china numba one thanks for the awesome game!
I really enjoy this game! The music is aweful and annoying. I would highly reccomend turning the music off or it wwill drive you crazy. It might be worth getting on sale.
i learned hing ling from this game
really good game and graphics, fun to play and scare friends who haven't played before
Game is currently broken for Index users. Upon starting the tutorial, a blue window appears that says "Enter Text Here Line 2 Line 3" with no way to exit the tutorial, game, or anything until you shut the game down completely.
Very short yet fun. Better with friends.
I wanted to check out this game and got it at a nice discount figuring I could endure any weirdness for such a cheap title.
Launched the game, got to the Tutorial, was shown a message that showed me placeholder text "Message 1, Text1, Text2" I couldn't progress in the tutorial as I was stuck walk around an empty room.
I tried to skip the tutorial, but you're required to play the tutorial to do anything else.
Alas, I had to refund it, real shame. Looked online and couldn't find a solution. I have my doubts that the dev's will look into this review and fix the problem.
this games price is actually extremely low, this is a super polished multiplayer wave shooter, in the vien of killing floor 2 or left 4 dead. maps arent as big, but theres a update with more so may be bigger ones now.
best of all they added a manual reload system, that actually works good, and guns feel like they pack some oomp. i do wish magazines could be gotten from the opposite side, but i would highly reccomend this game, its arcady zombies in vr, and its probably the best at it. well for the feeling you get playing feels less like other VR zombie titles, and really has its own unique feeling to it.
thats it, its super cheap so you cant go wrong here.
A good time for an arcadey style shoot um up that gives you multiplayer mayhem with voice communication with anyone youre playing with. The movement is a bit floaty but the guns do big damage and the levels all have a BIG BOSS type enemy at the final round of each level. The "drop" controls are a bit strange as your guns aare locked to your hands and you have to press in both sticks on Oculus to drop things into the "recycle bin" for extra cash but once you get the controls down, its a good time! I hope they add a Smooth Turn SPEED CONTROL soon because turning is very slow compared to the movement speeds but that is the only real thing I can complain about for a fun time killer like this.
This game is an absolute blast. Short game, many levels of difficulty, challenging, minor head spin, great weapon detail. Very fun and it is a bargain for what you get.
A very fun wave shooter with a good amount of leveling up with skill system and perk system. One of the best vr wave whooters
Totally worth its price.
The only negative aspect worth mentioning? Lego-head avatars. Whuhhhh?
this game is pretty boring, but still... i see potential. the devs did a pretty good job on the graphics and the mechanics are alright, but there lies the problem where's the fun gameplay? i know i have not put much time into the game but so far im keeping it on my library, some feedback for the devs make more crouching, dodging and all in all moving around. like i said i see potential. currently 7/10 if the devs spend a bit of time amping it up a little probably 8.5/10.
Watch my video here https://youtu.be/NUfg7IlB2XU
Played using the HP Reverb on Steam.
Graphics are nice and adds alot to the atmosphere. Some maps are better than others here.
Audio is very good and can have you turning very quickly to loud scary noises.
Gameplay: It's another zombie wave shooter and when I knew this I really wanted to skip this. I'm very happy I didn't. For the price is alot of game. You have 5 maps, 4/5 difficulty levels, level ups, many weapons, perks and monster types plus bosses. There is alot to like. I didn't get any bugs and really enjoyed playing the game. The bosses were unique and had their own attacks. Guns and rifles had auto reloads sadly. However I do think this suits the type of game. Animations are good.
Very surprising zombie wave shooter at a great price. 100% recommended.
Very fun to play co op. Can be challenging, but that just makes it more enjoyable in my opinion. Only real complaint I have is that there are some minor english translation issues, but very minor.
One of the best VR games out. Lots of levels, various monsters, weapons really great game
A hidden VR Gem, plenty of tools to wreck havoc, varied enemy design, a mixture of combat arenas a challenges plus a great upgrades system. Everything feels like it has weight behind it in terms of audio, smooth locomotion is also awesome.
This is a great inexpensive VR zombie shooter with lots of guns and melee weapons. If you just want to jump in and slaughter some zombies this is your game. Controls are reasonably spot on with a variety of difficulty levels. About the only things missing for me would be the ability to customize your gun, the ability to kit up in the lobby from your gun wall, and maybe just a bit more time between levels to shop and gather your loot. That said i highly recommend this game great stress reliever keep it up devs.
