im to broke to buy real cars so here i am

I almost finished the game, but i got prertty frustrated in the end. The handling in game is not the best. You can get used to it and that took like 2 days, but is still not really... good. It gives me a really nice vibe which only the NFS Carbon games could give me. I love the detailed carparts and (visual) tuning! But the "upgrading" is kinda dull. Almost every part except the motors are exactly the same, so you can buy the cheapest and have the same results, which is kinda boring.

+ You can do the races on the far right first, drive fast cars get much money, and just buy every part in the shop and have a car that goes 300+ MPH LOL

Im exaggerating but it was kinda dull after you have one part for each part of the car.

The physics when your car is in air or lifting up are crazy. Thats not even "arcade", thats just bad physics. I slid on my side for about 1 kilometer before the game realizes im unable to play and resetting my car or flipping it over. Please increase the abilities of the resetting system, and add a manual reset to the basic controls.

For the steering + translation from controllers maybe take a look at forzas settings ;)

I love this game and would love to see some better driving/flying physics xD
Please dev if you read this, id love to see some updates to round this really cool game up :D

Literally just don't get it. The customization was kinda neat but none of that matters if the game itself is trash. I was surprised to see so many popular aftermarket car brands and bought this while it was $6. Game looks smooth but don't be fooled, by no means is this the game we'd hoped for. I was looking for some type of replacement to either NFS or Midnight Club but this game just isn't it. If you want a good sim or a game with decent physics get Assetto Corsa or Forza Horizon and be done with it. It's really too bad to, I've been waiting years for a good alternative to FH or NFS.

Unplayable, hopefully 1 one day i can change my review

Well its been 3 years and nothing really changed LOL

This game had so much potential, but making shiny videos and telling everyone what you can do with your car and then going in to game-play and games on my ps1 where better then this

i hope one day a game developer like the people who make forza can see this game add all the customisation like need for speed underground 2 and give it good driving mechanics

or instead of cash grab and abandoning the game and then probably changing company name like the rest of them, FIX YOUR GAME PLEASE!!!!! it might even be the first game you've made but improve on it update it fill it with love show the world what your capable of a amazing game because once you build something great you'd be able to make super street 2 one day and people will be buying it crazy like a call of duty game

even world war 3 got help so go out there and DO IT!!

I never normally write reviews, however this game is infuriating beyond belief. First of the game is unstable it's crashed 5 times in the 5.3 hours i have played it, second the races are complete RNG if you win or not for example, the AI's cars are much faster than yours to begin with and their handling physics puts Need for Speed Most Wanted (the 2005 one) to shame, allowing them to go around corners much faster than you and brake much later than they should be able to, even with a fully upgraded car the handling feels like an aircraft carrier. the game was delayed once already originally due to release on september the 4th, then was supposed to be released on september the 11th but missed its own release date which really speaks volumes about the quality you're dealing with. TLDR: Avoid like the plague.

Update: I recently finished the game and it appears that you can only have 1 car, which i find laughable especially for a game that costs £34.99. Iv'e seen amateur racing games contructed in unity that have more content and are more stable, it's really bare bones and once you finish career mode there's nothing except a restart button which completely elminates all the progression you spent a whole 6 hours on, yes it takes 6 hours to finish a £34.99 game. need i really say more at this point?

Was good the first few hours, but only the customization, the gameplay is trash and there are almost no updates.

Rest

This game is possibly one of the worst racing games I have played. There are worse games yes, but they usually price themselves at a couple of cents or a dollar maybe, but this game has the audacity to charge $50. Yet you get a game where your car can't turn and the physics are god awful. The customization is really good, but that doesn't mean anything when you can barely drive.

YUNGLILDONG

Ok so in this game , driving fast is NOT FUN at all....
the customisation is great but the driving physic is just disgusting
even those free racings games that i have on my phone have way better physic then this game ... like guys C'MON !!
The driving systeme is something that's need to be rework ASAP

DrifterKidZ<DKZ>
DrifterKidZ&lt…

-AI-

AI is really challenging to beat. They will take whatever it takes to win so beating them could be satisfying although they don't use shortcuts that is not go through waypoints.

-Cars-

Car list is very JDM heavy based and non licensed. It has 8 starter cars to choose from at the moment. Hopefully game devs will add more cars in the future. Also I think non licensed cars give game devs chance to be more creative and more open to their own ideas but licensed cars is better

-Customization-

Customization is really complex and the huge factor of the game. It uses real aftermarket brands like HKS, Sparco, Toyo, etc. from visuals to ICE/performance and will show the swapping on each parts. This would get you more into the races and get satisfied tuning your favourite parts. Also it has camber/spacers and wheel tuning for your liking.

