Brilliant game and i love the detail and research that has gone into it to make this as true an experience as possible.

This game was interesting until they had a major update.. Now you can get conduct points for driving too fast, or putting your sirens on. Its like micro managing your game to make sure you adhere to the rules of the game. I play these games to have fun.. not be micromanaged by rules. Stuff like this bums me out. Sure Cops are supposed to follow the law, but the fun of these games are to be the police and do as you want to have fun. Also why make up fake laws, just use the standards that are used in the US. Its obvious we are in the US.

Would be nice if there was more of a story; organized crime, or something that provides a little more action. Maybe a SWAT expansion, hostage situations. Or maybe undercover operations, to build larger cases. Or promotion to be an investigator, rather than just general small criminal infractions. This is a fun game so far, but I feel the game has much more potential. I look forward to see what updates or additions to the game come about. Police simulator 2 maybe?

I would rather play flashing lights.... this is more like ticket writing simulator. NOT ONE TIME have I used my gun....

So far in the two days i have played i have enjoyed the ammount of content this game has to offer. There are some bugs i keep seeing i'd like to report in case nobody else has yet. One is that when the ID is clearly expired and you do something about it, the game doesnt realize it is expired yet. Another is that there's no way to move cars when there's an accident so there's almost always a line down the block because of the accident. Let us call for backup to help manage this or make the NPC's be like real life people and go around the accident instead of crashing straight into it please. Very fun game!

Maybe author can add more vehicles such as motorcycle and others maybe a armed car, and also add a AI police to support us while we perform tasks. Then, maybe creator can also add more mode like escort mode and others like chasing the thief's car and also can shootout with suspect hahaha

It’s like NYC but it isn’t that great, you don’t get to do whatever you want and it’s so difficult to use some of the equipment

And that it takes so long just to get a car

Not recommend if u are a whatever you want player

fun game, needs more depth when it comes to tasks. They get repetitive very fast. would like to continue to play as it reminds me of old games i loved in the past. and gives me the opportunity to be a cop. fun to try with other games where you are at odds with police.

There are a few bugs here and there. Overall I love the game. The biggest con for me is the traffic behavior when you pull a car over as it often leaves you blocking traffic and the ai will not go around you.

READ THIS BEFORE BUYING!

This game has a nice environment and good graphics and a decent gameplay. Tho the only reason I picked Yes is because of the work put in this game for an Early Access.

This game is barely playable at the level it is at, it has several events and different things you can do. It has a good design in the interaction, the missions are nice, it is not the game where you will have a lot of fun, but with a good teammate everything is possible. despite this, the game is at a very early stage and has a long future ahead of it. in basic design, planning, detailing, finishing. there are too many bugs to the point where it becomes annoying, the suspects disappear in the graphics, cars glitching and are thrown from here and there, they disappear, when you drive you can pass through pedestrians, the traffic system has serious issues and chaos reigns. I believe that the game will be upgraded because it has a smart design and it is a shame that it remains like this. I don't regret buying it and I will continue playing. But honestly at the moment I can't say I'm happy with it. If you like police simulator and don't have money to spend, I'm sure you have GTA V so go download LSPDFR, and give this game some more time to grow.
As I said before, I liked this game and I believe in it's future, I hope devs won't dissapoint us and make this work. If you have some spare money and scrolling like a fckin idiot on the steam store, give this game a try.

It's hard to recommend this game to just anyone. And so while I do recommend it because I think it has lot of potential, and is kind of fun right now, you should read what this game does and doesn't have.

This game has:
[-] Pulling over people
[-] Writing tickers
[-] fleeing on foot suspects
[-] Arresting people
[-] A functional tazer and gun
[-] Progression (not ranks, but unlocking stuff)

It also has some other things that some may or may not like such as a little bit of repetition and also restricted areas in the sense that you are not meant to go beyond an area during a shift.

