I wanted to like this game because it has a cute art and the story seems interesting, but, the dialogues are bad. It felt like it was spoken by one person only. Sad.

Pastry Lovers is adorable and the art is cute. The routes are long, which was nice imo, but it might be tiring for others.

The game has some bugs, so it's nice to make a save here and there.
The main issue is that the translation is REALLY bad. :(

I think it was a bit boring going every night to guy's dorms to feed them cake. (Also weird).
I wish the characters could have interated more to raise affection instead of doing this ^. But regarding its price, the game is good.

Pasty Lovers is a good example of a visual novel having a good concept but a bad execution. This visual novel had beautiful backgrounds, and lovely character designs. But, the writing and grammar were at most points unreadable. The game strongly pushes the main teen aged girl to her older adult teacher, which made me feel uncomfortable. This game also used the terms “loli” and “shota” which also made me feel uncomfortable. The characters had good back story, but the visual novel doesn’t tell you a lot about them till you pick them in the end, but at no point did I feel engaged to pursue one except the prince, and that because he is the only route where you discover the truth behind our protagonist (despite us gathering clue throughout the whole visual novel). Also, there was no skip button, so it was a pain to reread everything. Overall, a lot of things could have been done better. If you really want to play this visual novel, go ahead, just don’t expect a lot. Otherwise, I don’t recommend this visual novel at all.

This really is a sweet little game (visual novel, dating sim, whatever you want to call it). The artwork and music are both nice and even the minor characters get some development and have more personality than you often see. You also have more control over the story than in many such games, with stat raising/time management becoming increasingly important. There's even a little mystery to solve!

The only real downside is that some of the localisation to English is truly awful. It doesn't impair understanding in my opinion, but names do sometimes change and, as a baker, some of the comments on recipes were a little worrying. Also, if you're NOT a baker you might require outside help (unless you're willing to do some save scumming) - to become a pastry master you WILL be tested, make no mistake!

I really did enjoy this game, but the English translation leaves much to be desired. Cute game if you can get past that, though.

I really really really loved this game. Maybe it's because it tricked me into getting all of the achievements, which there are a shit ton of, but it's an adorable game with a simple but engaging plot.

The story wasn't boring in the least, there was always a lot to do, and even some parts that were challenging. The art is much higher quality than many of the cheap VN's you can find on steam.

Although there is a questionable route with Childe Ye, which definitely made me uncomfortable... the other routes take care to make the story about the main character's sense of empowerment.

some of the English translations were a bit clunky in some spots and I noticed a few times a line of dialogue would be repeated, erasing what is supposed to be there.
Also some mechanics could be a little bit clearer

But those are minor compared to the gameplay and story experience

Raising your stats, trying to unlock recipes and cutscenes. Wooing your favourite boy. And 5 bonus after game stories!?
I'm definitely going to be playing every route

Overall it's a very enjoyable game!
7/10

(I got it discounted. I personally wouldn't pay full price for the game, but that doens't mean you don't get what you pay for. I'm just super broke..)

This game overall did fill my otome needs. There are pros and cons in every game but I think that's where it shines the most. no game can truly copy each other's work(unless the codes and graphics are copy-pasted with some alterations but that would be plagiarism)

I'll start off with the cons of the game so that buyers will know what they're getting

CONS:
• There will be few instructions. So basically, You'd have to explore with your first run. Doesn't hurt to explore on your own though (i advise to do it on morning/midday unlike me who did it past midnight xD)
• Since it's originally Chinese, some parts get lost in translation or translated poorly. If you're the type who gets a turn-off by this, I suggest that you'd not buy it.
• Poor transitioning to stories. SPOILER ALERT(sort of..?) I find it weird on how they can move to a love affair with William and Haonan that makes no sense..? It shows how Christopher and Henry develop an interest to Sakura(MC) but i rarely see interaction between William and Haonan. It seems like they're extras of some sort. You don't get to be alone with them until after Semester 3
• Only a few dialogues are able to determine your route so it's pretty much farming for the attributes. only then can you branch to your selected character. Well maybe the game only had eyes for Christopher and Henry since both had 2 CGs while William and Haonan only had one. And whichever character you choose, Christopher is hinted to always love you and even though I find teacherXstudent... weird, they pretty much have a wonderful development out of all the characters
• Graphics are... inconsistent. If you want some perfect amazing art, then this game is not for you. I find it funny when they're inconsistent and it doesn't bother me much than it used to before. I think it's pretty neat that they are able to showcase this game despite their faults. Makes you think how much work has been poured out to draw such poses and keep up with the extremely difficult character design.

Now with the PROS:
• If you're into attribute farming, then this is a game for you. It lets you think on how you will get to their endings
• Freedom to explore everything! The game lets you do what you want as long as you meet their tasks/goals at the end of each semester/chapter.
• Chinese/English option. I like on how they have taken to consideration that the audience would very much like an English version. They did their best to translate and it's not that difficult to understand their errors in translation. I just let it slide and have fun with it.
• It's a pretty decent game with its price. Not gonna lie... I did buy this when it was on sale. I remember my friend telling me to not buy overly cheap games when on sale but this game just proves that not all cheap af games are bad. If you reaaaallyy wanted to know, I bought this for like.. less than half of 1USD owob
• The colors were nice and didn't clash as much with the character designs. This usually is the case in most cheap otome games but they tried to match both as much as possible

And that concludes my opinions. I know some, rather most of you will object to my statements and prove that it has more cons than pros. Tbh it's up to you. If you really wanna know, you can wait for it to be on sale again. Try it. There are walkthroughs posted in here so you could check those out.

In the end, everyone has different opinions and to me, this game is a good game that made me happy within 3 days of playing

Since I read Visual Novels for storyline and content I would have to say this one is worth reading/playing. The bad boy is not too obnoxious or sexually forward, and the other three boys are not overly patronizing, conceited or condescending. There is some fan service at a hot spring once in college. Actually all the characters encountered are pleasant to deal with. One can have a hidden "love" interest during the end game and even a female "love" interest that plays out in the extras. Compared to some other visual novels the characters, both main characters and supporting characters, in action and personality are more realistic which for me is what I am looking for.

The storyline is about an the orphan girl Sakura who wants to be a pastry cook. There are several sub-story lines that run throughout the game and the main "mystery" plays out during the end of the game in a couple of the boy's individual story lines.

The game begins in Sakura's hometown and later with her at college assuming the player manages to pass the entrance examination which is the first part is a cooking trivia test. So do not skip the lesson review when offered unless you are a cooking trivia expert. There a tiny glitch that sometimes appears during the "cooking portion" of the entrance examination so I recommend saving before taking the test.