It's a great game for the price. Feels slightly like a mix of DOOM and L4D2.
My only points to make improvements on are:
- Change player avatars to something more realistic instead of lego heads.
- Allow Steam names in the lobby, not assign biblical ones as you can't tell who is who in a party.
- Show weapons and aiming/firing of other players instead of what looks like an empty hand (maybe this is a bug but people in my party say they see the same thing).
Every fun every good idea, but needs some more work. Maps are too small and there are too many zombies attacking at once. The slow motion is pretty cool but it gets very annoying after a bit, i think it should be something you can get as a power up after getting to a certain level.
Yeah I really don't recommend this it's once again another half baked generic shooter the controls are absolutely ass I had to use a workshop bind to even try and play and that STILL SUCKED half the game is in Chinese the Grammer used is obviously very poor ( I'm not a Grammer Nazi) but speaking English clearly wasn't in the budget it feels like a game out of an arcade straight from WISH.COM this also probably has COVID-19 visually it's also very poor
What to say
It's a fun wave game and not just waves protecting yourself but some other types of levels too
Cheap for a well done game the timer between for the supply boxes could be lengthened but oh well still overall a great game
No fingertracking on Index and no realistic reload make this quite unimmersive. I have no reason to keep playing. Will revisit after a few patches and see if it worked out.
While this may seem like a cheap zombie game (which it is) there is a lot more to it in the way of skill and weapon progression. I picked this game up on a whim due to the price and some of the reviews, and it quickly became one of my favorite VR games to just hop in and play.
The mindless killing is fun, the mechanics and reloads aren't too realistic which is fine so you can focus on what the game is pretty good at, killing large hordes of zombies with tons of unlockable weapon choices. The only downside of the game is that it isn't super polished, so don't go in expecting Robo Recall or Boneworks. However what you do get is a passion project by someone who wants to make a fun zombie game, and is still adding new weapons and content free.
For the price I can't recommend this game enough, I have at this point have put 20 hours into the game almost more than any other VR game in my library. Next time it goes on sale I'm going to buy it for a few of my VR friends, so I can finally try co'op (it has match making, but I don't always like playing with strangers).
This game is quite choice, if you have the means I highly suggest picking it up.
Overall, the game is too janky to enjoy.
Good -
-Feels great to shoot. The sounds on the guns are amazing.
-Usable scope on the sniper rifle.
-Upgrade system that seems like it would be fun to play with.
-Big arcadey gold goins to grab.
-The zombie models seem okay. Decently animated for "undead."
Bad -
- The UI is terrible. You'll wonder if you made a mistake as soon as you log in. Things constantly floating in your face.. and floating text in the environment.
- Interacting with objects is hard (at least with index controllers). You'll likely drop your gun instead of reloading and there don't seem to be options to change that.
-While there are options to change the angle of your gun, there don't seem to be options for your hands. So... the guns were perfectly aligned, while my hands were about 10 inches away and 90 degrees off of where they should be (index controller).
I just spent 2 hours in this game and never had so much fun in VR.
Really fun game, and for A$14.50, a bargain.
There seems to be no reload button. I can't get through the tutorial and can't help feeling like I just wasted $9.
All is okay but unfortunately, I find on level 4 Zomday, the idea of **playing slot machine** to get your weapon/bullets is completely retarded! Whose idea is this? He deserved to be thrown into a cage full of hungry and angry lions with only his barehands to survive. Lets see how he **save his energy**. Or maybe just give him a baseball bat to survive. How bout that you d-bag??
I get it with the challenge but can yall get some other type of challenge? Its actually stupidly tedious even on easy level :\
Oh and guess what? Bring in this huge freaking boss that has extreme high hp which probably requires you to unload an entire nation of firepower! I get it with the crowd control but still, this is stupid :\
Let me guess, after the boss death, you still gotta finish all these opponent off? Wao!