On the side note, decals/wraps would improve the game's customization more especially wrap editor

-Crash/Damage Physics-

One of the best thing in the game ! The damage is so good that you can see doors waving around side to side when damaged, each of your equipped parts spreading out and flying by when your car hits really hard !

-Handling Physics-

For drift, it can swerve like Cars 2/Modnation Racers plus you can boost non stop while doing it so it's more favoured to drift than grip but grip's also useful especially sharp short corners

For grip, braking timing is a little bit late to execute

It seems hard and wonky but if you have mastered it, you will have no problem with it and enjoy the game more

Note : Airtime is a little bit annoying as told by LP Ripper because it can go opposite direction while doing it so hopefully this could get fix

-Graphics-

Graphics can bring old school memories by turn the quality to the lowest thing as possible which would make the game like an early PS2 graphics and it runs smoothly on 60 fps high

-Map-

Map's really diverse, great to race with, and cruiseable. It has different places. Suburbs, Dessert, Harbor Forest, Downtown.

-Music-

Music seems to catch modern street racing vibe. It has 2 types of music which is EDM ( Chill/Electro/Progressive house & Trap ) and rock. For me it's good enough but if you don't enjoy it, remember. Use Spotify

-Race Modes-

This one is where AAA games need to take notes as they have gone too safe in this one. Here, SSTG also offers other race modes than circuit with unique font styling like 'Arcade Race' as in get as many checkpoints as possible before time runs out, 'Eliminator' that eliminates racers every 15 seconds in a sprint/point to point race, 'Joyride' as in destroy many things as you can, 'Sprint' as in complete unordered checkpoints like MCLA or Payback's courrier mission. Also the game's has cruise mode like Midtown Madness to explore the different places more

-Reset System-

It goes for 3 seconds before it resets your car so try not to crash and use it while you are having an uncontrollable airtime

-Sound-

Engine sound is generic, hit rivals/property damage seems immersive enough although some little parts of property doesn't catch the sound

-Story-

Really basic. Just like a social media notification. At least it's better than nothing

-Track Layout-

It has several unique tracks and some courses have annoying corners but it won't bother if you master the handling well so getting 1st in all of the events is achievable and I would say it gives a challenge to win them

-Weather-

Depends on the place, no day/night cycle. At least your neon glows anywhere if you're expecting that

Overall it's a good game and the best game Team 6 has ever made. From Flatout 3 and their previous games I think they have learned their mistakes and decide to be a better company and I can see the outrage of the price. As an Indonesian, here cost 17$ so I think they have measured the nations economy/wealth and if the country you live in is pricey to get the game, I'd say get it fast on Steam sale as it's a great up to date import culture racing and I hope the game devs felt proud and fixes/updates the game well like it's their own son to make it way better and even turning it into 50$ worthy but for now it's a good 10-20$ arcade racing game at best

Played the game for a couple of hours and so far I like it! Awesome customization, driving physics actually feels very fun and the damage modelling is sweet. To overcome the understeer problem you can either tap nitrous just before turning, or holding the e brake while on throttle. The driving physics is BETTER than NFS 2015 and feels more solid aswell. The game need online freeroam with things to explore, and mod shops, hidden events and such. It also need more content. But the game is a very fun platform to start adding content to!

Was excited for this game however it was the biggest letdown to a game that was suppose to revive the feel of NFS: Underground. The handling and how the car just flips out of control after a minor crash is just ridiculous. The braking is just utter garbage. Turning in this game is the absolute worst. I gave this game 2 runs and i must say i am not going to play it again (meaning i refunded it) until they fix some issues. Also, with that price tag, the game just not justify it,

My dissapointment is imeasureable, and my day is ruined.

I wanted this game so badly. I worked so hard, waited so long, and finally it came.
And boy, it butchered my expectations.
It has good customization, I'll give it that, but the physics and handling are utter crap.
Not to mention the game is quite grind-centric.
I don't think I'll be touching this one for a while.

Skoiloine
Skoiloine

Super Street has lots of potential, but the problems are too big to ignore, and I was REALLY looking forward to this game.
Pros:
-Customization: Everyone and their mother have brought up that the customization in this game is fantastic, so I don't really need to go into detail.
-Music: It has a good soundtrack, with well made songs that fit the action better than the sense of speed you get.
-Progression: the game has a good sense of progression, as you build your car from a proper shitbox to a proper racer.
-Controls: You can actually use grip and drift viably in this game, unlike other current arcade racers where drifting is the one and only best way to drive, or drift is so slow and uncontrollable that it's useless. But you can't rebind anything, and drifting can be hard to control, can only be really done in 1st person if you're doing a 180 degree corner (or risk the car snapping and crashing), and is only truely useful on maps with plenty of 90 degree corners (so you can abuse the NOS gain) and for fixing corners you messed up.