During the hometown portion there are plenty of characters to interact with which earn points in various areas. Each section of this game has a GOAL to achieve before advancement is allowed. In the home town portion most of the extra characters are available to get all achievement hearts from. These extra character achievement hearts are important since the reward for getting all of them is an item that boosts one of stats. It is possible to get all these hearts plus some heart points from the one of the main "boy" characters, DM. So go explore and interact.

Once in college, there are a couple of extra characters to get full achievement heart points which give the player extras. There are three GOALS the player needs to achieve, one at the end of each semester/year plus another trivia test for advancement. So focus on each GOAL and getting as many points in all the stat areas as the player can get. I recommend romancing all those boys with those pastries and with the best pastires as much as possible. By the end of college it is possible to have every boy madly in love (well over 110 hearts required), all classes complete, and all but one extra character with complete achievement hearts.

The hardest part of the game comes at the end during the Intern phase because this is where every boy's individual story line plays out, plus the "hidden" love story assuming one has managed to get the hearts for it. There are three endings for each main boy. Steam achievements are for only Ending 1. Each individual boy story line has its own GOAL involved and can be quite tough to achieve. The "mystery" of the overall story also plays out during the various end sections of the game.

Overall, the game is worth reading/playing and does not get disjointed or awkward in reading when dealing with all the different character's (main or supporting) storylines. My only very small complaint is during the individual end story lines there are grammatical and spelling mistakes (as if the translator changed). But these errors are not so bad one has to figure out what is supposed to be being said. Again worth the price and the read.

serious review:
The translation's wonky but I can let it slide, the story is cute and the gameplay is so-so - it's good if you're into stat grinding games. It gets kinda repetitive after a while though. If there was a midway button for recommend and not recommend, I'd choose that.

This is a very nice visual novel. Yeah, it does have some glitches that everybody keeps talking about (like the problem with the first exam) but it doesn't make the game at all bad and I can't say that it's super pricey (I got it with a good discount though). As for the plot, well, the story tries to take unexpected twists but still you kinda can predict them. The potential boyfriends are nice and you can even date some sidekick characters.
So the overall mark is 7.5/10. Personally, I do not at all regret spending money on this game.

This game is super worth it for 50c! A fun slighly challenging game where you up your baking stats to pass cooking school. The characters in the game are interesting and even after you select which boy you want to end up with, there is still more story and challenges to get through. I was most impressed with the story because this game has more story than games I've paid 3 times as much for. The translation isn't very good so often the characters speak in broken English but that didn't really bother me.

Baka Mitai
Baka Mitai

Simply terrible. I do not think there is any reason to play this game at all, for a visual novel, the translation is unacceptable, and the gameplay is minimalistic at best. The game could only be saved by good sprite work, but even then, the sprites were plain, and barely changed. The music left much to be desired as well.

SelenetheMoon
SelenetheMoon

Do not buy this game if you can only speak english, the translation is terrible absolutely the worse. And it's extremely boring I would not play this free as I was so bored by the first few minutes of playing the spirtes are cute, but why does the main character have a cowlick? There would be potential in this game if the interactions were more interesting, there were more choices and the characters said more then a few words which were mostly repeated.

I really love Pastry Lovers.
It's very cute and surprisingly long, took me about 15 hours to complete it. As it goes on sale frequently (for a few cents, on top of that), I suggest checking it out.

The translation is not the greatest, but I had not much problems understanding everything. It's not as bad as Sakura Games! And I point it out just in case: you have to deal with some skill/time management, which is not a problem for me, because I like this usually in Otomes/VNs.

Now, what was so great about the game?
I found the artwork really nice, I liked all of the characters, including the heroine, Sakura, and to my surprise in one of the routes I learned a lot about pastries, tea and coffee cultures from various nations. So you can say 橙光游戏 (the developer) really put a lot of effort into this game.

I played most of their other games as well and have to say, I'm really fond of them. So they are worth giving a try, especially while on sale.

I want to like this game. I really do. But it's so buggy that I can't really play it. The 'quiz' the teacher gives at the pastry school, if you pick the wrong combination the game doesn't let you do anything and you have to quit the entire program. Too bad! I really like the artwork.

Patches

I tried to like the game, but with its sub-standard quality of translation to english and how it seems like several artists made the supporting characters (so no consistent art style), it's hard to like it.

I purchased this game on sale, and I'm happy I did. I'm even happier that it was cheap. It's a cute game, appealing visually. I had some trouble because the translations were not great, with grammar errors throughout and odd sentences that didn't quite make sense, though the basic idea of each scene did get through. The soundtrack was pretty limited, though charming in its own way. Each love interest had his own storyline (after a certain point in the gameplay), complete with their own minigames and structures. I did find the endings to be rather unsatisfyingly quick and incomplete, and the love story for all but Henry Yin quite shallow, but I would recommend it as a story to play when you want something simple and light-hearted.

I am a fan of visual novels, and I really wanted to like this one. I didn't end up playing for more than a few minutes because the translation was so bad. I don't mind a few errors here and there but this was too much for me. It's too bad because I liked the premise quite a bit! Maybe if they get a new translation I'll end up playing it again.

Well its not a top qaulity otome, seeing as the characters rarely change, the MC does change outfit once and a while. Some of their faces will change, but only when something dramtic happens. Characters have a drawn line but are basic.
The english is decent but slightly bad, from sentence structure to run ons.
The music is annoying, i ended up going to volume mixer in the computer. Seeing as muting in the settings works till your background changes ingame or you make a choice.
The choices were common.
I am amazed by the knowledge put into the game, but most didn't come here for the recipes and history. They came for the romance.
Well graphics are appealing. Aside from the festival, where it's the same background, just flipped. The "eperc".
Story is long and tiresome, as the real stuff doesn't really happen till semester 3. Were you have to choose or go lonely. They give you some clips along the way. But it doesn't feel as though you develop a connection with them.

I got this during summer sale for a dollar. This game. . . is flawed but still worth trying at full price(not). Just becareful on Williams route(use the guide). Shame they don't have a route for Yosuke, although he might just get killed by Hannan for it.

spiritedrinoa

(Updated based on finally playing through all the routes and getting most of the endings - I'm only missing 2 of Ye's endings)

This is a cute game with a lot of positives, but missing several features that are in most similar games I've played. I wish that there was a feature to skip already seen text, and to scroll backwards through previous text (versus having to go into the options screen to pull the log). As I tend to binge-play a lot of routes in otome-style games, I don't generally need to re-read the text (though it's helpful to get to page back one or two lines when you get to choice selections). Holding down the mouse click speeds it up, but it won't automatically stop if you come to new text.

The game is sorely in need of better English translation. There were several times when the translation was poor enough that I genuinely didn't know what a character was trying to say (though nothing so bad that it impacted my understanding of the overall story arc). The translation also seems to get he/she and you/I frequently transposed. This is understandable since these are often inferred in Japanese and not always explicitly stated, but it can lead to confusion for the player. Another big issue is that some of the character names seem to be inconsistent - it took me a while to realize that Haenon Ye and Childe Ye were referring to the same character (the first time I encountered him being referred to as Childe was when I was working on F Street and thought they were referring to the customer).

