there are some online lobby issues, but gurl/boi:
+beautiful chara design
+cheesy, but omg kick-ass soundtrack
+the friggin' godlike netcode
+the beginner friendly gameplay (yep, if some pr0 is complaining... well, cry my a river, baby.) it's like fighterz: easy to learn,hard to master

In short, Let's Rock.

Great music, animations are fantastic, multiplayer lobby is intresting, they place you to a tower with similiar players on you skill lvl then you raise up to get to the top. For now, multi is kinda laggy mayby because they release it yesterday (propably they will fix some lags or mayby it's because some ppl got wooden internet) but who care when you kick some asses in fashion Guilty Gear style.

Waiting for characters from season pass 1 ;)

From the perspective of an intemediate fighting game player, the changes are just great. I think input detection is more forgiving than in previous titles, vapor thrust on Ky finally gives no issue even during intense battles. Battle itself is a bit slower than in other GG games, but due to lower health pool they feel even more dynamic.

I also really like the floor system in ranking games, most players will find similar level opponents in no time.

Ah, and it's worth noting that visual side of the game is stunning and it has one of the best soundtracks in the history of gaming - as long as you are into rock/metal.

Na bank jest to jedna z najlepiej wyglądających nawalanek, o ile nie wyglądająca najlepiej w ogóle. Na minus - w porównaniu do wcześniejszych odsłon - na pewno jest o wiele uboższy arcade, gdzie były zwyczajnie lepiej zrobione interakcje i o wiele bogatsze niż tutaj. Sporym minusem jest też brak ustawiania poziomu trudności, bo ten jest dobierany automatycznie z czym się wiąże poważny problem, bo walki są możliwe do przejścia, aż nie docierasz do Nagoriyuki'ego, który - dosłownie - wchodzi cały na biało i bardzo skutecznie uświadamia Ci, że w daną postać nie umiesz (pomijając fakt, że w dwóch ciosach zeżre Cię do żyletki życia). Corem tej gry jest ewidentnie player vs player, więc tego tak nie odczujesz, bo nacisk jest jednak na grę z innymi przeciwnikami. Postaci nie jest może dużo (chociaż jeszcze 5 jest zapowiedziana na 1 sezon), ale są od siebie totalnie inne i każdą gra się inaczej. Walki są mega dynamiczne i szybkie, jak do tej pory jak toczyłem rundę dłużej niż 30 sekund, to uważałem że się przeciąga. Nie każdemu może siąść muzyka w tle, natomiast fani rockoweo i metalowego brzmienia odnajdą się w tym bezbłędnie (w ogóle, imiona postaci, przydomki czy nazwy ciosów nawiązują do klasyków muzyki tych gatunków). Co do grafiki, to na netflix są teraz Anime wyglądające o niebo gorzej.

Plusy:
- Walki są mega dynamiczne i szybkie
- Prosty system walki, łatwy do nauczenia i bardzo szybko wchodzi w krew
- Fajerwerki na ekranie, to co się dzieje po prostu powoduje opad szczęki
- Tryb "Story" to praktycznie 4h animacji (tylko animacji)
- Dostępne postacie są totalnie różne, każdą się gra inaczej
- Grafika
- Muzyka

Minusy:
- Jak dla mnie, brak INSTATN KILL z wcześniejszych części (nie żeby się dało odczuć ich brak, ale szkoda bo fajnie wyglądały)
- Zubożony tryb Arcade
- Brak wyboru poziomu trudności (choćby po to by nie masterować każdej postaci do trybu arcade)
- Mimo wszystko lobby do gry online, dla mnie zwyczajnie idiotyczne

Ogólnie polecam, szczególnie dla fanów wcześniejszych części albo tych lubujących się w serii BlazBlue.

Legendarne dawne postacie odświeżone w rewelacyjny sposób, aż się przypominają stare czasy jak nawalało się w GGx2r z kumplami i rodzinką... ponadto fajnie są zaprojektowane nowe postaci pasują do reszty, świetne kombosy aczkolwiek boli trochę brak IK.. mogliby przerobić mechanikę tak by wykończenia można było użyć tylko w momencie gdy przeciwnik jest na low HP.. no ale ogółem wiadomo.. najlepsza bijatyka jaka istnieje!! :D