So whats level 5? You cannot use your eyes at all? or......you must shoot with your feet? Or maybe every bullet shot, you gotta do a backflip before allowed to shoot another bullet? Or do i need to hump a porcupine for each enemy i kill to stay dead or otherwise it gets resurrected? Common guys be reasonable with the challenge here really :\
This game is one of the only games I can say this for: It is a lot more fun than the video shows. It may look casual but as soon as I started playing, the amount of zombies and the occasional boss zombie had my adrenaline going. Started sweating within 5 minutes and I play some pretty vigorous VR games that require a lot of movement, so take that into consideration. The arena style levels and the shiny things you collect off zombies and crates, makes the experience more enjoyable for me. This game is definitely worth the 10 dollars I paid for it. I give it the VR Seal of Approval SOA.
EDIT: Just played the Abandoned Factory level and the boss was TERRIFYING!!!
This game is.... is FRICKIN AWESOME!!!
Looked good and promised a game like killing floor. It sucks don't get it.
It's a reasonably priced zombie wave VR game. Where can you go wrong?
That being said I have noticed a bug with private matches. I've had friends constantly DC in game after killing a certain mob. Please work on it if you see this, devs
For the price, this game is pretty great. There are some bugs for sure (like dropping from mutliplayer games, the center for going up ramps being tied to the circle in the middle of the play area, which also changes depending on where you happen to be standing when the game starts) but these are all kind of terrible and fun at the same time. I'm looking forward to more levels, but I hope the endearing Engrish found in the game menus doesn't change. An amazing amount of customization exists in the game, such as the 3D position of gun and grenade holsters, speed of movement, etc. Unfortunately, they are dependant on a slider that is too small and far away to be easy to use, so act as a random number generator than a precise adjuster, but hopefully the developer will fix that someday. Some Zom-day maybe? ;)
Pros: Really fun core gameplay. Some nice perk and weapon unlock mechanics too.
Cons: Terrible settings/menu. Can't mute in-game voice chat. Player rotation speed seems locked to framerate, so even when you crank it all the way up, your rotation speed gets slowed way down at times.
It's pretty fun tho.

I had an itch for slaughtering zombies in VR. This game isn't perfect, but it scratched that itch very well. Buy if you like shooting zombies.
Honestly, I cannot understand how this game is only $10.. it feels incredible compared to some of the older VR shooters, the reload mechanics can be a little bit odd to get the hang of at first depending on what controller you use, (Tried on 2 different headsets and I can say the controls are a pain on Quest 2, you basically can't teleport half the time) but it's still... Playable on it!
with a nice selection of guns to choose from, a neat shop and levelling system for you to sink hours into, I think it's a bargain for $10 (at the time of this review it's $6..what a goddamn steal) if you've got a buddy who enjoys Zombie shooters in VR, then pick this up because the co-op is also a lot of fun, you won't regret it.
I find that when I boot up another game, I find myself really wanting to put my VR headset back on and play Zomday.
honestly an amazing game.almost everything is perfect.i really wish more people played it. even at full price very worth it.
Constant Updates and incredibly well refined. Must Buy for VR Headset Owners
Fun game to kill waves of zombies. A lot like Killing Floor.
Lots of weapons to choose from.
Difficulty scaling seems to be with giving the enemies more health instead of just sending more, which can mean you are head shotting them 5 times with your pistol before they pop. But still makes it manageable with better weapons.
Best is to use all guns single handed since you don't really have time to line up your shot. But once you get into the rhythm you'll be popping heads with the sniper on your right and blowing the zombies back with a shotgun on your left. Which is maybe not that realistic (but it's a game with zombies so...).
Ranked right up there with Arizona Sunshine.. Fun game, Looks good in VR Plays well on an Oculas Rift S
Graphics ain't great but I still think that when you have a Vive it will be a lot of fun. The game is listed as Index supported and it clearly doesn't support it besides having the weapons angled correctly.
The support for the index controller is really bad, To reload you have to let go of the grip and then press the B button. For dropping the weapon you have to hold the grip button and press B. This results into dropping the weapon when reloading and not dropping the weapon when you want to drop the weapon.
The collisions are really bad and I regularly fell through platforms into a crowd of zombies.
This game is EXCEPTIONALLY promising. If they keep on the same course and simply expand what's already there, this game is going to be a total and utter winner. It has great flavor and, IMO, a better feel than Arizona Sunshine, which is unnecessarily futzy. This one feels good to just jump into and play, although I might feel differently on higher difficulty levels, I suppose. Regardless, try the demo and you'll likely decide it's worth $10.
