UNPLAYABLE when u load any save game game becomes bugged ....devs should fix it
I've played the prologue which was quite fun already, they listened to some of the feedback I gave so that's nice. Compared to the prologue it has a lot more content and a lot more polish. With the newly added daily challenges the replayability has also increased a lot so you get quite some stuff to do for the price. Hopefully the game gets even better over time with added voice acting, more interesting daily challenges, etc...
Ok, well. No.
I tried the demo awhile ago.. I was very on the fence.
So after 13 tries I finally got it to run. It crashed steam more than 4 times, my computer once. Fooked with all of my windows, lagged, just felt like they give zero fooks about optimization. Had to "let it run" by itself for more than 5 mins to get a smooth boot.
So, on the the verge of refunding... it actually starts working! And wow. Don't buy this game. Overclicking, serious QOL issues, very tedious/poor tutorial. And the English translation/story is atrocious. Refunding for sure.
Edit: OMFG I didn't realize this was twenty bucks! Ahhahahahaha. No.
I played the demo and really liked the concept of this game. This game being in early access and knowing that not all content is already present, this does however give you a lot to play with.
It is a nice combo of strategy and tactical combat in the likes of XCom, but since combat is card driven and not just RNG, I feel like you have more control over the outcome of the battles.
Seriously worth giving it a try.
I like the turn based strategy of this game and the deck building is a lot of fun. Only running into some problems with my azerty keyboard where the game convert the controls
rise of humanity perfectly combines games like XCOM with deck building mechanics in an original way, with stunning environments and challenging combat I recommend this game to fans of both tactical and card games
The game is pretty fun, it makes you think which results in a bit slower gameplay in the beginning but that's something I appreciate, especially because it's rather easy to pick up. For an early access game its nicely polished, and bug free so thumbs up for that! The game runs ok but since I only have 8 gb of RAM sometimes that's not enough and there are a few hiccups, but nothing serious.
Great fun and promising.
Coming from playing Magic The Gathering, and many other TCG's, and enjoying other or strategic games.
This game mixes it well, with nice graphics a good engine, and fun gameplay.
Sure there is work to be done, to get more features, and content, but its a very good start as an early access game in my opinion.
The story and characters could use some more spice, but it doesn't affect the gameplay.
Certainly worth its value!
Onto testing some more!
Enjoy the EA.
Combines XCOM with card games, love it
All In all this is a pretty good game. I like the classic mechanics of tactical combat that it provides. Accept im having a lot of save game loading issues.