I'm type of a person that don't like competetive games. They requires lots of time of training, are stressing person out, and mostly depends on your teamwork with teammates. Well this is what I'm thinking about Competetive Shooters, MOBA etc. Fighting games are actually the same without the last thing and maybe the second one (Depends on the person), cause if I would fail, it would be my fault of loosing, not from other teammate. Tried like 3 fighting games before getting into Guilty Gear Strive and I can easily say that this game is my personal favourite.
I got into this game because of design of characters. Everyone looks rad and has something that catches an eye. Kept me thinking what every character does and how it feels to play them. Also the next thing what motivated me into this game is soundtrack. Easily one of my favourites in gaming. Every track feels different to every character and say story of them.
Alright so after that I was sure that I want to play it and got the game, how it feels to play it? It feels amazingly great. It is fast and smooth, animations and effects don't confuse you.
Well every fighter has something special to offer right? So Guilty Gear offers you quite unique mechanics. Burst that allows you to stop someones combo or critical hit. Dust that is quite long overhead, but when you will use it properly, it will be very awarding. Wall breaks (What I heard only in Strive) that expands playing on the corner, with more ammount hits you will give to opponent, closer you will be to break wall and stop playing on corner only and start from middle once again. My personal favourite, Roman Cancel. It allows you to extand combos, cancel your moves, slows enemy a bit, boost yourself closer (or further) to enemy and block enemy attacks to get your turn to attack. Every mechanic of Roman Cancel launches in specific sittuation and it feels satisfying when you will hit it in the right time.
Ammount of characters may seem small, but every one of them feels different. While playing mainly two characters (Ky, Testament) I could say the difference with a playstyle. Also I could see it, while playing against other characters. Every match feels much different when you won't be playing against one and the same character. Force you to learn how you should play on specific character.
Although I can say that it is very beginner friendly fighter. Easy to learn moves, not complicated UI, missions that will allow you to learn more about game mechanics.
Little catch about moves is that they might be easy to learn, but hard to master them. Combining into combos is quite harder than training one specific move. It is about input, which for me didn't make sense or was it just broken, but it was just me. Noticed that I was doing wrong input in combo and even tho while playing it happened to me to start fight with a wrong move cause I screw up input. Not saying that input here sucks, just it may be hard for some people to learn it.
OffTopic: Dustloop site is very helpful about getting info about the game and characters. Very well describing moves, matchups, frame data, combo recipies etc. If you are willing to get more help with game, go check this site, you will find out mostly everything you will need. Also on Youtube there is tons of videos of combos, guides for characters etc.
If I want to train something, here is very well made Lab (Training room). It allows you to choose what AI should do, or how it react to some x movement from you. Also you can record movement for AI, to recreate the same case scenario that you had problem with, which makes it very helpful to find out if there is any gap that you can use an advantage.
Single player content is pretty decent. You have Story mode which is mostly 5 hours long cutscene and I have enjoyed it. Animations can look pretty odd and stiff, but longer I have watched, more I have enjoyed it. Maybe it isn't that much action as it could be expected, but it is more lore focused and story here is pretty good. I have enjoyed very much of the story, pretty well made jokes, character development and if there begins action sequence, it is always good made. It is still 5 hours of cutscene, no time for you to fight, just watch, but still worth of the time. Besides of it, we have mode of full Tree which describes characters and their relationships with others. And beyond lore, we have Survival and Arcade mode. Survival is pretty usual. Waves of enemies, survive as much as you can. And we have Arcade. Which will unlock special boss at the end if you will meet some conditions, but believe me or not. This special Boss is ridiculous.
But mainly I would suggest to get this game to play Online. It is more fun playing against people than AI. You have ranked floors, which I have pretty mixed expresions to them. It is unique mechanic of online gameplay for sure, but sometimes it doesn't works. Firstly, Floors have many lobbies and sometimes you will get into lobby with only few persons and later with tons of them (At the same time). Connecting into matches is quite broken, cause sometimes there is some issue while connecting to someone. When you will find someone to play, it will be loterry if this person is AFK, or they will be okay to play against your character, cause they can decline match if they won't like it. Netcode which is mainly praising in this game is very good ngl. While playing with someone on 100 ping feels pretty good and sometimes I think that I'm playing localy or with smaller ping. But this netcode won't help that much for people with 150+ ping, cause than true magic begins. Teleportation, lagging characters etc.
Overall, if you are willing to start your journey with Fighting games, it is great place to start. If you are into characters, music and play from time to time with friends or online, go ahead, get it. If you are interesting into lore and singleplayer content, it is not that much here, but still may be worth the price.