This game is very fun. The slow mo action is intense and all the gun choices are primo
Super recommend this title for you to enjoy. Its great because you and a buddy can play it together.
Have fun whacking coins and shooting zomboooooos
Given the price, and honestly the fact it had Chinese developers, I went into this with pretty low expectations.
Well, I have almost 20 hours played, and boy is this a fun game. It knows what it wants to be, and it does it well.
It's a pretty standard Zombie Wave shooter that has a huge assortment of weapons. You level said weapons the more you use them, which in turn improves your performance with them.
I play this on the Rift S, and have had very little technical issues.
If you're into VR shooters, give this one a try. It's refreshingly fun to hop in for a game or two, and then go about your day.
I hope the developers maintain development and keeping adding content to the game.
Zomday is a pretty decent wave shooter where you can actually move around in your environment, the game has 5 maps and a description of each map as the lore, the game labels the maps as a "Story mode" and each map has to be beaten before you can unlock the next one. There isn't reaaaly a story at all, the credits don't even roll when you beat the final map lol, but you can pretend there is one.
Anyways the weapons are nicely polished and refined and you can play however you want to play. In normal mode you can use any combination of weapons to your liking and mow down zombies that way, there's also a hardcore mode that completly changes the game, where you have to manually reload your weapon (therefore you cannot dual weild), but in return you do double damage. It's more fun then the normal mode as there is waay more strategy involed now, however it's pretty buggy sadly, shotgun reloading is broken and doesn't work in hardcore mode and weapons will sometimes not fire at all after reloading them, forcing you to drop them and pick them back up again which can cost you the game.
You can also buy upgrades for yourself too.
Anyways there really isn't much to say about ZomDay, it's a solid zombie wave shooter that you can beat in a fairly short amount of time, get it on sale and you'll surely get your money's worth.
Very entertaining. To say it is CoD zombies in VR is to nail it in the coffin.
Probably the best shooting mechanics in a VR game that I have played. Play it in co-op. DO IT.!
Shoot zoms in the face.
Pros:
Lots of guns
Cons:
Grinding to unlock stuff
Impressive game considering not a massive team of devs
Pretty cool zombie wave shooter, lots of customisation options for VR, very enjoyable and extremaly cheap.
Love That Game, still needs a little more improvement but Good game overall.
Fantastic bang for your buck. Very fun game.
the mechanics in the training feel a little clunky at first, but play with it for a few minutes and you see how to properly use it & when you do : ITS A HELL OF A LOT OF FUN! think like you have an arcade cabinet at home with the best game in the arcade but it takes no quarters & has online co-op! either private or public lobbies.
its a zombie shooter with special zombies & creatures, a leveling system with perks & weapon unlocks.
multiple levels with difficulties, you get money by killing enemies & chests that spawn inbetween waves.
at the end of a map you can sell your weapons and equipment to buy experience coins so you level up way faster!
the game is a lot of fun for its pricetag and a nice workout as an added bonus, i give it an 8/10
because there are some issues, 1 of which is my game crashes after every map i've done (i still keep my progression and the game boots up fast so its nothing too bad but still)
I have played this for a total of 0.2hr. When I die, If I am given a chance to relive any point in time of my life, It would be this moment of 0.2hrs where I played this game. 10/10 would relive installing this game again.
This is my favourite VR shooting game. The controls are very easy and smooth. The guns look and feel amazing. I wish there were more shooters that felt this good.
One of the best VR games ever made 10 out of 10 in my book
Really fun arcade-style zombie defence game. Felt somewhat like the old House of the Dead games style-wise. Lots of upgrades to unlock. You could sink many hours into this title.
I regret buying this game, it was fun at the start but then I noticed that I am like level 60 in 5 hours, I almost got all the guns within 10 hours and the game is super boring because there is nothing special about it, no special event, the bosses are weak, you get too much money when killing zombies, if you run out of ammo you are screwed with no way to kill zombies. Also the game has bad servers, I haven't played it in a while but when I did I kept lagging/disconnecting from servers and there is rarely any player playing, it's also hard to get into a server but not because there aren't any players but because the button is sometimes broken for some reason, the game lags even though my pc is well over the recommended (My pc is able to run gta v on high settings), the music/intro is super loud for some reason, the menu when you get into the game barley works (Like buttons aren't clicking), the avatar's look so bad it's hard to believe this game costs 11 dollars (What I mean by that is that other players and youself don't have anything other then a head with a bad texture, the picture of the game is missleading in my opinion showing 2 people with actually bodies, the game looks bad even on max settings and the zombies aren't scary.
