Ultimately the best coach game ever. Visuals are stunning; it can even be overwhelming at the start, but every pixel here is labor of love. Soundtrack is also one of the favourite indie sounds for me.
But the key is the gameplay of course. It's fast, it's engaging, you can hunt players after their death as a ghost, you can laugh when they kill themselvs with a fireball, you can HAVE FUN. Spells are super unique and ultra satisfying. 10/10
Absolutely amazing game design! The pixel art feels damn amazing together with the fast-paced arcade gameplay!
Played this for half an hour with a friend of mine and we just could NOT stop playing, and the repeatability with the various spells, maps and modifiers makes this a non-stop new favorite right beside RoR2!
The intro alone gave me goosebumps, and would love to see what else this game has in store!
Online multiplayer would definitely bring a lot of chaos in from everyone, and a campaign or something of the sort would bring light how these witches obtained their wibbly powers!
All in all, this is a very underrated gem and would love to see more people bring this out there!
This is on par with Stick Fight: The Game and many of its other similarities, so if you're looking for a game that lets you burn down that stress, then this fantastic arcade game will absolutely knock your socks off and give you one hell of a witchy time!
This has got to be the only fun "local pvp chaos" game I've played, and a very good one at that. It feels like it has the right balance of randomness and skill, and doesn't try to make the game more "funny" by having wacky physics or any such thing. Just fight with your oponents in a variety of environments with fun spells that are all useful and distinct.
The only downside I could point out for this game is that the keyboard controls seem to be at a disadvantage for no real reason, as for whatever reason using the mouse to aim doesn't seem to be a possibility for any of the players, so controllers with an analog stick are undoubtedly better than 8-directional key input.
this is one of the best local multiplayer game i have seen released in a long time i have had such a blast with this game i highly encourage people to try it. i was worried that the movement and controls would be bad/hard
THEY ARE NOT they are really well designed.(i would recommend a controller though) the art is amazing it has really good colors and is fun to look at. all the maps are really cool each map has a new gimmick that makes the map unique and fun to play. i am really surprised more people don't play this is made really great and well designed.
TL;DR: Game is crazy good
I'm just really really impress by the quality of the game
I understand why you price it at 3.99€ but god damn this game is worth way more if you have some friends to play along
For anyone who enjoyed Towerfall, you should jump on this one
I'm glad I got a recommendation on youtube for you
I will follow you work in the future, you got some pretty talents :)
So if you ever played a game called towerfall: Ascension and liked then this game is for you, plenty of spells and maps to keep things exciting, the two downsides I can think of is no online play (a bummer but definitely not a deal breaker for this type of party game) and the fact the devs won't sell me the soundtrack to the game.
Fun with friends, would recommend.
The game is fun to play. I have played this games demo so much with my brothers and they enjoyed it. I waited for the games full version for 2 years and it was worth it.
Very nice game, with a charming aesthetic.
Great game but im still working on unlocking the "fun stuff"