What this game does not have (and some of which will not be included in the game as stated in the Trello):
[-] Vehicle pursuits
[-] Other police patroling (Trello states not going to implemented)
[-] Any legitmate use of your gun such as a gun fight, or suspect carrying a weapon
[-] Functional buses (also will not implemented at least in the foreseeable future)
[-] Large multiplayer (only 2 player COOP)
[-] Ability to act as a civilian (will not be implemented) in the way of owning a car and a home.

There are also other missing stuff in this game, but those will be implemented at some point according to the developers. So if you want the action of a vehicle pursuit, or a gun fight, you're better off playing GTA 5 with the LSPD:FR mod. If you're okay with what's currently listed, then definitely consider purchasing this game.

definite buy, i bought this game in early acces and it was already amazing.
u can manage difrent accidents or reports but also manage the minor things like lithering and jaywalking, there are loads of options.
super fun game to play to relax or when u just wanna play alone.
the possibilities are endless.

Could use more dialog and traffic could be optimized plus it gets a bit repetitive but other than that its fun and hope to see more content coming.

I got 5 hours in, don't regret those 5 hours, but doubt I'll play any more. It's more advanced than LSPDFR but it's too tame. When you go to a assault crime scene for example, the assault has already occurred and your job is to find the suspect (who is never armed or anything).

LSPDFR had it right with being about 50/50 action (Police chases, robberies, shootouts) and normal stuff (Speeding, tickets, etc.)

If the game had some action-y bits to even it out then I'd recommend it. If you're into just doing normal police work (accidents, tickets, patrol, etc.) then it's a good game. But I want some action too (50/50) to spice things up.

this is a really good, realistic game that shows a progression of complexity. it does however require a LOT of processing power so those on basic machines (not gaming PC's or those with low CPU/ RAM might want to upgrade their system to ensure seem-less game play

Excellent gameplay; runs horrificly

Well, really awesome gameplay, but wow. I've played alike 4.5hrs total, and had 5 freezes. (this must have been a windows update issue or something because it was only the first day)

Playing at the default settings, Ultra for me. More than ample system, 3080Ti, 10900k, 32Gb ram, NvME storage, gigabit internet. Yet, when going into first person in the car, it's basically a slideshow while using 25% of my GPU power. Unacceptable, even for early access.

UPDATE: I really do want to change this to positive. But there are some rally big flaws, that don't make any sense to have not been hotfixed at least. Wasn't there a recent update? Anyhow, sometimes you can't escort your prosioner to the cells - you get stuck. Nothing breaks you free. This sucks because you can get even more points and bonuses for doing so.

There's some kind of 'water on the screen" filter that makes the game look absolutely horrific. With all these other options, why isn't there one to turn that gross shit off?

Twice now, my shift has been ruined due to some random car slamming into me and destroying my car.

Accidents pay well, but are ALWAYS at an intersection, where you literally can't do anything to manage the traffic despite there being all these tools encouraging you to do so! IT's infuriating. Then they show up s fast, that even if you could, you can't get them to back up or turn around.

Ambulances get stuck on absolutely nothing when responding to an accident... and their sirens scream at you non-stop.

Robbery/Assault suck because you don't have the time you need to handle the scene. You need to go where the suspect is immediately after that very first person you interview who always happens to know the full name of the criminal tells you about them. If you don't, chances are great they just don't spawn or spawn and are gone.

That's just the few off the top of my head - yet the devs are releasing the full game in less than a month? I don't see why so many games do this these days. It's a bad idea, tbh.

Will change when, and if, the performance is ever ironed out and it's stable enough to actually play. But, Unreal engine, so I doubt that day will come tbh.

This game serves a good purpose for those interested in how the law works when it comes to being a patrol officer. It can use a bit more tweaking for example walking in traffic the cars did not run me over they simply went through me as if I am a ghost.

Great game still in early access so has few bugs but overall its a great game can't wait to see more people enjoy this game on consoles i hope the port will be inclusive.I love the use of mods in this especially a Met police mod to do it like in my area in the UK.

