now I feel its untapped.

Perseus: Titan Slayer is what you get when you take a latter ascension game in the vein of Slay the Spire or Monster Train and take away the cards and in their place put in a fairly addictive ARPG game. Instead of getting cards as drops you get various loot in way of gear, gems and consumables.

The game while not the prettiest in town is certainly more than serviceable for the asking price and I have yet to run into any problems on my i5-7400, running 16GB Ram, SSD and a 1060 GTX. At this time I haven't attempted to run on the Steam Deck as I have read multiple accounts that it isn't currently working, hopefully that will get resolved. It would also be nice to have the ability to save the game during the progression up the accession rungs in case you need to step away to avoid having to get almost to the final boss and having to exit the game, which I had to do on my first run.

That said the game is still very worth the asking price and I have had a good deal of enjoyment from the two runs that I have had, over roughly two hours. I recommend this game to those that like the rung progression of StS/Moster Train but prefer action role playing game style, as it fits nicely. The game play is fairly bare bones but it have just enough meat on it to be entertaining and to make it well worth the asking price.

In closing I have spent a lot more for a lot less in games, and the game while I have only made it to the final boss once, doesn't appear to have any persistent progression, still appears to have enough mid bosses to kill for achievement hunters to keep you coming back again and again.

I followed the game even when it was raw and the publisher gave a trial period, I want to say that this time went to the benefit of the game, the graphics and sounds became more pleasant, the interface also changed for the better. In general, the developers are great, good luck to them in creating new projects!

there are still not enough content, but I personally hope, that devs will make a lots of content.

T͟h͟i͟n͟g͟s͟ I͟ h͟a͟t͟e͟/C͟o͟n͟s͟/S͟u͟g͟g͟e͟s͟t͟i͟o͟n͟s͟:

Enemies act like they know when u are going to dash and in which direction, so their attack follows u...

No warning when u uncover gems in inscription ( Am I supposed to know that my item is going to be destroyed...? )

Why are there primary and secondary weapon when u have only one weapon? ( and is their purpose only to give random buffs/nerfs...? )

I know this one is stupid, but I hate how arrow on minimap follow mouse pointer, and not player direction!
Instead of enchantment, u should add enhance, because u dont rly enchant the item, u enchance it ( maybe u could add some special effects u gain by enchanting... )

Dragon animations need rework and improvements...

T͟h͟i͟n͟g͟s͟ I͟ l͟o͟v͟e͟/P͟r͟o͟s͟
Nice graphics and gameplay overall...
Animations ( other than dragon animation ) are pretty decent...
If u are into these type of games, I highly suggest u try it ( there is a free demo version ( although its a bit buggy... ))

I will probably continue to play the game, hopping to see future updates soon... ♥

Don't buy this game

This is essentially a mobile game asset flip which shouldn't be paid for; it has less content than some free games out there. Meta progression is incredibly limited, both game modes are essentially the same, final boss is simply annoying (mostly invulnerable with very slim window for DPS). In short, don't bother.

Khanda Warrior
Khanda Warrior

The game feels like it should still be in at the most "early access". The game feels buggy, it can be because I am attempting to use a controller. Although there is partial controller support, I found it annoying that I would have to switch between keyboard and controller. i think i would come back to it if it had full controller support, otherwise its a hard no for me.

Lean Demon
Lean Demon

I liked this more in the demo than the full release. Game feels clunky and I don't understand what the roguelite progression even is. It feels tied to weapon instead of your character, and that's not great since they only give you generic upgrades like starting the running with more gold. Also, the survivors like portion kept having me lock up while trying to attack things. It made it very annoying to navigate.

Perseus Titan Slayer, touted as an epic adventure, fails to live up to its promises and leaves players disappointed with its overall mediocre gameplay and lackluster mechanics. It becomes apparent from the very beginning that this game might have been better suited remaining on the mobile platform it was ported from, making its appearance on larger gaming platforms a questionable decision.