PC specs: GTX 1070-Ti, I7-8700 3.20GHz and 16 GB RAM
a nice easy on the pc zombie horde game for all to like
lack of game design in this project. Just designing a base with some guns to protect and some rushes of zombies is not gonna make a true video game but its gonna make money for sure. Dont waste your time on this. the zombies are just following a single line to you and are very dumb. the music is just a fake hack and slash thrash metal because its a zombie game (of course). the main point of a game is about being fun and this is not as much as its following all the cliches of a zombie game. Try walking dead VR and see what a real zombie game is.
Loads of Fun!!!! Please add like a 100 more levels...lmao!!!! i cant get enuff of this..i would glady pay for a dlc of more zombie wave stages.....the bosses are amazing as well!!!
[played on rift s]
So the tutorial made me think its meh to ok, the 1st time you play a level it looks good and its fun, then once you get a few new weapons and try some multiplayer its super fun, like the most fun ive had in vr. Really.
Lots of different, detailed guns grenades and weapons, you level up perks between missions, good sense of progression and importantly good and varied level design id say this game is the gold standard for zombie vr shooters and just vr games in general. These no reason not to buy this if you have vr, even if your really really scared of zombies you can try putting on michael jacksons thriller and just hope they dance :P
In my opinion it's the best zombie shooter vr game. I really recoment you try it.
Multiplayer is where this game really shines, shooting down hordes and hordes of zombies with your mates online is brilliant! Love the range of guns, monsters and loot, heaps of fun
Really good fun to play with friends could do with a few tweaks, like when the game ends it crashes and some boxes getting dropped in places you cant get them
literally killing floor+COD zombies but for VR
Very fun VR zombie experience. Feels like an arcade game you can play whenever you just want to fight waves of zombies and other monsters.
There's always a boss at the end of every stage, and the first time you fight them its very exciting!
Highly suggest this game especially with friends.
I really wanted to like this game. The reviews are amazing, it was on sale, on the already inexpensive price, and the graphics look great. Unfortunately, playing wireless with the Oculus Quest 2 through Virtual Desktop, the game kept acting like I was using HTC Vive controllers. I could not reload, and that was a deal-breaker for me. I did not try it with the Oculus Link. Nonetheless, unless the game is balls-out amazing, I'm not going to be tethered down to play it. If the developers fix it, I will purchase again.
FYI: To the developer, I did change my device before posting this review. I restarted multiple times and tried changing my device over and over to the Oculus. Same results each time. Please fix, and I'll be happy to purchase it again.
its a decent vr game for 10 bucks you shoot zombies and try to survive rounds
I have been playing this with some friends and must say that this game is worth the prize.
It's a good zombie wave shooting game and it has a lot of guns.
ZomDay runs smooth on Vive with Vive controllers or Index Knuckles.
The game has great graphics lots of great guns to play with multiplayer
runs well bosses are well done. That's the good the bad is that although
multiplayer is good if your lucky enough to find a decent random player
to game with (Rare) this isn't usually the case. Script kiddie hackers are
usually hanging around trying to ruin people's open games using hacks
so they can damage you and you can't fight back and steal all your drops
and kills. Still overall its a good game I recommend it and you can easily
avoid the script kiddie hackers by making private password protected
games and sending the code to your friends.
The game is beautiful in terms of zombie design, weapons, and various difficulty levels, and when you are attacked by zombies and trapped between them, you feel terrified and demand survival. The game contains a lot of challenges with the support of playing online with friends
And in the end this is
My experience of the similar Call of Duty Zombie game but with virtual reality and TactSuitX40
https://youtu.be/sMPcWphdfdE
This game is awesome love it can't get enough, it really does have everything you want in a zombie game, game play, graphics, sound effects, physics, weapon variety, zombie variety all top notch brilliant you have to have this in your library. This is my first ever review i don't usually bother but for this game i had to this game deserves much higher praise the developers need to know they done a great job and i will gladly pay for more DLC cheers!
