Toroom is a dungeon crawler roguelike-like top-down shooter, where the protagonist just wants to come back to his bedroom after waking up in a world of fantasy. Fight your way through multiple biomes, clear rooms full of enemies, get as much loot as possible and defeat the bosses in your way.

This is a fun yet infuriating game, but then again I've never really been good a games.
I have played this game for 7 hours and it has reinforced my beliefs that simple games are usually the best.
I recommend this game but then again I'm just a stranger on the internet.
When you enter a room from the top, you go through a small tunnel first making it near-impossible to dodge anything. You'll always get hit when entering a room from the top, making Hardcore runs near impossible unless you got the i-frame dodgeroll powerup.
Really vicious and fun game, it's not suffering when you die and needs to start a new run, that's a very important point at this kind of game. Very beautiful art.
This is an amazing roguelike, with a beautiful pixel art!
Lots of types of weapons for all kind of players, there's a lot of unlockable itens to unlock as you progress through this game.
Highly recommended game!
YOOOOOOOOO What a wonderful game! Extremely addictive (and a little difficult). You can see from afar the love that the developers put into the game. The art, mechanics and music are VERY AWESOME!!!1! 11/10!
This game, even on the easiest difficulty is too hard. Once again it's another game that you either get a weapon and early powers that carry you or you just suffer over and over and over again until you find one.
The only good run I got was one with lifesteal when you kill ennemies and a good staff. Even with stacking powerups I got destroyed by first boss.
This game is amazing, one of the best games I've played
Everything impeccable from art to mechanics and sounds
It's a great experience, neither too easy nor too difficult, very balanced
I recommend!!

The game is great, the history is simple but awesome. There are plenty of items and unique weapons. Really recommend it
Camera is too zoomed in for the room size. You'll get hit by projectiles coming from off screen that are hard to predict. Pretty annoying, but hopefully they can fix it. Boss difficulty is pretty high compared to regular enemies too, but that may be because you can't properly see. I'll give it a thumbs up cause it did come out yesterday, but wait a little bit before buying... at least in my opinion.
this game is awesome, the sounds combine perfectly with the game, an amazing gameplay that even when you die makes you want to try again, in addition to incredible graphics, the game's devs are to be congratulated, I recommend to play
This game is awesome, I love dungeon crawlers in general, but this game stood out for me.
The gameplay is amazing, several items that modify the way of playing and amazing builds to be assembled in the middle of the run, the arts are beautiful with lots of rooms you stop to enjoy the beauty, plus the wonderful soundtrack.
Tldr: Toroom is worth every penny and I will invest several hours in it.
This is perfect game, I love play games of Gagonfe dev, as it could not miss the leveling of the challenges and the gameplay progression is perfect.
Great gameplay and spectacular boss fights. great arts.
Awesome! I'm having a really nice time playing it.
Pretty good game but it has only one problem and that`s your hitbox... This is a serious problem, sometimes you don`t even touch enemy projectiles and they damage you... If they fix that the game would be great.
It's pretty okay, I wish like a lot of reviewers have said, that the camera was more zoomed out and that it was a bit easier. It has a lot of style but there isn't really much reason for me to return to it tbh.
It's fun to play!! It is a fun and quick game which you can play with friends or alone, both options are for a having a great time! I do wish a had better luck with items hahaha, welp. Overal, it is a very good and enjoyable game!! And pretty cheap!!
great game, but i wish there were weapon tiers, its difficult to tell which weapons are better than others
it's been years since i was caught up in replaying a rougelike the way i've been playing Toroom the last couple days. it's a small game and it uses its size efficiently. its got addictive punchy combat that veers in the direction of nuclear throne. the map layout and item pickup clearly evoke the binding of isaac. its a small collage of all the big pixely action rougelikes.
i am a complete sucker for cute colorful pixel graphics (also cute animal characters) and simple fast top down combat. its been awhile since i've see anything under the "action roguelike" tag that fits those criteria, so i'm very glad to have found this game
Toroom reminds me a lot of playing enter the gungeon back when it first released in 2016. its a bit rough but its a completely solid experience as is and i am definitely going to be putting at least few dozen hours into this
a nice rogue-like challenge and i really love it. its simple yet difficult and love the art style of this game. Because it is hard its hard to get past the first level so it can get boring fast, but once you beat that first boss itll keep you engaged :D
this game is awsome just mety is trash
EXTREMELY simplified roguelike in the style of Issac, but with all depth removed and gameplay that does nothing to fill that void. Oh but I guess the art is decent, so that's something
There aren't really any choices to be made, you either get good weapons or you don't. The game showers you with jars that you can break for a million coins and health potions.
All of the exploration leading up to the boss room is incredibly bland and repetitive. Enemy AI is very straightforward and all rooms are cleared by just circle strafing and shooting at the mob of enemys that follow.
There are 3 bosses in the entire game, they are played in the same order everytime, and have 2 mechanics they alternate between. The patterns are extremely basic as far as bullet hell goes.
And that's about it. Especially at 12$ there is no chance this game would be worth your time or money. Here are some other "roguelikes" I would strongly recommend instead.
The Binding of Isaac
Curse of the Dead Gods
Dead Cells
Downwell
Enter the Gungeon
Hades
Monolith
Nuclear Throne
Spirits Abyss
Straimium Immortality
very fun game but not much content
Pros
+Good Price
+Stellar Music
+Great Design
+Feels good to move and fight
+The RNG and item sets are fun and often work together well
+Very Replayable
Cons
-DIFFICULT Even on Easy the 1F boss's moveset/HP/Damage does not feel easy, kinda punishing to beginners. (I bet you could take out the bullet curve to that one moveset and it'd be way more doable.)
- I might be missing something but no way to sell/drop items or sell weapons for coin, does that mean you will run out of room for items?
- Camera is too zoomed in, and no fullscreen that I'm aware of.
- I cannot talk to duckguy shopkeep please let me talk to the shopkeep
I would definitely recommend this game due to it's price point, but as a caveat regarding difficulty, only a 3rd of players have beat the first floor boss.
i like, BUTT i wish it saved my progress...
A nice wholesome rouge like that is fun to play through competetivley and casualy, as of wrting this it is only $2 wich is a great deal for such a good game.
Pretty fun, but short game (2 hrs for me for first clear (about half of that was paused idling while I was multitasking other things).
Things to know:
1. Dodge rolling doesn't make you invincible to bullets
2. Beds are teleport rooms, warp by clicking the word "Teleport" at the bottom
Other stuff could be spoilers, so I recommend just playing and seeing for yourself.
I like this game, it's a mix of soul knight, enter the gungeon and moonlighter. Unfortunately, this game only has 3 areas to explore, but it's exactly what this game needs.
This is an amazing dungeon crawler that needs more publicity
possibly a virus, I installed it and the went to sleep and when i got up my computer was forcing everything i click on into the recycle bin and when i tried to delete the desktop shortcut it did not allow me