I really enjoyed the stories in this game, and found most of the choices intuitive (nothing frustrates me more in an Otome game than when the answer that seems the most logical for the characters is the "wrong" answer). Although I had to play William's route 2x to figure out the right order to do my tasks, it was easy to accomplish. The only one that stumped me enough to look up was Henry Ye's route (because I kept getting SO close to the target goals and just missing them).

I do wish that you could get more about Sakura's past in the different routes, though, especially since you encounter places and people that could potentially give you more information along some of the other routes.

You get to play as Sakura who is a young girl with a dream of becoming a famous pastry chef. Throughout your sweet pastry adventure, you meet new friends as you learn how to bake with them. and maybe even the prince of your dreams! I enjoyed playing this game alot because the story was really interesting and beautiful and the characters are so loveable and also because you learn about the history of pastry and cakes in real life too. I would totally recommend this game. 💕

Pastry Lovers is a cute lighthearted otome game. In it, you're an aspiring baker at a fancy school and have to meet certain stats in order to advance in whatever route you choose. Getting some of the stat levels correct for whichever person you were aiming for could get a little annoying, but it wasn't horrible. If you're looking for a light and fluffy otome game this is a pretty solid option.

ビクトリア
ビクトリア

I struggled with this game at the beginning, as at first, I couldn’t decide if I liked it or not. I think I was quite baffled by what I had downloaded. It is an otome style game but it actually involves more than your usual visual novel style game.

So before I downloaded this game for the measly sum I did (I can’t remember exactly how much but it was less than a loaf of bread…) I read the reviews. The ones I saw were mostly negative but I still decided to give it a go as it was so cheap.

So, what do I like about this game?

After much consideration, I do like the style of gameplay. It has all the themes of your standard otome (picking a certain route and ending with a character of your choice) but then has the extra dimension of actually having to gain the stats you need to progress. You have to actually read everything as there are quizzes. However the downside to this format is if you don’t save often enough, you have the frustration of having to start again. A lot.

The theme is sweet enough. You attend a school, learning to make pastries and deserts. You have to raise your skills in certain amounts of time or you fail. You have to gain favour with your peers (and potential partners) or you fail. It seems simple enough and it is, as long as you save quite often. It takes a while to complete this game, which is good if you want something a little more than an hour’s story book.

However, this game just keeps on giving. I thought I’d completed it, I was about to get the guy of choice and … bam … whole new massive level to beat, with considerably more story. As far as value for money goes…well, I think I got my few pences worth. But here’s why that also works against it. Depending on the route you choose after you complete the first section at collage, it can get a little infuriating. I have at several points said “is this even possible”, whilst following the story with one particular character route and in the end, I actually gave up.

Some of the text and translations are a bit messy, but I’ve seen worse, and there are some obvious little bugs (they don’t really affect gameplay) but all in all it’s not a terrible game, which is why after much debate, I decided to give it the thumbs up. You can’t really dip in and out of this one, as you have to build up your stats and answer things correctly after other characters have spoken (so if you come back a couple of days later and can’t remember you’re a bit stuck) but you can complete a character route over a few days by stopping at certain points. If you can get this cheaply, it may be worth a try but if you’re a fan of simple story-telling otome with the odd choice, this probably isn’t for you.

I really enjoyed this game, the mechanics were very fun and once you get on a specific guy's route then it's extremely different, depending on that character and where the MC goes in her career. I didn't really take issue with the translation being rough in certain places, I thought it added some quirky-ness to the atmosphere. Definitely get it if you enjoy visual novel games and games related to cooking!!!

A strategic dating sim that takes place in the fictional island kingdom of Carseland, you play as a young orphan girl from the west island named Sakura, who is given a recipe notebook on her 16th birthday, said to be linked to her origin. This inspires her to attend the kingdom's local college and become a master pastry chef, to find out who she really is, and maybe... just maybe... find her true love.

The storyline is divided into the prologue, and then the three semesters of college. Each semgent will give you a list of tasks to complete in order to progress to the next segment. The story is pretty much linear until you reach the third semester, then the story branches off and you must now choose which of the four guys you want to pursue, and spend your time raising their desired stats and baking their favorite treats. Then after that, you have to take up an internship with your man of choice and complete one last set of tasks. It is important to make sure that you complete all required tasks and make the right choices, as they affect the ending. Also, there is a secret route towards the end of Christopher's route that allows you to pursue Hening, the art teacher if you have at least 50 Affection with him.

There appears to be an "Extension" option on the title screen, which seemingly provides side storylines for the specified characters. Just like the main story, you can create save files for them (though they are quite linear with no dialogue choices). Also, as you unlock the CGs (there's 6 total), they will appear in the "CGs" option on the title screen.

Anyway, it was a nice little game; my only gripe was that it seemingly never completely saves your configuration settings, and it was really annoying to have to choose the language, adjust the sound and change it to window mode every single time I started up the game (ugh). But with that being said, it was an otherwise enjoyable experience.

It has good idea, good plot- too bad the writing or/and translation ain't that good making things felt off (or maybe cos it's stat raising? so I couldn't unlock some scene?). Could also be the fact that it's a Chinese game and I'm not used to Chinese culture.

The art is---- BAD. The art style for the sprites are inconsistent. None of the CG looks 'pretty' to me.

It doesn't have a skip (read) button even tho it's a stat raising (you hold your mouse down to skip :|) SO ITS HELLA TIRING.

but I like the 'characters' and I've seen/read worse translation.

It is worth 5 dollars. Don't expect a 30 dollar game quality tho

Lyxil

This is a difficult game to review, because it has high pros but steep cons.

One con is the quality (low-res) and art is not up to par for a modern game. But the obvious HUGE con is the translation. It's bad, so bad it breaks immersion (and I'm used to fansubs of obscure anime), especially during the very beginning of the game. It's not as bad in the middle/end of the game, but it was bad enough to make me quit after 30 minutes and not pick up again after months out of boredom.

But I'm glad I gave it a second chance.

The pros to this game are the characters, story, choices, and charm. It's a lot longer, deeper, and more fleshed-out story than I originally thought. Most of the characters are rounded with personality and charm that you may have to suffer through some stiff translation to uncover. The fact that you can end up -spoiler- the wife of a mafia boss -spoiler- and other ridiculous things makes it pretty fun to play to the end and replay.

I love cooking and baking so the theme was definitely charming to me right off the bat. It's hard to sit through the very big cons to get to the actual good parts of the game that are very rewarding and pretty deep for an otome game.