Cons:
-Vehicles: There's too few vehicles, only 8 total. And you can slap taillights of other vehicles that aren't in the game on the ones you get, but only the taillights, and it just looks weird at times. But my biggest problem is that you can't change cars! Once you choose a car, that's it. I'm stuck with the Inspire (Skyline), but I want to build the BMW, Evo, and all the other cars. You can't even have multiple profiles for different vehicles (or another of the same vehicle), if you want a new one, you have to erase all your save data (via folders, New Game isn't even an option), meaning getting rid of your main car, or make a new Steam account and buy the $50 game again!
-Speed: There is no sense of speed without NOS, if you don't activate it, you feel like your going the speed limit, not going 200 km/h!
-Weight: Much like speed, there is no sense of wight with your car. You can get tossed around by your opponents easily, and vice versa. A small bump and your car can go flying 5 miles in the air, a smack in the back 5 milimeters from the center of the car and you go flying in the other direction of where you got hit due to misbalance. No car is able to get around this problem, even AI suffer from it. You also crash very easily.
-Tutorial: There is only a gameplay tutorial, and not a UI tutorial, it doesn't even tell what a certain type of race is, which is why I thought Duel was a tough 1v1 Sprint or Circuit.
-Prices: (Price ranges presented are for the Evo) They can be absurd at times, especially when you can't even SEE some of the things, and all aftermarket parts in a category are equal, for the sake of balance, but why not just buy the cheapest one since it's not an exterior mod that anyone can see? And then there's tyres. Tire prices range from 700-1500 for something that's hidden most of the time, so it's best to buy the ones with logos on them, so you can actually tell the brand! And rims, the thing you CAN see has weirdly varying, and absurd, prices (500-4400). But painting your car? That'll cost you 2000 (any car) to paint the whole thing. Perfect. 2000 to change the color of your car.
-Sponsored Races: In these races (the icon is of the car you drive), you get to drive a heavily upgraded car that isn't your own. Cool concept, but the experience can make you not want to try the car out at all after the race. I don't want to try the car with BRZ taillights because it doesn't handle well in the Sponsered Event. Also, Sponsored Events should not have traffic, 'Sponsored' leads me to think of a legal race, not an illegal street race with traffic. And the only reason I know it's called a Sponsored Race is due to a hint during loading, not because it actually tells you in some better way.
-Crashing: I've had this game crash 3 times, but not over the course of many total hours of playtime, or time curently played, but just because. It always happens when I try to Restart because of some BS that happened (i.e.: the game forcing me sideways even when I countersteer), I've only played like 5 hours, 3 crashes are unacceptable.

Mini Problems:
-Improper names: The first Duel race (seen in Import Tuner, the second event) isn't really a Duel, a duel in racing is a 1v1, and usually a Sprint, but the Duel is actually a Circuit, and a very bad one at that. And Sprint isn't "get from point A to B in first place" it's "get to point A, B, and C within the time limit in any order".
-Main Cars: In Quick Race (or at least Free Roam/Cruising) you can choose preset cars, or your car, but only the Skyline from the Customization Trailer is there, none of the other cars used for advertising, just random presets, not even the S15/NSX that is literally the icon of the game!
-Hood Glitch: While playing in Cruising with the Blue Evo, I noticed that when I respawn, my Hood doesn't come back when it breaks off. I don't know if this is a Cruising thing, a thing with the car, or what, but restating the game doesn't fix the problem.
-Damage: You can't turn off damage, but it's so overstated that one little bump can CRUSH the front end of your car.

I'm still going to keep the game, as I'm hoping it'll get better, but at the momment, it's not worth a buy at $50, $10 maybe.

Suggestions:
-Stickers/Livery Creation: The ability to put manufacturer stickers and shapes on your car to make custom liveries, hopefully connected to some kind of Cloud like NFS or Forza, or the Workshop. (The parts with stickers don't count.)
-Mod Support: The ability to make and download mods for the game for things like parts, liveries/stickers, maybe even cars!
-Sandbox: Infinite money, all events unlocked, the ability to switch cars, etc. I think this could be a good addition for making custom builds, as you wouldn't have to worry about playing the game for an hour just to get enough money to PAINT THE FUCKING CAR.

UPDATE. - 29/10/2018
Since the update they have fixed the majority of issues related to the handling. While it is still not perfect, (seriously i just want to drift my corners) it has become a LOT more playable and a MASSIVE improvement.

This is a prime example of developers listening to their feedback and changing them accordingly. Brilliant job guys! i look forward to wasting some hours racing in this game.
**********************************************************************************************************

Okkkaaaayyyyy.

Super Street: The Game... Where to begin.
So many mixed feelings about this.

TL;DR
Is it fun? Yes
Is it complete? No.
Having played the game now would i have paid $50USD for it? No.
Do i recommend it? Yes but it needs work. Wait for a sale.