RufusMacDufus
RufusMacDufus

The game is still very buggy, dumb drivers just not moving, clipping, ambulances, pick up trucks get stuck in traffic, meaning you cant clear the accidents, fairly clunky interface for hand gestures tools etc. Gameplay becomes a grind fairly quickly, driving mechanics weak. Just feels like this game has a long way to go before it could be considered a finished product. I think its a good idea but a lot of work still to do. I see the devs saying they are planning to leave early access in the next few months but it seems too soon. Hope they stick with it though as it could be a fun game with more work.

Love the game! cant wait to see actual gun play. with the way the game is set up it will be interesting. Game does feel a little too safe, no high speed chases, no shootings, you kinda question why they give you a gun at all lol

was on my shift. saw a black man, average build, average height. individual was acting sus. I detained him. ID was in order, but he was black so I frisked him. found marijuana on the african-american individual (not surprised). the individual was agitated and said the weed was not his, at which point i pull out my service pistol, a glock 22 (i asked for a S&W, but it was declined) and shoot him in the face. and then i was fired for police brutality or whatever. totally unrealistic.

Nefaroxx
Nefaroxx

Game is fun and has so much potential do be the best police simulator.
I have to mention a few points that i do not quite like.

1. manage minor or major accidents. I feel on some occasions when the accident blocks all lanes vehicles cannot pass of course causing traffic. Even if I put cones to guide traffic trough incoming traffic lanes they will not and i cannot command them to move there or there so they get stuck until cars are removed. But since the wreckers cannot pass due to traffic it wont happen I know if you finish and give accidents reports it will clear out but it does break the immersion.

2. No gunfights or reasons to use guns.
I know it's still early access and they might add something and I know that perhaps most cops barely ever pull out service gun in Real life. The fact is its a lot more fun to have this implemented to spice things up.

3.being able to access or enter stores and buildings I feel this will add to the immersion

I can't understand the other reviews saying this is "good." This is a shitty buggy mess and most of the advertised features don't work correctly. It isn't even fun--just shitty copaganda where you do mundane police work and pretend that cops are positive influences on their communities (lol).

This game fun and cool. I know this is still early access and some issues l noticed need to be patched and addressed. The car needs to control and handle better. I changed the buttons to the arrow keys. I don't like to use ASDW to drive the cop car. There needs to be better instructions on how to control traffic. It says to press R, I do and nothin' happens. It tells you what to do but not how to. Sometimes people disappear, their mouth is off sync with the voice. The cop cars gets damaged too much way too easily. The dialog is way too repetitive. all the characters sound and look the same. I know the improvements will be made since this is trial play. I also think there should be an option for a to-do checklist when conducting an accident investigation. I will the cops weren't pre-made and named. I would like to customize the looks and features of the officer I played. There needs to be a mini map and a directional guide to a destination. This game is worth the price and shouldn't cost anymore than it is. Anytime a tow truck or police escort van shows up next to me the driver and/or car will disappear. I couldn't bust or ticket them for their illegal activity or items.

One of a kind police simulator, has very good and fun ideas in it. The problem is, this game needs a lot development, unfortunately it's very buggy. For example a minor accident can cause a massive traffic jam which you can't handle by yourself; AI can also be very problematic. Anyway all the problems will be solved for sure, it's still an early access game, all is acceptable. This game has a lot of potential and it need some action and dangers for sure. We should be able to use our gun, there should be dangerous criminals who fights back. I'm not suggesting a "GTA like game from the perspective of a police", it's a simulation game of course; just saying that some shootouts would be very fun.

The game shows a lot of promise. Once all of the bugs and squashed and the base optimized, this is the PERFECT platform for deep mods.

An0nym0usHkr

I would Highly recommend this game, to anyone looking for a police simulator.