A VERY rough start, but ultimately worth it in the end if you're after a story-rich otome game.

Tekki

I love otomes, and this one looked cute at first glance. Plus with a low price like $5, how could you go wrong? Unfortunately, the translation for this game is horrendous, and it really ruined the story for me. If they can't even bother to translate it decently, they can't expect people to feel invested in the story or to buy their game. Just look up the CG online and skip actually playing this.

I purchased this game on sale and even then I did not like it very well. I tried so hard to like it by playing through all routes, but oh gosh, the process was quite painful.

The designs of this game and story description seemed fun. Sadly it's badly translated with many sentences that hardly make any sense. I lasted only a few minutes before closing the game. How do these badly translated games keep being sold? They're making this genre of games look bad.

我發現這個遊戲非常有趣和愉快。真棒。
當我第一次購買遊戲時,我認為這將是一個常規的OTOME。然而,它需要大量的戰略計劃來提高統計數據,以便通過遊戲中的各個階段。

I found this game to be really fun and enjoyable. awesome.
When i first bought the game i thought it would be a regular OTOME. However, it requires plenty of strategic planning to raise the stats in order to pass the stages in the game.

在我未能進入下一階段的比賽中有很多次。例如,提高角色的統計數據是一項挑戰。在遊戲的第二學期,重要的是要確保所有男孩都在你的決賽中團隊解鎖到男性角色的路線。

There were many times in the game when i had failed to move on to the next stage. For example, it was a challenge to raise the stats of the character. In semester 2 of the game it was important to make sure all boys were on your final to team to unlock the routes to the male characters. 😊😊😊

This game really worth it! Well I just completed 1 character, and it used more than 5 hours in first round :) Such a sweet story even if sometimes it's easy to predicted but I still like it! If you are looking for love visual novel. This's one of the choices :)

PS. Oh, but there are some crash in game, like 2 people repeat same sentense (me/ what? I missed sth? Why they said same sentence? And the answer is no) Annoy but can ignore.

A really interesting otome game, where you are on your way to be a master pastry chef! At first I found it a little confusing, but to be honest I was surprised of how good where the tests you take at the academy and the character's routes. It's very entertaining and I like the fact that you actually need certain statistics to advance not only with the story but to gain your favorite boy's heart! Because just "picking" the correct answer would be boring.
Highly recommend trying this one, I got it on sale and I wasn't expecting to play it for so many hours!! Loved it!

It's s cute game with pretty art and distinct characters. The different options for raising stats was fun and also introduced interesting side characters (who i'd love to see more of, seriously Reims and The art teacher? What happened there?). I liked the pacing, though the first part wasn't very clear on the amount of days you had (said months but was in reality like 10days. Maybe I misread it?)
The translation to English wasn't always smooth, but I understood what it meant and found the odd sentences kinda funny.
My main issue is that (note that I've only played Haunan Ye's Intense route) it feels like two games. You soend most of it as an aspiring pastry chef looking for your past. You go to college, do class stuff and pass the strict exams so you can go on an internship. I oicked going into society and ended up taking over a host club which I then turned into a butler club, all at the ripe old age of 18. What happened to the mystery of my past? Though, I suppose that's found it a different route, it just seems weird to 'forget' it. And also not even be doing much with pastries save the new 'stat building/cafe upgrade' part which feels more like a cheap cafe management game than the VN you started with. It just feels disconnected.

That said, I did enjoy the main part of the game and I'm curious about whether I can help the cloaked uncle get over his cough.

I really am torn about whether to recommend this game or not. The English translation is BAD. At best it is awkward, at worst it does not make sense, and sometimes it contradicts itself. But, if you can look past that this really is a gem of a game.
The gameplay is stat based, but mixes things up periodically so that you're building stats in different ways for different systems. The art is nice, and the music is lovely. The story is sweet and silly with a cast of supporting characters, and multiple endings for each route.

I greatly enjoyed this game despite the flawed translation.

DISCLAIMER- So I really wish there was a middle option for the recommend because my review of it will be just that.

So first off, the translation....it was so bad at parts and really hindered the story at times. However, the story was pretty short and cute with you being able to romance just about every character you come across. The endings were all pretty cute, but none of the characters really stood out to me. I can't say that the story is very deep but with the translation being as bad as it is maybe I missed some nuances. If you are a fan of Otome games or just want to kill a few hours this is a good game. It's not the best or the worst in it's genre, it's just sort of middle of the road with a good price tag and cute story.

Really amazing, complex game. A lot more than I was expecting from it. There's well developed characters, well developed, very separate, unique scenarios for each love interest and a lot of world building. I enjoying this a lot and actually doing each route. I'm on my third guy now, one left.

Awesome game! Really fun, teaches you a lot about tea and pastries too. Going to favorite this one!

The only con is that the translation is rather terrible, but I'm not overly bothered by this sort of thing. The story isn't incoherent, just the grammar is off.

I think the art is beautiful and the mechanics looked fun. However, I couldn't cope with the English translation (it wasn't good I'm afraid) and it put me off playing it.

A cute little game, with a few quiz's to make sure you're paying attention...or that you know how to look things up on google. The love interests are your normal variety, though the reputation type meter is interesting. A easy 4 hours per playthrough if you don't skip the cutscenes.

Don't bother buying or playing this unless you love reading broken English. The developer put zero effort into the English translation and possibly just google translate, copy and paste each dialogue with no consistency at all. The storyline are just mediocre. The CG for the endings are quite badly drawn when compared to the usual interactions and profile pictures. It's like they just decided that they got bored with making this and just slap any artwork for the endings. 'Nuff said.

I liked it. I give it 4* out of 5* if Steam had a rating system like that. I liked it except for the lack of a fast forward button. I also disliked the game grinding that takes you through the trouble of collecting stats (visit different locations and increase different stats, collect coins, increase favor with different characters, and purchase supplies with in-game earned coins. On the plus side, it's not hard to get each stat where you want it to be or increase favoritism with the required NPCs. If this were to ever become more complicated, I would demand a fast forward button before I play it again.

Definitely worth it and I love it. I only finished two endings of the red-headed guy's route. The game was nice enough to warn me to save before making the choice that lead to the bad ending (which is really good and gets the adrenaline rushing). The choice that lead me to the good ending is very similar to the bad ending only you escape the consequence. After escaping the consequence, you do some more game stuff to increase stats, meet the boyfriend, talk, kiss, then it ends. The ending was a let down and I hope there are other endings but I just don't want to take the hour required to click through everything and make the appropriate choices to explore. I'll eventually go back and explore a different route using a few of my save points. Hope it's worth the effort but I don't trust it or other otome stories to make it.

So, this is a decent game? with two major cons.
• poor translation (not so poor I couldn't read it, but maybe I've had enough practice)
• art from like 30 different unrelated projects stuffed into one game.