Honestly, the game is cool. It's a nice take on an arcade racer. However when it says 'Tested & tuned by pro tuners & gamers for most fun car handling on the market!' I feel they are exaggerating this a tad.

*****MAJOR ISSUES*****
My main beef with this game is PURELY the handling. In my opinion, that is the only thing wrong, but it's bad enough for me to REALLY be in the mood to play this game.

Classic example is drifting around corners. Prolonged drifting does not exist. No matter what i try, (Camber, ride height, wheel width) I simply cannot seem to prolong the drift in a way that is smooth and fluid. There's either way too much oversteer or or no-where near enough. There is no inbetween.

Handbrake is great when you want to perform 90 degree turns, but even then it's hit and miss. For example U-Turns (in the VERY odd times you have to use one) is borderline impossible without coming to a complete stop and rotating your car around to get into a position where you can accelerate well.

My advice would be to start turning early, tap the hand break very lightly and hope for the best as you counter steer around the corners.

Probably the only other large issue i can see with this is the fact that when you roll your car onto the roof (again, super rare) it doesnt reset your car onto the track. You have to restart the whole race.

*****MINOR ISSUES*****
The other thing that stumped me was there really doesn't seem to be a need to spend money on the more expensive parts when the cheaper parts give you the exact same performance increase. Not sure if this was overlooked or put in on purpose. Just seems weird to me.

Not that i mind too much, but all of the 'Crew' members seem to be female. And the animations on the models are quite strange at times. For example the photographer seems to walk funny and isn't rendered anywhere near as well as the rest of the game. It would be nice to see detail in the models as what is in the cars.

When your coilovers/suspension are showing, they don't move with the animations of the wheels. Just seems strange again.

Improved explanation of the 'Wheel Tuning' would go a very long way for people who don't exactly know what they are doing or for those who don't know what 'Camber' or 'Wheel Spacing' does for them.

I feel you should be able to purchase more than one car. It's a bit underwhelming at times.

Also i'm not sure if this was included but when purchasing your first car. I can't recall it displaying if it is a RWD, AWD or FWD. Again not sure if the mechanics in the game allow for this but if they do, it would be nice to know what the cars have.

*****THINGS I LOVED*****
Thank you for bringing back Need For Speed Underground 2 Level of customisation and even a bit more on top of that.

The fact that i can change engines, turbos, coilovers etc is awesome.

Graphics are amazing (except for the models.)

Environments are interesting and nicely rendered.

The Destruction is very cool. Especially when you crash hard enough your car falls apart. Very cool to watch.

I see a lot of people saying that the AI is challenging to beat. On some races this is true but i found the difficulty balance to be just that. Balanced. More often than not i was 8 seconds or more ahead of my opponents. Whether the others reviewed the game in an earlier state or not might be the case.

All in all. Good job. But please fix the handling. It's the only thing killing this game.

SuperSkytelegat
SuperSkytelegat

It's basically a 50 bucks Mobile Game (without microtransactions at least). If the game would cost like 15 - 20 Bucks i maby actually would recommend it.

H. J. the Hedgehog
H. J. the Hedgehog

The challenges are getting harder since those AIs are reckless drivers. Some of the errors are like the broken handling, physics mistakes and so on.

However, I have become an enthusiast of this game and so far, I really like those tuning kits that are related to the official JDM gone entirely impressive to me. The soundtrack has gotten the style of street racing in the nutshell.

As the complete difference to Flatout 3, this game is really worthy to me and I really hope you can fix these issues. Well done!

scmccurry

For being a small developer, there is some decent content here. Despite all the negative feeback I purchased the game and have enjoyed the experience. While the driving physics need some work, there is some severe understeer, I love the customization. The biggest drawback for me is the inability to own more than one car and that the cars aren't "name" brand, though I realize that was a way for the devs to cut cost. Overall I would recommend this game, especially if the devs continue to improve upon it.

dgreyz

Game definitely has been improved after the first update; actually feels comparable to classic NFS

BUBE
BUBE

Ok, so I think I have palyed enough to give an honest opinion on this game. This is actually a really good game IMO because it has great customization features. I love how performance parts are actually visible unlike other games. The exterior customization is amazing you can pretty much make any car, driving mechanics have been improved and it feels great. Definitely this game has a lot of potential and a bright future and I think it is an awesome arcade racer.

But I think it lacks some features like custom licence plates (being able to input custom text, frames, etc.), having more than 1 car is a big one and stuff to do in cruising quick races (FREE ROAM). Also I think that cruising should be visible from the start menu. Finally this game needs some optimization, sometimes the garage is kind of laggy.

It is worth it if you grab it on a sale.