Pros:
1. Game is always being improved constantly, even for Early Access
2. Game is challenging if you run realistic play
3. A lot of good workshop skins/customization to the game
4. Not stuck just answering calls, you can just ignore or decline with no penalty and explore / do your own thing
5. Game has a great in-game handbook, to help you with arrests or figure out what laws are being broken, and what each crimes
penalty is

Cons:
1. NPC Dialog does get a little repetitive - however in the patch prior to 1.7 they have updated / added a little more dialog
2. When it comes to intersections and Red Lights, when you are making a turn, depending on the degree of the turn you
will lose CP for "running a red light" if you cut to far
3. Civilians that are drunk in public, may not be stopped, unless they have a bottle in their hand, when it is clear they are
drunk, you will lose CP for this.
4. "Crime" in the game is very passive, Aggravated assault / robbery already happens and you respond and take statements, and
find the perp.

There are plenty more Pros and Cons that can be made, like all games. The Cons i have listed above can easily be fixed in the next patch or before the game is fully released, do not let these discourage you from playing.

If developers are reading, I would like to propose the following if not already considered:
1. A new section in/around the map for highway patrolling
2. Explore a little more into the "Crime" as described in the Cons, so there is a little more action (ex. Wallet Theft) happening in
front of the player
3. Maybe have more NPC officer interactions outside of Transporting (ex. Officer NPC cruisers having someone pulled over, or
responded to a crime scene with you, Basically more of a police presence instead of just being you.

These are just my thoughts and opinions, coming from 62 hrs of game play and exploration, I will say this the game is not fully polished or completed, but I am more than happy to say that this team of developers can def. get the job done and make this game amazing. There is so much potential and work that can be done to really make this game stand out even more than what it is right now.

It's a great game to play with your friend, some of the traffic stops are strange two times i have stopped someone and checked there ID and it say that they are F but really M and i charged them for fake ID and i loose points, might be me not knowing what I'm doing or a bug.

when doing large traffic stops it tends to get buggy AKA the cars start to crash and bug out the AI needs an overhaul, when trying to pull over cars with the hand held thing that's hard the car will pull over 2 blocks away from you so you need to run after it even though there is all the space in the world where you tried to pull them over at first.

It's still a great game even with all the bugs can't wait for DLC and new stuff, I've just unlocked the 8h shift which I will be trying on my next day I think that would be so fun to play with my friend, also need to add that they need to add servers because my friend keeps bugging out the game and loosing there points.

Patrol Officers hits that perfect mark for a simulator game of being engaging enough to be entertaining, while also being straight forward enough enough to provide an accessible experience. It has a very passive, sanitised take on what it's like to be a police officer. That allows the player to relax, ticket a few badly parked cars, pull over drunk drivers, and catch the odd purse snatcher.

But beyond that core gameplay loop things do start falling a little flat. Most noticeably due to how buggy the game is, but there's also a plethora of key features that on't quite work right, a lack of features to keep things varied, and an overall complete lack of polish. All things you could expect with an Early Access game. However the game is set to leave early access very shortly, and in the announcement of version 1.0 the biggest new feature mentioned is a single new patrol car, that will have to be paid for by players who get the game after leaving Early Access. It's not the sort of move that fills me with faith that bugs will be fixed, features will be added, and the experience will be improved.

Overall, Police Simulator: Patrol Officers is a fun but shallow experience. Good for a few hours. But that all comes from the engaging core concept. For anything more a lot of improvements are needed. Deeper, less passive features need to be added. And for me personally the developers need to start embracing some of the less sunshine and rainbows aspects of being a police officer. I know that's a difficult thing to ask, and I agree the game doesn't need high tension unrealistic shootouts on every shift. But right now, you get a notification for an armed wanted suspect, and it means nothing.

"Stop your under arrest, for an open warrant... oh look you have a gun, naughty naughty, you know you need a permit for that. Anyway get in the squad car"

There's no tension or danger. No tough choices. The most a perp can do is run. And if they do just stun them with the stun gun. Again, I know its a tough thing for the developers to address. And the game does and should focus on the smoother, ticketing parked cars and warning drivers because they're exhaust pipe is smoking. But, the game is screaming out for that occasional edge that makes you appreciate when things just go right.