Can you get past these things? if so... this game actually has quite a lot to offer. I was able to bypass a lot of the stat raising and management parts in the early game cause I started with 10k for some reason? I have no idea if that was a bug or not.. but it probably helped make my experience a positive one honestly.

Anyway, once you get out of school and pick a path to follow? they're all very distinct. Which is unusual for a VN. You can try and find out about your parents, you can work as a hostess and start a club, you can travel around and ditch your boyfriend for the teacher... , or you know actually start a bakery. Each route has management stuff that is unique to it as well, so managing a club doesn't feel like managing a bakery.

If it had more polish this game would be a gem. Still, it is better than a few other titles on steam, and I hope you enjoy it should you give it a chance. ^^

This game is ADORABLE! There are two secret lovers which may be short but are fun to experience. I found myself enthralled with all of the bachelors and was happy to be able to get friend hearts up for other npcs to get useful items, it makes it feel like your time spent with npcs is worth it. Overall the detail isn't great, it jumps from strangers to undying love quickly but the art and love parts were a good experience. Overall I would have loved more depth. It is a good otome though! There are certain points you need to make to pass each semester and for the bachelor you want. I'm not sure what happened to my game, but I installed it and opened it and when I started my file I had 10,000 coins which I know shouldn't have happened looking at the walkthrough so I had an amazingly easy ride as I never had to take jobs for coin and prioritize my routes. That was fine by me though as I'm normally in it for the cute boys over doing little tasks.

Right so.. Once again the english-speaking audience is getting bleeped in the bleep.
The translation is doable in the beginning of the game, but once you reach the 2nd semester to internship it goes completely downhill :X
No proper interfaceguide to the game - so sorry, if you want to skip, you're in it for a lot of repeating, unless you can magically activate the skipping.

If you really want it, don't bother the full prize, if you're lucky, sometimes they have a sale where it's under a euro.

Not only it consist of lovely story lines and plots which you can highly expected from an Otome Visual Novel, the soundtracks are especially soothing and pleasing to the ears, which fits perfectly together with its beautiful illustrations and breathtaking scenery designs.

One of the features which I would like to highlight is the little management game in the pastry shop at Henry's route and the butler cafe at Hannan Ye's route are quite a genius idea. Moreover, I actually quite enjoy doing all these detective investigation mini game in the palace; seeking for clues of the heroine's origin and her parents' whereabout. These are something I hardly see and encounter in visual novel games, especially in Otome genre. So I am extremely pleased to see these features are available in Pastry Lovers.

Not to mention, other than romances, you will also learn a lot of knowledge in term of pastries, tea, coffee and more from different cultures such as Western, Italian, Japanese and Chinese. This is honestly one of a very creative ways to enhance a lady's intelligence 😜

The only con from this game is the English translation - however I personally do not see it much of a trouble; considering the meaning of each lines in the story plots have truly well received to my understanding. Hence, there should be no boundaries in term of understanding the stories nor the dialogue.

Overall, it is a pretty good Otome visual novel game. I honestly enjoy it throughout the whole game and the price is very fair (In fact, I think it is quite bargain considering the rich story content in term of various of endings available to be achieve). For those who enjoy playing Otome games, I highly recommend you to try this out.

Thank you so much 橙光游戏 for making this wonderful visual novel game. It is sincerely a great gaming experiences. Once again, thank you for the game 🙏

Oh my, where to start. ahhhh.
I really would have paid a lot more for this game, It's worth it. I need to give more money to the creator If not I should feel guilty forever. Seriously this is such a complete cute-style game. Pleaaaaase why It's so cheap. The characters are awesome from A to Z. I love the cute style of the designer. It has sooo many characters on it...I mean even the not so much important characters are fully drawn, not like MCL and the NPC's that are just an effing shadow and no more! pleaaase. This game It's more worthy than it's own price. The story of every character It's very nice done too, you have some random scenes that happen on specific times. The soundtrack It's cute and magic, very special to me. The landscapes are very nice too. I love this game, I would like more like this.

Originally buying this game, I really wasn't expecting much. I love dating sims, shoujo, and baking themed media so buying it regardless of the quality was really a no-brainer for me. Contrary to my expectations, this game's mechanics are easy to master and the story line sucked me in within a matter of 15 minutes. I can't particularly say that the characters are the most unique, but I've been having a lot of fun navigating the game and meeting the layers of requirements. Baking trivia, shopping, romancing the characters, and building friendships with the other characters has all been a lot of fun and I most certainly plan on completing the other routes. All in all, it's a very easygoing game that accurately hits a large set of very specific niches that I very much enjoy.

I bought this game for a mere .49 cents and it is definitely worth it! I would even buy it at $5! The score is really under-rated. The story-line and plot is fantastic. The character design and interaction is beautiful and entertaining. I would recommend to all otome game lovers and simultator lovers!!!!

This game is cute really cute. you'll probably want to look up a guide for the first semester in school, but the rest isnt quite so hard.

pros- cute characters!
variety of options.
easy to follow storyline.
ability to save anytime (I absolutely hate when games wont let you save)

cons- its very grindy at the beginning.
Its really easy to fail the first semester.
KINDA SPOILY Ive only completed one ending (christopher's) and it was kinda disappointing, You dont even get a kiss! just the promise of a future relationship that you dont get to see any of.

Fun and worth playing? Yes! Strange translation? Yes! This game is not for those who are pissed off by translation errors or bad spelling. However, it is pretty damn cute and is easier to play without a route guide than many, since you can just focus on feeding people for a lot of it.
Edit: my biggest complaint about the game is the somewhat small number of save slots. There are a few really essential choices, and if you miss them, you could end up having to replay a bunch of the game (with no "skip" feature).

Yes, there's translation problems in english but I still enjoyed this game a lot. I liked the story and couldn't really choose which was my favorite ending. This visual novel has crafting and time management too!

Super Ass Poop 64

Very poor translations and a solid amount of bugs for what otherwise could've been a cute game. Game would often freeze up entirely or stop responding, and that's not to mention the outright difficulties in understanding the story half the time as a result of poor translation. Has a lot of promise if it can be tweaked.

In general i liked it.
It is kinda basic leaning into "clasic". Sakura (MC) has a very defined personality, she is not a blank slate for self insert nor stupid as a lot of MC tend to be. I liked the characters in general and enjoy most of the routes and epilogues (especially Henry's epligue... loved it).

As counterpoint, yeah the translation is bad (im not a native english speaker but i could undertand it just fine... the random mixed pronoums throw me off sometimes). And for specific quests in some routes were difficult to follow bc there's no indicator of progress.

About the routes:
Ye's route is the bad boy route and could contain some situations were he is a little forceful. It was ok.
I had my hopes on Cristopher's route. It wasn't bad but it wasn't really satisfying and the epilogue was the same, it felt incomplete. While the others show you the aftermath and how life went for the couple.

