I'm genuinely astounded by the number of positive reviews. This is one of the worst games I have ever purchased on Steam, it came for, basically, free with a bundle I purchased and it is less than worthless to me as it simlply lies in my library with achievemnts that I'll now have to spend hours and hours attempting to get.

THIS IS WORSE THAN ANY BRIDGE BUILDING GAME ONLINE. GO TO NEWGROUNDS/ADDICTINGGAMES/ARMORGAMES.

I don't care where you go, just don't give these developers another cent, the controls are shit, there is little to no explanation for how to do anything, other than the game doing everything for you.

Leave this game's store page as soon as you possibly can.

I can assure you from personal experience that you will find more pleasure eating a 5 gallon bucket of broken glass then you will playing this game.

Would be much more fun if you wouln't be forced to move only on the bridge girders in order to reach the cheese, so the game could gain at least some replayability.

But it has a low price especially during Steam-Sale, so you'll maybe already satisfied with the trading cards & achievements. ^^

This is the best game I have played in years! I couldnt stop thinking about all the lore for this game! Such as, Where are the rats travelling? Why are there landscapes filled with saws? And many more things. The Character development was brilliant! I hope to see more games like this to come!

Jest to najlepsza gra grałem od lat! Nie mogłem przestać myśleć o całej wiedzy o tej grze! Takich jak, gdzie szczury podróży? Dlaczego nie Krajobrazy wypełnione pił? I wiele innych rzeczy. Rozwój postaci był genialny! Mam nadzieję zobaczyć więcej gier, jak to przed nami!

I love a good puzzle game and this game does an 'ok' job to satisfy my puzzle-game cravings, It is so, because you are building bridges to help the two mice reach the cheese, but the component of reaching 3-stars is more puzzling than building the bridges to reach the cheese. I've played a few levels now where I have no clue how 3-stars can be reach, but I can definitely solve how to reach all the cheese successfully.

The physics behind this game can be frustrating, but easily adaptable as you play. Once you've played a few rounds, you'll understand that if the mice are walking on it, you'd expect how much the bridge may or may not dip and hit a saw. Similarly, understanding how to swing the bridge unintentially to obtain the cheese.

Overall, I'd give this a 5.8/10. If you are aiming for 3-star completion every round, this game might cause more frustration than satistfaction. I recommend it as a game to pass time and pick up again when you want to play a puzzle game.

If you want to play a lame clone of the much better World of Goo then go ahead and waste your time with Ratventure. I should warn you before buying that not only is this a bad game, but a number of people (including myself) have encountered problems even getting this game to run.

I wanted a bridge builder game -> This was NOT it.

Bad design. Bad mechanics.

I would rather play any of the free flash-built bridge builder games in the web browser.

Cannot change the screen resolution

Turtorials are too simple for players

There are too much limits to player as a either puzzle or simulation game, it is more like a adventure game, all routes are planned; not much creativity.

Can only undo once; Hints are too simple and pointless; Bridge cannot be built precisely.

Moreover, I get sucked in 2nd level, donot know why cannot get the cheese and have no idea what the little bugs do.

If you are looking for some "building bridge" game, do not buy this, they are not the same in any ways.

There are fun bridge builder games that are free or much cheaper. This one is boring as hell and mechanics are bad and it's really hard to get 3 stars rating on most of the levels. Like, annoyingly hard.

I like puzzle games, but they have to be consistent. Tiny Bridge isn't.

It's not a bad game. It won't break your computer or grope your sister. It's just not very good.

A mildly interesting concept moderately well realized leads to a generally okay puzzler. It's alright, I guess. It's resolutely meh.

If you want something to kill a little time with, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

it's a terrible game, no creativity at all. If I could refund it I would but I got it in a bundle with a game that I did want and do enjoy. I pretty much paid 50 cents for this and it's not even worth that. It's clunky, if a level if badly constructed you can't skip it. It's also got ugly rats :/ I was hoping on this being a casual bridge builder but, it being a children's game you can't even use as many bridge pieces as you want when the game mechanics are failing you (to use an alternative route)

it's like a 2/10 maybe. It did give me three trading cards in a fairly short time period *sigh* (that's the only reason I put 30 minutes in it instead of 8)

It makes fun to solve the levels.