I have played this game at this point for 20 or so hours. I've enjoyed playing it alone, but definitely had fun playing it with others. It updates frequently and gets better and better the more time goes by. I will say this much... Don't trust friends playing with you in this game. My first multiplayer experience was getting shot within 30 seconds of my friend loggin....wait...Is that an upside down car driving down the street? Yeah... there will be glitches. But that just makes it more fun. Also that one time a random Caucasian Female at an accident scene handed me the drivers licence of an Asian man... Priceless.

Very fun and well made game where you start from minor task and progress in more harder cases. Started with casual mode but after I did some shifts and got more into the game I switched to simulator mode, which is a lot more fun as you actually need to do the spotting your self and the game doesn't pinpoint the violations for you. Some minor issues as it's in early access but nothing game breaking. Strongly recommended.

Been playing the game for a bit and it is a fun game!
However, there are still so many bugs and the AI is quite bad as well.
Cars and NPC's will get stuck at times meaning you can't complete things.
Other times a car hits you and you get flung off the map.
Tow trucks won't always be able to reach an accident even if the road is clear as day.
I can recommend the game as it is fun to play as long as you can live with the bugs and the occasional restart when big bugs happen.

Saw Jeff Favignano play this on YouTube, and I was like "Wow, I have to try this," I purchased it in Early Access, and I currently play on the Beta Release Version. I love this game, and hopefully in the future, violent/combative suspects will be added, as well as dangerous calls, which would justify an officer to use their firearm (I don't know if there already are, haven't played in a bit). I would also like to see an AI Backup system, but having played other games, AI can be finicky.

I live in Massachusetts and I am convinced some Boston area police officers made this game lol. Its very realistic (police procedure and work wise) and it is fun to play. This is a true police simulator in the aspect that its not just guns, tactics and shooting. Ive yet to pull my weapon in this game. Remember, this is an early access game. More is sure to come and i can not wait to see what they have in store. Overall it is a very very fun game for those that enjoy law enforcement. If you are looking for a Call of Duty, or Mad Max type game, this is not quite what youre looking for.

This game reminds me of GTA V but you are the police with actual rules to follow and enforce. I say to all new players, keep the settings set to "Casual". that way you wont get penalized for not using turn signal, running red lights, using the siren too much, ect. IF you want the full experience, turn off casual mode and go all in. After playing for a while, there is never a shortage of calls to answer (if you choose to, declining calls causes no punishments or loss of points) and there are always cars to stop, drug deals to squash, wallet theves to taze and arrest, there is always something going on to do.

Enjoying the game so far. Still has a few rough edges but that is to be expected with early access games. Also not worthy I have this running on my Steam Deck with no issues other than what you might see in the game on PC.

I enjoy the game; I also appreciate that the developers are making constant updates and taking in recommendations for the game as well. I would like to see "Driving without Insurance" be a misdemeanor asusual in the United States... which is an arrest-able offense. Also, "Stacking Charges".

Takes forever for you to actually get to a point in the game where you have unlocked enough to have the little fun that is available in this shit game. The graphics, movement, physics and driving is awful, you're basically playing ticket simulator and it blows my mind how people enjoy this,
Don't know how this has so many positive reviews.

Don't buy this game!

great game. the only thing so far i am not liking is the map view while in vehicle mode in first person. a big help would be to mark the roads with speed zones on the officers map so we have better knowledge.

pretty good game so far. little buggy but to be expected. i have actually been wanting a game just like this for a long time. i do wish there was a rare chance that people open fire on you and you have to defend yourself.

Good concept of a game. Just needs overall higher quality of graphics, better vehicle handling, when you stop a vehicle it rarley ever pulls to the side of the road it just stops where it is. The dates on the Insurance and IDs do not seem to matter (you actually have to pull up the computer to see if its expired or not). Needs more citable violations, and also should be able to use speed detection while in a vehicle. Also your shift ends if you crash your vehicle too many times, You should just be able to call a pick up back to the precint to get another vehicle. And voice chat for multiplayer is just a must.