I don't know if its just me but whenever I do the practical operation it keeps freezing. When it starts and I get it wrong I can't go back anymore. It just says Incorrect and it just stays like that that I tried clicking back. So then I restart it again and get past that part but then when the next part it automatically says Incorrect and I haven't clicked anything yet, which it then freeze up again. I restarted it again just to make sure if it was just me or the game but every time I did it again it would just freeze again on the same spot.

This is torture.
Every dialog MUST be skip by a mouse click.
No skip, auto or Ctrl.

So,
Chap 1 to 5 is 1 hour clicking.
Chap 6 (need to be done 4 times (one per ending) for all achievements... it's 1h each)

Something around 5 hours clicking non-stop on your mouse (and using correctly saves) should do the job.
It's everything except enjoyable.

Gameplay: 2/10 (make a story enjoyable. This game feel like someone just read me his auto-biography in pastry class with 0 story line. No story.)
Translation: is 5/10 (somewhat make sense as *engrish*)
Engine: -2/10 (Unity for dialog game is just a torture)
Score: 1.6/10

Pastry Lovers is a sweet and wholesome game about a girl, Sakura, who was abandoned by her family and raised at an orphanage in the West Isle. Her former family left nothing to her except a note with her name on it and a notebook filled with pastry recipes that was her fathers. Using this book, she aspires to be a famous pastry chef! She will have to go to the main continent of Carseland Kingdom and enroll in the prestigious St. Patras College to pursue her dream! During her time there, will she find clues to her hidden past?

While in the College, she meets Prince William, Christopher DM, Henry Yin, and Hannan Ye! Will she find her fated partner?

This was a surprisingly enjoyable management VN, and for the $5 price tag is an absolute steal. It took me about 9 hours to do everything the game has to offer. The only downside is that there is no Auto and Skip buttons available, which is rather pesky for a 9 hr VN.

Yukiko ~Snow Child~
Yukiko ~Snow Child~

Pastry Lovers is short little novel about an orphan girl who dreams of becoming a pastry chef in a country where pastries are only enjoyed by the rich and noble.

It took me about three hours to finish and get William's ending. Since I didn't save far back enough, I need to start over to see the other three endings. It's quite a bit of work for a visual novel that only differs in story around chapter 6. You are allowed to fast forward if you hold the mouse down, but whatever.

There are several bugs in the game. One is the fact that you can start with max gold. Another is a soft lock during an exam early on. The soft lock can be avoided by getting the question correct the first time. The second question of the exam will always start off wrong. Just get it right the second time and you should do fine. I'm not sure what causes the gold glitch or if there is a workaround.

The translation could be better. If you have a good grasp of the English language, you'll understand what's going on, but pronouns and a lot of sentences are going to sound weird. Even so, I have definitely seen worse translations.

Despite all this, I think Pastry Lovers is a very good game. If you're looking for a short and sweet visual novel, I highly recommend this one.

Sora Kara no Yuki
Sora Kara no Yuki

There is no skip on this game but you can fast forward by holding down left (or right) mouse button.

If you are very particular with grammar and such then this game is not for you. There are some parts that are subject to interpretation because I couldn't understand them at all.

BUT. I really loved this game. I have tried several otome games and this is the first one that I finished all routes in one sitting. Yes, I slept the following day LOL. The routes are all interesting, the MC is not dumb, and the LIs have different personalities.

I can't even begin to explain how bad this game is.
The translation is terrible, the menu design is really bad, story is shallow and predictable af and the game in general controls pretty bad (no keyboard input, just mouse, which is ????).
Playing this was pure self induced pain.

Faleeria

Under certain circumstances, I will recommend this to you.

Now, listen to me before we get into this: I will say that if you want an otome game that has a good story and appealing characters, then you should accept that "Pastry Lovers" is not the game you're looking for. That's why I'm generally saying, I won't recommend this. Especially in comparison to other otome games on Steam, this one, unfortunately, can't compete.

However if you want to have a good laugh, go ahead and see if you can grab "Pastry Lovers" on sale. I got it for less than a dollar and you know what? That was worth it.

To clarify a few basic things: The characters are not very intersting. They exist and I didn't care about them to be honest. They're very "trope-oriented", which means they're nothing special. For some otome games this is normal and I will admit that this wasn't the part that made the game "bad" (though they didn't really improve the game's quality either). The story... I think the general idea is kind of cute and could be interesting but god, the execution is horrible in so many ways. The dialogue is terrible. You will read a lot of sentences that don't just sound bad but also make no sense (context-wise). There were many moments where I simply sat in front of my PC and had a huge question mark above my head (figuratively speaking, of course). Another part that heavily drags down the story is the translation. The English used here truly is awful. I hate to say it but it can be a pain to read whatever is going on because you will constantly question what the characters are talking about since some parts are so oddly phrased. A lot of things in here don't make sense.

These reasons make the game a sad example in the genre of otome games. The whole "earn points to get with your favorite character"-system was something I personally didn't enjoy but I know there are a lot of people who think differently so I'll leave that up to you to decide.

However, the negative points of the game were the reason I enjoyed it too. The poor translation made me laugh a lot of times and the weird plot was hilarious as well. So again, if you want to enjoy yourself because of some ridiculous content, go ahead and buy this game. I think if you have friends who play otome games/visual novels this might be even funnier. Since there is no voice acting you could read out these badly translated sentences to each other. I believe that would make up for quite an interesting evening.

To mention something positive though, I think the art was cute and fit the whole concept of the game very well!

In general, I want to say that this game isn't worth its original price but hey, some entertainment for less than a dollar? I'll take that. Unfortunately though, I will have to say this game is not an example of a good otome game. There are much better options out there.

misobuttercornramen

I recommend this game generally, but it's at a 60:40 ratio of recommend to not recommend. (See "The Ugly" section for a HUGE detractor.) Pastry Lovers is a mixed-gameplay visual novel featuring a 16-year-old female protagonist named Sakura who wishes to become a pastry chef, which is a renowned and highly coveted position in her kingdom of *snorts* Carseland. She works hard to get a scholarship to the prestigious St. Patras College, which specializes in pastry-making, as she is an orphan, and along the way makes new friends, romantic interests, and discovers more about her parentless background.

This game features stat-raising, but beyond the first story section, managing stats is easy enough, as there isn't a corresponding "negative" stat like fatigue. Sakura's free days are split into three parts, plus a night-time event; during the day, players can choose to visit different locations where they will raise stats and befriend the secondary characters, while at night, the options are to bake delicious cakes and visit Sakura's beaus to raise their affection. Eventually, the story branches off into four paths, where Sakura can accompany different love interests ("LIs") to different potential career paths as she enters the internship stage of her academic career. The LIs include: the kindly professor; the noble; the talented genius; and the seductive gangster.