One of the biggest issues with Perseus Titan Slayer is its shallow and uninspired gameplay mechanics. The mechanics lack depth, leaving players feeling unfulfilled and shortchanged for their investment. Moreover, the difficulty curve in Perseus Titan Slayer feels more like a cheap gimmick rather than a well-crafted challenge. As players progress, they encounter tougher enemies with little to no variation in tactics or strategy required.

The winning strategy no matter your choice is as follows:

The build
- Max out on health
- Pick the large red circle skill that does %hp damage.
- Always pick damage amplification in places where you can't get more HP

The play-style
- Spam HP bubble
- Spam Dusa's gaze
- Run around till spells off CD
- Repeat

Overall, Perseus Titan Slayer is a forgettable journey that does not live up to the hype. The game feels like a half-hearted mobile port that fails to deliver on its potential for a deeper and more satisfying gaming experience. Its lack of innovation, repetitive gameplay result in an overall underwhelming adventure that falls flat on almost every front. Save your money for when it's on sale if you really want the Steam achievements.

WishManiac
WishManiac

Is it worth your money?
By the time I'm asking this most of you already know that it probably is not.
This looks and plays like a university assessment project.
First of all, something is not right about the game's performance, as it ramps up the fans in my computer more than playing BF2042 on Ultra. Also, it crashed on me within the first ten minutes of gameplay, taking the browser with it - I had to restart my PC to get it back to full functionality.
When it comes to the game itself: it's boring and feels bad. You can't feel the impact of your hits. Controls are rubbish. Steam says it doesn't support the controller, but it does and even has the option to change between PC and console interface. However, on the controller, it feels like whoever was responsible for that, never played any game on a console. And when it comes to the mouse and keyboard - it's also botched as the left mouse button only lets you run in straight lines.
The translation is machine-made, so huge parts of it are mistranslated and sound atrocious.
Also, the balance of enemies is off as the bosses seem to be weaker than the elite enemies and have a smaller health pool.
I know someone has put some effort into it, but it just isn't worth your time.

“Billion dollar scams are not the only scam, a dollar worth of greed is also crime.”
~Abhijit Naskar

Ah, yes. Didn't get these in quite some time. Since the moment when, you know. Steam started to actually do something 'bout this kind of crap. Long story short – people are greedy bastards. And therefore tend to bring all sorts of scam to Steam. Some kid managed to compile some free engine's basic assets and “Look, mommy! I'm a game developer now!”. A student learned how to use RPG Maker? Yeah, here comes our After Fantasy: Tales of Epicness. Raycasting Game Maker? Sure, why not. Who cares that tons of much better Raycasting “games” are officially free on IndieDB (not a sponsor)? “Reputation”, after all, is just a word. Money, on the other hand, is hardly so. Make something that looks like a real game, put it on Steam and then all that is left for you is to pray for it to survive in store long enough to get pizza for a couple of months. I mean, everybody loves pizza. Right?

Back in the days, soon after Steam Greenlight stopped being a thing, it was a disaster. A complete anarchy. And the more people understood that Steam doesn't mind, the more shameless they became. Still have a lot of that “I spent five minutes in Unity, give me your money!” crap in my library. It sits right besides the Raycasting games that can't even be finished and “FPS” games, in which you shoot infinite waves of default models. Every time people tell me that life is depressing, I show them my scam collection. Because that. That is what's f*cking depressing. Thankfully, though, at some point Steam woke up. Steam's woke now. It cares. Unfortunately to us all, though, the old evil didn't die. It just learned to hide better. It became ninja. A shadow f*cking warrior. And one of such shadowmasters just got my $7.99

Don't blame me, though. Look at the store page. Check out the videos and stuff. It does look like a proper product, right? Sure, sure, the title is painfully generic and instantly makes you think of games like Titan Quest, Loki: Heroes of Mythology and the others. At this point yet another Diablo variant with the mythology motif stinks of a bad taste. But that's actually a trick. A trick to make you expect cheap-ass Titan Quest rip-off. Surprise-surprise, it is not. It's a trap! Ahem, sorry. Admiral Ackbar jokes are a bad taste too. It is, though. A trap. You just finished latest Titan Quest expansion, you're looking for a new game of such kind because you need more “click to kill” stuff in your life, you see this, you assume it to be a thing, you pay a-a-and... Surprise-surprise! You're screwed. Because no, this is not a cheap Diablo variant. It's not even a proper game.