I love this game and will probably play it off and on, this games servers are dead and that sucks because, this is my top 5 vr games, I love the aspect of an Arcade VR Zombies game, and it's a beautiful time waster. I have 4 hours and have probably finished 15 games that feel like they take 30 minutes each. It has some pros like, It's maps are small, but you can easily move around them and sometimes it's a fun challenge to not get trapped in harder modes. A lot of the guns seem expensive, but one of the items that zombies drops says "Hit me" and you can get 16K in 10-15 seconds. Weapons do the damage you would expect them too and the more expensive ones definitely don't upset, I should also mention I love the grenades, they usually cost between 200-700 and they slaughter a lot of the zombies in seconds to make it easier. Now some of the cons are things that don't really effect my gameplay much, but they are noticeable. Grenades have a line when you throw them, and I thought that the grenades were screwed and just threw short but it turned out the line was a bit early and glitched. I've noticed that melee sometimes doesn't work and just goes through the zombies if you're swinging quickly. The last issue is that on some maps you can just glitch through rails or accidentally put your head through a wall. That's all I have to say about the game and I think anyone that likes zombie games should buy this one.
the last boss is kinda BS but overall the game is fine.
hey i cant play zomday on KAT I/O . i need help
because i want to use KAT VR for movements so its must be to play via KAT I/O not SREAM
This game isn't the best. Granted, it was also one of the first games I bought after getting my VR, so my experience wasn't the best, right-out-the-box, so-to-say.
This was the first game to make me queezy, to the point where I had to sit down after playing for a few minutes.
The HUD is pretty bad, all your equipment is located in narrow boxes in front of you. Well, there is a backmount, but it 's hard to use. I ended up grabbing weapons/gernades on accident frequently.
The controls (on the Index) are freakin'....AWFUL. The touch-pad thumbs are needed to be pressed to drop the weapon in your had. Well, where does your thumb naturally rest, the pad. To reload, you have to push the button {b or a, I don't remember) you have to push to drop the weapon (while holding the thumbpad down), but it doesn't end there, you have to bring the gun to your chest and then press the button.
The game automatically starts out in (I believe) Chinese and you need to realize there's a 'Flag Selection' on the main menu. I missed it the first few times I played the game and was able to navigate by just using the top options constantly. With that said, the training was in English right off the bat - so I am confused.
Finally, the game is fairly easy. The thing that makes the game difficult is the poor controls. Otherwise, you are given plenty, and I mean plenty, of money/resources to not ever really have to remember. Considering you can hold up 5 Weapons + 2 Gernades at one given time (Holding 2, stored 3 guns - two small one large). So, you have lots of ways to deal damage - melee is also broken - just quick jabs will insta-gib Zombies.
TL;DR
Game is okay but the controls are so awful I dislike the game. Otherwise, I'd recommend it.
What Killing Floor Incursion should have been.
I think the game is better than the trailer suggests. It has a TON of content. You need your VR legs though to play or you are going to get sick.
Весёлая wave-пострелушка с возможностью бегать по локации и прокачиваться и покупать оружие между волнами. Графика в целом приличная, толпы монстров и их реакция на попадания радует.
the first 10 minutes or so almost had me putting this down and refunding just because of the sheer inconvenience that came with using the knuckles for this, but after deciding to push a bit further and trying out both the "hardcore" and normal mode I can definitely say that this game is amazing and is more so what I've always wanted out of Arizona sunshine and its way cheaper than it at that. my tips for making this fun would be - to embrace the arcadey nature and ignore hardcore mode since its honestly not fitting for this game and is extremely clunky but good on the devs for giving options - play this like wolfenstein, dual wield EVERYTHING YOU POSSIBLY CAN, this game has stupid fun in mind not realism in the slightest like magical self pumping shotguns. pay the $10 or wait for a sale I got it for $4 and its well worth it.
Amazing carnage crested, million head shot, slow mo brain fractal, arcade rampage of bullet and brutality. stylishly preening undead swaths to gain the ultimate end of all times title of grand doogadooga guy. Addictive for the right reasons. fun. needs a pause button though.
This is a fun Arcade game. It is worth buying.
It is actually decent, but not my thing, so I'll be refunding this.
This is a wave/arena shooter. You're in small maps, attacked by waves of zombies, at the end of the way there are boxes with supplies, which you collect, and you also buy weapons and ammo between the waves in the shop.
