It's worth digging into the depths of the Steam platform from time to time to find such gems as Titanium Hound. An old-style platformer with beautiful pixel art. The colours and design of the city are a big plus. It's as if a computer graphic designer made the game. The story presented in the game is interesting and on the wave when Cyberpunk came out. I prefer games set in medieval times but TH drew me in a lot with what our game character goes through.
Nowadays there are few games that take up less than 1GB and you can drop in for a short while to play.

Bravo.

The game has a few downsides such as a cumbersome weapon/shield system, a sometimes uneven level of challenge, the mission loading animation in place of the narrator's dialogue and it's a bit short (7.5h for me) - but if you played the demo and liked it - seeing it on sale it's worth buying.

Proper old school brilliance. So many try and fail to do these. This is beautifully done - looks and sounds the part and is difficult, like games of this era were. Solid retro title and a no-brainer on discount :)

There are some really weird design decisions here that do not feel good to play. Even overlooking the obvious quality of life stuff like non-rebindable keys, the "Shared energy" system between gun and shield, and the REALLY TERRIBLE melee system, i can't recommend this game.

It's a pity, because the aesthetic is cool
