good.
6 Eur for this game is a good price.
I finished this game for 4hours, but 2x speed. Normally 5-10h.
Some missions are difficult(very good) and I had restart.
Best planes: concorde and F-16(fighter).
Of corse this is not Microsoft Flight simulator, but this game cost 6 Eur, not 24.99Eur.
Maybe Take Off The Flight Simulator "2" will be expanded.
Najlepsze samoloty: Concorde i myśliwiec
Oczywiście nie jest to Microsoft Flight Simulator, ale ta gra kosztuje 6 Euro a nie 24.99.
Może druga część tej gry(jeśli wyjdzie) będzie bardziej rozbudowana.
Perfect for those people who don't want to master FSX complicated controls. A kiddie flight simulator...
Graphics are not wuite what they are in the pictures
Very basic and quite dated. Would have been ok in the 1980s, maybe even 1990s, but not by today's standards. Doesn't have joystick support, only keyboard and gamepad. Even gamepad control is not very smooth. First ever game that I asked for a refund.
fun game, great for xbox control and great price
This game is very good for casual players who want to have some fun flying different planes. It has simple controls even there are quite many of keys necessary to use.
The cockpit camera gives a realistic feel when flying the planes. The interior gauges, wheels and pedals are animated when they are used pressing the respective keys.
You can customize the planes with different skins. and tehre are a lot of them to buy / unlock.
The graphics are better then Airport madness 3D but are still very simple which makes the game run smoothly on old PC too.
It has enough content for the 7 euros and it is well worth it when it is on sales..
It is a good game for kids too.
I have hesitated to buy this game but now I am happy I bought it. All the other flight simulator games I have didn't impress me so much as this in terms of how easily you can pick it up and play it.
The screenshots and videos are completely innacurate compared to the actual game graphics. The controls and mechanics also dont work very well, you would be much better with something like Microsoft Flight Simulator X. I disliked the game so much I have requested a refund.
First: this game isn't a SIM-sim game, but more one of those Simcade games, ´which I love a lot.
You don't sit 25 minutes to start the light, engines and all that stuff.
It's a straight get-the-plane-in-the-air game, and it's really easy to get started with.
It's doesn't take many missions to get a bit more complicated though, especially the landings after a 10 minutes "guided" flight isn't always *Click to read more* an easy task.
As said above it isn't totally sim.
However, it got a good feeling of actual flying - a bit of sidewind, stalling if flying to slow etc makes it well for a flight game with this easy acces.
For me it's one of the very few games that actually works pretty easy with a Xbox 360 controller.
It isn't always 100% smooth (eg. speed adjustments could be less sensitive) but it is possible to use it without keyboard or mouse while flying.
The game definately needs some updates still - eg. for now you can't edit the button layout for Xbox controller.
The elsewise nice green/red lights (almost looking like magic pillars) could be changed with a map and "guiding dots" or something else less "childish" (sorry) ;)
Also the "old pilot" advices and comments are too much in the long run.
Still, I hope for more developer work on this lovely game (please?
Could be very fun to steam off and casula play but it isn't as it doesn't even support joystick as they mention in their faq on the game's website. As such, I strongly counsel you NOT TO BUY this game. :(
fake shots look nothing like the game also the video shows no actual game play refunding
First refund in god knows how long.
It's not really hard to find a person as casual and far from flight-sims as me but that's too casual even for me and likes of myself. I mean, I occasionally play DT Flight School to at least get an understanding about what does it mean to fly a plane, but nothing more than that.
Feels like a mobile port, and looks like one... from about 2007. And nothing like trailer videos and store screenshots, too.
I can see it having its own little audience but I'd really advise not to touch it, even in gloves.
Pros:
+Game launches fast
+No game crashes or freezes so far
+Controller support
+The landings are sometimes challenging, especially with larger planes that have a higher landing speed
Cons:
-Steam achievements don't work
-The graphics make Hawaii look dull
-Game only takes up part of the screen at 1080p resolution
Verdict:
A PC game that looks and feels like an Android port
Ideal for gaining practical flight knowledge. The game throws you right into the experience, without overloading users with technical information. Once you adjust your graphics settings, the game is pretty impressive. I do recommend familizarizing yourself with the controls before "take off". As someone who was looking a non-combat flight simulation, this is Perfect!!