Like some other reviewer mentioned, there's decent enemy variety and multiple zombie types, plus there are bosses. The developers also tried to make sure they won't all look the same, so there are recolored shirts/clothes/etc.
There are issues however.
* The store page claims the game supports seated play, that is a lie. No seated play support, meaning there's no height offset, and while you COULD play in a chair, you'll be playing an angry hobbit with a shotgun, as your eyes will be at seated level.
* At the start of the game my controls didn't work, and that required using ocmmunity control mapping through steam settings, which is very unobvious thing to do.
* At the start of the game, the guns in my hands were facing 45 degrees upward and were hard to aim. THis can be configured in the settings, however...
* You can't go into settings/options from the game. You're either in the level, or you're in the settings.
* Smooth turn technically exists, but is comletley unusable, as turning speed is too low and cannot be raised to a decent value.
* Some parameters are configured via sliders and there's no way to precisely adjust numerical value. For example, turning speed is a slider, locomotion speed is a slider, and if you accidentally move locomotion slider from its default value, then it is unlikely that you'll be able to move it abck to its 300 spot. (the range is 0-600, and the slider is small, meaning you'll simply miss the value).
* There are some awkward translations here and there, as developers were apparently asian.
* Smooth locomotion uses acceleration during movement, that might trigger VR sickness in some people quite quqickly.
The biggest problem for me was lack seated support and smooth turn support. When I finally played it standing, I found that it isn't as awful as it seemed, and is actually not bad. However I also realized that it is not what I'm looking for right now.
If you're a zombie game fan, have standing play space and no knee problems, I think it is worth checking out.
Tutorial is in broken English, the HUD is terrible, the AI is brain-dead and the game is poorly optimized (even for specs exceeding the recommended requirements).
This is a fast-paced arcady wave based shooter with heavy metal music blaring in the background and numerous bullet sponge enemies that keep increasing at an insane pace. The first few waves are OK and then it just gets nuts with what seems like an entire city full of zombies and large rats rushing towards you. You also constantly run out of ammo and it takes forever to get to any of the better weapons other than a pistol, machine gun, and a shotgun. The weapons in this game also feel very weak and ineffective. Teleportation is also poorly implemented in this game because the pace is so chaotic. You must constantly keep moving and trying to teleport so quickly causes a side to side motion where you get turned around. You can of course use free locomotion, but that causes me nausea. I also experienced constant frame rate drops and a jittery screen whenever certain effects would take place such as zombies exploding. The entire experience just feels more like a non-VR game made with a VR option and the gameplay is way too chaotic and frustrating for me. I cannot recommend this game.
most likley the worst game ive played. it is way too buggy and wont let me adjust settings correctly making it impossible to play. i was super excited but now i just want a refund tbh.
very fun and good time killer its worth the price all these negative comments dont know what there talking about i havent had any problems with this game
Katana and full auto Grenade Launchers.
Got so many hours of fun out of this that I have to recommend, but it seems to have been abandoned, which is shame.
i beat the entire game including difficulties even unlocked the mg42 i just wish there was more new levels because i really enjoyed killing zombies while it lasted :(
not bad but definitely outclassed by after the fall
i should have refunded this two years ago
Cool another VR fps that is a gimmick, and fun for 30 minutes at best.
those VR gimmick are as fun as the first game apps i've tried when i had my 1st iphone
Super Simple VR Zombie wave survival with guns and stuff.
got this game for the oculus... such a great VR arcade shooter, free walk around, shooting, melee... only thing is: IT NEEDS MORE PLAYERS!!!! i bought it on steam and once in a blue moon i actually see a match i can join some one! this game has great music and such a great way to hang out and slay with friends its a must for VR!!!
Great game very fun but has basic issues that need to be addressed. Mandatory tutorial, no pause button, and no exit game option are basic elements every video game should have. However once you get past all that its a very fast paced fun game with real nice graphics!
def a hidden gem / diamond in the rough. very fun with friends.
Controls are bad. The inability to purchase ammo for the guns you have access to can cause unintentional soft-lock since it is impossible to kill the huge boss enemies with just a knife/axe. It also doesn't help that the inventory and hud is one of the worst I've used in VR. I bought it to play with friends, but honestly I wouldn't want them to go though such torture.