TLDR: Lackluster featureset. Tablet leftover instructions and control scheme. The art works nicely. Mice navigation and coding of surfaces suffers from arbitrary design.

A title with not much under the hood, limited settings, no fullscreen, tutorials with swype gestures and a finnicky mechanic to build and move mices towards cheese. It is easy to overbuild over the cheese rendering it inaccessible and mices although they start on grass will only walk when clicking at joints between the wooden beams forcing you to build on hard surfaces for no reason. The art style of the mices catches the eye and the music is appropriate, not grating, and does not loop in a manner that is jarring. The slightly washed out pastel colors also help not to burn your retina.

This game was fun - UNTIL near the end. It becomes almost impossible (even with screenshots of the runthrough) . I didn't finish the last few levels and totally gave up. What a pity you couldn't skip a level.
However, it was an inexpensive game and mostly fun.

SilverAgeFan
SilverAgeFan

Completely unenjoyable title with a clunky interface, inaccurate hit boxes, and merciless level design that will forever mar my achievement total.

If it comes to you in a bundle as it did me, avoid playing. If you run it for the cards, avoid getting the first achievement from finishing a level.

And if you are considering buying this title outright as a singular purchase, simply don't.

The game starts out fun in the first few levels but it quickly becomes a frustrating exercise. The worst aspect of this game is that if you fail a level, you have to re-build the entire structure from scratch! Having to re-do a 40 piece bridge again and again is frustrating. The rats are also dumb as rocks, the will willingly walk into buzzsaws and sometimes it's hard to tell when they're safe or not. In addition, it can be EXTEREMELY hard to get 3 stars in most stages since time plays a huge factor. I don't even know when or how I bought this game but I'm done with it.

Its almost impossible to complete most levels and you cant skip them. Even a walkthrough didnt help. Either way my sister is still addicted to this game and I cant play anything else on my computer because of her. I mean after all igo this for 25 cents soooo yeah. Im just gonna say its "good" because my sister likes it. But I don't.

I've never seen a way someone can screw up a bridge building game, now I do.
Everything in the game is too dynamic, the bridges sway too much, the fat rats weight too much so that the bridge easily collapses under their weight.
I'd expect to have shortcuts for building bridges and moving rats (having move rats assigned to right click would be ideal), but I expect that's too much to ask for.
There's no options menu, so you can't adjust anything or make the game full screen. You can turn off the sounds/music from the main menu though. As for the music - if you stay too long in a level the music track ends and you just sit there in dead silence.
I have no idea how to exit the game since every time I crashed out of it. Afterwards I either restarted it or just ragequit.
The game is finishable, yet very frustrating.

Since I spent 0,20€ and I got 3 trading cards out of it, I'm not too mad about it.

I think this is a nice physics game but the developers very well could have made it more enjoyable than getting this "you suck hard" impression during gameplay. For example skipping levels, undo button not only once but infinitely, the undo button should undo the physics too, not only the last move (it does not help undoing the last move if the whole construction is collapsing!).
I mean this is a game for god sake, not a university exam...

salparadise
salparadise

I figured, from title and description, that this is something like one of the bridge builder games.

It is nothing like it. Physics are wonky and there is only one perfect solution to each level.
If you want the maximum rating for each level (or all of the achievements) it basically means: build everything exactly as the developers planned it, without deviation.

Only an okay game for very casual players.

Needs improvement in spelling on some of the descriptions and a few bugs and unfairitys towards the player in game. The concept of the game however is nice and I personally enjoy it. It needs few minor updates and maybe a couple of major updates. They also need to make the game more 1. Possible 2. Understandable because they dont explain what do at the beginning with words and all they do is show you what do in hint. That isn't a hint. I know im being harsh but it's constructive criticism and I mean no Harm. I honestly like the game It's up to them to keep it how it is but otherwise just change a few things. Thanks!

