Rather limited in content, with no tutorial, but a very straight-forward objective. Go to different sectors of the map, defeat enemies located there, scavenge for loot and new recruits to your army, repeat until whole map is yours or your whole army is fallen.

The drag and drop feature to change your battle formation is fairly unresponsive and frustrating to use.

Not much balance near mid-to end game, when all the remaining sectors are teeming with an army of enemies that overwhelm you no matter what, making losing inevitable.

If you want my opinion on whether or not to buy the game, wait for some updates, then buy. Seems more like an early access than a full game.

Very relaxed game, no stress, just chill.
Also funny graphics and puns.
Recommended! :)

Pros:
- Easy to learn
- You'll have a few laughs with it
- Battle formations actually make sense (archers!)
Cons:
- One game is a bit short. I almost solved half the map after 1h
- Needs more items!

It's good fun, so it's an easy recommend. Worth the little money. :)

I've finished a couple of playthroughs of the game now and I enjoyed it quite a lot.

It took me a while, and a couple of goes, to figure out the strategy - especially mid-game.
I look forward to future updates!

This is a fun little time waster. It's very basic on the strategy side of things, but that's exactly what it's supposed to be. Watch the video for the game. What you see is what you get. I think it's worth the asking price, but if you don't think so, wait until it goes on sale and pick it up. You won't be disappointed.

Today is unfortunately a sad day. This one will be the first review where I feel I can't recommend it.

Everything has it's market and niche. So I can almost always say I would recommend a game, so far, because I can always imagine a person that I would genuinely recommend it too.

I can't with this.

There isn't a great deal right with it, just... Have you watched the little promo video and seen the screenshots? Great. Now you've played the game. All of it. That's it. That's the entire game right there. Every piece.

Other small indie games offer value to the gamer. Tiny Battle SImulator doesn't offer anyone any value unless you're the developers wallet. It’s a glorified game of chess, played against a 2 year old that lets you have 20 moves to their 1.

You're paying for a game that is essentially a low end flash game. I've seen and played games like this on flash sites, and frankly mostly better than this (some are quite amazing) more times than I care to remember... and they're all for free.

Now hang on, I don't begrudge anyone making money, I run my own business. I encourage people to make money. Just aleast make sure you’re offering actual value, and not just adding pointless refuse to the market though.

As it stands, I can't help but feel like this developer has made this just to jump on the "indie game developer" money train. I couldn't find an someone that I’d recommend this game too, that I wouldn't first recommend a flash site too. Or a cup of tea and a game of chess.

I'll be back in 12 months to at least give this developer a fair chance. Until then, I strongly recommend a flash site, or something else.

Also, very suspect reviews.

(EDIT: February 11th, 2020. Been 12 months, give or take. Given it another go, and it's still just as boring and empty. Not worth your money, folks.)

A fun little game.
I played through twice to 100% the game.

I read some complaints about getting troops into position.
I had no problems.

It depends on luck, so your results may differ, but I had no problem 'recruiting' new troops.
It wasn't easy but it wasn't a problem either.

It very much helps to fight with numerical superiority, nothing new there, but it's not needed to prevail.
I won one battle with 18 on each side.
Better weapons, armor and how you position your troops have more bearing on victory ( more nothing new under the sun ).

This isn't a complex game from a major developer in the genre.
It's a wee game and it's fun.
The full price, $4.99 USD, is a fair price.

What are you waiting for?
Buy this game!

Edited for clarity.

It gets boring after a few hours i thought there would be a randomly generated map but no same map and it gets dull

Tiny Battle Simulator is a fun little distraction. I played it in short bursts as a break game.

There is strategy in how you arm your soldiers and where you put them on the battlefield. I’ve replayed a few battles to test it and it actually can give drastically different outcomes. The battle themselves are a hands off affair, you’ve no input there, which I like. The tongue in cheek names are a nice little extra.

Will this game keep you playing forever and ever? No luckily that is not the case, you also get to do other things with your life. Still as a fun break game it does well.

pls add a sandbox mode i think that would fit perfectly into a game like this also this game is awsome

Decent little game, there is some customization for your army, and formations, but its generally if you outnumber them and put your range in the back you should be ok. It is fun and def not a long game so it can be played quickly. Overall I would recommend it at the price, and have included a video of the first 10 minutes+ of game play.
