I just got the game, I think the game looks great, nice models, controls are pretty good, feels a little lacking in stuff to do but the game is WIP so there's more to be added but this game has great potential, If your a person who likes animal survival game this is one id take a look at
The game is very underdeveloped.
There's not even a Plesiosaur!
It takes 2+hrs to grow from juvie to an adult on most of the dinosaurs
so if you want a refund make sure to not go over the 2hr time limit.
Theres a Megalodon, Mosasaur, Liopleurodon, dunkleosteus, and I think there was 2 types of Ichthyolestes.
Other than that nothing else...
No land and a very barren bottom ocean floor. Feels very empty. The dinosaur's calls are AMAZING. 4 calls. 1.Broadcast 2.Friendly 3.Threaten and 4.Help The models look GREAT but other than that there's really nothing much else going on here. No mechanics. Just eat and get dizzy with nauseating camera controls. Not controller friendly even though they have an icon with a game controller next to their keyboard controls. Very few servers up, If you chose a dino you need to kill it off if you want to be anything else and well that can take a while unless you get another player to kill you.
The underwater sound was very annoying constantly quick loop of the same ear deafening sounds over and over again and no option to turn it off unless you turn off sound effects then you just have a BGM that's it. Very little to no visibility at all swimming around. Night vision was cool. Wish there was more to this game. The price is too high for what it puts out for NOW. I hope one day the model sits in the middle of the screen and not the very bottom and the camera controls are better.. so I can see my dinosaur swim around and not have it constantly rubber band back to an annoying back view.
I think someday this will be a good game. Models are great of what they have. There simply is close to zero content. I never found anything to eat as I never saw a plant or anything except a few jellyfish I couldn't eat. There were two other players on server with me I saw chatting until they left. Nothing in their chats indicated they found anything either. I think you are supposed to be able to play single player as I prefer, but, I don't see any way to do that yet. I starved to death.I tried a reptile then which says not to spend too long on land. I wouldn't have a clue where to find land anyway and don't know if they have any. Night vision is cool. It seems like someday this could be awesome if all they had were carnivores. Who would want to be the hunted all the time in a server where everyone else was a carnivore? If all it is going to be is PvP then I wouldn't recommend it ever. If get to survive as any type and there becomes solo play then I would probably recommend after it is developed. Right now it is pretty barren of content.
This game is SH?IT AND TRASH THE CONTROLS ARE BROKEN AND only 3 SERVERS are ONLINE WITH 0 PLAYERS AND THIS GAME SHOULD JUST GET REMOVED FROM STEAM BECAUSE THIS GAME NO WAY this is playable and what is the point in the game when u dont see any fish around PLEASE FIX YOUR GAME OR REMOVE IT FROM STEAM please next time I WILL CHEAT YOUR GAME AND BREAK IT WITH HAX OKAY FIX YOUR GAME AND ONE MORE THING BUY ANTI CHEAT NOW
I wanted to like this game when I first got it, I even purchased a gift copy for a friend. We played the game for a hot minute and never touched it again. There isn't enough to do in this game. The preview is misleading as there isn't a lot of playable creatures to play as and there's no population to really play with. Honestly if you're looking to be a lone in a big ocean killing harmless AI then this game is for you. Steam should probably evaluate this game again and consider removing it until the dev team can come forth with something more complete and interesting.