I'd love my 0.49 cents back for this. Seriously. First, this game is unable to be set up for full-screen. An instand annoyance but, eh, whatever. Second, in order for the rats to actually move, you have to build the bridge exactly as orchestrated in hints. How are you even supposed to know what those parameters are without screenshotting each step along the way? Even if a bridge design is viable, the rats refuse to move and just stand there. Horrible game. I much prefered the Bridge Constructor Portal game over whatever this was supposed to be.

This game was very cute but I wouldn't have spent my 49 cents had I known what it was like beforehand. There are a lot of free games on the web that are pretty similar that I would rather play, mainly because I'm a cheapskate and they're all free. I liked the rats, though

For a long time I thought I won't play any low quality shitty games. But then I started this shit. This game is problably the worst game on Steam (atleast for AH). Some shitty games can be atleast done fairly fast but this takes too much of the precious time. To sum up this game pros and cons:
Negative
*Graphics looks terrible and animations are lame.
*Physics are avarage and sometimes they doesn't work like they should.
*Levels are the worst thing about this game. They are tedious and some are finishable only with a good luck or folowed specificly how the guide shows. They don't give a player different way to pass with max score.
*Guide doesn't show how to pass a level but rather how developer passed.
*Undo button offen fails and cripples entire structure. Offen after undoing the construction moves (gets closer to saws) or just freaks out and falls down.
*No sence of reason to solve any levels (just to feed rats)
*Player get 2 rats (one is overweight and other is too tall) that are useless (tall rat sometimes won't jump where is ordered but the fat one will).
*Building is terrible and even more when you have to build 3 bridges in a very short time
Positive:
*Has undo button that helps if construction isn't massive and not moving around
*Cheap
Conclusion:
If you like building things then this probably is "ok" game. But if you look for a game to 100% then just ignore this. Im my opinion this game has no reason to excist.

Tiny Bridge: Ratventure is a tedious bridge-building game that's neither worthy of your money nor your precious free time.

The annoyances hits you from the very beginning when you realise there's no fullscreen option, the kind of omission that sends the impression that the developers just don't give a damn. Not that the lack of options really matter once you get into the game and come to the conclusion that this isn't something you want to waste time on anyway.

The gameplay revolves around getting two mice to their delicious cheese by building bridges, using as few moves as possible. It's alright after the first few levels but soon becomes very repetitive and quite frankly boring. Certain design decisions adds several cups of annoyance to the mix, which results in a bland and extremely tedious experience.
There's a feature that lets you undo the last move but it doesn't always work and it rarely helps you anyway, forcing you to start from the beginning of the stage when you mess up. And everytime you restart, the game insists on showing you the goal of the level (Ok, go for the big cheese, I get it game, you can stop now).

To further help you on your quest you get a hint point after a certain amount of time and these lets you use the hint feature. When using a hint the game shows you how to complete the level with a 3-star rating. So, if you have tons of time and a good memory you could potentially use the hints for a 100% run. But does it sound like fun? Not exactly, and there's no room for error so you'll have to do precisely as shown by the hint.

Unless you're a bridge-builder fanatic and don't mind a mediocre game to get your fix, I really can't recommend this game.

Solidly average, mechanically mostly sound title which was good fun for a while and had a nice take on the bridge building genre. Nothing amazing, but also nothing terrible. Good fun while it lasted, probably wouldn't play it again - that sort of game. Get it if you feel like it.

Vintage chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients
150g salted butter, softened
80g light brown muscovado sugar
80g granulated sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 large egg
225g plain flour
½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
¼ tsp salt
200g plain chocolate chips or chunks
Method
STEP 1
Heat the oven to 190C/fan170C/gas 5 and line two baking sheets with non-stick baking paper.

STEP 2
Put 150g softened salted butter, 80g light brown muscovado sugar and 80g granulated sugar into a bowl and beat until creamy.