UPDATE 3/5/19
Another update to the game, which means another update to the review. The devs have been listening and have really upped the game. Physics and graphics wise, it is nearly the same experience and it will feel better the more you play it. But, this update bumped the previous 3/5 to a 4/5. A 'Car Collection' option was added to the main screen which allows you to have multiple cars in career mode, I just wish I knew it was coming before I reset my progress. Additionally, all upgrades carry over, so since I bought the last engine for my first vehicle, I can now install it into any car I own, which is very nice. Another vehicle and location were also added into career mode, along with a 1v1 "Boss Race" gamemode. If Team6 continues to listen to us and push out quality updates like this consistently, then this game can reach its full potential like I mentioned in my initial review.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE: 12/30/18
Upon beating the game, I now give the game 3 out of 5. My original review will remain below.

Things I've noticed upon playing more:
-After beating the game, your initial career car remains in quick play. I was satisfied that I didn't lose my vehicle. But, the car can no longer be modified.

-I also noticed that the GPS in game is very responsive; driving through tunnels the GPS doesn't work, like in real life.

-The controls feel better after playing more and the game gets much easier.

Due to these reasons, I can now happily recommend the game but I still feel it can use some work and there is a lot of potential for improvement.

______________________________________________
Super Street: The Game needs some work. A lot of it. This title is an arcade racer that focuses on vehicle customization, but it doesn't feel complete. Honestly, it feels like it should still be in early access. The price of $50USD is outrageous, and I even thought about refunding for the $20 sale price I paid for it. As a TLDR, I feel that the game needs a lot of work, mostly with controls, and is overpriced with an overall 2/5 rating. But now, into the review.

When starting the game, I opted to do the tutorial and quickly found that the controls suck. Bad. This "arcade racer" handles neither like an arcade or sim game, but like a box full of rocks. When turning, the game's physics feel unnatural and that makes gameplay both difficult and infuriating. I tried playing initially with an Xbox 1 controller and after a couple of hours I switched to keyboard. Although both options had terrible controls, I feel that the game is meant more for keyboard steering than a controller, so I feel that more controller support should be added and that the handling physics need to be reworked entirely. This leads into the next thing I noticed; you can't change your controls. There is a control option in the menu, but it simply states the controls and doesn't let you change them at all.

The game needs better optimization as well. I don't have the best PC out there, but it should be able to handle running this application. Instead, I found it to be laggy with the default graphics preset. Thankfully, graphics settings can be changed unlike the controls. When changing the settings, I encountered another issue. They look terrible
when not set to either 'Ultra' or 'Epic' settings. I currently have the settings on high resolution, but it looks like an old Need for Speed PS2 game. On top of looking pixelated and old, it's a lagfest. My PC still has plenty of CPU left and the game still stutters and lags when there is more than one vehicle on the screen. Hell, GTAV runs better than this game. When the game starts to lag, the AI vehicles start swerving and can't seem to move in a straight line which makes the game even harder to play - and it's hard enough already with the standard handling, on top of having the opponent vehicles always trying to spin you out. Honestly, the cleanest looking part of the game is the menu and interface.

The garage. What this game is all about. Super Street has fantastic customization options with top brands such as BBS, Falken, Toyo, GREDDY, HKS, Eibach and more. Cars can be customized in a ton of ways; this is one of the racing games with really good options to make your car your own. It took what made Need for Speed great, and made it thousands of times better. The game gives you a big garage, but for some reason you can only have one car. Only one car to customize. I feel that there should at least be an option to have more cars or somewhere that you can build a car and use it in quick race mode instead of the career. Also, there aren't many cars in the game to choose from, and none of them are actual manufacturer vehicles. With big name brands already in the game, you would think that the developers would actually put real cars into the game, but sadly they didn't. Hopefully it is added in the future.

The campaign is short as well. With around 4 hours in, I am already halfway through the career mode. For $50, the game is simply too short. Even the sale price is pushing it on game length to the actual value. There are quick race and free play options, but since you can only modify one car, I don't feel that there is as much replay value as there could be.

Overall, the game is fun but takes some time to get used to. The campaign is way too short (only about 65 races) and there is little replay value. The game is also way overpriced and needs some work done to the game mechanics. There is a lot of potential for the game to be improved though. At this moment in time, since the game feels incomplete I'm rating it at 2/5, but if it gets updated I'll change that. Since the rating is low, I have to not recommend the game in its current state but hopefully, it will be improved in updates.

CoffeeKills
CoffeeKills

Do not pay more than $10 for this game. It looks good sure but there really isn't much too it. The racing is pretty shitty, they want you to hit lots of shit for boost points. It's really annoying that the NPC cars can mow down a sky scraper but a pole that was knocked down on the last lap will ruin your entire race. The racing tracks were designed to be bad on purpose, for a 'challenge' I guess. It just makes the game crap and prevents enjoyment. The car AI is pretty violent, it's not enjoyable to have your race fucked because you feel like using the brakes to corner then the AI comes in at full speed, because it is their tactic to bounce off walls to turn, hits you then is somehow halfway through the race before you can get back on track. Even if it was a perfect arcade sim there isn't enough to the game to justify the high price.