In this... product there's no proper story. Which is fine. Insert John Carmack's quote here. Good game doesn't need a story to be good. Especially when it's about ARPG stuff. The problem is – there's no gameplay either. The whole game is just a series of tiny little maps. Remember “FPS” games I've mentioned above? The ones in which we're supposed to shoot some random models that run at you all at once? That's the stuff. You arrive at the tiny little map and some things begin to attack you. You kill those and Pegasus appears. Pegasus serves as portal to the new map, but don't... ask... me... why... it... is... Pegasus. I'm pretty sure that Perseus and Saint Seiya are not the same person, so, I have absolutely no idea what's the idea behind that. My only guess is that it was the only model they had and they were like “ Well, it's a horse? That... flies? Let's use that.” Sweet Zeus, what I'm I doing with my life... To summarize things – tiny map with nothing on it. Except enemies that run at you all at once. Kill 'em all. Talk with Pegasus. Repeat until “you have completed the game” will appear. The end.

That's it. That's the entire game. No quests. No classes (the only choice you have here is which weapon to pick up at the beginning of the run). No even NPCs, aside from trader that spawns near Pegasus (which won't even buy anything from you) and some other dude. It's just you, a tiny empty map and some monsters. Which, like I already mentioned, don't even have “brains”. I can mention some other things, like the fact that healing system here is done in Path of Exile way, controls are totally messed up and, most likely, will make you want both the gamepad and keyboard in order to make things somewhat tolerable, and a couple of modifiers you'll unlock by finishing game with default settings (finish the game on default difficulty, unlock the higher one, you know the drill), but what's the point? This game is an obvious scam and the only thing I wish here is for Steam to go all Liam Neeson on it. You know. To look for it, to find it, and to kill it. With fire.

Unfortunately, there's a very big chance this game will survive. Like I said, after Steam started to actively remove scam from their store, this kind of crap learned how to survive. Racing Bros are still doing fine, aren't they? And those are, like, kings of the scam. The key of their success is to make their games to look somewhat decent. It doesn't matter that the whole thing is just a quickly generated map with some basic assets on it. It looks as a thing? It counts as a thing. Same here. Perseus: Titan Slayer has only a few models in it, but those look totally fine and therefore when you look at it? You don't expect the worst. Yet it is. The worst. The very worst out there. You have been warned.

Interesting game. Random generated rogue like levels, that have 3 or 4 stages of bosses, and final boss, when you finish the game, you have harder challenges and harder enemies.
Only downside, very very short game and very easy first like map, all bosses and stages are very easy, only challenging is last boss, i beat the game in like 3h.
I think there is a story, but did not listen ahaaha.
But yea i enjoy it. If you got the game on sale like me, for like 2$ its worth it, if you like rogue like games with random generated maps.

DoubleCoolBeans

Meh. Does not feel that great to play. Combat feels clunky, enemies seem to spawn way off screen so you end up having to run them down which makes the pacing feel awkward. For 3 or so dollars you get what you pay for I suppose. But i would recommend games like Brotato, Halls of Torment, Just King etc over this for about the same price.

Developers that release a game and leave it in a state that is unfinished, unrefined, and unplayable should not expect anyone to purchase any other products that they release. I will not ever purchase anything else from this developer until they finish what they start.

I am a supporter of Early Access for development and one that gets irritated at negative reviews for games that are in Early Access. But this game should never have been released out of development.

I award the developers no points, and may God have mercy on their souls.

Nice graphics, nice models, borrible controlls , why don't you just make a full gamepad control scheme, I can still use the mouse and need to move right analog in the dirrection of enemies in the middle of the fight ,on steam decks works great but it's really confusing, I got this for a sale £2 , in this phase that's the best price, doesn't worth more

It's short. Like, 4$ short. It has a room system like Isaac/Slay the Spire, but you won't feel as powerful as you can get in those games because the single map is all you have.