The Good:
+ MC Sakura Asakawa is your average honest, kind heroine. She is adequately developed, her reaction choices are diverse, and she has ambitions beyond simply falling in love. (Love actually never enters her radar until the tail-end of the route.)
+ The individual routes offer different styles of gameplay, from business management of a cafe to typical otome visual novel sequences. I liked the variety, though see "The Ugly" for what parts were done well.
+ The love interests were generally interesting. Were they complex and memorable? Perhaps not, in the grand scheme of all games, but at least while I was playing this game, I had enough interest and attention to want to find out what happened to them or with them. They all fell pretty neatly within their tropes, but it didn't bother me too much. One of the LIs looks like Pent from Fire Emblem, and I am loving it.
+ I liked most of the endings. There is a good variety, and sometimes you get ones where the MC and her beau end up happily ever after pursuing their shared love of pastry, or you get ones where MC doesn't make it with the LI but strikes it out on her own or with a friend.
+ There are actual, developed female friend supporting characters in this game, one of which has romantic undertones. I kid you not. Sakura has two at her school and then she has an encounter with a rival in another route that ends pretty satisfactorily. That isn't to say there aren't any witchy rival characters, as there certainly are--however, they pick on Sakura and her friends out of competition and snobbery, not out of a love rivalry.
+ The background art is really nice and surprisingly detailed.

The Meh:
o Music and graphics are proportionate to the game price. The CGs are a tiny bit amateurish, or at least lack clean lines, and the soundtrack is a generally unoffensive riff off of common tunes.
o Story is a bit touch-and-go. The intro is extremely short and lacking in any sort of explanation. We just get a simple explanation that the people of Carseland (lol) love their desserts, so pastry chefs are highly renowned and that only the richest can afford to train. This setting was a bit puzzling to me. The story does improve as the game goes on, first when Sakura enters the college and begins finding clues to her background, and then as she embarks on her LI routes. So I would not categorize the story as cerebral, but it is also thankfully not over-the-top dramatic.
o Miscellaneous info-dumps. There are sections where you get a lot of real-world information about pastries, tea, farming, etc. Some of it was interesting, but every so often my eyes would glaze over...... and I would think, "Why? What's the point of including information that is this detailed? It doesn't have an effect on the story."
o I wasn't affected personally, but I could see people who get this game anticipating a lot of romance be let down. The romance is very subtle, and even in the individual routes, the focus is about evenly divided between the internship goal and the relationship.

The Ugly:
- The editing. OH MY GOSH THE EDITING. It is terrible. I didn't have too many issues with understanding the basic story line and dialogue since I have ESL/EFL relatives, but especially during times when the story or narrative would change to convoluted explanations of the history of tea, I would get lost. If I were to record all of the awkward phrasing, spelling mistakes, contextual mistakes, there would probably be at LEAST one per segment of clickable text. That is a lot. I didn't hate it enough to want to rage-quit the game, but it did get pretty tedious. When a game is 90% text-based, the text does need to be on-point, or at least precise enough to not detract from one's ability to read and understand. The mistakes are all over the board too: awkward phrasing, spelling errors, MC's last name is Asakawa but is frequently misspelled as Assakawa (lol), sometimes the same text dialogue appears over and over or repeats itself in a loop, some of the characters are referred to by multiple names or titles without any explanation.
- Though I would definitely not categorize this as the worst, sometimes gameplay can get repetitive, which is usually prevalent in stat-raisers. It's really only terrible in one individual route, when you attempt to go for the multiple endings due to the gameplay mechanisms of that particular route. At one point, I was afraid my mouse was going to expire due to all the click-clicking.
- There is no skip-read option, which can be difficult when attempting to replay. There is a fast-forward option that is very effective, but you will likely zoom by unread text and be forced to move on or re-load.
- The CGs are a little amateurish, especially compared to the background and sprite art. The lines could use some cleaning and the proportions are off.

TL;DR review is it's a light, fluffy visual novel about a girl who wants to be a pastry chef, who finds love while pursuing her ambition. It's good for a one-and-done play, but if you are sensitive to underdeveloped storylines and bad editing or struggle with reading, then I would not recommend this game.

First note: There is no yuri route. Lina's was implied in the story but there's an extension with her.
If you're the type who plays following an order, I'd say do the routes like this:
Christopher->Henry->Haonan Ye->William
but you do you.

It may seem like I didn't play this at all but I played the game completely offline. Got all endings and achievements, and also read through the extensions. Give or take ~14 hours in a span of 2 days.

I can say that this game is absolutely great if you want a short but sweet experience. Maybe learn about a thing or two about baking .. The stat raiser is very forgiving in the common route but when you do the stat raisers in William and Henry's route, it's a lot less forgiving so be on the lookout for that.

The art is decent, and the music does its job. I will say that the Game CG vs character & character sprites threw me off but at that point I could forgive it. Wished they used more character voices because those were heavily underutilized. Only Lina and Christopher ever had them.

About the story. It's pretty straightforward and you can piece it all together even when you don't quite go with the "True Route". It's just a really damn sweet game. You can't hate on it but saying you absolutely adore it might be a bit much. It's superficial at times and glosses over character dynamics which doesn't sell you on why the MC and the LI could be a good match or why a certain guy is your fave. You just have to look at their archetypes and roll with it.

The whole visiting their bedrooms, really wish there were more than a few lines that are relevant to the main story or how they feel about you. Like each time we get them to a full heart can we get mini scenarios about their dreams and aspirations, things they like, or dislike, etc.

If there's one thing I'm disappointed about the world building is that we never go to the Hot Island once. It was only ever really mentioned in class or in the William extension which is a shame.

I sound so negative but I seriously like this game. It's just my entire experience can literally be described as "I think its a cute little game" so it doesn't sound like much lol.

My non-spoiler review of each guy:
If we're talking about favorite LIs I have none. What I can say is that I probably like Henry the least. I don't hate him but he ain't my cup of tea.

Christopher DM- Sweet, Gentle, and Nurturing. If you're trash like me and like your Teacher x Student trope he's the guy for you (on a lesser degree, the big bro archetype). I just love how supportive he is, and that quiet kind of love. Patient, and calm he wants the best for you without forcing himself to make you decide.

Henry- Cold, and smart. An ice king, a kuudere! with some tsun traits. A fellow S student like you but better. Despite his seemingly perfect grades and superior skills in baking, he's a hard worker that has an ambition. He's a good boy, please give head pats.

William- He's is a flirt. I'm sold. The must have Prince character. Charming and friendly, no one outside your social circle knows his true status. Not the best baker but he's got presentation skills locked in. I can't really talk much without going into spoiler territory. Just know I love him.