Djstripes
Djstripes

Although this game has flaws it is pretty fun for one the games a.i kept on crashing into everything even the traffic cars so when you are racing with more cars and you see the traffic they will crash into everything but other then that the customization and the progression is great.

Car physics are horrible, budget spend on "Pimp my ride" customization for real brand name parts, and even that's poorly implemented.

------

15 odd min of gameplay and it's obvious this game is 100% graphics (And considering they are sub par that's pretty outragous for $45) and no gameplay.. the car physics are like if they took burnout, flatout(1) and need for speed.. put them in a melting pot and came out with something that rivals flatout 3's physics, they are loose, not fun and just laughable.

The game's customization might seem inticing, but they lack attention to detail.. every part seems to just add the same effect with different cosmetics aside from engines... all the money was spend on the fancy car parts and decent modeling in that department, everything else is horrible.

After few months after the release, we've got another patch and you know what? I really had fun with this game.

Of course, it's not AAA type of game, price is lower (but it could be even cheaper imho) and it's not flawless. For what is is, simple, arcade racer with nice tuning I had a blast today and it has split screen so it's additional point for me.

For me it's a 7/10 arcade race and because the devs listen to community feedback I would give it 8/10. I still hope that the devs will improve this game further and furher.

Cons? Music and some sound effects as well as over agressive AI (which was toned down with the latest patch). You should wait for the discount but fI really enjoyed it myself.

This game isn't that great, hell its not even that good at all. Gameplay is still pretty bad. Music is meh. I think the tracks are pretty good but just bad races on them. The cars there ok. This game has many flaws, and I dont think its worth a penny.

Why is there interior options when there's no first person camera?

Why do expensive parts don't differ from there cheaper counterparts?

Why do engine swaps barely make a performance difference?

Has potential to be something, but in order to become that something it needs a much better progression system, better driving physics and AI that doesn't kill your race after one mistake.

Here is just a quick summary of what I think of the game so far..

The good
- Customization

The bad
- Price
- Gameplay
- Unlicensed cars
- AI
- Rubberbanding

..and so on, the game is not worth more than $5, the customization is literally the only thing that the game has for it but i don't feel that it makes up for the poor driving mechanics & unlicensed cars, I would wait until there is a big sale to try it.

Pneumo

The General base of the game is an extremely nicely thought out game, and looks good, but the driving/ racing phsics completely ruin it for anyone looking to play a proper racing game, which is a shame.

The overall feel of the driving perhaps feels worse than saints row's driving physics (i appreciate the saints row games, but not the driving), it feels lumpy and cartoony, and feels lumpier and less serious than even the racing games that you play at the arcades.

I was expecting, judging on the storepage videos, something a little more 'Midnight club' but ended up with sub par saints row D:

Worth a look in the future, but considering how badly it handles, and the fact that all the first beginner cars you have - have drum brakes on the front axles, i'd assume the developers arent car guys and felt the driving physics were perfect, when they're probably worse than on a mobile app.

Sorry developers, the idea it good, but the driving isnt... and its a driving game :/

Seems there is a lot of whiny reviewers.... Also seems a lot of the top negative reviews was before they did major updates, the last update was dec 2019 so take reviews before that date with a grain of salt.....

As for me I didn't feel it was a mixed review type of racing game, sure I've played better in my past but I have also played much much worse. I'd give it 7/10. Game engine based on unreal 4. Graphics are decent and run smooth most of the time for me. To be fair to the game i am on an older amd fx 8320, it bottle necks me with ue4 games. Car customization is fine, part wise reminds me a little of nfs ug2, game play some races remind me a bit of midnight club series. Some races I do find tad annoying and maybe even a bit out of place for a game like this. The game is more that of an arcade game so don't expect a sim racer because you wont find that here. I gave $10 on sale I don't regret it. Don't let the negative people push you away, you can always refund it if you dislike it. Personally, I enjoyed my 4.2hrs thus far. I'm sure to sink more time in the future.

TheRealSquid

For the company behind the company, the style of gameplay and such it gets a 5/10. the cars and parts look decent but if the developer had spent as much time on the details of a wheel, they may have been able to make this a game where you could actually enjoy it. allowing for a deeper multiplayer, better world graphics, and better driving mechanics would make this game what they advertised it to be. Doesn't even have a photo mode so you can take a photo of your car after you have built it. feels like a burnout 1 wannabe remake in my mind and that game is 10x better.