Some things that i would like to be added|:
More vehicles
k-9s
wider patrol area (ik in real life they stick to routes but in a game it just make it more interesting to be able to go anywhere)
voice chat for multiplayer
more callouts

i love the idea and concept of this game, however being punished for driving too fast and running red lights etc. while your supposed to be heading to major accidents and robberies, and then failing said missions because your "taking too much time to get there" is so frustrating and just downright annoying i cant recommend it. i mean are you a cop or a civilian? do the devs know that cops are allowed to drive fast and run reds when responding to calls? its just stupid. also the driving mechanics are way clunky and the maps constantly show markers that send you to the wrong locations. filled with bugs and glitches. but it does scratch an itch somewhat and if they ever fix these things i will for sure keep playing it but not until then.

The best police simulator I've played in my opinion, its not as fully featured as you can make LSPDFR when you mod it, but Police Simulator: Patrol Officers is way less hassle to play. At the time of writing this review a year after the game first came out in early access PS:PO is a pretty good and enjoyable game the way it is and it has loads of potential and I like the way it is headed, but there is still a lot missing such as, callouts you would expect in a police game like vehicle pursuits or shootouts, building interiors you can enter such as banks or houses during callouts such as a robbery, NPCs riding bikes as well as driving semi-trucks and buses (passengers on the bus could just be non-interactable props and you would interact with the bus driver the same way you would when you pull over any other vehicle idk thats just my idea), suspects who actually fight back by attacking you with a gun or knife or just their fists along with an entire health-point system to somehow indicate the damage you and the NPCs are taking, freeways or highways to bypass traffic, police backup not just for transporting suspects but for traffic stops and pursuits- it happens when multiple suspects are running away from me when drug deals take place I can only catch one of them while the other escapes all the time, eventually backup to deal with aggressive individuals, it feels like I'm the only cop in the whole city it would be nice to see fellow officers patrolling around on foot and in patrol cars who could also act as backup if they are in the area, dead people you can call a coroner to take away, a court system like LSPDFR where you can see the results of court hearings of people you arrest or ticket afterwards showing if they were found guilty or not and how much time they get in the slammer and/or how much money they were fined, passenger(s) in vehicles you can interact with the same as the driver, as well as children npcs possibly??? whom you cannot interact with the same as you would with adult npcs but you would see walk around and say hello, a first-person view when you're on foot and also regarding first person view in the patrol car on most graphics except ultra the speedometer is blurry so there should be the option to view the speedometer hud in first person as well.

If they do add situations where you or others are being attacked and you need to use your gun, they will really need to loosen the gun restrictions in those dangerous situation because right now you can't even shoot a car without ending your shift by being fired and your shift can't be ended in the middle of a gunfight because you accidently shot someone's car nor do I think the department would think you're reckless enough to be fired; even though it is an immediate game over if you do shoot someone (the ragdoll physics are hilarious) I imagine when they do add gunfights the npcs wont flop into the air if you shoot them in the leg nor will they die and they'll add damage mechanics with bodily injuries such as not being able to walk if you shoot suspects in the leg as well as causing the suspect to become unconscious or die when you shoot them in the head. Also I'm not saying that vehicles need to blow up or anything since this is strictly a police simulator, but Michael Bay would be disappointed with the lack of explosions in this game. Also I've noticed there is a lack of variation in the game's open world it would be nice to see suburbs and rural areas outside of Brighton city limits and for being a coastal city based off of Boston there sure is a lack of oceans or any sort of water for that matter, no matter what city you go to in real life there are at least some rivers or streams, but in Brighton there are absolutely no waterways whatsoever, the entire city is just a concrete jungle everywhere you go. The controls are kind of rigid and basic compared to a game like GTA V, you can't jump or crouch or do anything besides running or walking, when driving there is no ABS when braking surprisingly so my cruiser always loses control when I'm responding code 3 to a callout and I end up colliding with other vehicles very often, and when I'm chasing after a suspect my character and the suspect are running the same speed I think it would be better if instead of just toggling between walking and running you could also sprint by holding down shift on keyboard or tapping a button on controllers, maybe with a stamina bar that depletes while sprinting.

