This game is actually pretty good. I usually expect games that cost less then $5 to have something wrong with them. As far as gameplay, they have done all right by me. It's a fun little game that has been well designed and thought through. The game had some problems in there first release of the game, but since the previous review I left (I updated this one) where I mentioned some of the problems, they have been corrected. It really showed that they cared for this game. I did a let's play of this game, if you want a better idea of the game for yourself, then you can check it out with the link below. It was created before the problems were fixed though, so please excuse any new copies from having them. I will do a continuation of the game later on.

I've never played a game where I want to both strangle and kiss the developers before.

The Flesh God is a marvelous gem, I think at the price it's a f*cking steal. The levels are challenging, the aesthetics are great, and the rage is real. Just be prepared to have your fingers go numb just to complete a level.

Inverse ballistic based kinetic movement is not a common way to navigate through life. The base mechanics are solid but the level design does leave a bit to desire. The lack of variety in weapons to move with also leaves the experience feeling a bit stale after only a few levels.

Big fan of the setting and the artwork but the levels are not designed well. Their isn't enough of a challenge to get excited about or new mechanics. Also it's not really polished which I figured going in since it's a budget title. However the one thing you need are perfect hit boxes in a game like this and it doesn't have it.

So really interesting idea but not executed well. I would love to see what the developer is going to release next.