Super Street is a great arcade racing game with lots of fun driving. Not many racing games feature simple racing enough for even one player. The customization is very complex and detailed, it offers various driving patterns for the various players.

Destruction points are no good and have no purpose in the results screen after finishing a race.

This game had the potential to be the next Need For Speed: Underground... but the developers gave up on it. The game has no story line at all, a "crew" that doesn't help your experience in anyway. There is no replayability to this game. Once you have gotten enough money to max out your cars stats, its game over. Only reason to finish the races is for the achievements.

The only Pro Ive got for this game is how the cars drive and look.

First off id like to say the game is fun to play and i love tuner culture games. i wouldnt recommend paying the full price for it id wait till it goes on sale. I like all the parts you can put on but i feel like theirs more to be done than just changing the turbo and cold air intake, would like to see aftermarket valve covers, headers, intake piping, and much more. the game lacks vehicles to purchase and upgrade, would really enjoy it more if we could get mod support or atleast more cars and upgrade options. Maybe even add in scrapyards where you can get a scrapped down car and actually build it from the ground up. overall i give the game 5/10.

music is terrible, base is excessive when in menus, crashes are ridiculous from small bumps that wipe you out to jumps that leave your car cartwheeling without wiping out, graphics aren't great when on wide screen even running all settings on ultimate, game is mostly fun to play and not bad value from money as I got in on sale for about $12, definitely feels like it is only worth about that much if not less.

Honestly, I was excited when it came out. Super Street Magazine is my go-to car magazine for cool features and tech tips. The game is a huge disappointment. I'm only thankful that I got it on sale, and not at full price, and even then it was a waste of my money. Sure, they have licensed parts, but no licensed cars. They have weird things that look like the originals, like something resembling a Skyline R34 or an RX7. Races were boring, the physics of the game are absolute shit (who gets like 7 seconds of air time after hitting a barrier?), the car position reset feature did not work most of the time, and it was very hard to farm the in-game currency for new parts. Also, there was no story line. I look for games with a story line because that makes it so much more enjoyable. Also, they included women who had no role in the game whatsoever. I'm usually cool with games having women who may or may not "adhere to moral codes etc. etc." but this was a complete waste of game space. Do not buy, especially for full price.

Kobi
Kobi

It's a good game and has great mechanics, but some of my problems is that the crashing aspect is too delicate and if your a real car person you would get annoyed at the inaccuracy of the cars. It's to be expected since the game isn't officially licensed but yeah you should buy this on sale.

Not nearly as bad as most reviews here make it sound. I guess the wonky physics and unpolished experience makes it feel much worse than it is, especially at first glance.

Driving is fine and gives a good sense of speed IMO, however the brakes are very weak, the steering angle is low and the cars always tends to understeer (goes straight when you are turning), making it very frustrating at the start (although buying tires, suspension and so on help a bit).

The physics are wonky, especially with road bumps - which will easily send you off the track. AI can easily spin you out, since the cars don't seem to have much weight - you can also spin them tho so that's fun.

AI is ok. It will spin you out many times in the beginning, but it is nothing personal, it just doesn't acknowledges your presence in their racing line sometimes.

The graphics are fine too, but the post-processing is so heavy it blurs everything on the screen. I played it with all settings in Ultra, but lowered the Post-Processing to Low and the Anti-Aliasing and Effects to Medium, to give the game a sharper look (it is bad that I had to do that myself though).

Car Tuning is really nice. Varied parts, ability to paint bits separately, adjust visual details of the suspension, wheels and tires. That's pretty good.

All in all, I would still recommend this on a sale. It really isn't bad.

Now I'll ramble about the unpolished or weird bits of this game:
- Why give me 10 options of Intercooler of varied brands and prices when they are all the same stats-wise? If the HKS one costs 1200 and the brandless one is 600, I'll take the brandless, I'm no car-parts hype-beast.
- No progression system for parts and cars. Everything is open from the start and your only limitation is money (which might be why so many people complain about parts being too expensive/races paying too little).
- Painting the car is very expensive though. Given how your car starts with a paintjob that fits the Junk aesthetic, with accents in rust, a paintjob is the first thing you'll want - and won't be able to afford it anytime soon.
- The only unlockables are girls that will roam your garage. When I unlocked the first one, I went into the dedicated Girl Menu (or "Crew" as they call it) to check what kind of bonuses she would give me and there is none. Just a desperate attempt of putting eye candy in the game. It really made me laugh. Thank you Team6. (At least there's no video of them dancing, like in Street Racing Syndicate hahaha).