You can't get past the tutorial. There is no joystick support either. Do not buy this game.
Wosrt Graphics Bad game Bad gameplay Yes..
Horrible. Do not waste your cash on this game.
Nothing like a flight simulator game. Extremely simple controls. Very basic. Poor graphics. Not worth $9.
This 'Ere Is The Dangest Game 'E Has Ever Seen. When One Starts The Game It Comes Up With: "Take Off The Flight Simulator" That Is Title Of Game.
Then It Sits There. Ze Operator's Eyes Is Looking... Nothing Happens. 'Is Mind Is Going, "What The Flock?" So After Long Wait, 'E Starts Pressing Buttons. Nothing Happens. So Nows, 'E Is Puzzled. So After Buttons, 'E Clicks The Screen. Bingo! It Comes On More. Nows, That Was Strange.
Nows, After The Profile Und Such, There Is A Light Plane In Color There And Instruction Is That Operator Is To Test The Plane's Functionalities & Prepare It For Flight. When One Clicks Start For That Part, The Qualified Pilot Is There Und 'E Says, "Cleared For Take Off."
Nows, The Operator Is Confused. Every Game 'E Has Ever Played Tells What Buttons To Push But This Game Does Not.
What The Wack! Wack! Polly Whack!
There After, Saw Where One Can Click Top Left To Get The Function Of The Keys.
Mixed review score on this one is justified, while there is a good game here it really needed a couple thorough patches so players could find it. Contrary to what many others have said, the store page screenshots in fact DO represent the game, it's just that whatever Jujubee did with the final update broke preset resolutions and made Take Off render everything in low resolution unless you make use of Unity launch options to override it.
Although I liked this one, calling it a simulator is a joke. It's really more of an arcade game with decent plane models that closely copy actual planes. Actual control of the aircraft is always somewhat jerky, resulting in nearly every landing being pretty sketchy yet entertaining. Audio does the job, but loops quite obviously on the smaller planes. Ironically whoever voiced the narrator did a solid job, enough so I wonder if he thought the recording was going into a AAA title?
Missions vary from just flying from A to B to eventually putting out forest fires, flying in fighter wings, and even landing some kind of mysterious cargo during the storm of the century while the plane falls apart around you. There are roughly 50 of these, and the faster you complete them the more cash you earn to sooner unlock even more planes. Also, you can do normal flights with all the aircraft between several international airports, allowing the AI to complete the trips or doing takeoffs and landings yourself - this is a super easy way to earn cash and means you DO NOT need to ace the missions, making the game pretty chill actually.
Players who excel at flight games could very well finish Take Off in about seven hours, but it took me a smidge under nine due to a couple irritating missions. Achievement hunters be warned, Jujubee broke all of the achievements last update and never patched them so if you're allergic to SAM it's best to skip this one. Replayability is limited in my opinion, but it's there if you like casual plane games. All in all I'm happy having paid just over five dollars for it.
This is one of thse games which is neither easy or too difficult. The level is just right.
It's a great day for flying! its not FSX, but its nice and easy to play.
this game na good jk THIS GAME SUCKKKKKKKKKKKKK
Trash but Its ok I WANT MY MONEY BACK YOU JUST DESTROY MY MONEY WITH THIS TRASH GAME
Cannot stop yawning! Booooring!!!
disgusting. lol its a bad game. im not sorry.
As a flight-sim fan curiosity led me to buy this but unfortunately its another of the many misleading "sim" titles on Steam. The graphics, flight models and missions are all very bland, lacking immersion and meaning all the planes (which can take a while to unlock) have the same flight characteristics. I could not unlock any of the achievements. I would not even recommend this title to a flight-sim beginner, as the experience may be too negative. There are still many superior older titles to buy.