Some problems I have with the game is there being no way to turn off subtitles that I'm aware of so I'm not seeing someone a mile away saying their wallet was stolen. Speaking of which the wallet thefts that happen are somewhat broken, the victims seem to not be able to tell that a police officer is right in front of them chasing down the thief and they keep asking for someone to call 911 which is frankly quite insulting to me being that I am a police officer and all lol, and the victims seem to a have a very short attention span when I'm chasing the suspect if I don't get their wallet back to them within a minute they decide to go file a report at the police station and sometimes I'm chasing the thief one or two city blocks before I finally catch up to them or taze them and by the time I arrest them and take them into custody the victim is long gone, it should at least give me more than a minute to catch the thief and return the victim's wallet. I had someone once steal someone else's wallet inside of the police station right in front of me but that doesn't seem to be happening anymore xD though wallet thefts are still quite frequent to the point where I'm dealing with an accident and someone's wallet is being stolen nearby, wallet thefts or any other crimes for that matter should not occur when I'm in the middle of a callout searching for a wanted suspect or taking care of a car accident or at least it should be way less frequent. In the last few updates to the game they added new dialogue in the form of subtitles but some of the dialogue has no voiceover and I notice when I escort prisoners into a jail cell the officer's voiceline will just cut out halfway through what he's saying, I'm guessing whenever the game comes out of early access with the full release these things will be more polished and voiceovers will be added for all the dialogue. I like the features and improvements the recently released traffic management update added, it seemed to fix the constant crashing on my pc, but I feel an important traffic gesture that was not added is the ability to command vehicles to change lanes; this was an issue before but vehicle accidents happen frequently when I'm patrolling so they should maybe they should occur less and sometimes accidents occur closely to an intersection where I can't place cones or barriers when I just want to close off the whole section of road. The integration with the Steam workshop is seemingly flawless, it makes it way less complicated than LSPDFR to change police car skins, if they add the ability for modders to create callouts and vehicle models the possibilities would be endless.

Lastly, on a less important note, I don't know if this will happen when the game leaves early access but I think the game's name should be shortened to "Police Simulator" or just "Patrol Officers" being I haven't seen any other police simulator game just named Police Simulator, which would be a simpler yet better name for this game and more suiting if this were to become the most fully-featured police video game out there.

If you're danish and want to live out your Anna Pihl fantasy, this is it. I spent 3 hours handing out parking tickets and managed to not get beaten up by a tall, well-endowed, blonde woman.

Very entertaining, I didn't expect it to be this fun. And I was very surprised to see how fun it is in multiplayer. With that said, it is early access and sometimes it's very obvious. There's a few minor bugs, and the game has crashed to desktop a few times, and I have had to restart the game several times because suddenly I couldn't use any equipped tools.

But if you like immersive games and simulators, and if you can accept that it's early access with bugs, this is great. Especially if you buddy up with a friend.

If the devs added the ability to have more people in multiplayer, instead if just two, and an in-game voice chat with like walkie-talkies, it could be even better!

I really want to love the game, but there are so many bugs that it's truly unplayable. From Unreal engine errors to very staggering game play, I would recommend you wait for a couple of months and hopefully by then the game will be more polished.

Morvoso

I really wanted to like this simulator.

The general flow of it feels fine, minus the large amount of crime taking place too quickly. Here are my thoughts.

1) The AI is still really dumb. Cars pull up to my cruiser when im stopped at a traffic accident. I can't move them or block them. They in turn block emergency vehicles from approaching to clear accidents.

2) The other emergency vehicles are dumb. They won't siren to move vehicles, they just wait in traffic which is at a stand still anyways. This needs to be resolved somehow ( without making the other cars vanish.