A decent Action-Rougelike game. The graphics are decent just need a bit more polishing for char n mobs. The combat system is fine. Also it would be nice to add an option to see the total health and mana so we can know how much health/mana we have and not to guess it.
Also adding a detail separate tutorial would be nice as well for a bit detail explanation, like im not able to understand of some item working ( like if its a equip able or the buff is active even not equipped )

The story in Perseus: Titan Slayer is uncomplicated. Chaos in the form of a huge dragon conceived the whole world to turn into oblivion, from which the universe appeared. Naturally, the Olympians are not satisfied with this matter at all and they turn to Perseus for help. That's the plot plot.

Perseus: Titan Slayer is a fast-paced, hack n slash game set in ancient Greece

GAMEPLAY
The game takes inspiration from Diablo and Slay the Spire to create a thrilling experience for the player. The game is fun and easy to pick up. The combat system is fluid and responsive, making it satisfying when taking down enemies. The game also offers a wide variety of weapons, abilities and equipment to choose from. Each with the option to be upgraded to become stronger.

The game flow is simple yet effective. Similar to Slay the Spire, the player has to choose a path which contains a series of rooms that each offer different rewards. There are also boss rooms which are much more challenging and put the player's skill to the test.

VISUALS
The visuals are one of the main selling points. The graphics, lighting and special effects are well-polished and look stunning. The environmental design is detailed and captures the feel of ancient Greece. The animations are also fluid and do not feel clunky.

PROBLEMS
While I enjoyed the game, there are a few slight issues that I've encountered.

There is a spike in difficulty in the middle of a run, where the enemies suddenly deal significantly more damage than in the previous room. This was quite a surprise and it forces me to spend my upgrades on health/mana potions so that I can survive the subsequent rooms.

Another issue I had was I feel like the initial lobby (where the player first spawned) was too big and I was confused about where to go and what to do. I would have preferred a more linear tutorial system where I could quickly test out my controls and attacks before heading into the main game.

OVERALL
My overall impression of the game is positive and it is shown that the developers have put a lot of thought into the game. Although the game could use a bit more polishing, I think it is well worth the price. If you're looking for a Diablo-like game set in ancient Greece, give this game a try.

Awesome roguelike. Much less complex than Hades but so much better controls for kb+mouse. Game still needs to be optimized a little bit, and it's a little bit light and short in terms of content, but it's definitely a very fun little game to play when you want to zone out and just kill stuff and have a good time. Developer is also very active in maintaining the game (4 hotfixes/patches within just 2 weeks of release).

I followed the game even when it was raw and the publisher gave a trial period, I want to say that this time went to the benefit of the game, the graphics and sounds became more pleasant, the interface also changed for the better. In general, the developers are great, good luck to them in creating new projects!

I don't know how it is worse than the demo. I don't know how it got worse with a patch. Stay away.
The controls are basic and bad. Your character is incapable of walking any direction other than forward so you have to stop and turn to aim your abilities. The amount of firenadoes that went in a random direction is too high. The mouse controls are so dumb. You can't run backwards but can basic attack backwards. You can basic attack in any direction but no special abilities. They fire the direction your facing.
The shard upgrades are completely uninspired and lame. The stat boosts throughout the game don't work on some, but are seemingly uncapped on others.
There is no bug list or known issues. No where to find workarounds.
The character design is so weird. Like wtf is with the bird riding shop keeper and why are they all the same?
The choose your adventure mode is stupid and the item drops are lame. Equipped items don't effect the character model and like stated before some stats will cap and others wont.
The ability balance is terrible making only a couple combos viable.
The gameplay in the slay the spire mode is a slog and repetitive in all the worst ways. As stated before your next run will be with +5% defense which will do absolute nothing.
Using the excuse roguelike to brush off terrible mechanics is cute, but the dev's response to criticism is good.
Wait on this one folks. If it sours early then it's hard to get the desire to pick it up again.