Haonan Ye- He's a redhead, I'm sold. He gave you a nickname and he's the rich bad boy type. He looks hot in a suit. That or my red hair bias is clouding my judgement. If you like possessive types, he's your man. If this man could speak, he'd growl.

Spoiler territory for the boys:
You have been warned
In the achievement menu you can see the number of endings each guy has. Interestingly enough Henry and Christopher who only have 2 endings instead of 3 were given 2 CGs instead of 1. I guess it's the creators way of balancing it out. Also the bad endings here aren't that bad. Most of them, if you weren't to get the romantic ending, it would just show you living your life as a baker somewhere. With the exception of Haonan's Ending 3 where you two die in a fire

Christopher DM- My man over here had the easiest route to get both endings. No stat raisers, just click between option 1 or 2 and then you get their respective endings. I actually like the East Island, the art for the japanese food was mouth watering for me. I could feel the texture through the screen, or I was just hungry when I got to this point but shush. the thing I loved the most was after the confession underneath the moonlight, we went back to the old man with our assignments and the theme for both dishes was just so sweet. When it comes to character story, I think this route feels worse because you actually get to see the tomb of your mom without knowing who she was and it just hurts knowing you're so close yet so far instead of having no idea like in Henry or Haonan's routes. His g-dd-mned extension made me internally sob because he literally went out in a really harsh rainy weather to get some ingredients for us because we got sick and the place had no stocked food. Like b-tch, take care of yourself too. I love you, idiot.

Henry- ahh, in a world of nobility, he was the one assigned to have the noble marriage, family alliances trope. Can't really sh-t on his route because it was wonderful, even the stat raising had a progressing story and the other girl wasn't a mean b-tch. She had class and I respect that. I like how this relationship had a very nice build up on how they worked together to run this hopeless shop, how they both had their own dreams and lifted each other up. It was wholesome. I just wished we were kinda there when he confronted his parents and when the other girl decided to help out but y'know the reunion was very very sweet. I like sweet things

William- B!TCH, the moment I knew he was the prince character, I knew this was the "true route" (hell his extension even had a credits scene) and the guy where we can get info about our parents. He had the most annoying stat raiser element to his route since you have to get all fragments and when you're not counting... you can get lost and get ending 3, while ain't bad, is disappointing. I don't know what to tell you other than your typical royalty x commoner trope. Sweet and consistent~ My one complaint in this entire route is how they mention that the MC was being ostracized due to her status as an orphan towards the end but never really quite showed or expounded on that class difference with like the exception of the first time you met the guards or your initial meetings with Paris. Everything else is a-okay in my book. Dude, when he got sick and you did the typical put hand on his forehead and he blushed, my heart melted. I like this trope. Now blush more fool. The stories with the grandma and whenever William was there was nice. Made him seem like a guy who cares for his family. Can I just say I was enamored with that b-tch named Paris. Please flirt with me in front of your cousin. He's trash, and knows this. Ending 2 when he said though that I could be his mistress I was like fuck no. His character in ending 1 though? That's the good sh-t. Give me petty competitions between them. Now comes the whole family business in this route. Well... we now know that the creepy man we met in the slums was our dad and it never gets brought up again in ending 1 or the extension. Maybe we could've gotten some long lost family bonding or even go to East Island for closure. Missed opportunity writers. BUT! He had the most satisfying extension and you can't change my mind. The garden at night with the fireflies was the good stuff.

Wow there's a character limit? damn and I wanted to talk about how much I love Haonan too. RIP. MC had the best outfit here and if you like to play with fire ohoh. You also meet 4 hot NPCs. Nice. the only man we got to f-ck. Jealousy. Cute.

I wish there was a meh choice. It took me 8 hours to do all the routes, but I found the protagonist shallow and the romance almost non existent until the last chapter. There were a lot of repetitive days of going to the garden, studying, and eventually working. I don't mind repetitive tasks, but this dragged just trying to get enough charm or ascetic or blackening. Not terrible, worth $5 but you'll probably enjoy it more if you get it on sale.

This game is delightful! Fun characters and mini games and activities that don't feel pointless or time consuming for no reason. Genuinely fun and adorable. 10/10 better than some $30 otome on steam

I love the theme and the story of this game. Even some event feel a little unrealistic for me but it makes me happy very happy indeed .. I found myself like this kind of game after playing this game more. I like it overall.

This game is a wonderful, feel-good game! I've completed all of the number 1 (best) endings and found each story enjoyable.

I recommend building your favor with each guy at the same time and then saving before choosing a route so that you can complete more routes without having to play through the first part of the game again.

This is a fun, cute, feel-good game and honestly one of my favorite otome games so far!

My personal favorite was the teacher, but all of them were cute in their own way!

I recommend looking up a guide here on steam to get the 1 ending for your desired character(s). I also recommend trying to get S grade when you can (The first is pretty easy - just make sure to study at night instead of sleeping until you've unlocked the recipe in the book and then just make sure your other trait levels are high.)

Hi, how do I review this game..?

Secret boy is best boy.

The game does have translation issues....and a lot of them. But not so much that its unplayable. The music is nice, and the graphics aren't too bad either. The writing, besides the translation issues, is decent, especially for a 5 dollar game. When you get to your chosen boy it kind of turns into a different type game depending on who you pick.
The game itself isn't hard at all, I didn't have any trouble reaching milestones, and despite only working a little bit, I never ran out of money.
The main issue I had was when the translation on choices didn't really make sense. I'd advise saving before choices if youre worried about it, but making a 'wrong' choice didn't seem to effect much.

Get the game if it's on sale for a few cents. The writing is terrible (even if the translation was good), I had to take multiple breaks to calm myself. And good lord, the translation...It's like the theory that an infinite amount of monkeys could write Shakespeare in due time, but instead of monkeys it's a fecking peacock pecking at the type writer upside-down. The art sprites look nice, but the story is...Just suspend some belief and logic for you heart's sake because you don't need logic here.

I bought the game for shits a giggles because I had ran out of games and it was like 0.60$. Like dude, 60 Cents for a VN game with nice art? Hell yeah! But hell no. If you have nothing to play, buy it for 60 cent and kill time because I can not recommend the game for it's content. If you like otomes like:

Nameless(The one thing you must recall)[/url] and
[https://moonchimel.itch.io/i-love-you] I Love You, or even [https://synokoria.itch.io/halloween-otome] Halloween Otome, don't bother playing. Just replay those games and be happy, I now have to finish the game eventually because I want the achievements but I...do I really want to open the game? OMG I JUST REMEBER THE VILLAINS MY DEAR LORD. THE OPTIONS ARE SHITTY THE VILLAINS ARE SHITTY GHAAAAAAAAAA MY ANGER IS RISING JUST REMEMBERING THIS GAME.
DAMN IT!