3) Sometimes there are traffic stops where I can't charge anyone with anything. There needs to be an at-fault or crash ticket to give the people. I would also like to have the opportunity to load up charges on people who have multiple offenses. The inverse.

4) TOO MUCH CRIME TOO FAST. I was at a traffic stop and 3 wallets were stolen, and another 2 crashes occurred right next to the one I was at.

5) The dispatch should not contact you if you are on scene. I keep accidently hitting accept.

Overall, good base... but REALLY needs more open world... AI needs fixed... and emergency vehicles should rule the road.

Great game using unreal engine it makes all the graphics sharp and GTA like.
It does get a little laggy when traveling high speeds with many vehicles on the road.
NPC'S are well done if not repetitive.

PRO-
Good graphics.
Variety in crimes.
Interaction menu is easy to learn.
XP system is easy to understand.
Simple learning curve.

CONS-
Vehicle control and camera need to be refurbished.
(possibly put in fixed camera and remap indicators to bumpers)
"Call out" system will spam with call out crimes while in the middle of investigation.
NPV AI behaves erradically.
Vehicle stop are nearly impossible in heavy traffic.
Game locks up when some tut screens are displayed.
Needs "Story mode".

OVERALL.
Very good beta game alot of room for improvement but looks very good so far. I would recommend this game in its current state because the dev's are very active and it is being updated regularly. Better then Flashing Lights. I have not tried multi-player as of the review. (note)

Hello fellow officers. i wanted to write this review in regards to info you should know before hand. 1 this is only a 2 player game, you and one other friend and no more.2 police brutality is not ok you shoot someone and it game over and 3 the game is still a work in progress and there are some good bugs but nothing serious thats why its early access, so you want have alittle fun and wreck your car into ppl and drive off like nothing happened or what? cause thats the only crime that gets past me in my city.

Although the game is very buggy in it's current state, it has got a lot better especially with the recent update. If you can tolerate minor bugs it's a very good game and it's good to pass the time since you can select how long you want your shift's to be. It is a very good game so I reccomend getting it. This game is littered with bugs.

My experience include :

no icons appearing when using the camera to snapshot the damaged vehicle,
no icons appearing when aiming the stun gun at a fleeing snatch theft suspect.

Just a short review, will give a full review once the upcoming fixes and extra content is delivered. In short this game has the potential to be a huge huge hit, it's pretty realistic, not open world, but kind of in a limited way, in that you can do pretty much as you choose within the confines of the district you are working in. Some bit's need polishing, so I am looking forward to the traffic management system, but love the ideas thus far.

I've played for over 160 hrs since I got it just shortly after early access release. I'm loving the game and the new features that have been added. My only complaint is the terrible lag when driving and the traffic AI needs a lot of work. It's early access so I understand there will be issues which is why I still recommend it. Just be prepared for very sketchy driving. I do own other games that use the Unreal engine and they are smooth, so I know it's not my PC setup.

Constantly improving, and tweaked . This is how you develop a game and a piece of art. I'm sick of developers creating sh*t games and moving on to the next. This seems like the developers take pleasure in their work and want to constantly improve it. A game cannot ever be finished, like a painting. There's always ways of making it better, another stroke on the canvas can be done always. It can be buggy at times but I understand that. Keep at it it, this game has unbelievable potential and is original.

This game is alright. Although when you play with a friend it is extremely fun. I wish they could make this 4 player co-op that would indeed make it a hell more fun. So far I have had a blast with it. It can be a bit glitch, but the devs know about them and they are trying.

Game is pretty fun but it has a few issues, i know its still in early acces but i still want to point out a few problems. 1: If a person is driving drunk you cant do anythinhg about that. 2 Fix the patrol cars, when you are slowly accelerating the wheels are spinning like youre going faster. 3. There are a few miss-spelled wors in the [ Gameplay ] section. 4. When you run a pedestrian over nothing happens , you go thru him, make it so you can hit them and if you it them you will get punished. 5. it gets laggi from time to time and its not because of my pc, optimize the game please.