Recomended. game is really fun. just to chill. I personally like brutal visual of game. awesome!
there are still not enough content, but I personally hope, that devs will make a lots of content.
and there are a lot of bugs. no balance. but game costs okey, thats why issues that this game has are ok.

TL:DR Hades on Easy mode with Ascensions. A great indie title and good start for beginners of the rouge-like genre

I was a bit skeptical of the game from the devs previous games being those stereotypical simulator games that have become a trend as of late, but DO NOT sleep on this game. The demo was out for a short period of time so i never got to play it and instead went for the full game. This game seems to take heavy inspiration from Hades, with greek gods, rouge-like mechanics and gameplay, fully voiced dialogue and lines, Top down camera and a neat storyline to follow. For $8 this game is a steal and a blast to play. I really enjoy the cell shaded art design and satisfying loot, upgrades, and skill tree.

This is not a full release game, it's just too rough in its current state. Could tell from the first 30 seconds in the settings menu where some toggle settings use a slider. Game play is okay but buggy in a way that feels really bad. The whole game is about movement and ability usage, but sometimes if you're holding a direction to move and press an ability, your character will stop moving until you release and re-press whatever movement key(s) you have held. Also happens when you pick up items on the floor. The entire HUD UI is unashamedly ripped from PoE. I couldn't bring myself to play for very long so I won't speak towards item and ability balance and ability feel, but of the abilities I did come across they felt uninspired at best. Game just feels rushed.

Don't buy this game

This is essentially a mobile game asset flip which shouldn't be paid for; it has less content than some free games out there. Meta progression is incredibly limited, both game modes are essentially the same, final boss is simply annoying (mostly invulnerable with very slim window for DPS). In short, don't bother.

game is good, needs some polish but its good for the price.
Played on controller, it needs more customization and support.
It says partial controller support which is true, i needed controller, keyboard and mouse to play properly.
Leveling up skills with mouse disabled skills on controller, so i had to use "esc" button on keyboard to go to the menu and then "resume" mouse click. After that my skills on controller worked. Idk if this is just my problem.
I didn't play much but i like the customization and upgrades. Hoping for some updates on the controller part.
Game is similar to Hades, it offers replayability and has the potential to be a solid game. 7/10

This game is just....weird?
I get what the game is or at least what it's trying to do. Once I accepted that this wasn't a Diablo-like game I was able to enjoy it I guess.
It really needs some serious work to polish up the game.
I don't not like this game but I also don't like this game. For a game that is less than $10 it isn't a bad deal for what it is. I will probably play around with it some more but it does need some serious polishing.

Game was fun for a tiny amount of time. But between the awkward paragon assets and the clunkyness. Gonna heavily give this one a pass. Also been a while since their last patch so game might just be dead already. Compared to vampire survivors the pricetag just isn't worth it

All these grapes inside my head
All these grap…

I liked this more in the demo than the full release. Game feels clunky and I don't understand what the roguelite progression even is. It feels tied to weapon instead of your character, and that's not great since they only give you generic upgrades like starting the running with more gold. Also, the survivors like portion kept having me lock up while trying to attack things. It made it very annoying to navigate.

Fun game. It's like vampire survivors met diablo/titan quest. Still lacking on content and a bit on the buggy side though like enemies not moving, weapon/gears/items disappearing, or bosses getting stuck, but I'm expecting this will eventually get fixed. It's a fun cheap game and I did enjoy it so thumbs up and hoping for more content in the future.

If you ever wanted to play a cheap knockoff of Titan Quest with even fewer mechanics and even less depth, but also wanted to play an early access roguelike that the dev abandoned in pre-alpha, then this is the game for you. I cannot tell what this game's budget was or where it was spent. The voice acting is surprisingly great but the writing itself is abysmal. The quality of particle effects, models, and animations is essentially random. No updates in 4 months despite the blatantly unfinished state smacks of abandonware.

If you really like classic ARPGs and are willing to chance $5, there are worse ways to spend time and money.