STEP 3
Beat in 2 tsp vanilla extract and 1 large egg.

STEP 4
Sift 225g plain flour, ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda and ¼ tsp salt into the bowl and mix it in with a wooden spoon.

STEP 5
Add 200g plain chocolate chips or chunks and stir well.

STEP 6
Use a teaspoon to make small scoops of the mixture, spacing them well apart on the baking trays. This mixture should make about 30 cookies.

STEP 7
Bake for 8–10 mins until they are light brown on the edges and still slightly soft in the centre if you press them.

STEP 8
Leave on the tray for a couple of mins to set and then lift onto a cooling rack.

RECIPE TIPS
FREEZING THE BISCUITS
If you’ve frozen the biscuits, take them out and arrange them on a lined baking sheet. Once defrosted, pop them in a medium oven 190C/170 fan/gas mark 5 and heat for 2-3 mins to crisp up. Don’t leave them too long or they’ll dry out.
STORING DOUGH
You can keep the uncooked dough in a sealed container in the fridge for up to two weeks. Simply take some out, dollop on a lined baking tray and allow to come up to room temperature for 5 mins before baking

I played it for 10 minutes when I first bought it a while ago. Then didnt play it for a few years. Played it again today and realised it was virtually impossible to get 3 stars on the levels. On level 3 you need 9/20 moves to get 3 stars but I got 10/20 with over 11,000 points and done in less than 30 seconds and still only got 2 stars when getting it done in 13/20 moves was also 2 stars.

The graphics and environment look great, but the implementation was terrible.

Having played numerous 'building' games like this, this one is weird in that you are building the structure with live physics at the same time. So you're playing (moving the mice, watching the structure sway and wobble) and building at the same time...

One of my bigger problems with the game is that the "hint" system doesn't provide hints; it simply shows you the solution...

I also have no idea what it takes to earn more stars. For example, on many levels I used only 8 out of 12 pieces, yet still only get 1 star on each of them...

I can't play this. 6 out of 10.

Buy world of goo instead and save money on this. It's a poor mobile world of goo clone.
The port is badly made. While UI is not best suited for desktop, it is fine. But there are no settings whatsoever, beside muting sound effects and music. No volume slider, resolution, fullscreen mode, nothing.

And if that wasn't bad enough, the game itself is not even fun. It feels more like a chore. Ropes don't reach very far, and you can't latch a new piece directly onto the rope, noooo. You have to grab the rope and connect it to the piece. Then we have shady character controls. You have to move rats manually across the bridge once it's done, and I don't mean just click a button and off they go. No, you must pick exactly where they'll go. And if it's a node a bit further away, they'll take the most direct path. Who cares if there's a sawmill of death in the way. A slight touch with the corner of their ear ,and it's game over, and then you have to rebuild the whole bridge, but to finish the level, they must almost cover that cheese.

Sorry but with all those problems this game is just not worth it. Even at 2 bucks.

The mechanics of the bridge making are actually quite okay for a game with such a low price point ,but the game lacks graphically and the music gets really annoying after a few hours , all in all the game seems like a huge chore that you shouldn't waste your time on with the array of games available like it on the market ,but judge for yourself as always.

This is the single hardest game ever created. To get three stars on each level you first need to go to an engineering school and take a 2 year class on bridge building and then you might have a chance to succeed in this game. After you've done that you need to deal with the absolutely fucking braindead fatass rats they are so fucking dumb and slow and they have sabotaged me so many times that I've lost count. I have such mixed emotions playing this game just like PolyBridge. On one end, you can't have it be too easy and on the other - it can't be pure insanity. This game, along with PolyBridge, flirts with that line. Getting three stars was difficult but not impossible. I think the game has been "nerfed" since it came out to make it more lax for 3 stars and I think it was a good thing. I think you might be able to add a move here and there on a few levels, but overall balance is good.

My only gripe is not knowing the requirements for 3 stars going into each level and if it was very obvious, it would be perfect.