Oh whale. I still found most of these things funnier than annoying, so maybe that's me, but I'd still recommend this game on a sale, especially if you, like me, are feeling like there's a hole in the tuner-racing game market since NFS Underground 2. This could keep you distracted for a while (and that's not a bad thing)

-Ok so Super Street: The Game. The very definition of "He a little confused, but he got the spirit".
I'm going to keep this one really simple, the game has a great foundation. The customization is fantastic, more in depth than most if not all modern racing games. That's about all it really has going for it.
-HOWEVER, this being a "racing" game, physics and handling are kinda important, and although this is supposed to be an arcade style game, believe me it isn't. The physics engine in this game is an absolute train wreck. Watchdogs has better driving mechanics than this and that's a big oof.
-The graphics are PS2 level, and there really isn't much of a story. The game had amazing potential, and if it released in 2005, it would've been a blast.

Even though i played this game for 37 minutes i think i can put down my thought's about Super Street: The Game

Super Street: The Game is probably one of the worst racing games i've ever had the missfortune of playing.

The game feels rushed and half-assed, almost like they spent most of the time focusing in on one mode and the rest of the game feels like an after thought.

CUSTOMIZATION

The only good thing or rather ok area of the game is the customization part; they have som actual name brands for parts like C-west, HKS, Greddy and so on, there is alot of customization options like: what kind of engien you want in the car, what kind of turbo you want, what kind of air intake you want and so on and so on.

And that's where the good part of the game ends and the rest of the game begins.

GAMEPLAY AND OTHER FEATURES

The handling is one of the worst handling racing games i've played, the car feels like it doesn't want to turn i the corners and the car at high speeds feels wobbly and you always have to counter steer the car which will most of the time end up with you in a wall or wall riding the railing, The handbrake is very weak and doesn't feel like a handbrake it feels more like brakes without the wheel lockup, all of this combined with the rubberbanding AI that rubberbands more than i've ever seen in any other racing game comes out to a flawed and unenjoyable racing game.

THE CREWMATES

So the customization is ok but the handling is horrible what else is there in Super Street? well there is the useless "Crewmembers" that are just eye candy for the player which serve no purpose gameplay wise other than being NPC's that are in the garage just for the player to gawk at but they all have a theme, they are all showing alot of skin and or sexualized a good example of this is the secretary jessica who which would not look to out of place in one of those steam p0rn games, another example of this is Lynn "the marketing manager" that will take up 80% of your screen if you turn the camera around in the garage and i think you can tell what part of her you see.

CONCLUSION

So after all of that would i recommend Super Street: The Game?

Simple answer: No. Not unless the overhaul the whole game.

More indepth answer:

If they remade the game from the ground up and by that i mean they: Fix the handling, fix the weird handbrake, fix the horrible rubberband on the AI and get there priorities straight (fix the oversexualized crewmates) its not hard to make a crew for a street racing game like why do you need a secretary for street racing?

To make it easy to understand; in a crew you need a mechanic who can help you with your car and know when new parts are coming in, a "hookup" a person who knows what's going down in the city such as races and other things and last but not least some race buddys that are in to diffirent styles like; one is in to drifting, one is in to drag racing, one is in to sprint racing and track racing.

So i think they need to rework the game, but would i recommend it as it is now? No. Not in a milion years

Got my hopes a bit too high for this one, im a bit deceived.

PROS:
-Nice Graphics
-Nice Menu & UI Design
-Nice Car Modding System

CONS:
-Blocky & tedious driving model
(I mean it, for an arcade game, these cars sucks in terms of handling and reaction.)
-Online Multiplayer is dead and you cannot start a lobby by yourself
(even if you have Ai's added in the lobby)
-Ai drivers are just as stupid as they come.
-No Game options to Fine Tune the handling system or the linearity for keyboard users.
-Janky & bouncy car physics.

IN CONCLUSION:
This game is a bunch of hit and miss, trying to hit the spot between NFS and Burnout whit its street racing & destruction system, but because of its big miss toward the handling system & its lack of options making it impossible for players to fine tune it, this makes super street unsuitable for a proper PC experience.

SCORE: 4/10

this game is honestly trash. take people that doesnt know anything about what makes a driving game together, and you get this thing. its a racing game that targets tuners. yet there is no manual gearbox option, the ai controler your shifting doesnt know how to downshift even after releasing the throttle, cant tell a diffrence between a jump overrev and your normal km/h speed, so it upshift to 5th gear even though your rpm is at 3k. this is a retarded game that is more akin to a demolition derby. if you want to keep your sanity with clean races this is not the game for you. take the worst NFS game out there and multiply it by a billion

This game does NOT work on the Steam Deck, contrasting to its current rating. This is the only game that consistently crashes on me on Deck. If you can get it to run, the game is a disappointment. The customization, it’s sole bright spot, is great - with numerous ways of souping up your ride. But the racing isn’t inspiring or fun. Literally any other NFS game (minus Payback, of course) is worth your time and money more than this game - and it pains me to say it.
